For the ABO thing: I also really like Stan as a Beta that’s faking at being anything he needs to be, and Ford being either an Alpha or Omega. Stan finds out Ford presented right after he’s thrown into the portal (probably finding suppressants in his house), and this leads to…

1. He’s mimicking an Alpha. That’s not so bad. He’s always been determined to get what he wants, and now he has every excuse to be brash about it. But after Ford returns and it becomes apparent to the family that Stan is NOT (supposed to be) a pack-leading Alpha or a nurturing Omega, he feels a lot of displacement. Everyone loves and respects him the same (more or less, though Dipper would give him so much shit for the Alpha lie specifically)— but Ford is all the more mesmerizing now that the secret is out. He’s proud of his role and wants to enforce it, and there’s a lot of weird tension around the fact that Stanley just. Refuses to listen. It’s been decades. He believes he’s the man of the house. He claims he doesn’t have to follow secondary-sex rules (he definitely hasn’t so far), and it drives Ford up a wall, which drives Stanley up a wall, because of all stupid things Ford cares about, of course it would be the lamest excuse to boss around his brother. Stan used to defend him as kids, and now Ford expects him to bow like something he isn’t (and Stan, despite not being biologically disposed to it, occasionally kinda sorta feels the urge to give in).

Ford takes it upon himself to make Stan lose his mind without the aid of insane sex hormones, and Stan takes it upon himself to taunt Ford mercilessly— even in the bedroom— until his extra enlarged ego dies down a bit.

2.Stan’s completely breaking down. He sent his Omega brother out into the multiverse with no protection or awareness. Hell, he didn’t even KNOW he was an Omega. How did Ford handle himself in school? College? Gravity Falls? Did that have anything to do with why he was so isolated? Stan should’ve done something. Could Stan have done something?

When Ford comes back, Stan is hoping to make it up to him in anyway he can. He is SO expecting his brother to come back malnourished, weak, and hurt. And then he isn’t. Ford’s skills have surpassed everyone’s expectations (which isn’t so weird to Stan once the shock wears off. His brother had never been one to fit societal standards), he makes his own suppressants, and he definitely doesn’t need Stan. Which is frustrating, because Ford gets himself into dangerous situations, and Stanley thinks he HAS to help him, but Ford thinks he’s being awfully suffocating for someone without the right to be.

Stan also hates pretending to be an Omega. People are terrible and condescending and he wants to bite their head off for it (this would be exacerbated if he was actually an Alpha. Imagine!). But also. He hates himself. Ford must’ve put up with all of this long before he did, and he wasn’t there to shield him from it. Just. So much guilt.

Ford probably resented Stan all the more during those 10 years for very similar reasons, but after travelling the multiverse and overcoming everything… he kind of wants Stan to make it up to him by fucking until his body gives out.

In either case, Ford comes to see that Stanley is enough regardless of his supposed un-remarkability. And maybe he likes playing around with Stan’s acting skills. And maybe Stan doesn’t really care about secondary sex things until Ford comes back into his life, and Ford never got to experiment much outside of Fiddleford (and maybe Bill), and so they explore it together.

i do like the idea of stan as a beta and using that as an excuse to just kinda...do whatever the fuck he wants haha. or, more likely, whatever he thinks is going to be the best fit for the situation. he probably keeps pheremone sprays in his jacket pocket and pulls the simpering omega card to get out of sticky situations when he thinks he's found a soft touch. or barrels into aggressive alpha to deal with punks who need to be knocked down a peg or two.

if we consider ford not actually presenting until he went into the portal, and take the alpha route, that also puts him in a weird as hell position. like where he has all these secondary instincts that he's either ignoring or trying to navigate, mostly through dimensions that don't play by the same rules. so on one hand, he gets back and it's not really that different that stan isn't fitting neatly into a beta box -- he's got a lot of experience with people not conforming to whatever is ingrained in the back of his own head now.

but on the other hand, stan himself makes ford kind of want to pull out the alpha thing. it gives him an excuse to get into stan's space and argue with him, to be more physical than he'd normally let himself be - it's just those pesky alpha hormones being back on home terf, that's all!

and it doesn't help that stan still insists on jumping between roles depending on the day, and ford knows he's a beta, that he isn't actually exuding alpha aggression or omega distress, but hell if it doesn't light up the primal part of his brain, all those feelings and instincs, that he hasn't actually had any chance to learn how to navigate. but once they get over their bullshit - cause there's always gonna be bullshit between them when ford gets back lol - it's something they play with more purposefully.

ooh, now that’s an interesting question.

i think he’s still more than a little bitter about how the chop-chop fruit came into his life. we’ve seen all kinds of devil fruit acquisition stories, ranging from “decades-long plot to get your hands on a very specific one” to “little deer boy eats fruit, gains sapience,” and buggy’s pretty far on the accidental side of that spectrum. but not too far because it was an accident he set himself up for. but admitting any responsibility for the situation he’s in would be terribly ooc for buggy.

at the same time, it’s now been more than half his life that he’s had a devil fruit power. whether he wanted it or not, he has it, and he’s used to it, and it’s useful to him. it’s what made him stand out in east blue, it’s how he survived impel down and marineford, it’s what allows him to survive… *gestures at his current situation* that.

would he give it up? i think only if that went hand in hand with starting his life over at the age when he first ate it. chop-chop powers are too much a part of who buggy the clown is and what he’s capable of. if you took it away, he… doesn’t have much else going on. which is fine when you’re a kid, less so when you’re nearly forty.

Okay so like stick with me but young Derek, alive hale fam au.

So like the Hale family finds out that Derek has a crush on Sheriff Stilinski’s delinquent son, and has mixed reactions. Talia is torn between amusement, worry and wanting to dislike stiles. Papa hale is very protective but thinks it funny that him and his son have the same tastes.

Peter is ecstatic, Stiles once beat him in chess when running from the cops. (stiles was running and sat down in the park around people for cover, turns out he interrupted a chess tournament. Peter challenged him to a game if stiles lost, Peter would turn him over to the police. If he won, stiles could use him as an alibi)

The rest of his siblings don’t really have an opinion other than using Derek’s crush to make fun of him EXPECT for Laura. Laura is in a one sided rivalry with stiles.

As the sheriff right hand deputy she was tasked with keeping an eye out for stiles and she constantly loses him. Which shouldn’t be possible because she’s a werewolf. She can never connect him to a crime he’s committed and can never prove anything. Can’t go to a judge a say “oh he left a scent trail which I followed because I’m a werewolf.”

Derek brings him home to dinner after they start dating. Unfortunately, the day that Derek brings him over, is also the day that Laura had to run around town taking reports of his crimes. She is fuming. Stiles looks her dead in her twitching eye and asked her how her day went.

The only crime she can connect him to is when he commit aggravated assault against a few of Derek’s teammates went to far with hazing. (Derek refused to fight back as not to hurt them) she lets him off.

The Bat-Adoption Papers are literal Magic Contracts

So! In the Deified Batman AU (the AU where the Belief of the peoples of Gotham accidentally Ascended Batman to minor godhood), the Bat Adoption Papers would be a fun concept.

Batman is a God of The Night, Fear, and Protection. Specifically, the protection of Children, which is one of his biggest motivators. Meaning, it's a big part of his Divine Domain.

So when he, a God of Protection and Children, adopts his own Child? It's kind of a big deal.

His Adoption Papers basically become Magical Contracts that claim Dick to him as his own Son, basically turning Dick into a Demigod by the fact that he is the Son of a God.

Then each time Batman adopts a kid, they become a Demigod as well. Maybe after enough time, and after they forge their own Identities, they could become Minor Gods of their own? Idk, fun idea

Why do I bring this up?

Well, when Danny eventually joins the JLA, and runs into Batman, all he sees in a God of the Night, who takes one look at him, and then pulls out a Magical Binding Contract from his Belt.

Needless to say, he books it.

DP x DC: The Most Dangerous Card Game

Ok so Danny has essentially claimed earth as his. And he is fully aware that there are constant threats to the planet. Now he can’t stop a threat that originates on earth (that’s something he’ll leave to the Justice league) but he can do something about outside threats. Doing some research on ancient spells, rituals, and artifacts, he cast a world wide barrier on the planet to protect it from hostile threats so they cannot enter. This will prevent another Pariah Dark incident. However, barriers like this come at a price. You see, there are two ways to make a barrier. Either make one powered up by your own energy and power (which would be constantly draining) or set up a barrier with rules. The way magic works is that nothing can be absolutely indestructible. It must have a weakness. The most powerful barriers weren’t the ones reinforced with layer after layer of protective charms and buffed up with power. Those could eventually be destroyed either by being overpowered, wearing them down, or by cutting off the original power source. No, the most powerful barriers were the ones with a deliberate weakness. A barrier indestructible except for one spot. A cage that can only be opened from the outside. Or that can only be passed with a key or by solving a riddle. So Danny chooses this type of barrier and does the necessary ritual and pours in enough power to make it. And he adds his condition for anyone to enter. 

Now the Justice league? Find out about the barrier when Trigon attempts to attack, they were preparing after he threatened what he would do once he got to earth. How he would destroy them. The Justice league tried to take the fight to him first but were utterly destroyed, so they retreated home to tend to their injuries, and fortify earth for one. Last. Stand. Only when Trigon makes his big entrance…he’s stopped.

The Justice league watch in awe as this thin see-through barrier with beautiful green swirls and speckled white lights like stars apears blocking Trigon and his army’s advance. The barrier looks so thin and fragile yet no matter how hard the warlord hits, none of his attacks can get through and neither can he damage said barrier. That’s when Constantine and Zatanna recognizes what this barrier is. Something only a powerful entity could create. For a moment, the league is filled with hope that Trigon can’t get through yet Constantine also explains that it’s not impenetrable. And clearly Trigon knows this too for he calls out a challenge. 

And that’s when, in a flash of light, a tiny glowing teenager appears. He looked absolutly minuscule compared to Trigon and yet practically glowed with power (this isn’t a King Danny AU though).

And that is when the conditions for passing the barrier are revealed. And the Justice realize that the only thing stopping Trigon and his army from decimating earth. The only way he can get through….is by beating this glowing teenager in a card game. 

Not just any card game though. The most convoluted game Sam, Danny, and Tucker invented themselves. It’s like the infinite realms version of magic the gathering, combined with Pokémon, and chess. And Danny is the master. So sit down Trigon and let’s play.

(The most intense card game of the Justice league’s life).

After Danny wins, this happens a few more times with outer word beings and possibly even demons attempting to invade earth, yet none have been able to beat the mysterious teenager in a card game. Constantine might even take a crack at it and try to figure out how to play. He’s really bad though. Every time this happens, the Justice league worry that this might be the time the teenager looses. Yet every time, he wins (even if only barely). 

Meanwhile, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have gotten addicted to the game and play it almost daily. Some teachers might seem them playing the game are are like ‘awww how cute’ not realizing this game is literally saving the world. Jazz is just happy they aren’t spending as much time on their screens playing Doomed.
