i think there's a post!nerdy prudes timeline out there where steph knew emma pre them becoming practically sister in laws in a snap ( perhaps steph worked at beanies for quick cash right after nerdy prudes? or maybe she asks emma for a job with the BussinessTM but ANYHOW ) and one late, middle of the night she calls emma and spills everything that happened that night ( not about the max murder. but you know about the being chased and almost killed by 'something' and the summoning and the Gun. and all that fun stuff ) and i am so sorry to emma if she sounds insane but girl is going through it and feels like she's got no one else to talk about it to so that person so uh... have fun emma please believe her.

on a much lighter note, any time that steph stays at the farmhouse, she asks emma if she can help with the potfarm, generally because she wants to do something to thank her for letting her stay as often as she does, but also because she generally has interest and thinks it's cool as shit.

whenever she has big life news, the very first person she goes to ( usually before pete/ her partner ) is in fact emma. does not matter how big or how small said life update is, good or bad, she goes to emma and emma hears it first.

because i am thinking about zombies / dawn of the dead au : emma is the first person that steph really opens up to about her fears and worries and wondering about the world that was to emma, the good and the bad, and very much so is the first person she completely trusts out of their group.

time is so cyclical it's funny almost exactly 4 years ago I was at my sister's wedding w my ex and the day was so wildly stressful and hectic and the day ended w me deciding I needed to break up with them and then today I got to go to my boyfriend's parents' wedding w him and it was actually such a blast

Thinking about Becca Barnes being Peggy’s assistant

After her brothers passing away, she tries to stay safe the best she can. The last thing she wants to do is have their parents- both her mom, dad, and aunt Sarah- grieve another child.

She gets offered basic training but Bec declines, just needing a simple office job. It doesn’t matter what she wanted, this was safe.

It’s nice to get out of the house with a full time job. Seeing Jimmy’s old sciencey-stuff around the house is just depressing.

Peggy dropping off her godson for Becca to watch from time to time, and they get along great. He’s a lonely kid- but so smart and so bright. He doesn’t know much about socializing, and it’s nice to teach him things.

And soon Bucky’s old stuff has a new owner.

A) It is never cold in this city anymore

B) It is cold so rarely to begin with, all my sweaters were still in great shape. But my tank tops were all falling apart.
