Absinthe the Green Fairy Necklace

Necklace for Absinthe the Green Fairy Halloween prop project. Pictures are in normal light, blacklight, and the dark in which it glows. Swarovski, Preciosa, vintage, uranium glass, and Aragonite natural glow in the dark stones in black enameled settings. Some crystal has aftermarket coatings to make them glow in blacklight and in the dark.

What I've been tinkering with the last few days.

First of all I started out with making wooden glow in the dark ghost charms, since my brain has been stuck in early Halloween mode for weeks now.

My husband gave me the idea to make Pac man ghosts, which I feel turned out pretty cute! I used glow in the dark paint for their eyes.

I've decided I wanted to dabble in painting mini art charms. A mushroom under the stars and a spacey solar flower. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Next we have some resin charms and my first attempt at resin! I feel like they came out pretty good. I was excited to out them on necklaces only to realize the jump rings I have are too tiny! Now I'm waiting on an order of bigger 10mm ones.

The next project was going to be painted wooden dragonballs. Sadly the eyelets cracked the surface because the wood was a lot stronger than I thought. I'll definitely be revisiting these in the future after seeing how they hold up to having holes drilled into them.

Lastly, I am finally making some stickers! I found some sticker paper that I forgot I had gotten months ago!

It's been quite a busy weekend and last few days bit I'm excited to announce that there will be an update to the shop in the next few weeks once I have photos taken and finally get bigger jump rings to finish my necklaces.

There's more projects to come, and some my husband and I are planning out.

Today is my last time in Belo Horizonte:(

I'll be going back to Fortaleza soon so yeah. I'll miss this wonderful city and the state of Minas Gerais itself. It was a wonderful experience!!
