300 Followers Celebration!!!!!

This blog just hit 300 followers, so I am delighted to be announcing a celebration!! The rules are simple: send in any sort of prompt (SkSw related ofc) and I'll write a mini (probably no more than 500 words but we'll see) oneshot about it! Just make sure it's SFW :) Also, I will write for the following ships: Zelink, Karpit, Ghirafi, Poose (Peatrice/Groose), and Florielle, but it doesn't have to be a ship prompt so long as it relates to the game :)

I can't promise that I'll have your oneshot finished immediately, as I've been quite busy lately, but I'll do my best!

I’m in such a chatty mood but I’m listening to skyward sword music and the goddess sword song that plays when Link first gets the goddess sword actually kills me.

It’s a call to adventure, he’s being told that he’s a chosen hero and will save Zelda, and all that crap. But the song isn’t triumphant sounding. It isn’t grand or powerful. It’s quiet, somber, and slow. The song perfectly has the feeling of being overwhelmed. And the fact that when talking Gaepora, one of the dialogue options for Link is “it’s so much” ???? EXCUSE ME???? This boy is overwhelmed, he’s pressured and all the things that he needs to do is stressful. Like??? I cant!!! I cant with this game and this part in particular it’s so RAAAAH

Running at night collecting Gratitude Crystals and I went into Zelda’s room through the chimney… and yoooooo!

She not only has a doll of Tingle the Fairy, but there’s also a love letter on her desk. I only ship Zelink in very specific games, and Skyward Sword so far is definitely the main one, but like.

YOOO THERE’S A LOVE LETTER ON HER DESK. UNOPENED. PROBABLY BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN BY HER AND HASN’T BEEN GIVEN TO THE RECIPIENT YET.

With how they’ve been writing Link and Zelda’s relationship in the game, and how Link is always just smiling at her, and how Zelda’s first instinct is to run to him every time they meet before Impa pulls her back- oh my gods. This letter is definitely for Link.

But he can’t read it because the game won’t let him. 😭

Ugh. They’re so cute in this game. I’m very particular when it comes to Zelink but damn it’s so good in this game. Especially since they already knew each other, and already have that chemistry, and Groose is so jealous of their closeness-

Zelda and Sky!Link is the best iteration of Zelink, and probably the only one that’s actually canon. Which makes sense. Although BotW does hint at it a bit- especially in Link’s Japanese quest log. But I’m weak for Mipha, lol.

We seem to have forgotten that skyward sword Zelda knows how to knit.

And I’m here to tell you that Link and Zelda would absolutely show off their little creations to one another. Or even bring them to training lessons when they finish a piece just so they can show them to each other. Yeah just, them two artistic nerds, nerding out about the other’s respective skills.

Sometimes I remember that SkSw when Link got the sailcloth he added at the end of the description, “… it smells nice.” and we know that Zelda was the one who made it so ofc it smells like her and I just *sobs* holy shit man. They’re so in love and Link thinks Zelda smells nice and I quite sure Zelda must think the same for him considering everything else.
