With Entropy Effect's Early Access version releasing in just a few hours, I wanted to go over some of what we've learned from trailers, reviews, and sneak peaks that hasn't come up while I was analyzing the character spotlights.

Of course, do take time to note that I am writing this before even the early access version has dropped. What I discuss here may prove inaccurate to the game we'll get tonight, or the full release we'll see in the future.

Let's just have a little fun with some last minute speculation and analysis!

The gameplay visuals that we've seen so far have looked absolutely gorgeous. I love the character models and the way that battles turn into a light show. I'm a very simple creature, I can always be pleased with some colored lights. The environments and battle effects also look great- this game has very strong art direction. I mean, look at this!

Which really surprised me, and still confuses me, when compared to the artwork they've chosen to use as the face of the game.

Yeah, unfortunately we're gonna start this post with a little negativity, but it should be the last of it, so please be patient.

Or feel free to skip this rant, if you'd like to keep your coverage positive, or just read about what we know about the gameplay itself.

But seriously. What is this key visual. This is just the Central Fiction character select artwork!

Okay, correction; it's the Central Fiction artwork for most of the characters. Poor Hibiki doesn't even get his character select artwork, he's left as the odd man out with his CF story mode battle sprite.

And then there's Es! What did they do to Es!? I don't know enough about graphic design to be able to tell what happened here, but something about her face looks like they tossed her art, and only hers, through some kind of AI filter. She's been weirdly smoothed out and she looks way paler, and more gray, than the rest of the line up. This straight up hurts to look at.

For the first few months after Entropy Effect's announcement, I thought the game was fanmade, because all the key visuals they were pumping out were (and, thus far, still are) made up of the basic official art that appears as the first images when you do a google search of the characters.

How did this get greenlit? They really couldn't afford to pay an artist? I can't even say "they couldn't afford to hire and artist" because, looking at the gameplay, clearly they did! They hired some very good artists! Why not write one more paycheck to get some cover art out of the incredible talent they already have on board?

Okay, okay, SaltFest is over. Coping and seething have been reigned in. Let's get into the fun stuff.

Trailers so far have indicated that the story of Entropy Effect is original, with no clear connection to that of the BlazBlue series- although it seems to share a significant amount of thematic elements with BlazBlue.

The story looks kind of cyberpunk, revolving around a world filled with these little robot guys. Our main character seems to be called "ACER," though whether that's their name, a descriptor, or a title, there's no way to tell- at least, for a few more hours. Sources claim that, similar to BlazBlue's story, there are themes of a looping existence, looming destruction, and fighting to ensure the very existence of a future.

Something that stood out to me in trailers, but I haven't seen spoken about anywhere, are these things called "Phenomena Fragments." They seem to showcase scenes from the lives of human figures in this gray dust-like particle effect.

If I had to make any guesses, I'd say this looks like a post-humanity story, with our ACER using the BlazBlue cast within some kind of simulation.

One thing we do know is that the word 'Entropy' in the title will be integral to the plot, as some cutscene dialogue warns of an "Entropy Shoreline" that may threaten to bring an end to the world our protagonist lives in. The robotic inhabitants of this world also seem to have some kind of god figure, though not all of them believe in it.

Those who have played the game say that Entropy works as a mechanic in the game that increases the difficulty of the run as it builds. I'm interested to see how it plays into the story...!

The full truth of the story will remain a mystery, at least for another hour, but all reviews that have spoken of it so far have been very positive.

Now let's move on to take a look at some of the gameplay!

I saw this screen a while back, with what looks to be 30 available places for characters. At first, I assumed this meant that the game would have 30 different playable characters- I mistook this for a character select screen. Keyword being mistook.

Instead, it looks like the 30 slots on this screen are to save up to 30 builds from previous runs. We see the same screen again here, with two different versions of Lambda saved on it, and the other characters in different positions than the one above. As I'll discuss later in the post, previous runs of the game will be used to pass on certain skills to your next character at the start of a new run. So this screen will probably end up looking different for all players!

The real character selection screen loops, so there's no way to know how many characters will appear in the final version. However, the company has confirmed that there will be more than the seven we'll see in the Early Access version.

The seven characters playable in early access Entropy Effect are Ragna, Noel, Hakumen, Lambda, Kokonoe, Hibiki, and Mai. The games animated trailer (which also looks great, I don't know what happened with the damn key visual) also shows us Jin and Taokaka, who will likely be made playable with the full version of the game. Considering Naoto is the face of the game's Twitter and YouTube accounts, I expect to see him in the final version as well.

As for characters appearing as enemies, Bang's NPC subordinates from BlazBlue's story mode have been shown to appear as generic enemies in certain stages, and both Arakune and Susano'o have appeared as bosses!

After selecting which character you want to play as, you're taken to the screen I mistook for character selection, where you can select two characters you've played as in previous runs, called "Evotypes" in the game. You can have your new character inherit abilities from them- the number of abilities you can inherit from your chosen characters seems to depend on how well you've been doing in your runs, as each run earns some kind of grade. This explains how we've been seeing characters using one another's abilities, such as Hibiki using Hakumen's lightning, in the trailers!

While playing, you earn points called "Potential," which can be used between stages to purchase new abilities. This seems to be where characters unlock their movesets from the BlazBlue fighting games.

There's also a second type of choice players can make as they develop their run. These are called "Tactics." Unlike the abilities unlocked by Potential that seem to be exclusive to characters unless chosen as inherited Evotypes, Tactics are universal and can be purchased for and used by any character.

In a video on his experience playing the game early, Twitch streamer Veedotme says the game rewards you for selecting Tactics you haven't used before, so consider trying out everything before you start picking favorites! Veedotme's review also clarified a lot of what I comment on in this post, so please check out his work!

Interviews claim that the game's early access version will have roughly 100 Potentials and roughly 200 Tactics to choose from, though there could be even more in the final version of the game.

It seems that the early access version will include 10 different stages, with 13 levels each, along with a few other modes of gameplay such as a challenge mode were the stage bosses become even more difficult. I've mentioned it already in other posts, but I like this 10 and 13 number theming, as both numbers have been pretty important to the BlazBlue franchise. It's another sign of serious attention to detail from the developers.

My Top 10

This list is incredibly biased by my childhood preferences and how sentimental these things are to me. I don’t want anyone to think that I am an overgrown child. I hold things that have a sentimental value to me at a higher regard than what’s “objectively” better. Production quality, budget, date of release are things that never matter when you make something that means something to someone. 

However this list is not ordered in terms of what’s my favorite because I can never pick one favorite media out of everything that’s out there.

Number 10 - Tamako Love Story

This is one of my favorite animes I watched during quarantine. I was always drawn to love stories. This movie is beautifully animated and has a very nice story and conclusion to the story introduced in the show that came before Tamako Market.

I really love this movie even though it does have it’s questionable parts, some jokes that wouldn’t be considered okay today. Regardless this movie really does mean something to me because it was one of the movies I watched before I moved to the US that introduced me to how high school was going to be. Of course that was not the case for me at all but it did help me dream and hope for a better school experience than the one I had in Turkey.

This anime is also one of my favorites because i watched it during quarantine. But it means more to me because I was in an online community that talked about the show every week a new episode came out. I would be waiting for a new episode to air so I could go online and talk about it. I made a lot of friends that way, people my age, and I really liked hearing other people’s opinions. It made the show more meaningful and real to me.

This is one of my favorite books. I loved reading it, it was tense, full of lore, and had great characters and one of the best and worst endings I’ve ever seen. I think it’s one of the only books I finished in one sitting. It was 530 pages long.

Unlike the other things on this list, Markiplier is a real person, who’s my favorite Youtuber ever. I watched him alongside Jacksepticeye when I was small, from age 9 and so on. And if I ever do stop watching him, I will have so much respect for him for being such a great person and content creator.

This movie is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. The animation is incredible, after watching videos about the process of making this movie I was so impressed. The artstyle and the color palette makes it so fun to watch. The voice acting is so good. Not to mention I have always been a Spider-Man fan, more specifically Miles Morales fan after having read the book about him.

Number 3 - Persona 5 

Persona 5 is a Japanese RPG game that is about a group of Japanese high schoolers who fight demons at night. It’s very anime-like. The game itself takes about 100 hours to complete. It took a very very long time to come out, because of Atlus’ perfectionism. Because it had mature themes I couldn’t play it when I wanted to, in seventh grade. Therefore I watched a youtube playthrough. That whole year I would watch it whenever I could. I loved the characters and the story. And I loved going online and seeing art that was made by fans about the game.

Number 2 - Life Is Strange

Life Is Strange is my favorite game of all time. If I wasn’t so sentimental about it, it wouldn’t even be on this list. This game came out a day before my 10th birthday. I begged my parents to let me buy it after seeing the trailer. And I played the first part of the game a million times. The art style, music, voice acting, and the heart of this game is so amazing. Especially the music and the visuals, it’s basically a visual dessert. It has gotten its criticisms over the years and I understand and agree with them completely but it still makes me so so happy that I can never imagine ever forgetting it.

6teen is number one on this list because unlike everything else on here, I have been actively watching this show in the last few weeks. It helped a lot as background noise when I did homework but still is so fun to watch. I first watched this show in my junior year and I have loved and rewtached it so many times since then. "Don't want you alone until we can find out more, understand?" Hopper spoke as you stood with him on the front porch of the cabin. Everyone else was slowly leaving out the front door behind him heading to their respective cars or bikes.

You looked up at him and just looking at you made Hopper's heart hurt for you. He saw all of the kids as part of his family and loved all of you like you were his own. To see one of you suffering broke his heart. He could see the dark circles under your eyes, how sickly and pale your skin appeared at times. The sunken look on your face from not eating. You were fading away in front of everyone, and it seemed that no one could stop it.

"I-I won't be," You spoke, voice a little hoarse from crying earlier. You wrapped your arms around yourself, your weight shifting from one foot to another. "I-I...my parents will be home...after work tonight."

Hopper sighed "You know what I mean, we need someone with you that knows what's going on. In case something happens again and we're able to catch it. We already have Max in the hospital still because of Vecna, we don't need another one of you kids ending up in a coma...or worse."

Your chest tightened with anxiety as Hopper stared down at you with his intense brown eyes.

"She can stay with me," Steve spoke from behind Hopper, causing the older man to turn around and face him. Steve's eyes darted between you and Hopper before settling on you. "My parents are gone again for some trip."

You hesitated before speaking, "Are you sure?"

Steve sighed, his shoulders sagging slightly. "Of course I'm sure. Wanna make sure that you're safe."

"Ok...yeah, ok." You nodded your head quickly, giving a small smile to Hopper, before walking around him and following Steve down the porch steps.

Robin stood anxiously at the passenger side door of Steve's car and gave a wary smile when the two of you walked up. You tried to give her one back but you knew that it was coming off as more of a grimace than an actual smile. The three of you got into his car before he pulled off and headed back towards town. You sat in the backseat and fidgeted with your fingers, twirling one of Eddie's rings on your finger.

"How come you didn't tell us...about the visions...the dreams?" Steve spoke up first, his eyes looking at you through the rearview mirror.

"Didn't want anyone calling me crazy," You whispered, looking down into your lap. "A-And...I liked having them. Even if I was going insane, I was able to see him."

Robin shot Steve a look, her concern and worry she was feeling were mirrored back in his eyes. Steve's hand tightened around the steering wheel of his car and once again the car fell into a tense silence.

Steve pulled up outside your house, and you quickly realized that neither of your parents were back from work. The moment Steve parked the car in your driveway, you rushed out of the car and headed right into the house. Steve and Robin followed along slowly. But when Steve started making his way toward the stairs Robin reached out and grabbed his hand. He turned back and gave her a confused look.

"Let me go and talk to her," Robin spoke. "Just...she's obviously anxious and I don't wanna crowd her too much."

Steve looked between Robin and up the stairs before nodding his head and coming back down. "I'll wait down here."

Robin sighed softly and moved to go up the stairs and towards your bedroom. She gently pushed the door open and came in as you moved about your room, gathering some clothes and other things you'd need. When you heard Robin step in, you stopped and looked at her for a second, before continuing on.

"Do you want help?" Robin spoke trying to add a little lightness to her voice. "I was thinking that maybe I can come and spend the night with you guys. Have a little sleepover?"

"Um...y-yeah, I'd like that." You nervously laughed "I feel...like everyone is waiting for me to crack. I-Is that insane?"

"What? No." Robin quickly shook her head, her hair bouncing around her face slightly in her movements. "I mean...we aren't. If that helps? We're just...worried for you."

You nodded your head and moved into your bathroom to gather some of your things before coming back into the room. You dropped your toiletry bag inside your duffle. Before you could walk away again, Robin stepped forward and gently spoke your name causing you to stop and turn to her.

"Talk to me...please...I-I'm worried, like really worried for you." Robin's blue eyes began to water slightly as she pleaded with you. "You probably think we don't notice or something but we do. We do, and we're scared for you. Even more now with this whole...thing happening whether it's Vecna or not. I know you loved Eddie..."

"Love." You interrupted, a spark flaring in your eyes. "I love Eddie. He wasn't some high school boyfriend that I made out with and just went on silly little dates. I love him. He was...he was…is my person. He will always be my person. I wanted to marry him...I-I wanted to have his babies and grow old with him." Tears start to streak down your cheeks. "No one gets it. No one understands. It's like my chest is filled with ice and isn't ever going to thaw. I feel breathless and...a-and...I want him back! I want him back with me where he was supposed to be!"

Robin spoke your name when she started to see the way your body began to shake with your cries. A fit of anger starts to show up in your face and movements.

"And I'm so pissed off at him for doing that...for going back and..." You shook your head and reached to wipe your cheeks. "God, he didn't need to play the hero! For once...I wish he would've listened and not...I wish he would've come through with us. I stopped fighting the pain. I welcome it. I welcome it cause it reminds me of him and how much I love him. But at the same time, I am so angry at him."

"So that's why you didn't say?" Robin whispered softly, "Because you wanted a piece of him?"

You pressed your lips tightly together and nodded your head. "I get a stone with his name on it in a cemetery...but he's not there. He's stuck in that place...alone. A part of me is pissed at Steve for making me leave him there. I always think...what if we brought him through? What if he was...still alive?"

"No, no...sweetie, no." Robin shook her head and moved to you in two steps, wrapping her arms around you. She held you tightly as you fell apart in her arms and gripped tightly to her.

Robin felt you sag against her as you let the pain out.

No longer alone and suffering, instead having a friend there to hold you up.

"We can all pile up in the den? Have the most room back there. Can pile all the blankets and pillows on the ground?" Steve spoke as the three of you walked into his home. "Can watch some movies, order a pizza? Pig out and just hang out?"

"Sounds good, Steve." You spoke softly, smiling up to him as you set your bags down in his living room. "Can we act like things aren't possibly falling apart tonight?"

"Sure, yeah" Robin nodded her head. She set her bags down with yours. The three of you stopped at her place to gather a bag for her to spend the night. "Maybe...just a thought. Call some of the others. The more the merrier, stronger in numbers kind of thing."

Steve shrugged his shoulders, "Sure. Why not."

Steve disappeared down the short hallways to the kitchen while you and Robin walked back toward the den. You felt a little better after basically dumping everything on her. Robin didn't ask further questions after you'd broken down in her arms. And when you came down with your things, Steve didn't ask any questions. Even though he was worried when he saw how red your eyes were.

Night fell over the Harrington home and everything was set up for a night in with friends. Dustin, Jonathan, and Nancy came to join the three of you for the night. The pizza was ordered, candy was strewn out across the coffee table and beers were cracked open. You laid out on the makeshift mattress you and Robin created with blankets and sleeping bags, with Robin and Nancy beside you.

You felt a little like your old self as you laughed with your friends watching movies. But you also weren't sure if it was the multiple beers you'd had that was making you feel light and happier or not. But one thing you knew for sure, was that you felt comforted and safe surrounded by your friends.

It started off soft almost like the wind in the distance before slowly it got louder and stronger. The house was silent for the most part when your eyes blinked awake. Beside you, Robin lay fast asleep with Nancy on the other side. Steve and Jonathan lay across the couches with Dustin in a recliner chair. For a moment you thought it was only your dreams and you'd woken yourself up. Till it started calling out for you again. It was your name, and like before, it sounded like Eddie.

Your heart lept into your throat as it started off again, sounding faint and like it was coming from the back of the house. You look around to make sure in fact that everyone was asleep. But when you heard it again and no one else moved, you decided to get up. Slowly you maneuvered around a sleeping Robin and started walking out of the den and toward the main part of the house.

There was a creepy and eerie feeling when walking around the dark and quiet house. You thought for sure you were going to turn a corner and see someone standing there. Your heart was racing rapidly in your chest to the point you thought you were going to throw it up. But the moment you came to the kitchen area and looked out toward the backyard you saw him.

He was standing just at the forest line behind the fence in the Harrington backyard. The pool lights were on so it was causing an eerie glowing blue color to light up the entire backyard. Your chest rose and fell with each rapid breath as you kept your eyes on him. Again, he was far, but you would be able to spot Eddie from anywhere.

Eddie rose a hand up, beckoning you toward him.

You hesitated for a second before your feet started toward the backyard. The sliding door opened with ease and you stepped out into the cold autumn air, your skin breaking out in goosebumps, feet padding across the cold patio. Everything around you felt hazy for a moment, almost like you were floating toward him.

"E-Eddie?" You called out. "Eddie is that you?"

Steve groaned slightly as he woke up the couch was not as comfortable as he was hoping. He sat up slowly and rubbed at his face before looking out over the den. But his heart felt like it stopped the moment he noticed that the spot you were lying in was empty.

"Fuck," He cursed as he rushed to stand from the couch.

Steve stumbled out into the hallway and saw the back sliding door open. He stood there for a second, confused when he saw you slowly walking across his backyard. Your movements were almost like you were sleepwalking. Steve rushed out the door calling your name a few times, but you never stopped and you never turned around.

"Hey! Hey, hey" Steve called out, grabbing your shoulder as he came around to face you. "What are you..."

His voice trailed off when he was able to fully notice and see your face. Steve instantly got flashbacks to standing in front of Nancy as he stood with her in the Upside Down. Her body went completely still with her eyes rolling into the back of her head, unable to reach her as she was in Vecna's hold. Steve muttered a soft 'no' as he saw the whites of your eyes rolling back with your eyelids fluttering slightly.

"Hey! Hey, Y/N! Come on! Wake up!" Steve shouted, shaking your body as he held onto you tightly. "Come on! Please!"

As Steve held you tightly in his arms, it felt like you were pushing against him trying to move forward. Steve looked down and could see your bare feet trying to step forward but his hold was keeping you in place.

"Y/N! This isn't funny...fucking wake up!" Steve screamed, his voice traveling into the home through the open sliding door.

The first person to wake up was Robin, confused by the screaming that she was hearing. She looked around and noticed both you and Steve were gone, Steve's screams becoming more and more apparent.

"Please....god! Please Y/N!" Steve's voice echoed from outside.

Robin reached over and shook Nancy, waking her the girl looking at her with wide eyes. "Come on, something is wrong with Y/N."

The commotion of Nancy and Robin rushing out of the house was enough to wake both Jonathan and Dustin. Seeing their panic made them move fast as they followed close behind. Robin froze for a second when she saw the scene in front of her. Steve in a clear panic tried to wake you up, but you were completely unresponsive. Out of the corner of his eye, Steve was able to notice the other's coming out into the backyard.

"My Walkman! It's upstairs, go and get it!" Steve shouted to them, "Find something for her. Hurry!"

"I'll know what might be her favorite, come on," Robin spoke, grabbing Jonathan's wrist and pulling him into the house.

Nancy moved toward Steve and reached to grab you, her hand wrapping around your wrist and hissing at how cold your skin felt. Her eyes widened before looking up at Steve in shock.

"She's ice cold," Nancy whispered. "How long has she been out here?"

"I don't know," Steve shook his head, his panic making his eyes water. "I-I woke up and she was like this...I-I don't...I don't know..."

"Ok, ok." Nancy nodded her head. "She's not up in the air, so that's good."

"Guys..." Dustin's voice called out from the other side of the backyard, staring out toward the forest line. "D-Do you see that?"

Nancy and Steve turned to follow Dustin's eye line to whatever he was looking at. Steve's brows pulled together in confusion for a moment till he saw it. It moved behind the trees slowly, but he was certain he saw it. And but the small gasp that left Nancy's lips, she saw it too.

"I-Is that...do you think..." Nancy spoke making sure her eyes stayed on the figure. She couldn't make any features out but it was tall enough for her to know it was a man.

"Eddie...Eddie...Eddie..." You whimpered, his name barely leaving your lips. It sounded like you were crying. But you were still in the curse-like state.

"Holy shit!" Dustin stumbled back in shock as he watched, who or whatever was there, shot up into the sky. Large wings spanned out from their back and were gone within the blink of an eye. Everyone watched in shock and amazement as it disappeared. Jonathan and Robin came rushing back out into the yard just as it flew into the hair.

"What the hell was that!?" Jonathan called out with his eyes up at the dark sky.

But before anyone could say a word about what just happened, you slowly opened your eyes and look toward Steve. Your eyes were barely opened, almost like you were sleepy. Steve sighed when he was able to see your eyes and reached to caress your face softly.

"Oh, my god..." Steve breathed with relief.

But the relief was short-lived as you collapsed into your friend's arm. Steve acted quickly and grabbed you, pulling you into his chest and holding your body. It just erupted a new round of panic within your friends.

Wishing for Han Jisung

Genre: Angst…(???) uhM not exactly fluff?? i mean you guys be the judge of it. ;) soULMATES AUUUUUUUUU, its very vague tho i didnt want to explain it bc i think it’d be pretty irrelevant since minho sorta “knew” the rumor already sOo- be sure to check the trailer i linked first. (advised)

Summary: A friendship bounded by fate, Minho just wanted what was best for Jisung and Jisung only wanted Minho to help him get through it all. Will they both finally get what they both deserve? will they find a way? or lose their way in order to find themselves again?

Note: I do not own the idea because it waSSSS VERY much inspired by the trailer up there and i just rlly adore it so support the one who made the trailer okay :D?

“The Dream Chapter: Stars.”

“.. In a world where the bright stars in the night skies were untold wishes and missing soulmates.”

‘.. is something wrong? Why did you stop.?’ Minho snapped out of his gaze as he give the other boy quick glances, from the boy back to the book he held in his hands

Minho let out a small nervous laughter as he felt a sad inward smile on his lips, he observed the feeling as a finger grazed at the scuffed pages of the book, an all too familiar beginning and ending

The same beginning Jisung fell in love with but the ending Minho feared

‘What are you smiling at?’ Jisung Looked straight up ahead, a light smile on his face as he awaited for an answer

‘Nothing I just.. we read or well I read the same story all over, don’t you get tired of it?’

‘Hearing the story from you doesn’t sound the same all the time.’ Jisung’s smile grew into a wide grin as he raised a thumb’s up gesture which made Minho chuckle through his nose.

‘I don’t read it any different though’ Minho looked to the boy beside him as he watched the boy lower his hand down to his lap to try to grab onto something, Minho figured Jisung wanted to feel the book

Minho gently posed the book closer for the boy to catch onto it, Jisung’s eyebrows furrowed with confusion for a few moments before giggling to himself

‘Silly I was asking for your hand not the book. I can touch the book any day but not yours.’

Minho flushed lightly at the small giggle the other muttered out. Something he never got used to hearing. The older boy took the book away and replaced the position where the book once was with his own hand, facing upright waiting for Jisung to feel for his hand.

‘There we go! You could have helped me get to your hand you know?’ Jisung pouted slightly as he leaned back into his seat, Minho watched with careful attention, as if a single glare could break the boy in a matter of seconds.

‘The doctor said you should try getting used to the old lifestyle you had before. I can’t help you all the time, Jisungie’ Minho gave a knowing look to the younger as if the other could see his expression

‘Holding your hand was not my old lifestyle, you never let me get close to you like ever! don’t show me that look, you know it’s true-!’

‘Mhm~ of course sungie I’ll let you believe that.’ A small smile grew on Minho’s face, a smile he wished Jisung could have seen more from him.

“The Dream Chapter: Magic.”

“When soulmates are separated by wishes…”

‘And he made us finis-‘ Minho stopped momentarily as he turned his head to see his phone’s screen light up, the device sent vibrations to the table underneath it making a low ‘buzz’ sound. Drawing the attention of the two boys.

‘Maybe finish your rant about mr. Leo later, you should see who texted, maybe it might be your mom.’ Jisung only smiled lightly as he heard a slight scuffle of the phone being slid off the wooden coffee table in front of the two boys.

Minho sighed to himself, due to the lack of conversation or lack of movement in the quiet atmosphere they were in, it seemed as if Minho sighed deeply

‘It’s Channie Hyung.’ Minho scrolled down further through his and Chan’s text conversation, finding nothing new but a singular question.

‘Heard from Jeongin there’s a rumored meteor shower. Are you coming?’

‘What did Hyung say? You seem .. unfazed’ Jisung tried his best to make jazz hands to emphasize the word ‘unfazed’ earning a small chuckle from Minho

‘Nothing too exciting to me. Hyung just said something about a meteor shower.’ Minho shrugged off the thought, Minho was never the type to be too overly fascinated over a meteor shower.

‘Minho! This is exactly like my favourite story!! You should go with them! Make a wish, maybe it will come true!’ Jisung jumped in his seat slightly as his eyes lit up, a bright smile plastered on his face

Minho raised a hand over Jisung's head, patting it gently as a way to help the boy calm his excitement, making the two giggle to themselves at Jisung’s playful gestures.

‘Why only me? Aren’t you gonna come with me?’ Minho kept a soft gaze at the boy as he saw Jisung’s smile falter a bit, down to a small smile, the excitement of Jisung died down, the younger only mindlessly played with his fingers before muttering out a small response.

‘hyung. . I won’t be able to see it anyway. Why go through the hassle of bringing me there only for me to just sit there and smile like I could see a thing?’ Jisung let out a small laugh under his breath, a sad smile plastered on the younger’s face.

This alone made Minho’s heart squeeze. Wanting to do something to help the younger would be the only wish Minho wanted to ask, though he didn't know what to ask, wishes on a star only happen in fairy tales.

‘Don’t you still want to come? You and Felix could geek out about the stars together. Better than staying home like you do everyday.’

Jisung thought for a moment, the silence made Minho’s voices in his head seem louder. Odd enough it seemed to him how Jisung wanted to say so many things, so many wishes, so many thoughts.

‘I guess.. As long as it won’t be a hassle to anyone else!’ Jisung seemed enticed with the idea of finally taking a step outside without having to worry about falling face first when he had Minho there, holding his hand.

“Blue Hour”

“... Before the sky's orange magic ends, in the gap of two worlds, I wait till the day I love you again.”

‘Is it possible?’ Minho had his head in his hands, his question made Chan sigh deeply.

‘It’s only a rumor. It's most likely that it wouldn't happen.’ Chan replied softly, which only made Minho groan loudly.

‘...are you planning to make a wish?’ Chan inquired as he looked at Minho’s figure with a small look of concern.

‘Jisung has always loved that book, ever since he got his eye surgery. Hyung, I can feel it, he really wants to see things again. I just want to help him.’ Minho looked up from his hands, before looking over to Chan, desperate for an approval somewhere, though he knew with all his heart, with or without his approval, he’s going to take that chance. For Jisung.

Chan avoided the younger’s eyes as he thought to himself. ‘And what if it does work? You’d disappear from everyone’s lives like you never existed..’

‘...’

‘When’s the meteor shower going to happen?’

‘Jisung that’s the 5th time you’ve asked me already, i’ll tell you when we get there.’

Jisung chuckled as he tightened the grip on Minho’s hand as the other guided Jisung’s steps on the concrete sidewalk. The sky turned to a soft orange tint as the blue waves in the skies were long gone, the setting sun looked ethereal alongside the border of Minho’s vision.

It felt as if the Sun was shining upon Jisung. The cool breeze gushed by making Jisung shudder, Minho unwrapped the dark blue scarf off his neck, letting go of Jisung’s hand momentarily, making Jisung stop and wonder where the warmth of Minho’s hand had gone.

Soon enough, Jisung felt a new found source of warmth being wrapped around his own neck. The faint lingering smell of Minho’s scent made the younger boy feel much safer, knowing Minho hasn’t just left the boy somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

‘Oh?’ Jisung let out a small amused gasp as the two of them began walking again.

‘Thanks.’ Through the sudden shock from the gesture, Jisung managed to mutter out a small ‘thanks’ while burying his head into the scarf.

‘Where are we heading to anyway..? It seems awfully farther than usual.’ Jisung questioned as he waddled as fast as he could to match with the older’s pace.

‘We all agreed to meet up at my favourite place.’ Minho turned his head over his shoulder to smile at the younger, turning his head back to face the path they were heading soon after he took a quick glance at the state of the other

‘Oh.. that’s cool! But are we near though? I’m getting a little tired..’

‘We’re closer than a while ago for sure.’ Minho joked, allowing the younger to scoff playfully.

‘Silly Hyungie..’ Jisung said to himself but nonetheless had a small smile on his lips.

The bright orange sky before turned into a passionate orange paint. Scattering across the sky. The moon on the opposite side as the setting sun seemed to come out ever so slowly, the border of day and night, not knowing what to call the certain time space. Saying am or pm both sounded off to describe the time now.

Something about the border of night and day felt so magical. So different, something you would never get tired of witnessing for the rest of your life. Moment by moment it seemed so endless, as if the time stopped just as the two walked down the pavement. Their shoes made light taps as each step they took, Minho kicking a few acorns and pinecones off the path every now and then.

This must be what they call the magic hour. Blue hour perhaps?

“The Chaos Chapter: Freeze”

“In time maybe I would realize, I should have thought about your feelings.”

‘Hyung! Hyung! Felix said the meteor shower’s starting soon! Let’s wish at the same time yeah?’ Jisung’s smile grew as he jumped from the car seat only to stumble a bit

‘Jisung! You should be more careful..’ Minho held Jisung close as he helped the other boy find his balance again. ‘You could have gotten hurt.’

‘Don’t worry, you’ll be there with me like you always do anyway!’ This only made the older boy feel his chest tighten at Jisung’s words. ‘Yeah Hyung will always be there with you.’

‘Hannie!’ Felix came over to offer a hand to Jisung to help the boy walk off to someplace they can talk about whatever their hearts desired

Minho watched as the two trudged their way across the field, he then looked down at his feet before shoving his hands in his pockets, ‘and what if it does work? You’re going to disappear from everyone’s lives like you never existed.’

Those words sounded through Minho’s head, making the boy hesitant about his decision. ‘What would Jisung do without me?’

Minho questioned himself, closing his eyes as he sighed deeply, only to open his eyes as he felt a hand in his shoulder,

Minho looked over to his shoulder as he saw Chan come by his side, ‘how are you feeling?’

‘I don’t know.. it’s so-.. out there, if I don’t take a shot now who knows when another meteor shower comes again. If I did take the shot and it does work.. would it be okay for me?’

Minho turned his head back to the ground as he spoke, Chan gave the boy a comforting rub on Minho’s back.

‘You do know if Jisung happened to be your soulmate.. you could come right back.’ Chan reasoned

‘How am I so sure he’s my soulmate? Even if he does forget about me. I don’t want to see him without me, I want to be part of his life like he was part of mine.’

Chan saw the sincerity in Minho’s voice, feeling absolute sorrow in his heart. Minho must have felt so much on his shoulders, this alone made Chan want to cry

Jisung and Minho meant everything to Chan, they were part of his core memories. Forgetting one of them would break his world.

Seeing the two of them make sacrifices everyday for the other only broke Chan.

Minho walked over to Jisung who sat cross-legged on the grass, Minho sat down slowly as he watched as the sky darken by the minute

‘Hyung?’

‘Hm?’ Minho hummed in response, opting to not look at Jisung for a while.

‘Why did you ask them to come here Instead of somewhere else?’ Jisung’s head tilted slightly, in a way it looked as if he was asking a question, though the boy only looked ahead

‘I thought maybe you’d want a change of scenery for a special day like this.’

‘I can’t even see it Hyung it doesn’t matter’ Jisung chuckled lightly

Minho finally tore his gaze off the setting sun, turning to Jisung. He felt the tight knot in his heart only tighten as each moment passed

‘You’ll see it soon.’

‘Silly Hyung.’

The two boys laughed at the little inside joke they set for themselves, those two words that went way back in their memories together.

Could ‘Silly hyung’ be our forever code?

Minho looked up at the sky as he saw flashing streaks of lights in the sky, flying by

‘Jisung you can make a wish now’

All of the 8 boys were quiet for a moment, wishing things on a shooting star

Wishing for good health, safety, a new console, whatever, they all wished away at that moment.

And so did Minho

Minho felt someone tug at his arm violently, causing him to open his eyes looking to the source of the force

‘What did you wish for Hyung?’ Jisung had a bright smile as he shook Minho’s arm, he assumed it was Minho’s arm

Minho laughed light-heartedly as he tried tearing off Jisung’s hands, ‘Jisung!’

As soon as he was able to get the other boy to calm down he smiled slightly at Jisung, ‘I can’t tell you, if I do, the wish won’t come true.’

Jisung gasped lightly to himself, before nodding his head rapidly

‘You’re right! If it comes true you have to tell me what the wish was okay?’

‘Mhm of course’

Minho nodded as he hummed his response.

Jeongin and Felix soon enough took Jisung with them, leaving Minho with his thoughts once more.

‘I’ll miss you Jisungie.’

‘You’re coming to my house after school right?’

‘Yes Jisung, I’ve been doing that for months now, even years if you will.’

Jisung giggled just as the boy felt the all-too familiar cushioning underneath his hand, before dropping down onto his bed.

Minho looked down at the boy, his tongue wanted to say something but his mouth stayed put.

‘Do you have something to say to me? I can feel you looking at me.’ Jisung retorted with a laugh made out of nothing but of play

‘Do you like not being able to see anything?’

Jisung’s smile faltered as soon as he heard the question, he thought for a while before flashing a small grin, ‘Hmm.. no I don’t like it, but I don’t mind it.’

‘Don’t you want to do something about it?’

‘No. It’s fine, really. I have you and my friends here with me. I know I can cope with this.’ Jisung slowly tried to lay down, his head hit his pillow as he tried to grope around for his blanket

Minho, seeing Jisung’s struggle, soon enough helped him, gently pulling the duvet to Jisung’s chest.

‘What if Hyung said he can find a way for you to see again?’ Minho asked lowly, after fixing Jisung’s blanket

Minho pulled a chair from behind him as he sat down, facing Jisung’s bed awaiting for an answer

‘I’d be happy, so I can finally see Hyung again, then we can visit your favorite place and I won’t say ‘I can’t see anything’ anymore.’ Jisung said with a soft voice, a voice just above a whisper

Jisung faced his ceiling as he clasped his hands together, resting his hands in top of his stomach

Minho eyed Jisung’s hands before slowly reaching over to untangle them, and intertwine his own hand with the other boy’s hand.

The quiet atmosphere almost seemed as if it was suffocating Minho, he was so scared he could disappear right then and there

‘Jisungie.. tomorrow, if I come late promise me.. you- you’ll wait for me right?’

Jisung nodded his head slightly against his pillow, ‘of course.’

‘Even if I have to come the next day.’

‘Are-.. Are you going to leave me?’ Jisung furrowed his brows at Minho’s statement

‘No, I’ll always be here remember? I’m just saying since.. I have dance practice tomorrow.’

‘Oh..’ Minho laughed at Jisung’s reaction, and as soon as Minho’s laugh died down, he rubbed his thumb behind Jisung’s hand, lightly squeezing the other’s hand in a way of affection and reassurance.

‘But.. if Hyung doesn’t come tomorrow, just promise me that you won’t call anyone and ask about me okay?’

‘Why not?’

‘I don’t want them calling my phone afterwards, you know I get annoyed easily.’

Jisung scoffed playfully as Minho chuckled through his nose.

Jisung felt as if Minho was being distant at the moment, he felt so.. worried inside, Jisung then tightened his hold onto Minho’s hand

‘Hyung.. you’ll be here right? After school? Or even if you go home right after you promise to come the next day right?’ Jisung muttered out slowly, his throat seemed to feel dry, ‘you’ll be right here by my side right?’

‘Yeah..’ Minho nodded, holding their entwined hands with his other hand, giving the boy one last smile, ‘of course, Jisungie.’

‘I’ll be right here by your side.’

‘Promise?’ Jisung lifted his other hand holding out his pinky for the other to take

Minho removed his other hand that held their hands together to intertwine their pinkies, he shook it lightly as a way to show the bond can not be broken so easily.

‘Promise.’

Amphibia: Calamity War - Fan Trailer

Alright folks, I typed my new version of my fanmade trailer since the last time that I didn't know what's going to happen in the very first episodes of season three premiere. So I decided to update from draft to newer one. Here goes...

Took a leap through a box super weird to a swamp where frogs talk.

Now it’s done got no plans just my luck I’ll do the best that I can.

Making friends and enemies, it’s weird but hey it’s grown on me!

“I will rule not only this world, but all worlds!”

“You’ll never get away with this!”

“I give you this! I gave you everything!”

“We’re right with you Anne, til the end.”

“Me and Grime will hold him! Just go!”

“I just….. didn’t want to be alone.”

“No, it can’t be?!"

“Polly, get the box! Get the box!”

“Give him back. Give. Him. BACK!!!"

“I’m sorry……for everything.”

“MARCY!!!”

Marcy fell unconscious as the box fell when it sends Anne and the Plantars back home, but what they didn’t expect to see some cartoon characters standing in front of them and one of them recognize her face.

“Anne?”

“Mickey?”

It’s no big deal, yeah no big deal!

Anne give Mickey a hug by with tears flowing after the whole event. Then we switched to the part where Mickey and friends brought Anne and the Plantars back home to reunite with her family. Meanwhile in Newtopia castle, robot frogs are guarding and scanning for intruders. King Andrias summoned one frog robot to attack Anne and her family. The next part where we see Sasha tossed out from the window by Grime as they escape from the castle. Then it shows General Yunaan and Lady Olivia are standing in front of the huge door. Anne is driving a food truck with Sprig, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.

Find a way to start again, brush off the dirt and make some friends!

Seeing Lan Zhan For The First Time

Ever since I saw the fanmade romcom trailer of the show, I can’t get the image of bridegroom Lan Wangji out of my head. His entry is so elegant and his presence throughout the show truly ethereal. (Wei Ying, you’re not even trying to hide those heart eyes. We get it! You’re impressed.)

Lan Zhan’s Character Growth

We only remember Lan Zhan as the guy who reserved all his emotions and smiles for Wei Ying, so rewatching the rigid, inflexible person he used to be kind of drives me crazy. Lan Zhan before he met Wei Ying started his journey as a lone, icy, untouchable snow-capped peak and by letting himself love and be loved by Wei Ying in return, the person he becomes in the end is like a warm, summery mountain shining with life and no trace of the glaciers that thawed over. His character evolution is no joke and it is only because Wei Ying’s companionship makes him more human and allows him to be the best version of himself. Lan Zhan’s arc is one of the best things in the show and the most rewarding reason to watch it.

But Lan Zhan, What About The 9pm Curfew? 

Notice how Lan Zhan is up late at night waiting for Wei Ying, like a Good Obedient Boy from the Lan clan ready to catch a lawbreaker red-handed. Are we sure he has not simply mistaken his positive feelings for annoyance and found a way to spend more time with Wei Ying?

Wei Ying, my bro, I think you might be the moon in this case.

Flirting With The Law Enforcer? That’s One More Violation! 

It’s cute to watch their dynamics in the beginning, Wei Ying is already so familiar with Lan Zhan, tries to share his drink with him, teases him for the first of many times. And Lan Zhan just looks like “?????? Are you flirting with the law enforcer?! That is yet another violation of the Lan clan rules!”

Wei Ying coquettishly pushes Lan Zhan's sword into its sheath and the chase that comes next is the beginning of something monumental and exciting. 

(I understand preserving the original meaning is difficult in English translation but they really had Wei Ying call Lan Zhan inflexible only to follow it up with a beautifully choreographed fight sequence? Really?)

Wangxian’s First Meeting Is Romantic Cinematography At Its Finest

This scene right here is in my opinion, the most romantic scene to ever exist in all of fiction. If anyone tries to argue that Lan Zhan and Wei Ying are best bros, show them this scene. There is no hetero explanation for why it is so romantically shot. We have seen it countless times in fairytales. This is unmistakably the meeting of two people destined to be in love forever. It stole my breath the first time I saw it, and has done every time since. Like legit, it needs to be on top of those lists that boast the most iconic meetings in romantic history and taught in academic institutions worldwide.

First of all, a moonlit first meeting is enough to immortalize a story in our memory as being inherently romantic. But Wangxian are so effortlessly and picturesquely sword fighting (or should I say dancing?) on the rooftops, hair and clothes gently swaying to the tune of WuJi and thanks to the slow-motion closeups that make them glow like a live painting under the moonlight. 

(And surely I was not the only one who heard this random bell ringing at night and got reminded of wedding bells or the film ‘Your Name’? Lol!)  

We see that neither of them has the upper hand in the fight. This is important because it establishes they were born to be each other’s equals on the battlefield, something Zewu Jun points out later. (Just one of the many soulmate things Wangxian share.) I have no doubt Lan Zhan is freaking out wondering, who the fuck is this guy? How can he match my every strike and step without even uncapping his sword? 

In these above shots, there is a beautiful, unmissable symmetry in the way they are framed that drives it home that they are two halves of the same whole; their paths will be bound together, their perspectives will come to reflect each other. They are one and the same. The way they fight is also kind of intimate and very poetic. The super romantic backdrop and their placement shows that they are in perfect tandem and their chemistry is loud and luminous from the first time they meet. 

There is nothing straight about this scene. Not even the shot angle. Look! 

There is also something quite god-like and celestial about their meeting, like we are witnessing two prophesied immortal beings whose encounter is going to change the fate of the universe. And does it not, indeed?

I think I heard the moon longingly sigh in this scene because she felt so single. Honestly, understandable. It’s so maddening how two soulmates meeting for the first time can turn out to be this iconic, beautiful, brilliant, breathtaking and every other word you can think of. (We’re lucky Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan are used to dancing, the fight sequences are all so graceful. *chef’s kiss*)

I feel like this one scene reduced every straight romance I’ve ever seen to ashes. I’m honestly curious, can anyone outdo this in the future, gay or not? It has become The Standard for first meetings. I envy the talented, creative minds that envisioned and executed it.

TL;DR : The whole scene is drenched with a romantic field of vision meant specifically for the audience to swoon over.

“Lan Zhan!”

Wei Ying drops one of his two precious pots of Emperor’s Smile because Lan Zhan attacked them. Most people would just be mad in this situation but it's the first time Wei Ying calls him "Lan Zhan”. I wonder what led Wei Ying to have such an informality with Lan Zhan, who didn't consider him his friend until much later. It could be that it’s just who they are, two people with opposite personalities. But we don't see Wei Ying exhibit this closeness with strangers and yet he's whining Lan Zhan's name in that classic style of his, right from the first night they meet. Adorable! (Lan Zhan who owes him two bottles of Emperor’s Smile for breaking them spends the rest of his life buying them for Wei Ying.. In case you needed a reason to cry.)

Breaking The Rules & Breaking The Barriers To Lan Zhan’s Heart

Wei Ying actively criticizes the Lan clan’s rules and finds their teaching unreasonable. He thinks drinking Emperor’s Smile when he’s sitting on the roof technically doesn’t count as being “inside” the Cloud Recesses where alcohol is banned. A small detail but it shows Wei Ying’s gift of seeing through the grey areas in morality. It is a trait that ultimately influences Lan Zhan to shed the hard and fast ideas of orthodoxy he was raised on and share Wei Ying’s quest for justice. This makes both of them the only people inside the world of The Untamed who are able to see the deep-seated problems in the existing system and question them. Their love story is inextricably tied with rewriting the laws of their world and if that does not make The Untamed the most revolutionary romance to ever exist, I don’t know what does. 

Lan Zhan Really Just Cares A Lot

Turns out Lan Zhan didn’t let the Yunmeng Jiang clan stay out in the dark after all. Love how he’s Gay Gripping his sword in panic and backing away from Wei Ying because he doesn't want him to know he's a good person whose heart is in the right place. You know, because that's a horrible reputation for his tsundere persona to have. Zewu Jun takes one for the team and blows his cover, which becomes a common occurrence in the show. Wei Ying is also quick to apologize to him like, “I had a good feeling about you!” when we’ve seen he rarely does that with disciples from other clans. 

President In Action

The conversation between Lan Zhan and Zewu Jun needs no analysis and the latter’s triumphant smirk in the end when Lan Zhan walks off is all the evidence you need that He Knows What’s Up. I love how Zewu Jun probably sits around like, "I have to personally do something or my dumbass brother is going to spend his whole life alone, when he's clearly met his soulmate and is too blind to admit it." Thank you, President of the Wangxian club. We do not deserve you.

What Did Wei Ying Mean?

Wei Ying says all the female suitors from all the clans admire Lan Zhan without knowing how cold and rigid he really is, and he doesn’t complete his sentence because Lan Zhan uses the silencing charm on him. What did he mean by this? What were you going to do, Wei Ying?! 

Episode 3 gives us insight into the inception of their romance and we see every moment since the beginning has been tailor-made to tell the audience this is going to be a love story set against fantasy-driven, action-packed odds in ancient China.

You know what I’ve noticed? We haven’t had a single walker death, have we?

Marlon killed Brody, AJ killed Marlon, Lilly killed Mitch [😭], Clementine killed Abel, Louis killed Dorian, AJ killed Lilly/ Lilly killed James, we’ve blown up who knows how many delta soldiers but…

No one has died from a walker bite or walker attack, and we haven’t had to deal with a bite victim in our group.

Which… is weird, right? Just me? All three of the previous seasons had ‘em.

S1: Girl in the motor-in, Doug/Carly, Duck, Brie, Lee

S2: Pete, Sarita, Carlos, Nick, Luke, Sarah

S3: In all of the endings, Kate, David, and Gabe [and Javi, if you count the fake-out ending] can be killed by a bite/turned into a walker. [Also Conrad can die to the walkers in one of his many deaths]

So… s4 gives us?? A bitten Abel?? But it’s determinate and he lives anyway?

This just kind of makes me think that we might get one in episode 4 since we haven’t had to deal with it. Then again, they might just be going for the whole “humanity is more dangerous than walkers” thing, but for the sake of argument…

I don’t think Clementine will be canonically bitten like Lee was. By that I mean she may get bitten if that’s what prompts one of the endings. Same thing with AJ.

I’m thinking that one of the kids might get bit, and I’ve narrowed it down to Tenn and Minerva.

Tenn because I feel he would be the most tragic and it could really show us what kind of AJ we’ve created.

Maybe AJ’s super cold and just… shoots Tenn before anyone gets to say goodbye because “what do you do when someone’s bit?” and it doesn’t really affect him all that much even tho he considered him his friend.

Or, maybe AJ’s legitimately heartbroken that his friend is bitten and doesn’t want him to die and we see our kid just… cry over his friend.  

Or maybe there’s a happy [?] medium where AJ’s upset but he knows what has to be done, so he says his goodbyes, lets everyone say their goodbyes, and then whoever [most likely Clem] puts him down. 

As for Minerva, if she survives the explosion, might get bit as some sort of “redemption” by saving Tenn or whoever.  

Lilly / James Endings

So, I’ve already discussed the whole Lilly vs James choice in previous asks so I’ll just summarize my best guess as to what they may do as far as the outcomes. I think with this choice, we may be choosing our final antagonist.

[spare Lilly] I doubt they’ll just kill her off in the explosion because she’s fucking Lilly and the devs said they’re straying away from choice payoffs like that.

I think she’ll be “missing” as in when we wake up we may not see her [unless she is there and attacks us and we have to escape her again] and she’ll gather up any delta survivors to get revenge and possibly take AJ [assuming they’re going for the s1 parallel of kidnapping a child] and then we’ll have a final battle with her.

I’m hoping it’s by the barn so that we can bash her brains in with the salt lick like WHY ELSE WOULD THEY SHOW IT TO US?? 

Lemme look her in the eye while Clementine holds the salt lick over her head and say, 

“Larry bled like a fucking pig, and so will you.”

Fuck Lilly jfc

[shoot Lilly] Again, I doubt if we save James that he’ll be killed off during the explosion, but we’ll get separated. 

after an intense escape scene and I think we’ll meet up with some of the group [Louis/Violet, Aasim, Omar] but no one else is accounted for but there are too many walkers drawn in from the explosion to stay put and look.

Clementine might send everyone back to the school while she searches for AJ because I don’t see her just assuming that he made it back without looking. But, when we get to the school be to find that [hopefully] everyone made it back okay [more or less] except AJ and James.

Which prompts a “Oh shit, we have to go find them!”

Whether they’ll go through with the ‘kidnapping’ part of it, I dunno, since it’s been pointed out that James doesn’t really seem like the type unless it was for some extremely drastic measure.

We might have to justify our actions to him and explain why we told AJ to shoot. 

I said before that part of the choice [James vs Lilly] might be to let James die a friend and thinking AJ’s saved, or prevent his death and watch him turn on us. But, I dunno. Either way’s heartbreaking.

AJ + What becomes of him

I agree with a lot of people when they say that we won’t be influencing his choices next episode and he’ll make his own decisions based on what we taught him. 

This is a little worrying because I’m not the greatest parent… after all, I shoved Abel through the window, let him attack Dorian, told him to shoot Lilly…

But! I didn’t kill the walker couple [what good that’ll do I dunno], I let him know that killing Marlon was wrong, didn’t give him dibs on Abel, I didn’t torture Abel…

I’m just eager to see just how much it’ll affect how my choices shape him because I don’t want to it be just one or two things.

Deaths

Honestly, I think it’d be cool if everyone was determinate. 

Imagine the combo of endings that could produce.

I’d hate it because I don’t want my kids to die, but at least if they were all determinate then I could possibly save them all, right?

Unless we get an A vs B choice again in which case PLEASE DON’T

I keep thinking of scary combos like

[god looking at these makes me think of those fanmade ending screens that are all over reddit and I don’t like it]

I know that if they throw ANY of these at me I’ll just be stuck there, staring at the pause screen gripping my controller to the point of breaking it and trying to not scream. 

Also, I list those ones because I don’t think we’ll have another [save Louis] vs. [save Violet] choice because at this point it’s a little pointless? It’s a shitty choice for the player to make but… it’d be easy, too? Depending on which route you’re doing? Like, I’m not going to pick Louis for all three episodes then suddenly be like “Nah, gotta save Vi” because??? 

I think my choice is pretty obvious at this point, game, c’mon. 

But, if that’s not the case, I’ll list who’s most likely to die down to least likely:

Top 10 Klaroline Fandom Moments

This is it guys. Tomorrow is the beginning of the end. With Klaroline coming back tomorrow, I’ve been thinking a lot about the past 7 years and all the great memories I’ve made in the Klaroline fandom and I thought it’d be cool to flashback to some of my favorite moments this fandom has been though starting with number 10 and counting all the way back to number 1...

10. The Originals

More like the announcement of The Originals. Ever since they were introduced, fans (especially Klaroline fans) had been begging for the Original fam to get the spotlight they deserved. When it was first announced that the Originals were getting a spin off, I was the first person to say how excited I was because 1) Klaus is my favorite and 2) it opened the gate to making Klaroline more that just a supporting ship. Many other people in the fandom agreed. There were so many fanmade trailers and manips that kept the hope for Klaroline alive even though the writers stupidly tried to keep them apart for 4 seasons. I mean who can forget the iconic fanmade Klaroline/Originals poster that made it in an actual magazine! 

9. Comic Con 2016

Probably the most unexpected attack of Klaroline feels I’ve ever had in my life was in 2016 when Candice and Joseph were at the same SDCC party together much less ENDED UP IN 3 DIFFERENT PICTURES TOGETHER. No one was expecting Jodice to interact because... well... the cast hates giving us what we want. But out of the blue we were graced with these horribly lighted and Persia filled pictures that to any other fandom may have been nothing but to us it was HUGE that they were even breathing the same air!

8. The Meltdown Post 5x11

Watching 5x11 live for the first time is still one of the best times I’ve had watching TV in my entire life. Seeing Klaus and Caroline kiss after YEARS of waiting was the most rewarding experience (even though they havent breathed the same air since). I remember so vividly watching that scene and screaming and crying and jumping up and down and I don’t think and moment of TV will ever give me that level of excitement ever again. But to make it better, I loved seeing everyone else in the fandom react to it as well. Knowing that after all the years of waiting that we all rejoiced together at the same time was such a cool thing to experience that I’ll cherish forever. 

7. British Acting Lessons

This video was iconic and legendary in the Golden Age of the Klaroline fandom. Oh how I wished they would have made a part 2...

6. TVD endgame

Going into the TVD series finale the only hint from Julie about Klaroline is that we would “sort of” see them which was easily taken to mean “you’re gonna be let down” because we had been let down so many times that it was almost second nature... BUT BOY WERE WE WRONG. Seeing that Caroline’s last scene on TVD being her smiling at a letter from Klaus with Alaric saying “that’s the beginning of another story” was more than I could have even dreamed of. With no promise that The Originals would even be picked up for season 5 or that Candice would even crossover at all, in that time, the entire Klaroline fandom took that ending as a sign of endgame in the future. The promise that Klaus was still waiting “however long it takes” and that their story was only just beginning wasn’t a “and they lived happily ever after” ending but it was pretty dang close which was more than I could have ever imagined. 

5. Shooting the end of Season 4

Along with the British Acting Lessons, Joseph and Candice made it so clear that big things were in store for Klaroline. Knowing that they were shooting 4x13, 4x14, 4x17, 4x18, 4x19, and 4x23, the fandom was in full swing and we were THRIVING. Seeing all the BTS photos and watching slowly to see how all this new Klaroline content would unfold was such a thrill. There was always new content from the creators and the fans and it really was the most fun time to be in the Klaroline fandom. Of course with it all ending with Klaus intending to be her last love and waiting for her however long it takes, that was more than enough to sustain us throughout the Great Klaroline Drought that is finally almost over. 

4. The Summer Before S4

This time was so especially important to me and I am so thankful for it because this was the time when I hastily binge watched all of TVD SPECIFICALLY for Klaroline. Before I even watched the show, I can say I shipped Klaroline. If it weren’t for this amazing fandom with their fan vids I never would have known about this beautiful ship or even watched the show at all. I remember watching a Klaroline vid and thinking “wow they have so much chemistry and seem like something I would totally ship I need to check out this show.” I without a doubt watched this entire show solely to see Klaus and Caroline interact and I still do to this day. I remember waking up at like 5 in the morning one day in August before school just because I had finally gotten to the episode where Klaus appeared and I’ve been hooked to that man ever since. Though I didnt join the fandom until season 4, I am so thankful for the fans that came before me because it was THEM that led me to Klaroline and have absolutely changed my life. 

3. The Date

Finding out that Klaus was gonna be Caroline’s date to Miss Mystic Fall put the entire KC fandom into a frenzy. I remember everyone speculating about what would happen and while most of our headcanons never happened, those scenes are still some of my absolute favorites. During that time the whole fandom was so positive about Klaroline becoming canon and everything was going our way and it was so much fun. We’ve been though so many hard times as Klaroline fans but the weeks before 4x07 were definitely some of the greatest times in the Klaroline fandom when things were actually going our way. But I’ll never forgive Plec for cutting out that scene where apparently THEY KISSED and all we got from it was that iconic still....

2. Shooting The Originals 5x13

Knowing that Klaroline was gonna be in more scenes together and SEEING THEM ACTUALLY FILM THEM are two completely different things. I remember when the videos from them filming in NOLA were released that I actually couldnt believe it. It had been so rare to see Candice and Joseph in the same picture together and have it not be a manip but to have actual footage of them playing Klaus and Caroline in the TO finale was such a triumphant moment. Knowing that no matter what the final episode of The Originals will end with Caroline in NOLA just like Klaus said he wanted in the pilot was such a great way to bring things full circle. Seeing the videos it was like I could feel the fandom rising from the ashes. I’m so thankful that the KC fandom never once gave up on them but we finally are getting the respect we deserve. 

1. The Australian Promo

If you’ve been in this fandom for a while you already know how ICONIC this promo was. Before 5x11 aired, all we knew was that Klaus was making an appearance and that he was gonna have at least one scene with Caroline. THEN the Australian promo for 5x11 dropped and THE FANDOM WENT NUTS. Before the promo a couple optimists guessed that maybe Klaus and Caroline would finally kiss but after how horrible the writers of TVD and TO had been to us since The Originals started, most of the fandom was super doubtful. But about 24 hours before the episode actually aired the promo dropped in Australia what confirmed that in fact Klaroline was gonna kiss. Usually I hate spoilers but having a 24 hour notice before your OTP officially becomes canon gave way to the best experience in fandom I’ve ever had in my life. The entire fandom was so HYPE and we were all 100% prepared for the Klaroline kiss we had been waiting YEARS for (lol we WEREN’T ready for the hot Klarosex though). Seeing that tiny glimpse of Klaus and Caroline leaning into kiss in that iconic gif from the promo still gives me chills. I have never seen a fandom so excited and hyped as I did in those short 24 hours and honestly it was my favorite experience as a Klaroliner.

It’s been a great 6 years being part of this fandom. I can’t wait to see how it all will end. Let me know some of your favorite Klaroline fandom memories and why! ONCE UPON A SONG...

So I’m clearly not over the finale and I’m not gonna be okay any time soon (because we have to say goodbye to our favorite characters and I DON’T KNOW HOW TO SAY GOODBYE). That said, I was thinking about all the things I discovered thanks to Once and I realized most of the songs in my “longtime favorites” playlist I found because of this stupid, life-wreaking TV show. So, just to keep them all together, I’m going to write down some of the titles of my favorite songs and how I found/fell in love with them (I already knew some of them, others I didn’t know exsisted). This is also a great occasion for a rewatch of all the fan mades through which I found some of these and to thank all of their amazing authors. So, here it goes:

Wonderwall - Oasis (I already knew this one, but it became my absolute favorite song of all time. I love it, I love the music, the lyrics and it reminds me of a very happy time in my life. I fell in love with it thanks to The Lost Boys  by niniadepapa, the first Captain Swan fic I’ve ever read. Frontman!Killian and Actress!Emma falling in love. Check this work of art now if you haven’t read it yet!)

Shattered - Trading Yesterday (strictly reminds me of Killian, this song speaks to my soul. Probably because I think about this this video every time I listen to it. All the season 3 Hook feelings T.T)

You found me - The Fray (I already loved The Fray, this song was just a confirm. Found this one out thanks to this video here)

Human - Christina Perri (oh, Christina. God bless her precious soul. This song never fails to make me emotional and when I listen to it as the music for this video here, I lose it. All of our characters, their pain, their weaknesses. They are fairytales but they couldn’t really be more Human)

God this episode destroyed my heart. Let’s go on.

We might fall - Ryan Star (want to cry on a quiet summer night on the gentle chords of a sad song? Listen to this damn thing. LISTEN TO THIS LITTLE SHIT WHILE IT WREAKS ALL THE SELF CONTROL YOU HAVE AND MAKES YOU BURST INTO TEARS. First time I listened to it, it was in this tribute to Neal Cassidy. I never loved this character, never accepted what he did to Emma. But I do miss him from time to time watching this show. He had a great potential, definitely deserved better and MRJ is a precious cinnamon bun that has to be protected)

Already gone - Sleeping at Last (this is a cover of the original song by Kally Clarkson, and ,thanks to this heartbreaking video of my babies suffering for one another, I discovered Sleeping at Last and fell in love with all of Ryan’s songs and covers. Really, go listen to some of them if you don’t know Sleeping at Last, then come back and cry with me :)

Wicked game - Chris Isaak (one of my all time favorites to play on the piano. In this video there’s an amazing cover of the song by Marie Digby. In love with this as well)

Wherever you will go - Charlene Soraia (already knew the original version by The Calling, but this version here is my undoing. Found this thanks to this CS video, which is one of my favorites of the two of them. The lyrics represent everything they are: never giving up on each other, always there for one another without scaring the other off or pushing them too hard. Ah, True Love. It became one of the songs I so jealously keep in my heart. It was also my first dance with my dad at my eighteenth birthday, btw. So yeah, I’m a huge fucking mess over this)

It is you (I have loved) - Dana Glover (loved Shreck, loved the video, loved the “Don’t you know, Emma? It’s you” moment)

Above and Beyond - Audiomachine (No lyrics, just music. Perfect background music to CS’s journey home and one of the best musical compositions around. Bravo)

The Words - Christina Perri (I mean, do I need to say more? Again, bless Christina and her talented soul. When this song came out, my whole world was shaken, and not just because Colin was in every single scene of the damn video but also BECAUSE of the lyrics. “The scariest part is letting go”, how true)

Animals - Neon Trees (one of the best videos with the funniest moments of the cast at cons and in bloopers. I’ll never really get over how blessed we were, I don’t want to say goodbye to them. Sigh.)

Wings - Birdy (I once saw a fanmade trailer about season 3b, and it was so beautiful I cried. You get it, I am an emotional one. But when it comes to this show I can’t control myself, especially when I see something so well made it touches my chords. Unfortunately, I can’t find this video anymore… I just remember it being about Emma’s faith and belief in her parents and her family. Begged my singing teacher to make me record this and sing this, how pathetic.)

Timeless - Airbone Toxic Event (again, do I need to say more? Their love really is timeless, no matter how or when their story ends)

Never let me go - Florence + the Machine (check this beautiful CS AU video, one of my favorite Neverlan tropes)

Lovesong - Adele (during an interview, Colin mentioned that Hook would sing  a Love song to Emma if he ever got the chance. Some people started sharing this one, I think it just fits)

I've sort of lost track of holidays and festives since the year began, but today's Good Friday!!! Meaning it's a good friday to post a Random News Digest as well... Ahahahaha!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The quest for young Albus Dumbledore has come to a close. Warner Bros has entrusted the iconic role to... none other than Jude Law. Which shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the Brit actor's long history with the studio, from the "Sherlock Holmes" series to the upcoming "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword". Personally, I still think Rafe Spall would make a better Albus, but perhaps the movie needs more of Law's... star power considering the first "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" wasn't exactly the big "Harry Potter" hit that WB expected. Beside, Law also suits the "younger man and quite a troubled man" criteria better than Spall.

The down side of this casting, is the general assumption that the sequels will put more focus on the bromancing frenemy between his Dumbledore and Johnny Depp's Gellert Grindelwald. It has been hinted that the two characters have shared a rather 'close' relationship in the past, perhaps even something that was somewhat romantically inclined. Okay, let me correct that. J.K. Rowling has said it herself that "Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was.", so it's more than just mere speculation. Thus, it IS going to be interesting to see how Law and Depp come to blow with one another, which is what many "Harry Potter" fans should be dying to see. Then why do I call it a 'down side'? Because at least for me, it's Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander...'s magical ZOO that was the prime highlight of the first movie. Those creatures, with the chemistry between Alison Sudol's Queenie and Dan Fogler's Jacob Kowalski coming hot in second place, are the part that I found to be delightful. These three characters, alongside Katherine Waterston's Tina, have all been confirmed to return, so one would easily wonder how these New Yorkers are going to fit in the story that takes place in Paris and Watford, England. Admittedly, Tina and even Newt himself, were pretty dull and boring for a lead. But it would feel like such a crime if they are put aside to the corner, as the spotlight is stolen by Law and Depp instead.

It is currently unclear whether the next movie will once again feature two separate storylines going in parallel with one another. But that's exactly what's currently generating the concern for some people. David Yates will be returning to helm the second movie, so let's just hope he'll find a way to make the sequel feel more... balanced and evenly focused. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2", a tentative title for now because I'm not even sure if it will be accurate to the story anymore, is set to be released next year on November 16th, 2018. That's when we'll see whether this will turn out to be a magical Brokeback Mountain between Law and Depp, or another adventure of Newt & Co.

DC Films

Pray tell, why are we getting another poster for "The Justice League"? The popular notion is that WB is launching one as preparation for that last trailer debuting in theaters alongside "The Fate of the Furious". Yet when you look at the timing, somehow it just feels rather inappropriate. I mean, why not release it alongside those character posters and teasers last month? Can't remember? Those ones that oddly arrived on the same week to Spider-Man's posters and trailer. Sounds dejavu? Because Marvel Studios had just debuted the trailer and first poster for their upcoming Thor movie as well! You know, the one that will premiere just two weeks ahead of "The Justice League"!

Aaaah yes, THAT is the reason why calling this as coincidence is hokey at best. As if WB is trying to convince audience that... yes, despite the muted colors and the joyless forced humor, their grand ensemble movie is as colorful and fun. Now I can't help but wonder if this is a direct answer to that hillarious FANMADE video that's casually making fun of Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne and Gal Gadot's Diana Prince... LOL. Anyway, my point is... hogging on another movie's spotlight is acceptable, since many studios have been doing this since the Hollywood's dinosaur age. But I do really wish WB would stop being so dickish, while at the same time, being utterly obvious about it. Stop positioning themselves as the angry envious rival, subtly but blatantly creating flame wars with Marvel, because it does them no good. Acting all offensive in a non-existent competition is the wrong thing to do, because it makes them look BAD instead!

"Wonder Woman" also made news because the movie is said to be tracking for a $83 million opening. Eventhough it is unfortunately lower than DC Films' previous two movies, it sure didn't stop fans from turning into bragging mode and stuff. After all, that's how the internet works, and sorry to say, precisely the way 'DC fans' tend to overreact with things both good and bad. Meanwhile, another outlandish rumor hit the internet, claiming that WB will release not one, not two, but FOUR Batman-related movies in the year 2019. Yeah, judging from the studio's track record on announcing DC projects, only to end up losing directors or getting back to first page rewrites... over and over again, that sounds too good to be true, right? Despite all that, just imagine the headlines and numerous thinkpieces immediately run by various entertainment, and fansites. Well, at least until WB's producer Jon Berg and DC Entertainment's President Geoff Johns themselves shot down this report in their own hillarious way. I don't know about you, but THAT is what I call FUN.

Last but not least, Dolph Lundgren has joined "Aquaman" to play merman(?) King Nereus of Xebel. Making him the third antagonist after Patrick Wilson's Orm, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta. That's not counting the likelihood of Willem Dafoe's Dr. Vulko turning evil, of course. Director James Wan has confirmed this casting himself, and Lundgren will likely join production when it begins on May in Hawaii. Although having the former Punisher sounds good, once again, this casting felt a little toooo obvious to be a coincidence. After all, we just got a hot rumor surrounding Sylvester Stallone's important role in the upcoming Guardians movie. And when you start remembering that Lundgren used to play as Stallone's rival/opponent in "Rocky IV" before teaming up in "The Expendables" series? Aaaaaah, it's another act of spite, right there! Oh WB, when will you ever learn...

Transformers

Have you seen the latest trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight"? I certainly haven't, because I'm totally not looking forward to see this movie anytime soon. But I heard it was great, and well... probably the best one this movie has released so far. Honestly, after the lackluster tragedy that was "Transformers: Age of Extinction", I never would've thought that we're going to get a 5th movie of this winding-down franchise. And this is just the beginning of another array of sequels, because director Michael Bay himself has explicitly stated to MTV that... "There are fourteen stories written. And there’s good stuff. So, I would like to do one of them, though.". 14? SERIOUSLY?!! Dang it, for a guy who thought "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" was meant to be the last, this statement felt like an offensive mockery. Anyways, this 5th movie is set to arrive on June 23rd. I'm personally more curious about whether it will rake as much money as the previous one. Somehow I suspect it won't, but general audience seems to love this franchise... so, we'll see.

SONY Marvel Universe

SONY Pictures has found its Miles Morales! What for? That animated "Spider-Man" movie that is set to be released on December 21st, 2018. Yes, the same date that recently has been occupied by "Aquaman". The young actor privileged to lend his voice for the animated Miles is none other than Shameik Moore. Fans might argue that Morales is half black, half latino in the comics, whereas Moore is not. But this is an animated movie, which only requires his voice, so I don't think it should be a problem. The actor himself shot to fame following his debut in Rick Famuyiwa's "Dope", later starred in the Netflix drama "The Get Down", and will next be seen in "The Pretenders". Speaking of "Dope", who would've guessed that it was such a good movie, eh? I mean, most of its main cast has gotten big comic book roles now. Tony Revolori is soon to be seen as Flash in MCU's Spider-Man. Kiersey Clemons is Iris West in DC's who-knows-when Flash movie, a feature that was almost directed by Famuyiwa. Zoe Kravitz was in "X-Men: First Class". And now Moore. Should we expect anyone else from that movie?

Aside from Moore, another cast who has joined the movie is Liev Schreiber. Schreiber portrayed Sabretooth in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", and is currently well known as the lead actor of "Ray Donovan". According to the same report, Schreiber will be voicing the movie's antagonist/supervillain, though his character is being kept a secret for now. If I didn't know better, I have a feeling that Schreiber is going to voice Otto Octavius, or more popularly known as Dock Ock. Unless he's being assigned to voice Kraven the Hunter, which might also work when you put into account his previous ferocious comic book role. Then again, just like Moore, only his voice will be utilized, so he can practically play anyone. LOL. Hollywood's favorite duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller are writing and producing this movie, while Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey will co-direct the movie. Considering this is an animated movie, shouldn't they start working from now? I mean, animation is unlike live action movie, because it needs to be done at least 2 years in advance to achieve the highest quality. Let's just hope that this movie will be able to stand against the rising tide of "Aquaman" when it arrives next year. Otherwise, this might spell trouble for SONY's ambitious universe.

X-Men Universe

In a very surprising (but seriously pleasant) announcement, "Deadpool 2" has discovered its future-mutant Cable. And my oh my, it's Mad Titan Thanos himself, Josh Brolin!!! Yes, scoring his second Marvel role, Brolin's Cable will be featured in not one, nor two, but FOUR future X-Men movies. Popular speculation says that his next movie will be "X-Force", if not "New Mutants" as well. He's joining Ryan Reynolds who is returning to produce and star as lead character Wade Wilson, as well as Zazie Beets who will portray Domino. Interestingly, Brolin has played a comic book character before, as the titular character in the critically and financially failed DC movie "Jonah Hex". Which means, he and Reynolds are fated kindred spirits from the get go! That's nothing but true fact, no matter how Reynolds openly 'complains' about it... LOL.

No offense to David Harbour, Brad Pitt, or Michael Shannon, but Brolin sounds too perfect for this role. Not just in terms of looks, but also in the actor's ability to play the straight-faced man with a penchant to infuse his character with various kinds of intensity. "Old Boy", and "Sicario" are great examples of this. Created by Rob Liefeld and writer Louise Simonson, Cable is the complete opposite personality to the obnoxious, oddball, and foul-mouthed Deadpool. He's a tough, no-nonsense mutant whose gruff attitude and mysterious aura didn't waste time to attract a great number of fans. He has also been paired with Deadpool ever since. Suffice to say, it's a character that is right up on Brolin's alley, with "Men in Black 3" as its easiest example. With this sequel expected to arrive in 2018, production for the David Leitch feature is set to have a June start in Vancouver. Brolin is currently filming his Thanos role with Marvel Studios in Atlanta, and might even have completed his motion-capture part already. So rest assured, scheduling issue is not even a thing. Interestingly, both movies will be released next year, which means, 2018 would be a truly Marvel-ous year for Brolin!

Marvel Studios

Have you seen the mindblowing first teaser of "Thor: Ragnarok"? The long awaited teaser was simply rock and roll AWESOME, wasn't it! Not only director Taika Waititi delivered a Thor Odinson's movie that already felt distinctly different to his previous solo features, he also imbued it with his signature quirky fun but gorgeous colorful style. It felt like this least-favored franchise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally embraced its funky Asgardian glory and cosmic side, eh? As if that's not enough to please us, it has already scored an amazing achievement by being the most-watched trailer that both Disney and Marvel Studios ever released! Is this a good sign? Most definitely. In fact, this was such a splendid teaser, I'm actually hoping that Marvel Studios won't be releasing anything else after this. This one's more than enough to grab audience's attention.

The official poster that came afterwards, though? Perhaps it didn't quite leave a similar impression, but arguably still emitted a strong promise of colors and style. Especially with all those Rainbow-Bridge-tone illuminating the titular character. Just look all those gorgeous colors, right? Chris Hemsworth is looking cool with that new haircut, and of course, don't forget the absence of Thor's beloved Mjolnir. Seriously, this movie is going to be strangely fun but epic! November 3rd, 2017 can't come soon enough.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves too soon. "Ragnarok" is still 7 months away, and there's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" that we need to anticipate first! With all three releases of the year looking equally fun and colorful, it would be a mistake to skip any one of them, right? HUGE mistake. And we can expect the first screenings reactions from "Vol 2" pretty soon. Why? Director James Gunn, along with stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Dave Bautista have kicked off the sequel's worldwide promotional tour in Tokyo, Japan last week. Not surprising, because it is set to hit theatres in Australia, Southeast Asia, and other international countries theatres starting on April 25.

As for the North American region, if I'm not mistaken, some of the press members are going to be the first to see it, just a few days from now. I bet early social media reviews and responses will arrive pretty much the same day. That's also the same reason why it's going to get harder and harder to avoid spoilers spreading throughout the internet. Even interviews and press roundup have slowly reveal details about the movie, much earlier than we expected. For example, Kurt Russell has spoken to Total Film (via Flickering Myth) on whether we'll be seeing a "Tango and Cash" reunion in this movie between his Ego the Living Planet, and Sylvester Stallone's mysterious character. Nah... I won't spoil anything about it, just go ahead and read the article if you're up with a little spoiler.

For the time being, "Vol 2" is tracking for a $150 million domestic debut. This is considerably close to the opening of "Captain America: Civil War", and also a solid improvement to the $94,3 million debut of the first "Guardians of the Galaxy" back in 2014. It's hard to predict whether this opening estimation is on point or not, because even "Beauty and the Beast" have magnificently surpassed its initial tracking number (and has broken the $1 billion mark yesterday). There's always a chance that the same accomplishment will occur with "Vol 2", considering the franchise is now sitting on everyone's top 5 most favorite among the MCU. Not to mention, "Vol 2" is the first movie that will kick start the 2017 Summer Movie season in the US. I guess we'll have to wait and see, and hope the best for the sequel. Because if it's good, then I bet Gunn would not shy away from returning to create a "Vol 3".

As for "Homecoming", several rather spoilery details of the movie might have landed online as well. In this case, regarding the "Daily Bugle" existence in the MCU, several scene descriptions from an event held in Tokyo, the possible appearance of other Avengers beside Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, as well as actress Angourie Rice's true role in the movie. Hailing down from a Tom Holland's fanbase account on Twitter, these reports felt... a little hard to fully believe, because it could very well be a subjective assumption on their part. So do take them with a huge grain of salt.

Finally, remember that candid photos of Elizabeth Olsen filming an action scene for "Avengers: Infinity War" in Edinburgh? There's a video version of it now, and one that looks rather... dire and serious. This scene once again hinting that Olsen's Scarlet Witch and likely Paul Bettany's Vision will come into blow with a CGed henchmen, presumably the Black Order members. If you're curious, then go ahead and check it on Youtube. Assuming it hasn't been taken down, of course. Inline with the casting announcement from FOX, it seems Josh Brolin would have concluded his part as Thanos in May so that he can join the production for "Deadpool 2" in Vancouver. Which is probably why the "Infinity War" production will then proceed with his Black Order members instead.

Netflix

This might sound surprising, but it's the last category for today! Yes, because I have no topics for the game section. LOL.

It wasn't long ago that we heard Marvel's "The Defenders" has wrapped its production, to pave way for the second season of Marvel's "Jessica Jones". Looks like Marvel's "The Punisher" has followed suit as well with its completion. A Twitter fanbase account for lead actor Jon Bernthal, reported that the cast has thrown away a wrap party for the production that began on October 2016. Judging from this, it's safe to assume that the series will in fact arrive later this year instead of next year. It's a little suspicious though, that it wrapped just a few weeks after "The Defenders" eventhough they started at relatively the same time. Considering the mini series only has 8 episodes, does this mean "The Punisher" might be a more compact/shorter series than those previous four? I sure hope so, because forcing these serialized shows into a 13 episodes with materials enough for maybe 10 at most, certainly didn't work charm. Said sentiment has even become one of the loudest talked-about criticism thrown at them. Here's hoping Netflix will realize this issue and solve it accordingly, because seriously, watching Marvel's "Iron Fist" alone has already worn me out.

Meanwhile, Netflix is reminding its audience that the 2nd season of "Sense8" will arrive in May 5th, by launching an official trailer. Which is highly necessary, because even I have forgotten that I've written about this fact before! YIKES!!! The inability of Netflix to set a fixed annual release date is admittedly troublesome, as it tends to wore out its devoted audience due to uncertainty of when to expect any continuations. "Sense8" and "Voltron Legendary Defender", as well as their uncertain delays are good examples of this particular issue.

IMHO, "Sense8" is a show that would have benefitted from having its second season arriving as soon as possible, preferably in mere months apart (just like the Network side, perhaps?). The first season was undoubtedly slow if not poorly paced, and the story only got interesting and intense in the last two-to-three episodes. It undeniably felt like an extended intro for the real story, thus forcing viewers to wait too long (remember, first season was launched in 2015!) to see what's next (one that hopefully explores the REAL intrigue behind them), simply doesn't do any good. Sure, there was a "Sense8: Christmas Special" on December 23rd last year, but I doubt many even knew it existed nor have watched it. I sure haven't, because even I only remember about it just now, FOUR months later. LOL. And to be honest, although I'm probably among the few who DID enjoy the first season, I've realized I'm not that anxious to see the second. Why? I have forgotten whatever was happening in it, so seeing this new trailer only succeeded in making me scratch my head in confusion. That is NOT good...

Thankfully, Netflix's bingewatch functionality helps to counter this problem. After all, unlike movies that come and go, we can view any of their original shows anytime we want. So those who haven't seen the first, can plan their start later by watching both seasons all at once. Trust me, I believe that would be more effective for this series. So right now, I'm patiently waiting for the critics' reviews first before actually checking the second season. While at the same time, re-watching the first season one by one, which might be a challenge because sadly this show doesn't have a strong rewatchability. My only hope is, I won't end up forgetting about this plan in just a few weeks after release. LOL.

You stared around the room looking at everyone as silence fell upon the group. Everyone was taking a moment to let the information you told sink in. The moment that Eddie left you home, the first person you called was Hopper. You didn't want to waste any more time knowing that it was limited.

"How can we trust what he told you?" Jonathan asked, being the first to speak and breaking the tense silence. "I-I mean we know that Vecna created him, or whatever, and controlling him. How can we be sure that Vecna didn't send him to you?"

"He didn't have that demonic look in his eyes," You spoke confidently, "He was Eddie again, my Eddie."

"I think whether it was Vecna or not, we should still take advantage of Eddie's information," Hopper spoke. "The only thing left is to devise a plan to take this fucker out."

"He's still weak if what we know is true," Joyce spoke "What if we took him out while he's doing the remote travel like before? It almost worked the first time. But maybe a second hit will finally take him out."

"That's not a bad idea. But how are we going get him in that state?" Nancy spoke, wrapping her arms around herself as she leaned forward.

"Eddie," You spoke up, "Vecna controls him to feed so that he pulls strength into the Hive Mind."

"What are we going to do? Stalk your boyfriend and wait for him to pick a victim?" Steve asked.

"We don't need to wait, we can give him a victim," You started and watched as a look crossed over Steve's face as the two of you stared off with one another.

"No. No, absolutely not." Steve spoke with his voice rising. "We're not doing that."

"You aren't making the choice for me, Steve." You rolled your eyes and suddenly felt hostile toward him. "I can be the bait."

The room erupted into chaos as everyone started to talk over one another. Every once voicing how they didn't want you to place yourself in danger. A feeling flared through you that you weren't sure if it was anger or a mix of fear. But to see everyone reject the idea of you drawing Eddie's attention to you.

"It's my decision! I am willing to do this. Vecna is already trying to use me for something," You spoke, causing everyone to halt and look at you. "...or...or using me to torture Eddie, either way, we already have an in."

"Vecna let you by chance that first time," Robin spoke, "Are we forgetting about Max right now in the hospital fighting for her life because of this Vecna creep?"

"We're going to be more prepared this time, also, he's weaker. Are we forgetting this part?" You exclaimed

"She has a point," Nancy spoke up, being the only one at your defense. "El can go into a sensory tank, find Vecna, and we end him. The plan we had last time we a good one, we just went in ill-prepared. But we are all together now."

"You want to feed her to that demon?" Steve spoke with anger still clear in his voice.

"I can draw him away and give enough time for El to end Vecna. Us killing him in the real world did nothing, only injured him. Vecna found a way to become stronger." You spoke, before turning your eyes to Hopper. "I can do this."

Hopper sighed deeply, moving to rub his hand over his beard. "How are sure that you want to do this?"

"Hopper!" Steve and Robin shouted at the same time, looking at him in shock.

Hopper held his hand out to them, a motion to silence their protests. But he kept his brown eyes on you, waiting for your response.

"I can do this," You spoke nodding your head, even as nerves moved through your body like electricity.

"Alright, this is what we're going to do," Hopper spoke, quickly laying out the plan. "Steve, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan, and Y/N, you're going to head down to the Upside Down. That's where Eddie is and we're going to bring the fight to him. Y/N you draw his attention to you, but dear god, don't let him get you. We cannot lose another one of you."

You nodded your head before Hopper continued.

"Joyce, Will and Dustin will act as points of contact between the Upside Down and the rest of us." Hopper sighed "They'll also be the ones there to pull you out. That'll leave El, Mike, and I, we are going to make sure that nothing happens on El's end so that she can go under."

"So we're taking the fight to Vecna?" Dustin asked

"We're taking this son of a bitch down," Hopper nodded his head

"Are you seriously going to do this?" Steve asked, his voice harsh even in a whisper. "I mean...you're really going to use yourself as bait for Vecna."

"Steve...please..." You sighed heavily

"No," He shook his head, "I can't believe that you're going to do this. What if something goes wrong? What if you're hurt?"

"I-I don't know...I didn't think that far ahead. But I do know that we can sit back and wait for something to happen. Not if what Eddie said was true,"

"Eddie, right." Steve scoffed "We don't know if this is a trick that Vecna is using. He already tried to take you once before, h-how are we supposed to stop him if it happens again?"

Robin stepped forward, "We care about you, we're not...we can't imagine losing you."

You softened slightly and moved to the two of them. Instantly you stepped forward and wrapped your arms around your two friends, pulling them into a tight group hug. You felt both Steve and Robin's grips on you tighten the moment you stepped into their arms.

"I can't lose another friend," Steve's voice cracked slightly.

"You're not going to. I'm going to do everything that I can to make sure that doesn't happen,"

You stepped out of their arms, tears swimming in all your eyes, before giving Steve a small smile. He'd always felt like the brother you'd always wanted ever since the two of you became friends. And to see the fear in his eyes made your stomach clench for a moment.

The low rumblings of the world on the other side could be heard, the sky was red and violent more than before. Over the last few days, more of the Upside Down seemed to bleed into Hawkins. And with the multiple people coming up missing in the few days since you'd seen Eddie, something within you knew what was the cause.

You sighed heavily as you looked down to the gate that cracked through the center of City Hall. When the "earthquake" happened and the earth beneath Hawkins split, City Hall took the greatest hit with it being the center of the craters. Once again you were all strapped and geared to head down through into the Upside Down.

"Alright," Joyce spoke as she looked at the five of you, a nervous shaky breath passing through her lips. "Dustin and I will be here as the point of action between you and Hopper. The moment that something goes wrong, you need to get out of there. Understand?"

You all nodded your heads in agreement before Joyce's eyes landed on you. "And you...don't you dare do anything reckless?"

"I won't. Promise." You gave her a small smile for reassurance.

Dustin sent down the rope from before, dragging it over to a column and tying it tightly to the structure. Steve slid down first followed close behind by Nancy and Robin. Your stomach fluttered with nervous butterflies as you gripped tightly to the rope, before kicking off and sliding down. Your feet landed hard against the ground as you looked around to the Upside Down version of City Hall. The moment Jonathan followed down behind you, it was like that was the moment it finally hit you on what you were all about to do.

"Where do we think he'd be hiding?" Robin asked, double checking her rifle was loaded, "Trailer park?"

"That or Creel House, we know that's where Vecna likes to hide." You spoke up. "Maybe we should draw him away from where's he comfortable."

"You can stay downtown?" Jonathan asked

"It would give us better cover if anything went wrong, and we wouldn't have to run back here either. It would be us choosing a home base." Nancy agreed as she nodded her head.

You reached into your pocket and pulled out the switchblade that Hopper had passed off to you before you'd all left. "Let's get this over with,"

The five of you walked out of the decrepit City Hall and out into the Upside Down. There was a low and eerie noise that moved through the town. It was like a tornado was rumbling in the distance and ready to rip through everything.

"Are you sure about this?" Steve asked as he looked down at you, his hand gently on your shoulder. "We can turn back and think of something else."

"I'm sure," You spoke, before moving down through the streets.

Everyone took their places making sure to spread out slightly through the abandoned streets of Hawkins. You stood with Steve and Jonathan in front of you, with Nancy and Robin behind you both of them holding rifles tightly in their grasps. You clenched and unclenched your fist a few times before opening the palm up to expose it. With the blade tightly in your hand, you dragged the blade across the top of your skin. A painful hiss passed through your lips as the firey pain moved up through your arm.

A tense and eerie silence moved over the five of you as your blood dripped down your hand, through your fingers, and onto the floor beneath you.

"We sure that's gonna be enough blood to draw his attention?" Jonathan asked, looking over his shoulder.

"Or he's going to be hungry enough?" Robin followed up.

"I have a feeling this is going to be more than enough," Steve spoke, watching as your blood dropped down to the ground beneath your feet. "We don't need to go overboard with this."

Before anyone could say another word, a deep animalistic sound echoed from the woods only a few miles from downtown. That made your heart stop for a moment. Everyone's head swiveled around looking for the source of the noise but was not able to see anything. Soon enough the sound of large wings flapping through the wind was heard, and you knew immediately who it was.

"Guys," Robin whispered

"I can hear him," You whispered, closing the blade and sliding it into your back pocket. "Remember, no matter what...do not kill him. He's still Eddie."

"Even if he's ripping you to pieces?" Steve asked harshly as the sound grew closer.

"Do. Not. Hurt. Him." You spoke through clenched teeth.

A swift and fast motion catches your eyes, and when you all looked over, you saw him. Perched on the edge of the roof of the general store only a couple blocks down. His wings stretched out behind him and a part of you couldn't help but think of how beautiful he looked. His dark curls moved in the wind around his face adding to the dark beauty that he now exuded. But even with the few blocks between you, something in his stance, of how he glowered down at you all - this was no longer your Eddie.

This was the monster that Vecna had turned him into.

Everyone seemed to stiffen slightly as he shot up from the roof and landed on the streets before all of you. The dark bruise-like shadows were beneath his eyes with his eyes completely encased in darkness, the whites of his eyes gone. Your stomach churned as he growled with his fangs gleaming.

"Dustin, we've got him," Jonathan spoke into the walkie, his voice shaky with not only nerves but fear as he stared at Eddie.

"Copy that," His voice echoed through the speaker. It seemed hearing Dustin's voice caused Eddie's head to turn to the side slightly with recognition.

But just as Dustin's voice echoed out there was a calmness that settled over everything surrounding you all. It made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Before anyone could say a word, a familiar shriek echoed through the sky. It started off slow as one by one they started to appear, before soon, they filled the sky like a billowing cloud headed straight for you all.

Demobats.

"Run!" Steve screamed, everyone quickly moving, "Run!"

You broke off into a sprint and ran toward the City Hall, hearing as your friends ran around you. You weren't paying attention as your feet pounded against the concrete with your fear pushing your feet to move faster.

"YN!" Nacy screamed your name, causing you to turn over your shoulder.

Your breath halted in your throat as you watched the dark cloud made of the demobats span out over you all. You could see that you'd all split up. Jonathan and Nancy were closest to you, ducked behind a car that was left abandoned in the street and covered in vines. You could see Robin peeking out from behind a building with Steve across the street behind another.

In the middle of the bats, was Eddie, he quickly flew down closer to you. It was only a matter of seconds of Nancy calling your name before you felt his grip and you were soon lifted from the ground. A scream ripped from deep within your chest as he grabbed you.

"Y/N!" Steve's voice echoed back, fear ripping through his tone of voice. "Y/N!"

Everything happened quickly before you felt yourself being dropped to the forest floor. You screamed as you hit the forest floor, a pain shooting through your body, and tears quickly filling your eyes. You rolled for a short distance before stopping with your back hitting the side of a fallen tree. The pain moving through your body was firey and made you feel paralyzed.

You watched as Eddie landed in front of you, a sadistic smirk across his pale lips. You whimpered softly as you tried to move away, but it was like your body wasn't able to move.

"Did you really think that you were going to get away from me," Eddie spoke. But your brows pulled together tightly as you listened to his voice. Because it wasn't his voice, it was someone else's. "You don't think I don't see what you're trying to do?"

Eddie stopped right in front of you and moved to bend down in front of you.

"What a silly little game you and your friends like to play, can't realize and accept that you'd lost?"

You felt vile move up your throat as you realized who was in front of you. He might be using your boyfriend's body, but there wasn't a sign of him in front of you.

"Vecna," You whimper, causing his smirk to widen more.
