Me seeing people missing Danhausen and I just want to gently guide them to actually start watching indies, ESPECIALLY if they like wrestlers like him. It's never been easier to watch these also excellent pieces of programming and it's a hell of a lot cheaper to get tickets if you're in areas where wrestling often happens.

AEW feels like it's going to lose a great talent in him (feels like they're just waiting out his contract) but it also means he's going to finally regularly get great matches and storylines again.

Headcanon Time :

Luke holds the record of the fastest claimed demigod in Camp Halfblood. He spent three minutes in Camp, Thalia just turned into a tree, and the first thing the Campers saw when checking out what had just happened was Luke a 14 year old Luke sitting in the grass crying. With Hermes' symbol glowing over his head, brighter than it had with every other demigod child he ever claimed. Hermes and other campers might have interperted this as a show of love, They were bedazzled, a demigod claimed so soon? With not even one action of glory? Not one show of his ability?

It caused almost as much ruckus in the camp as Thalia's death and turning into a tree did. And it only served to built up this image of Luke as a great and strong demigod. Unfortunately that circumstance only served to alienate Luke. His best friend just died- turned into a tree. The child he saw himself responsible for was just deeply traumatized. Yet all people talked about was his dad? About how fast his father told them that he was his father? To Luke, who always knew about his father- this wasn't a miracle. Him getting claimed so soon meant nothing to him at all. But the apathy of camp towards Thalia in favor of his father's actions? That meant everything to him.

Anyone else think of Severus when watching The Glory? It made me feel so deeply, as a victim of severe bullying and SA I couldn’t help but cry as to how much I related to that the similarities between Severus and Moon Dong-eun; James Potter and Park Yeon-Jin- I was really touched and glad that they took the issue seriously and had such compassion for those who have had to suffer this kind of cruel treatment. If anyone needs to talk about similar experiences anonymous is on and my ask box is always open. My big will always be a safe place for those that have suffered such abuse. I’m gods strongest glorybringer supporter always, but one thing that the haters say that really bugs me is that glory’s actions are out of character.

Like one, this is the first time she’s meeting someone who doesn’t treat her like a pet or an idiot. She HAS a different opinion of him because of this. Deathbringer is handsome and respects her, some attraction that she is very much Not Acknowledging is very in character.

But more importantly, glory’s entire arc is about learning to love and accepting that she can be loved. Becoming queen, taking on that responsibility, starting a romantic relationship (which doesn’t actually happen in the book. They got together during the time skip) and eventually become a mother is all ABSOLUTELY important to her character growth
