I gotta be real fair to nalu and say that they really have only known each other for two years and some change at this point(most of which natsu fucked off to who knows where to train without notice). Its crazy work to confess love to someone during all that. Especially for lucy who uprooted her life, got knocked into a coma and woke up to her father dead and most of her community decimated.
