Description

Black-bodied Glarry Stratocaster-style electric guitar, signed on the white pickguard in blue felt tip by Jeff Buckley, who adds a small heart. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL.

The consignor notes that the pickguard was signed at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon, on May 8, 1995.

there’s a commonly asked question that goes: “what two characters from different universes do you ship together?”

so i am here today to announce that my different universe ship is Kurt Hummel x Tom Riddle.

“but tom can’t love-“ “tom is horrible kurt would never-“ yes i know, but this is fanon so therefore i get to bend the rules a bit (a lot actually). so in my glarry glotter universe tom can love, but he’s very reserved with it. and either he’s toned down quite a bit or he never tells kurt about the people he has murdered, it just depends on the type of fic i want to write honestly.

but imagine this scenario: Burt Hummel is a very wealthy and influential Ministry of Magic official, and Tom (he never becomes Voldemort) has his mind set on becoming Minister of Magic in the future. So what’s a better early start than getting involved with Burt Hummel’s son? At first he was just using Kurt, but then he developed feelings for him. So now he has two goals: make Kurt Hummel his and then become Minister of Magic in the future.

The Refracted of Ilhu

Tepponilamek began this turn with 2 + (2d6 => 2 + 6 = 8) + 3 = 13 power. They encouraged the development of Ippusima (Command Race, -3) and the founding of Ktem in the Dominion of the Burnt (Command Race, -3). Both the Dzadek and the Usfir mustered armies (-2,-2) and influenced by the Reflecting Glarry, many of the merchants of Ilhu form the Refracted, a secret order of skilled navigators, led by an inner circle with knowledge of strange magics but a practical disposition (-1).

In the city of Ilhu on Tuula’s northern coast, Sun-Divers and humans both begin to dream often of the Reflecting Gallery. Being practical, mercantile folk, the knowledge they choose to seek often concerns navigation and seafaring, and they learn much of wind and wave from the books containing therein, or from Seraki who are eager to lecture. Soon these dreamers find each other, and, being wily folk, they create several Honorable Companies, shipping groups much like any other, save that their skill in navigation that quickly earns them much wealth and influence across the Pearl Sea, and that they are secretly all one group. The inner circle of the Companies, known as the Refracted Ones, are the true powers behind the seemingly ordinary merchant ventures, and they have dreamt deeply indeed.

They have not taken only ordinary, if specialised, knowledges from the Reflecting Gallery, but something of its essence; the ice that conceals and reveals has found a home within them. These are men and Sun-Divers of uncommon insight, who command a room with a cold gaze. They even learn, and train select disciples in, a form of magic concerned much cold and ice, but also potent at seeking out things difficult to find, or else dissuading others from seeking them.

Being mercantile folk, they often take advantage of these abilities to refridgerate certain goods and transport them unspoilt. The Refracted are mostly the practical and self-interested sort, albeit with a longer view of self-interest than most. Yet they are also very well-informed, and quite willing to use their wealth and influence to steer events to their liking – such as by aiding the movement of mercenaries from Ilhu to Lanai, to aid the Usfir in their struggle against the Dzadek. The Usfir are well known to them, after all, and as such are much more trustworthy customers.

(Zestychille)  First song recorded on the guitar I built with my father. We hadn’t really seen each other in a while, when I came to him with the idea of a project. We had a few project ideas that we put on the back burner over the last few years. But this one stuck. It ain’t perfect, but damn I like the way it sounds. The bridge pickup has a lot of kick to it, and the neck sounds buttery smooth, just the way we wanted them. The sound is spot on, even if the bigsby and tuning machines need some work. Will have to fix those up when we take it apart to add a finish to the wood.(tung oil, hand applied in light coats with a cloth, and sanded with 1000+ grit to smooth in between coats) Album art is Kito chasing Vespertine in a field. He’s putting on his tough dog face that he does when he’s super into playing.
