GLACIUS PASSIO
I am the water that flows across the land The life that slips away in your hand The time that cycles like the clock hand The tides that push and pull the sand
I am the ice that covers the earth The chill that does away with mirth The cold burn that comes with frozen dearth The frost that traps and brings still-birth
I am the winter, the lone daughter Mistress of darkest deepwater As the ice-cold waves dance in slaughter The ocean resounds with laughter
*line in bold is quoted directly from Mega Man ZX, during the Final Key scene in Area M.

The Panic
WARNING: CONTAINS SAFE VORE AND G/T, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T READ Quick little vore story I wrote late at night lol. Characters from left to right are Phestus, Glacius, Sam, and Frost.
Tiny bit of backstory: Phestus was once obsessed with improving himself, but is now trying to reform with the help of the two brothers glacius and Frost, and their friend Sam. The three don't. really trust him yet, as he has tried to kill them in the past, but are still trying to help however they can.
Phestus paced back and forth, circling the hotel room he was in. Glacius, Frost, and Sam had left hours ago for a mission and had yet to return. While this wasn't unusual, it had been longer than normal, and he was growing worried. The three had gone on a mission to retrieve some of his old documents, leaving him behind in case he was recognized. However, he had told them the safest way in and out, and shouldn't have taken this long. He muttered to himself, tapping his finger rhythmically as he did so.
Another hour passed like this, and Phestus was beginning to form a plan to chase them before he heard a quiet tap at the window. He froze for a second, unsure what to do. His eyes were locked on the window, waiting for any movement beyond the curtain as his lens' focused and narrowed. a few quiet, uneasy seconds passed before there was another tap, this time more frantic. His arm hissed and shifted as he approached, ready for an attack as he carefully pulled back the curtain. On the other side was Sam, alone and looking around frantically. Phestus immediately opened the window, with Sam skittering inside quickly. The cyborg backed up slightly, giving the borrower space as he calmed himself down.
"W-What happened? Where are Glacius and Frost???" he asked worriedly, looking at the borrower with concern. He had been careful to dim his lights and widen his lens, hoping to give off a less unsettling appearance.
"I. . . . They. . . ." He huffed, trying to catch his breath after rushing back. "They got caught. T-The place was on lockdown but they still tried to get in. I. . . .He told me to run. . ." Sam looked down, ashamed to have run away. Though he knew he wouldn't have won, it hurt his pride to not even try, but he knew glacius wouldn't want him to get caught too.
"WHAT?!?!" Phestus squawked, his eyes widening as he stood up. Sam shuffled away slightly at this, watching as he began pacing.
"No No I-I checked the network right before they left, they couldn't have gone into a lockdown that quickly. . There were no mentions of it! I. . . . ." he continued mumbling to himself, as Sam took the chance to sit down for a minute. He went over the mission in his head, the both of them confused about what had gone wrong. "The logs were fine, there wasn't even anything of worth there! Unless. . . ." He went still, his lens constricting as Sam heard quiet whirring coming from the man.
"They knew someone was in their files" Phestus spat, pacing once more as his lens' reopened. His pacing grew slower and more forceful, his cane knocking against the ground loudly. Sam stood up, backing away anxiously as the man's demeanor changed. "H-hey, maybe you shouldn't uh-" he stammered, looking at him wearily. Phestus snapped his head towards him, stopping in place. Sam only grew more worried with the man's attention on him, ready to flee if he made a move.
"I. . . . . ." the man wavered, seeing the borrower's reaction to him. He quickly looked away, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I-I'm sorry it's just. *Frustrating* that this is how we found out they were onto us. Though I suppose there wasn't a way to know ahead of time. . ." he sighed, walking towards his bag as he rifled through it.
"W- What are you looking for?" Sam cautiously asked, glad the man hadn't gotten out of hand. Without Frost or glacius, he was virtually defenseless if the man went haywire, a fact he was very aware of. Phestus didn't respond, simply pulling out a small hard drive and storing it in his coat pocket. He began towards the door, pausing as his hand hovered near the handle.
"Do you want to go get them back?" he asked, angling his head towards Sam. He held out his hand, though didn't approach the small man. Sam didn't respond, simply flying over and settling in the man's hand. He was still tense, careful watching the man as he slipped him inside his chest pocket. Phestus opened the door, making his way outside as he pulled his hood over his face.
Under the cover of night, the two managed to make their way to the edges of the city unnoticed, the company building coming within sight as phestus rounded the corner. Sam anxiously watched from the man's chest pocket, poking his head out as they grew nearer. Phestus glanced at the windows of the building, huffing as he saw the glare of metal blast doors beyond. While he had been lacking in running his company, he had made sure they had a very strict security protocol. Which he now regretted. Soon, Phestus had made his way to a back entrance, having to avoid the security cameras around the perimeter.
"Are you really sure you can get in?" Samuel whispered, nervously looking around the quiet roads.
"Hehehe...I'm sure I can get in. Getting out, however. . .*" The man smiled as his left arm began to shift, his finger coming apart while wires forced themselves out. They wriggled into the door in front of him, quickly unlocking it as he carefully slid inside. The door hissed shut behind him, resealing itself quietly as he made his way deeper inside. The hallways were seemingly never-ending, with rooms to match. To Sam it was all a blur, though phestus navigated it unfalteringly, almost running as he did so. As they continued, Phestus stopped in his tracks, realizing that the main room was between him and the holding cells. He heard people approaching, cursing as he slinked into a room. Sam fluttered out of his pocket, landing on a shelf nearby as the cyborg locked the door behind them.
"How do we get through there without being noticed?" Sam asked, his fear returning. Phestus didn't look at him, tapping his fingers as he responded
"We can't, But I-I can Make it through with my status. Though I'm not sure if it'll be safe for you. . ."
"What do you mean?"
"The holding cells have security in and out of it, the guards would be able to see you in my pocket, if not on the machines." He admitted, his eyes flitting about as he tried to think of a solution. "Plus the second I reveal myself, they'll be watching me like vultures." He went silent, an inkling of a thought beginning to form in his head
"Is there really no other way to the cells? I-I can't just stay here. . ." Sam urged, a nervous look on his face.
"I know just. . .give me a second to think. . ." He muttered, trying to come up with anything. Same sighed, beginning to sit down before the two were interrupted by someone trying the door handle. The two froze, quickly whispering to each other.
"What do we do? If they see me we're in trouble!"
"I-I don't know, I just need a minute. . ."
"We don't have a minute! They're gonna start getting suspicious!"
"I know! I-I'm trying to-"
He was cut off by a voice from the other side, still shaking the door as she asked.
"Hello? Is someone in there? We're taking role again, you need to come out." Phestus cursed under his breath, freezing as a solution came into his head. He slowly turned to Sam, knowing the man was almost guaranteed to reject it.
"I-I-I could-"
He went silent as the lady walked away, and the two heard her talking to someone nearby. Phestus realized they were out of time, and before same could react, he snatched him up. Same didn't respond for a moment, shocked, before beginning to try and free himself.
"What are you doing?! We need to-" He was cut off by the man, a look of guilt in his eyes.
"S-Sorry. . ." he whispered, before opening his jaw and quickly shoving the poor man inside. Sam immediately began thrashing more violently, shouting as he was dropped inside.
"PHESTUS, DON'T. PLEASE, WE CAN-" he was cut off as the man tilted his head back, swallowing. The feeling was foreign to phestus, a motion he hadn't done in decades. He winced as he felt the small man struggling, trying to get this over with as quickly as possible. He swallowed awkwardly again, this time managing to pull the borrower deeper inside. He hesitated as he heard keys jingling in the door, swallowing more harshly as the man slipped into his esophagus.
Sam tried his best to slow his descent, though it was for nothing as he felt himself sinking further and further down. Phestus swallowed a final time, feeling Sam land safely in his gut, the door in front of him opening at almost the same time. A man and a woman stood in the doorway, the man donning a guard's uniform.
"Alright, who's-. . .o-oh. . ." he stammered staring wide-eyed at phestus. The woman was equally shocked, the pair frozen. Phestus broke the silence, careful to keep his voice quiet so as to not deafen Sam "What are you two staring at?" he hissed, trying to sound as harsh as he could. It was hard for him to focus on the facade as he felt the man inside of him squirming and trying to free himself. It was believable enough for the two of them though, and the woman began to stammer.
"W-We didn't know you were coming anytime soon. W-With the building on lockdown and everything. . ." she trailed off, unable to find an excuse. The guard pushed her aside, making a path for phestus as he marched toward them. The light behind his lens took an orange tint to them instead of their natural yellow, and constricted, focusing the light.
"And who ordered this search, eh?"
"I'-I'm so sorry sir! I thought s-someone was trying to hide in here and I. . ." Phestus huffed at this, making his way past the man toward the main room. He was acutely aware of the eyes on him, an arm held to his stomach as he entered. The room fell almost dead silent as he did so, with the staff simply staring at him as he made his way through. Carefully making his way down the stairs, he walked straight through the center of the room, trying to ignore the sensation inside of him. His breath suddenly hitched as Sam kicked one of his more sensitive spots, making the man wince slightly in pain, though none around him seemed to notice. Before he was even halfway across the room, people were whispering among themselves, though made well sure to stay out of his path. He tried to tune out their voices, though could only do so much when he was surrounded by them. Going as quickly as he could, he hoped to reach the security checkpoints with no more incidents.
As Sam felt himself drop into Phestus' stomach, true panic set into the poor borrower. His hand flew to his belt, searching for his sword. His panic worsened as he realized he had left it with glacius, leaving him completely defenseless. Sam shot up, trying to climb his way back out to no avail. His mind was filled with memories of what had happened last time, ears twitching at the thought. Phestus had been noticeably less harsh this time, however, though just as rushed. Neither mattered to Sam, as he just wanted to free himself before anything happened. He took a deep breath, readying himself to shout.
"PLEASE LET ME OUT! I-I'M SORRY FOR W-WHATEVER I DID JUST LET ME OUT!!!" he shouted, though there was no response. He could hear muffled voices outside, and covered his ears as he heard phestus begin to speak. Luckily for him, it was nowhere near as loud as it had been the first time, though was still as terrifying. He soon tried to climb out again, though was knocked down as he began moving. Same resorted to simply thrashing about, hoping it would irritate the man enough to free him. He seemed unfazed for a while, though eventually his foot hit something. . .diffirent. It felt softer and more tender, and the hit elicited a flinch from the man, though he tried to hide it. Sam suddenly remembered the small flashlight glacius had given him, and pulled it off his belt, turning it on. The flesh around him was pale, and almost white, save for two spots. The esophagus above him seemed red and irritated, along with a strange scar near the sides. It looked almost like enough esophagus, though smaller and more irregular. Same winced, realizing it was most likely the entrance to his feeding tube. He shuddered as he turned off the light, hoping that if he at least irritated it enough he would be freed.
Phestus' breathing grew rather shaky as he rushed down the hallways, trying to suppress the nausea rising in his chest. He knew Sam would be upset with what he did, but he hadn't realized his internal weakness. The pain was unlike any he had felt before, and was hard to ignore, especially while being watched. Once he was out of sight of prying eyes, phestus made his way into another secluded room, locking it behind him and backing away from the door as his breathing worsened.
"S-Sam p-please stop. I-I was trying t-to hide you a-and-" His voice was tense and clipped, the man now holding his stomach tightly
"THEN LET ME OUT!!!" Sam yelled, continuing his assault. though he wouldn't admit it, he was growing tired and was glad his plan seemed to be working.
"I-I can't, t-they'll see you a-and there's n-no other w-way t-to hide you. . ."
"This isn't any better! you do realize I won't be safe in here forever right?!"
sam argued, trying his best to keep most of his body off the ground. His mind began to wander, before snapping back as he spoke.
"I-If you're w-worried about a-acids, m-my body d-doesn't produce any. . . .I r-removed the glands y-years ago. . ." He pleaded, still trying to suppress his nausea. Sam stopped upon hearing this, giving phestus a moment to catch his breath.
"W-what?"
"I re-removed them decades ago. with the feeding tube, I-I didn't need them," he repeated, glad the man had finally calmed down. though his stomach was still aching, it was easier to deal with without being aggravated.
"O-oh...." trailing off, Sam realized that he had yet to feel any burning, though was too busy panicking to notice. He shifted around, Feeling guilty for hurting them man "I didn't know...I...Sorry..."
"I understand," he said softly, simply glad the man was no longer scared. Eventually, he went back into the hallway, swiftly heading towards the cell block once more. Once near security, he began tapping his hand anxiously, though tried to appear confident as he walked towards them.
"Badge and reason p-" the man started, before looking up and realizing who was in front of him. "O-Oh! Go right ahead sir, I apologize. . ." the man quickly looked towards his monitor, hoping to avoid eye contact the the cyborg as he made his way towards him. Phestus anxiously held a hand to his stomach as he walked through, hoping his plan would work. The room was silent for a minute as the images loaded, filling him with anxiety.
"A-all clear, go right ahead" the guard confirmed, still staring at his monitor. Phestus nodded, continuing deeper into the facility. The Hallways here were wider, with every other door replaced by a clear glass cell. after walking past countless cells, Phestus slowed upon seeing two cells at the end of the hallway. The one on the left held Glacius, glaring at the glass in front of him as he fiddled with his empty holster. To his right was Frost, quietly sitting in his cell with his knees to his chest. Before phestus got much closer, Glacius snapped his head towards him, shooting up and quickly pressing against the glass. He tried to tell him something, though no sound made it past the barrier. Frost quickly followed, a frown coming across his face as he stood up. The cyborg approached the controls nearby, his left arm shifting once more as wires snaked their way into the panel. The brother's cells quickly opened, the two of them rushing phestus. Frost was the first to speak, fear on his face.
"How did you make it in here without getting caught?" Phestus didn't respond for a second, nervously looking at glacius before answering.
"I, uh. . .technically got caught. . .B-But it's okay! T-They didn't realize what I was doing! So we're fine!" Glacius' face turned cold at this, as he hissed.
". . .And how do you suppose we get out without them noticing now?"
"Hey, he got us out at least. That's something, right?" Frost quickly interjected, hoping to distract his brother before he lashed out at either of them.
". . .Sure," glacius sighed, his shoulders relaxing a bit before his eyes flew open.
"Where's Sam???" Phestus clammed up at the question, unprepared to answer as the two stared at him.
"I-Uh-Um-. . .I-I left him at the hotel! But I locked the doors, s-so he should be fine!" He said nervously, trying to avoid eye contact with the two.
"What??? you left him Alone in a random hotel room???" Glacius spat, quickly storming down the hallway as the two others followed. Frost gave him an apologetic look, before catching up with his brother and whispering to him. Phestus hesitated for a second, before joining the two of them and leading them down the hallways. The way out was easier than in, and the three of them were out within mere minutes. Soon, the ground had made it to Glacius' car, climbing inside before they sped away. Phestus was still nervously tapping his fingers, worried about what would happen once they arrived back at the hotel room. The time came sooner than he thought, and phestus nervously got out as glacius unlocked their door. He had been silent the whole time over, only breaking it once the hotel door was closed behind the three of them.
". . .Sam?" Glacius called, looking around the room for any signs of his friend. He was met with only silence, as Frost and Phestus stood still. he continued to call out, his voice growing more worried the longer he went on. Frost began to help him search, with the two soon realizing he was nowhere to be found.
"Phestus, if Sam got lost because of you, so help me. . ." he growled, glaring at the man. Phestus began to crack, looking away as glacius got closer to him.
". . .You know something don't you?. . .Phestus, where is he?" The cyborg backed away uncomfortable, quickly mumbling excuses as glacius got in his face. Eventually, he broke, quickly blurting out the truth.
". . . I-I may have ᵉᵃᵗᵉⁿ ʰⁱᵐ﹖" He trailed off, nervously looking at glacius while he was frozen in shock.
"You. . .WHAT?" Glacius bellowed, grabbing the man by the collar and slamming him into the floor. Frost began to try and separate the two, but quickly backed away once glacius pulled out his dagger.
"You lying bastard. . . " Glacius hissed, leaning in closely to his face. "If you don't spit him out, so help me god, I'm gonna gut you like a pig" Frost tried to calm him down, though was nervously glancing at Phestus as he spoke.
"H-hey listening Glacius, m-maybe he didn't m-mean to. . right?" he looked at the cyborg with a mix of hope and disgust, hoping he would take back his words.
"Oh, he better hope so" Glacius tightened his grip on his dagger, his glare almost as cold as the steel upon the man's torso.
"I-I can explain p-please! I was t-trying to help hi-" he was quickly interrupted, wincing as he felt the knife being pressed into his flesh
"How the hell would that help?! Did you forget what you've done to him before?"
"N-No! I just-"
"Spit him out. Last chance."
". . .A-Alright. . ." Phestus swallowed nervously, before forcing Sam back through his throat. Almost as soon as he was free, glacius grabbed him, checking him over worriedly. he soon stood up, going to the bath to wash Sam off. Phestus carefully stood, noticing the look of disdain from Frost. Soon, Glacius and Sam exited the bathroom, the look of fury having left the man's face. Sam went to sit next to Frost, the two whispering as Glacius approached Phestus.
"He...told me what happened" he quietly admitted, sitting down next to him.
"I-I'm sorry, I know I-I shouldn't have-" He was cut off by glacius sighing, holding his head in his hands.
"No no I. . .I get why you did it it's just. . ." he paused, turning to face him.
"I'm sorry for getting upset with you, you were just trying to help him. . ."
"O-Oh. . ." Phestus was unsure how to respond, expecting another berating from the man. "I. . .uh. . .y-you're welcome. . ."
"Just. Try not to do it again, Okay? Or at least warn one of us. . ." He nodded, just glad he had escaped unscathed. Glacius left once more, avoiding him for the rest of the night. He also noticed that Frost had stopped looking at him with such disgust, and it was instead curious glances here and there.
Later that night, while glacius was asleep, same came over to talk to phestus, looking apologetic as he sat nearby.
"I'm sorry for how glacius was acting early. . .and for messing you up inside but. . .thank you for, y'know, trying to help me. " he chuckled
"I-It's fine. . .I apologize f-for not warning you. . ." Phestus stuttered, looking at the ground. Though the others had tried to smooth things over, he still felt bad for scaring the three of them. Same sighed, gently patting his hand before gliding away. Phestus eventually drifted off to sleep, still wracked with guilt as he nodded off.

Minos Lore: Mortal Dynasties
Hey, everybody. So you know how the White Lord says in Chapter 7 of Book 3 that the Fangmire line was actually the fifth dynasty to rule the Mortal Kingdom? Well I thought I might as well clarify that so here are all the dynasties along with the amount of time they lasted: 1st Dynasty: Mortallus - (2110-9112 AC) 7012 years 2nd Dynasty: Hyrinius - (9112 AC - 112 DC) 2111 years 3rd Dynasty: Nyrshires - (112 DC - 220 AC) 909 years 4th Dynasty: Firemayne - (220 - 982 AC) 762 years 5th Dynasty: Fangmire - (982- present) 150+ years
There are several other things to mention. The Firemaynes would later be named Bloodmaynes and Redmaynes in later generations due to most of them being considered bloodthirsty and slightly deranged, something that most people associated them with after oe of their princes, Prince Heralidion, did the most gruesome and violent acts imaginable earning him the nickname 'The Scorcher'. One of the Firemaynes defining features were that all of them had red/orange hair which contributed to their name.
The Hyrinius and Nyrshire lines were both related. The Nyrshires were actually a branch of the much larger family of Hyrinius. So while the Hryninius line were kings the Nyrshires took their former place as Lords of Azerheim and Lords of the Hypoint, their castle. The only reason the Nryshire's came to power was because all the members of the Hyrinius line died in the Crisis which left the Nryshires as the next family in line for the throne.
The transition between the Firemaynes and the Fangmires happened because of a two year war known as 'The Smothering of Flames' due to Lord Artemis Fangmire, Lord of Fort Fangmire, falling in love with Firemayne princess and declaring war on her slightly insane brother who no one really liked (which is why many states ended up supporting him).
I would say the most peaceful transition was between the Hyrinius's and Mortallus family. After the last king of the Mortallus line, King Mayridius IX died at the age of 127 (since the kings of of the Motallus line lived longer than regular Mortals due to them being related to the gods) and his son Mayridius X was allegedly assassinated before he could become king there was no one left in their line so before his death the king had every noble gather in a place now known as Castle Mortaly (later known as Seeker's Keep) on the island of Oridia (Later known as Seeker's Point) and let the choose who would be fit to rule after his death. Most of them picked the Hyrnius's as they were the largest and most powerful non-royal noble family at that point and they had the added bonus of King Mayridius being childhood friends with the grandfather of the current Lord. So he didn't object at all ( although there were several minor disputes and battles between the people who voted for the Hyrinius's and the people who voted for their competitors the Lirmonts of Orheim).
So that's about it. I couldn't go into any detail or this post would be a book in itself.

hooh boy I’ve been forgetting to post about it but I’ve created a winter holiday for the vellumental religion in pmtok because I can’t be the only one who hates the implication of jesus christ in mario. *youtuber voice* let’s get into it
starting on our december 4th and ending on december 28th, there’s a holiday that those who believe in the vellumentals celebrate during the winter season called frost’s eve.
according to the old saying, this was when glacius, the ice vellumental, was created. at first they were blind and couldn’t see, and therefore couldn’t bring winter, so ancient mortals (the ancestors of the ancient ones) were instructed to light up the sky by the fire vellumental, sedjet, to open glacius’ eyes and guide them to the heavens.
this inspired the tradition of hanging up lights by how the ancient mortals lit up all their torches and mirrors to reflect light into the sky and bring glacius to the heavens.
during this holiday time, it’s common for mortals to worship the cold and light to respect the ice vellumental’s journey.
however it’s been kinda watered down into hanging up colorful lights everywhere and building mirror structures out of wood and snow.
additionally, there’s still the legend of saint nicholas (just modified a bit) who happens to look almost exactly like ode. holy shit

Visions of Winter
On the southern shores of Thavnair, the battle raged on. Blows fell, spells blasted, and war cries filled the air all the while. A massive entourage of Voidsent bombs had emerged nearby to assail the Near Eastern island. Answering the call to battle as always were Thiji’s Angels, along with the local dance troupes and Matanga warriors who supported them. Sesena Sena, leading the vanguard alongside Umimi, had been withstanding the brunt of their attacks, while Lilina was putting her new Reveler’s Trance to good use, dousing the bombs’ explosive attacks with the power of water, and causing unstable detonations with lightning blasts. Susuna, using her uncanny speed from her stints as a Rogue, kept the flanks secure, zooming around the battlefield thanks to her Red Mage abilities, while also tending to any wounded alongside Koyuki, who came from the Othard Branch to offer assistance while Yuanji dealt with Telophoroi attacks in Doma. Sosona, Meriri and Lelena provided artillery support atop the backs of adamantoise, striking at the Voidsent from their vantage points while also sealing any portals that were opening. Luluma, together with Veeveena, supported the dancers and Matanga lest they would find themselves surrounded. The explosive menace was being contained. Meanwhile, Thiji was astride Glacius, heading to the battle site with due haste alongside Suki. The words of his mother echoed in his head… “Embrace your sorrow. Accept it, and bring the beauty of winter to your friends and foes.” Then he remembered the times he participated in the Feast – the everlasting contest of might that pitted adventurers against one another, vying for dominance and bragging rights as they fought tooth and claw to be leaders of the pack. He recalled the resplendent armor he wore: winged motifs and a figurehead of the Fury proudly displayed on his chest. This Halonic armor was like a second skin to him during his stint as a knight, and he reveled in the glory of battle for which Halone was well known. “Your dream of becoming a Sorceress’s Knight is not dead.” It was time for the beast to be let loose once more. But he was going to do so in his own way. As the assault upon the shore continued, a roar was head from beneath the waves, with such magnitude that it shook the earth, commanding the attention of all as they looked toward the source of the sound. The area went silent for a moment, then something in the water began to stir. A pair of horns emerged from the deeps, followed by spines and glowing blue eyes. As it approached the shore with its cumbersome gait, a hulking brute which towered over the jungle canopy showed itself, letting loose another roar that would terrify all but the Angels. “So that’s the ringleader, huh? A Muud Suud!” Veeveena pointed out. “That thing’s technically a Gigas, right? That means we can get some Giantsgall from its blood!” Susuna remarked. “The Brugaire Consortium’s still outsourcing for these!” “Ever the resourceful lass, aren’t ye?” Meriri chuckled. “Orders, Miss Sena?” Before Sesena could even have the time to give any commands, the remaining bombs fell back to the shoreline and merged themselves into a massive grenade, taking to the air and landing in the hands of the Muud Suud as it began discharging unstable fire-aspected aether. The creature had intended to incinerate the surrounding area with an explosive fastball special! “Oh, shit…” Sosona calmly stated. The lumbering behemoth of a Voidsent clutched the grenade in its right hand as it primed itself, rearing back in preparation to throw. “Good Matanga, fall back!” cried Veeveena. The elephantine warriors gave a few trumpeting noises and sequential stamps of their feet in response. Thankfully, there was a certain oddity of an Angel who did a study of Matanga language to translate… “They say that they’re going to hold this line, even if it costs them their lives!” Lilina stated. Sesena sucked her teeth as she rose her shield. “Then we can get behind the adamantoise! We have no choice but to mitigate the impact of the blast!” spoke one of the dancers. With a swing of their hips, they protected the area in a pinkish barrier as Sesena dug her mythrite katzbalger into the sand, causing a pair of angelic wings to sprout from her tower shield to augment the zone of protection as the other Angels and locals took cover behind her. The Muud Suud then let loose a mocking laugh as it chucked the grenade with all its might at its victims. Everyone did their best to brace for the impact, its massive size casting a shadow over the area. As it touched down, it released its payload, going out in a tremendous blaze of glory, the force of the impact sending everyone skidding along the sands… The battlefield went silent again as the Muud Suud chuckled, seeming to have succeeded, but when the smoke had finally cleared, it let out a questioning grunt as it noticed something odd: the area suddenly began to snow! Sesena, raising to her feet, beheld the sight, as well as the bodies of the defenders strewn throughout the beach. Everyone seemed fine save for a few burn marks and damaged clothing. Even the adamantoise were relatively unscathed. “No casualties, Miss Sesena,” Luluma reported after giving a scan of the area. “But I’m not sure how to explain this sudden weather change.” “I think I have an idea…” Veeveena interjected as she turned toward the jungle. Out from the shrubbery layer emerged Glacius in his blissful barding, along with his mate, who began tending to the wounded with their curative abilities. One could only imagine who next followed after them… “The Mythrite Sultan…!” gasped one of the dancers. Whispers began to be exchanged between the others as Thiji began making his way down the beach… “Slow, small strides; eyes shut; calm demeanor; arms behind back… Analysis: this Muud Suud’s fucked, now,” Sosona concluded. Veeveena bowed her head low as he passed by. “We held as best we could, My Sultan,” she said. Veeveena then caught a glimpse of the items attached at his waist and gasped. “Wait – those are…!” Thiji continued his advance until he reached the point in which the tide flowed furthest inland, his footwear barely touching the waters, staring down the massive Voidsent before him. Then, there was the strumming of an oud which came from behind them. Everyone sans Thiji turned their heads and saw Mimizo, a smile made apparent on her face as she approached the Angels. “Valide-” was all Koyuki could get out before she was interrupted by Mimizo. “Angels, pray join me,” she requested. “You will want to see this.” Without hesitation, they took the instruments and fell in beside the Mythrite Sultan’s mother, while the locals clapped to the rhythm, and Matanga and adamantoise kept time with their stamping feet. Thiji would then brandish his weapons as he began to twirl on the heel of his foot, throwing a flurry of frost at the Muud Suud’s face so as to incite its wrath. Easily taking the affront as a challenge, the hulking brute balled a fist and prepared to strike at Thiji. Just as the hit would land, the Mythrite Sultan dashed with a spinning finish past its left leg, leaving behind a streak of ice blue as he did. Now entering the water, the aether Thiji gathered kept him atop the surface as it began freezing over! “Wait… Wait…!” gasped Lilina, pointing out the spectacle. Thiji dashed once more to its other leg as the Muud Suud attempted to retaliate, throwing a fan at its hip, which it would then let out a pained growl in response. As he continued befuddling the Voidsent, it was becoming clearer to the audience… “The ice formations… the freezing waters… It was our Sultan all this time?” Lelena asked. “I even feel that sadness from looking at it all… Holy hells, it was our lord!” Susuna deduced. Thiji’s attacks and movements left behind small motes of ice-aspected aether, and he leapt in time with the clapping rhythm, leaving tiny spots of frozen water around the Voidsent to confuse it until stopping again directly behind it. The Muud Suud rose both arms to smash Thiji into the deeps. But too little, too slow – the Mythrite Sultan once again zoomed between the creature’s legs, returning back to shore as he began to perform a Step. Though it gave off a different aura than the usual Standard or Technical. This one gave off strands of blue and white as snowflakes began twirling about the Sultan’s form. The crowd, awestruck at this unique dance form, slowly stopped their music. Now Thiji was stepping to his own beat – which is just what he wanted. A pas de bourree, an arabesque, a glissade, a chasse, and a flourishing fouette later, Thiji released the aether stored into a powerful burst of ice and snow. Everyone shielded themselves from the frigid gale, trying their best to catch a glimpse of the spectacle. The Muud Suud sustained considerable damage, and as it reeled back in agony, Thiji continued his attack. With glacial agility, he skated along the frozen sea, assailing the Voidsent between graceful lutzes, whipping axels, and tricky salchows, culminating in a frigid Saber Dance which struck at the creature’s arms, pinning it to the ground in ice spikes. Thiji then stopped behind the Muud Suud once more, jumping on and running along its back before vaulting off and performing a spinning maneuver with his fans outstretched, using the centrifugal force to levitate safely back onto land. With the Voidsent sufficiently immobilized, it was time for the finisher. The Mythrite Sultan went all out as he performed a frenetic series of gyrations, jumps, and twirls as he collected the aether generated from the defenders’ efforts, along with the ambient ice clouds that littered the beachhead. “Is this the Crimson Lotus…?!” gasped Luluma. “No… It’s too… blue.” “We’re not about ta die, are we?” Meriri said with a worried tone. “’Cause that’s a lot o’ aether he’s gatherin’!” “Hold your ground, Angels; you are safe,” Mimizo reassured. She spectated with a light grin as she watched her son show his true colors. All of the aether he could possibly contain – and perhaps more – enveloped Thiji in bluish-white as he performed a dash toward the injured Muud Suud, glaring daggers at the creature who had dared to encroach upon his home before he unfurled his fan. What followed was a sound akin to that of a shrill ring – he struck diagonally upwards, leaving a streak of white in his path. He then descended diagonally downwards, landing on the ground with another white streak left in his wake. He would repeat this attack thrice more as the aetherial streaks formed a star around the Muud Suud in a fivefold attack. At each point was a large bluish-white lotus that twirled slowly in the air. Upon returning to his starting point following the fifth strike, he slowly rose to an upright position before furling his weapons. What followed after a beat of silence was the violent display of exploding lotus petals as aetherial blades of silver and blue surrounded and cut into the helpless Muud Suud from all directions. This would, of course, free the Voidsent from its bonds, allowing it to strike at Thiji one last time in defiance. With a guttural roar, it mustered all its strength to deliver a downward slam with its fists. Thiji was still, maintaining his position, for the climax was not quite over yet. The gashes and wounds left behind from the initial attack left behind residual ice-aspected aether, which sort of kept the beast from bleeding out. It was because of this that the Muud Suud could still stand. But it would not stand for much longer as the aether’s glow began to intensify, turning a bright white. The beast ignored this reaction and continued its attack, but just as its arms were within ilms of hitting the Mythrite Sultan…
*BOOOOOM!!!*
A glacial explosion with force and sound not unlike that of a firework erupted within the Muud Suud’s body, blasting its arms clean off as they were flung into the far ends of the beach! Everyone was in awe at the wintry spectacle, though they shielded themselves from the ensuing rain of blood with some convenient parasols, ensuring that Mimizo was unscathed. “GIANGSTALL MINE, HERE WE COME!” Sesena cheered to herself. The other Angels couldn’t help but chuckle until they focused back on the shore. The icy detonation conglaciated the Muud Suud’s body, inside and out, leaving behind a diamond sculpture of a corpse. The tide would rock the Muud Suud’s frozen remains back and forth until it would finally tip over, shattering into a storm of dancing frost particles and lotus flowers. And in the midst of this wintry scene of gelid spires and frigid formations… was the Mythrite Sultan, standing silently with eyes closed. “Well, we did it, girls,” Sesena congratulated with a sigh, “and in no small part thanks to our lord’s timely intervention. Let’s see to the rest of the region before heading back to the city.” “I shall tend to our Matanga allies! I shall make my return to the Othard Branch afterward!” Koyuki stated. Lilina translated to their beastmen friends, to which they would graciously accept, before following them back into the jungle. “Never in my life have I ever witnessed such beauty and grace… and great sadness,” uttered one of the female dancers with a hand to her heart. “Lady Mimizo, what know you of this spectacle?” The Valide Sultan advanced several paces forward, gesturing towards her son. “My beloved Thiji is a proud son of Thavnair,” she began. “He has faced countless obstacles, and endured myriad hardships. And any seasoned dancer knows that what truly separates masters of the art from fools twirling around bladed rings… is their soul. It is the source of all emotion – it is their spirit, their conviction from where it springs. My beloved Thiji has ever been fascinated by the colder climes. He has developed a love for it, for winter and all things associated. And anyone who understands the soul of winter to its core knows what lies beneath its dazzling beauty; its stark, silvery splendor…” Mimizo gave a pause as the snow fell upon her hair and cheek, basking in the scenery with the others. All were moved by her words, most of all Veeveena, who was practically in tears. She kept her composure, but the mere sight tugged at her heartstrings, which only made it difficult. “… It is sorrow; the silent lamentations of a damaged heart. The Kriegstanz, though redoubtable in its own right, could not convey such emotion, for it was created solely to reverse the Danse Macabre – the Totentanz. This dance, invented by my son, wears his sadness like a glove, and becomes an extension of himself, dominating the battlefield with the switness and alacrity that only a master of ice-aspected aether can muster. It is a performance that expresses one’s longing… and turns it into something truly beautiful.” “What does he call it, Queen Mother?” Meriri asked. Mimizo gave another pause before slowly turning towards the Angels to give her answer…
“… The Eistanz.”
It was at this moment that Veeveena, unable to keep it together any longer, fell to her knees in tears, succumbing to the powerful emotions drawn by this scene, coupled with Mimizo’s explanation. Sesena hurried over to her fellow Angel to comfort her. “You okay, Miss Veeveena?” she asked as she rubbed the Advisor’s back. Veeveena quickly dried her tears and met Sesena’s gaze. “Yes… It’s just… so beautiful… so powerful,” she replied, staring once more at Thiji, still motionless and silent. “Could this… truly be the man to whom I may one day be wed…?” “Dear Sesena, pray maintain your current orders and ensure the surrounding environs are safe,” commanded Mimizo. “Miss Veeveena shall escort us back to the city.” “Yes, Valide!” acknowledged Sesena, leading the others back into the jungle, and leaving the three alone to their devices. “I’ve known that handsome Lord Thiji for many years,” Lelena began as she ordered her adamantoise away, “but never in my life did I imagine him being this… well, powerful!” “None of us did,” Luluma followed. “But if there is one thing I’ve learned from all we’ve seen, it’s that anything in this realm is possible. It is clear now why he is no longer embracing the life of an adventurer.” “A true king doesn’t seek war, but always prepares fer it!” Meriri exclaimed. As the beachfront was clearing out, Veeveena and Lady Mimizo were finally left alone, with Thiji still in the distance. The Valide Sultan slowly lifted the Advisor to her feet and comforted her with a reassuring hand to her shoulder. “My Lady,” Veeveena said in a hushed tone as she choked back tears, “am I truly worthy of this man…? Could I truly help fulfill his dream…?” “If you were not, dear Veeveena, I would have not taught you so well,” Mimizo softly replied. “As Valide Sultan, it is my duty - my charge - to seek potential suitresses and train them to become worthy prospects for my son. But remember: this our last resort per our deal. A lot may happen within the next two summers, so we will leave this to the hand of fate. But I meant well what I said to you moons ago; he will have his Sultana, for a man of such elegance and kindheartedness is deserving of such."
"Valide, let me go to him... He must know... my lord must know," Veeveena pleaded, her grip on Mimizo tightening somewhat. The Queen Mother chuckled as she shook her head.
"No, dearest," she declined. "You need not rush this. The effects of the Eisenstanz are influencing you. While your heart may be true, it is still far too soon. I wish to give my son this chance - to see if his Sultana is truly out there somewhere, waiting for him."
Veeveena once again dried her tears and smiled, getting herself back together. Grasping her weapons in hand once more, Veeveena steeled herself and was prepared to escort Mimizo back to the city proper. "Glacius. Suki. Pray watch over my son," the Valide Sultan requested, to which they would nod in acknowledgement before joining him at the shoreline. The Mythrite Sultan, now alone with his thoughts, had his gaze fixed out towards the sea for about a half-bell’s worth. Glacius and Suki sat quietly by his side to keep their master company. Lifting his gaze to the heavens, the clouds would slowly part, giving way to the light of that silvery star that always shone its light so proudly amidst the evening sky. Thiji squinted his eyes at it, seeming to revile its luminescence, but his countenance softened after a moment, his annoyance subsiding as he would slowly climb on Glacius’ back and giving him the order to move. His trusted companion took to the skies with his mate following suit, leaving the frost-kissed shore alone until it would eventually dissipate into diamond dust...
“I always despised You, Menphina... but I see now as to why You share the domain of ice alongside Halone. ‘Tis no small wonder why the Wanderer longs for You so. But it is thanks to You and the Spinner that I have tapped into a new strength, and with Halone ever at my side, this power will help ensure Thanvair’s protection, as well as the safekeeping of my allies. There are still moves to make before the adventurers set their sights eastward.”
Glacius eventually dropped his master off at the balcony of his bed chambers in the Main Branch Headquarters, where Nyra was eagerly awaiting Thiji’s return. Once done so, he ordered his chocobos to assist the Angels in their efforts, and they would fly off into the jungles below. He then laid upon his sofa, relaxing with a pitcher of Winter Lassi that remained from his previous conversation with his mother. He scoffed before taking a long sip, gazing back at the moon...
“I was never one to question Mother’s judgment, and even though I carry my sorrows with me... perhaps, when all of this is over... she will finally come to me. ‘Til then, they will have to deal with Thiji sor Higuri, Mythrite Bachelor, and the Knight bereft of a Sorceress.”

Fire Dwelling Salamander: Fire Dwelling Salamander’s are magical creatures that can be found all across the world. These creatures have scarlet red skin and black eyes. Additionally, the Fire Dwelling Salamander is engendered from fire which is where they live throughout their entire life. The temperature of the fire affects the color of the lizard. These creatures can only live outside of the fire in which they were born but only for a total of six hours if fed pepper. If the Fire Dwelling Salamander’s fire goes out, the lizard dies as well. The blood of the Fire Dwelling Salamander has healing properties and is commonly used in potion-making. One of these potions includes, the Strengthening Solution. These creatures are vulnerable to the Freezing Spell (Glacius), the water-conjuring charm, and the Knockout jinx. There is an alternative species of this creature called the Frost Salamander, which is associated with ice.

Pathcode #HOGWARTS
I’m going to talk a bit about the inspiration and the idea first, then about my process of working with movies in terms of organization. I’ll then go over each individual edit and talk about why I chose the shots I chose for each member, the difficulties that came up and I’ll also share drafts and alternate versions of some edits.
This post is extremely tl;dr, so here’s the sources real quick:
Font: Neoteric
Member Emblem PNG (Just a heads up, the background of the page is dark and the emblems are black so you might not see them right away, but they’re there.)
I don’t remember if I got the idea to make a Harry Potter crossover before or after Pathcode came out. I do remember though that Tao’s Pathcode gave me Harry Potter vibes for some reason. When thinking of a crossover I knew I wanted it to be superpower related right away.
At first I wanted to do Exo x Harry Potter spells, but when thinking about it, there isn’t necessarily a spell you could match with every superpower. Take teleportation, for example. When thinking of teleportation in the HP universe you’d think of apparition, floo powder and portkeys, but there isn’t a spell for it per se. So it quickly became Exo x Harry Potter... things.
I wrote down everyone’s names and power and made a list of things that I could think of related to each power. I then watched the movies and took screenshots of everything that might be useful for this edit. At some point I realized that that wasn’t really the best way of doing this, because I would look at the screenshots and be like ‘well ok but what is the movement, and how long is it?’ it just wasn’t enough to help me determine which shots I wanted to use. Another thing I realized was that the first movie came out in 2001, and the last one in 2011. 10 years can really make a big difference in terms of visual effects; it’s quite fascinating when you look at the first and last appearances of Voldemort, Dobby, Fawkes and the Whomping Willow; so I figured it was a better idea to start watching the movies from last to first, so I wouldn’t feel the need to consider every random scene that has fire in it for example.
Instead of taking screenshots, this time around I wrote down the timecodes for everything with a short description of what it was. Then I extracted the frames and tagged every folder with the relevant member. After doing that I could watch a member’s Pathcode and then go through the HP scenes to compare and get a better idea of which shots could work together.
I knew I wanted the format to be approximately a 5:7 ratio with 10 gifs, 268px width each, and be one half Pathcode, one half HP with the members name, power and emblem in the middle.
So, while going through the HP shots, I realized there were a lot of great ones and I wasn’t going to be able to use all of them, and while making some of the edits I realized that it was difficult to blend them together well in the middle, so I decided to use some extra shots to help the transition look smoother. I hadn’t accounted for that while watching the movies though, so I wasn’t specifically looking for shots that could be useful for that. Some of them were quite tricky to figure out, but I’ll get to that.
I’m gonna go over each member’s edit individually now.
Kai | Teleportation:
I chose apparition for him. I think it’s the best fit visually. Alternatives were floo powder, which, you know, the powder itself just kind of looks like rough sand and when used, it creates a green fire, which to me was just reminiscent of Chanyeol, as his power is fire, and Slytherin house because of the green. It just didn’t seem like a good fit. The other alternative was a portkey, and since that’s always an object, the point of focus would have been that object as opposed to the teleportation itself. I had also briefly considered using Alohomora, since his emblem is a keyhole, but given the other options, this one felt kind of unspectacular. The shot I ended up using is from Deathly Hallows Part 2. It’s faceless, which helps focus on the effect and the coloring matched well. For Kai, I wanted to use the shot of him actually teleporting, but you can’t see his face there, so I used the other bit of his Pathcode where you can see his face (everything else is in black and white and shaky, his Pathcode is kind of a nightmare to edit with) but in that scene he’s on the very left side of the screen, so there was too much space to his right and it looked really empty, so I opted for blending both shots together. For the middle I tried using the bit from Goblet of Fire where they’re teleporting with the old boot, but that just didn’t work at all. So then I used the slow mo apparition shot from the very end of Deathly Hallows 1, where Bellatrix throws the knife at them as they apparate (which is kind of sad, because we all know how that ended...) Here’s a very early draft with a different Pathcode clip:
Tao | Time Control:
So for Tao it was either going to be the Time Turner, the Hogwarts clockwork or the hourglass. I had also written down Arresto Momentum, but watching the scene I probably didn’t think it would work. The amount of green in the shot with the hourglass feels very reminiscent of Slytherin house– now I’m not about to start making assumptions about who would be in which house, but I always felt that Tao would make the perfect Draco Malfoy. The hourglass, I realize, doesn’t have as much meaning as Time Turner, but I just remember seeing it in the sixth movie and thinking ‘I need to use this.’ There was just something about it, and with edits like this I generally try to find a compromise between meaning and aesthetic. The person tapping on the hourglass (I don’t remember if it was Riddle or Slughorn doing that) kind of feels like a nod to time control as well (in this edit at least. In the movie it’s probably more so about the scene being a flashback). And since I’ve always found clockworks really cool, that worked nicely as a transition shot.
Chanyeol | Fire:
This one was kind of a no-brainer, because it was either going to be Fawkes or some random fire spell. When I was still watching the movies in the right order I was a bit worried though, since Fawkes in the second movie looks like those animatronics you’d see at a theme park, and especially that scene where he bursts into flames just does not look great. And I wasn’t sure wether he shows up anywhere later in the movies, but he does! In The Order of the Pheonix... so that scene was perfect actually. There was also a cool scene in Goblet of Fire, when the Durmstrang guys come in and blow fire in the shape of a bird. I tried using that as the transition shot, but that just failed horribly. I also tried the scene where Hermione sets fire to Snape’s robe in the second movie, but that didn’t look good either. I ended up using a shot from Chanyeol’s Pathcode for that, because it’s a flame with a completely black background, which doesn’t do a great job at blending the top and the bottom gifs together per se, but unlike the other two shots I tried it doesn’t look like a stripe in between the two gifs, and it still gives them a connection.
Xiumin | Frost:
I think I knew right away that I wanted to use that shot of Ron’s hand on the window from Prisoner of Azkaban. It’s always been one of the most memorable shots from the whole series to me. Other than that, the only thing I could think of for frost was the Glacius spell, which is not in the movies. Anything do with frost in the movies is either when it’s actually winter, the Yule Ball or things freezing over when dementors come around. There was a really pretty shot of a flower freezing when a dementor flies by in Prisoner of Azkaban, but it’s one of those things that looks nice when you watch it, and then when you turn it into a gif, it doesn’t have the same effect. With the window freezing up around Ron’s hand, you can kind of trick yourself into thinking he’s the one doing it, so I think it works well for showcasing a superpower. For the transition in the middle I originally wanted to use the frost at the end of Xiumin’s Pathcode, but it didn’t look very good. I tried to find stock footage of something similar, but couldn’t find anything that really fit, so I ended up using a scene from Prisoner of Azkaban where the lake freezes over towards the end. I tried some different options for Xiumin’s part of the gif:
I like the one on the right because of the cold breath and the hat, it fits the theme, but overall I found the shot I used in the final version more intriguing.
Lay | Healing:
For him it was either going to be Phoenix tears, Unicorn blood or that healing spell Snape uses on Malfoy in the sixth movie. Since Lay is often nicknamed Unicorn, using Unicorn blood felt kind of cruel, and while it makes you immortal, it does’t exactly have healing powers. Phoenix tears really works best here, because in the shot the healing aspect of it is shown really centered and precisely compared to the healing spell:
For the transition shot I originally wanted to use the mistletoe growing when Harry and Cho kiss in the fifth movie. I tried really hard to make that work, but no matter what I did with it, it still looked awful, so I settled for the flower at the end of Lay’s Pathcode. I did try different variations with Phoenix tears and the healing spell, but as you can see, those just look very odd. For Lay’s shot I wanted to use something where you could see his sweater well, because the giant W on it really reminded me of a Weasley sweater. Playing off of the yellow lighting in Lay’s Pathcode, I wanted to make the overall coloring yellowish as well, but I just wasn’t happy with it. I tried making it more reddish, but that wasn’t right either:
It felt like it just didn’t want to be yellow (or red), so I started over and tried to focus on enhancing the natural coloring and just really amp it up. It worked much better and made the skin and wound stand out a lot more so it really draws attention to the healing effect.
Sehun | Wind:
With this one, I wasn’t quite sure at first. Nothing particular came to mind for wind. A few things related to flight maybe, but that’s a different power. I looked up whether there was a spell or something. So there is a spell called Ventus, but it’s not in the movies. When I watched the first movie I think I decided on the Snitch quite easily. I’m not sure how to explain it, but it just felt right. I still looked at other things. There were some scenes at the ministry of magic where stuff is flying around, and a scene with wind in the maze in the Goblet of Fire. Those felt a bit random. For the transition in the middle I originally wanted to use footage of a dandelion in the wind, like the one shown at the end of Sehun’s Pathcode, but once again, it looked more like a stripe in the middle. I ended up using a scene from the Exordium VCR. Here’s a few variations I tried out:
Chen | Lightning:
Chen’s was probably the easiest to decide on. It had to be the lightning scar. I mean he even dressed up as Harry Potter before. The only difficulty was finding the right transition for it. So I used the lightning from the very end of Deathly Hallows Part 1, but the rest of the sky was really dark and heavily graded, so it wasn’t really possible to make it look decent enough. Again, I looked for stock footage, but whenever I look for something specific, you could probably make bets on that I won’t find it but then somehow stumble upon it some time after I finish the edit I needed it for. I remembered Sehun’s Pathcode having a shot with a cloudy sky, so I used that, but it didn’t quite look right:
I kind of left it like that and started working on other edits, so then while watching D.O.’s Pathcode, there was a quick shot, which I didn’t remember, and it worked perfectly together with the lightning.
Suho | Water:
This was the first edit I made for this set. It came together by just experimenting and trying to figure out the layout. That’s also how the idea with the transition gif came about. I had written down quite a few things for water; The Aguamenti spell, the black lake, the faucet in Goblet of Fire when Harry takes a bath, the sea in Half Blood Prince (that’s the transition shot). I went for the water spell Dumbledore uses when fighting Voldemort in the Order of Phoenix, because it looked the most impressive, the most magical and it gave more of a sense of having the power to control the element. Coincidentally, it worked out quite well that the movement in both gifs kind of makes it look like Suho is controlling the water with his hand (even though you can still see Dumbledore doing it with his wand).
Baekhyun | Light:
Lumos and the Patronus charm were obvious choices. A less obvious choice was the Deluminator, which is very cool of course, but visually it doesn’t have as much of an impact as the other two. I knew which shot I wanted to use for Baekhyun’s part. For the transition shot I originally wanted to use the Patronus when it comes out the wand as a burst and have it rotated. So this is what that looked like when I tried it:
It definitely looked a lot better in my head. This is just a draft of course, but even if I had cleaned it up, I just don’t think it would have worked. After that I thought about what Baekhyun’s Patronus would be, and I felt like it would be a dog. It slipped my mind that Ron’s Patronus actually is a dog and I oversaw it when watching the movies, but after looking it up I went back and used that instead. I tried a bunch of different variations and had a hard time deciding what the final version should be:
So after a while I got goosebumps after looking at what ended up being the final version, and that’s when I decided on it. (It may have been the lack of sleep, honestly.)
D.O. | Earth:
I made this edit before Power came out and his power was officially changed to force rather than earth. I think force is a more fitting term actually, since most of the time his power is shown as superhuman strength. But what did that mean for this edit? Usually he’s always shown breaking the earth by stomping or making boulders fly, in his Pathcode however, there’s none of that. His Pathcode is really interesting when you think about it. Now, this is my own interpretation of course, but to me it seemed like there was a connectedness with nature (which made sense with his power being earth back then). There’s also a sense of connection to the other members, a sense of control, and the feeling of the calm before the storm. I believe the hint for his Pathcode was beginning = end. So with all of that, I had a lot of ideas of what I could do. I considered the Bombarda spell, and generally anytime something blew up in the movies. But all of those things seemed really random. I considered using the Grim (who isn’t actually the Grim) because it matches his emblem (commonly described as ‘the Beast’). Even the Maurauder’s Map and the inscription on the Snitch; “I open at the close.” seemed like things that could work. In the end I decided on the Whomping Willow. I thought it made sense in a lot of ways. It’s a tree, so that obviously fit with the nature/earth aspect of it. It’s calm most of the time, if you don’t mess with it, but once you get too close to it can and will whip your butt. It also hides a secret passage to the Shrieking Shack where the majority of the film’s climax happens. I know some might see it as ‘just a tree’, but honestly, it makes perfect sense to me with everything I said about the Pathcode earlier. The transition between both gifs is from Deathly Hallows Part 1. Since it’s trees falling and shaking the earth it had both aspects of his power. I wanted to use more of the shot, so you could also see the leaves of the trees, but it’s a very long shot with a veeeeery slow focus pull and I just couldn’t include all of it.
This time, instead of putting the gifs on the same canvas to see what worked together, I saved them out individually, since they all had a very different amount of frames, and then uploaded them here on tumblr and moved them around so I could get an idea of what the final version would look like.
Whenever you see the Whomping Willow in action, it doesn’t have many leaves and the coloring and lighting doesn’t go with Kyungsoo’s Pathcode that well, and while that can be worked on, overall it just doesn’t fit the energy at all. Sometimes that kind of juxtaposition can be interesting, but for this, I wasn’t feeling it.
So I decided on a more calm, more vibrant shot that really channeled the earth/nature aspect.
These were some alternate options for Kyungsoo’s part:
I chose a scene where he’s outside because unlike the two above, it wasn’t too close or too far away, and there’s a plant, so it makes it more cohesive with the Whomping Willow.
For the final touches, I put a frame around the edits on soft light. It just helps bring everything together and center it a bit more. I wanted a font that was simple, but modern. I also tried a serif font, but liked the one I used better. I actually had the hardest time centering the member’s names and their power evenly between the emblem and the frame. I often struggle with the simplest of things and get extremely frustrated if I can’t figure it out. I tried to google it too, but I didn’t quite know how to word it. In the end, I figured it out somehow by doing some math and using guides. So I hope that the alignment is somewhat correct.
Overall, I’m very happy how everything turned out. I think it’s still my favorite edit I’ve made. I’m happy I could combine two things I love and I hope that everyone who likes both Exo and Harry Potter can enjoy it.

🗝️ our muses share a quiet moment @sonder1x1
Glacius was thankful for the moment of peace, he was sat upon a railing ofsome sort with his legs hanging free. His body still radiated some frost, since he had recently returned to his human-like form. He had managed to snaganother criminal and hand them over to be arrested, it was a job well done.He could relax, even if only for a moment. “You did good out there.”

Harry and Voldemort were right in the middle of the Great Hall when they faced off against each other.
Utilizing the training he got with Mammon and Alberto, Harry didn’t engage Voldemort directly. He retrieved one pebble he had already infused with his lightning flames beforehand and threw it in the air.
“Engorgio”
The pebble grew in size that it managed to hide Harry’s form from the Dark Lord. The pebble shielded Harry from the killing curse Voldemort cast.
Voldemort tried using the killing curse multiple times but the pebble wasn’t even scratched and this annoyed the Dark Lord to no end.
“Coward Potter?” Voldemort taunted.
“Coward? Never.” Harry retorted as he got out of hiding and pointed his wand at the enemy.
“Aqua Eructo.”
High levels of water pressure pushed the Dark Lord back a few paces, the Dark Lord was able to regain his footing and defend himself from the water expelling charm Potter cast. He was, however, soaked from head to foot and was now standing on a puddle as a result.
“Glacius.”
Cold wind began to be expelled from Harry’s wand. It froze the water puddle and Voldemort in his place while frost began to form on the Dark Lord’s cloak and skin.
“Clever Potter,” Voldemort praised. “Clearly Dumbledore managed to teach you before he passed, but not clever enough.”
Voldemort drew a circle above his head with his wand and conjured flames that encircled him, melting frost and ice off of him.
“Saggita”
Harry flicked his wand in Voldemort’s direction a number of times and sent an equal amount of arrows flying towards the Dark Lord.
A simple flick of the wand, Voldemort was able to defend himself from the conjured arrows, none of them made were even able to graze him.
“Arrows, Potter? I suppose you were raised by those detestable muggles.”
Voldemort soon went on the offensive as soon as the last of Harry’s conjured arrows were destroyed. He sent a number of curses in the Potter’s direction.
As soon as Harry realized that his opponent was on the offensive, he immediately cast a shield charm before hiding behind the enlarged pebble he set up earlier.
“Where’s that Gryffindor courage Potter?” Voldemort questioned as a bluish beam was expelled from his wand. “Are you just going to hide like the Hufflepuff with you?”
“Excuse you!” Harry flared. “Cedric wasn’t a coward, I chose to hide him so that Wormtail won’t kill him.”
“Reducto”
Harry sent a reductor curse towards his opponent as soon as he finished defending his friend.
“If Hufflepuffs were cowards, we wouldn’t be fighting today!” Cedric called out as slabs of stones rained down on the Dark Lord.
A few moments since both opposing spells met, Harry’s disarming charm was slowly but surely overpowering Voldemort’s killing curse.
Voldemort drew an arc facing the falling stones, disintegrating them into dust particles.
“You insult Hufflepuffs.” Harry called out.
“Saggita”
Harry summoned arrows once more and sent them flying towards his opponent.
“But they’re the one thing you aren’t!” Harry continued his spiel once he finished incantation for his attack. “They’re humble and loyal.”
Voldemort ignored Harry’s words as he opted to cast more spells towards his enemy, to which Harry was able to defend against or evade altogether.
The exchange of spells between the Dark Lord and the boy who lived continued for a few moments until Voldemort declared.
“I tire of this Potter.”
“Avada Kedavra!”
“Expelliarmus!”
Two beams of light were expelled from both combatants’ wands: one green and one red. They met at the center and tried to overpower the other. It didn’t take long for the fighting around Harry and Voldemort to cease as they watch history unfold their very eyes.
Cedric’s eyes were on Voldemort and Harry all the while casting levitation charms on small glasses, to which he positioned it around both battling wizards. As soon as he was finished, he enlarged them, preparing himself if things would go wrong.
If there was one thing Cedric was able to take away from his time as a Triwizard Champion and battling at the Department of Mysteries, both events was him up against Voldemort and his band of Death Eaters, it was to be prepared for every outcome.
The killing curse might nullify shield charms, but it can’t pass through tangible objects.
If for one moment Harry’s disarming charm would be overpowered, he can immediately dispel the levitation charm and let the glasses and intercept the killing curse.
"Coward Potter?”
“Coward? Never.”
made me think of
"Scared, Potter?"
"You wish."

Glalie for Pokken Tournament DX!
We’re almost done with these rewrites. I just have Aerodactyl left.
If you remember my old writeup, I pointed out that Glalie is literally just a floating ball and therefore a pokemon inconceivable of being a fighter for Pokken Tournament. Well, if you look at Glalie’s old pokedex entries, it reads that it is able to control ice and make any shape it wants. So that’s what we’re working with here, a little bit of Glacius from Killer Instinct and maybe a bit of Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat.
Really, at this point, the only limit to putting a pokemon in Pokken is their size, and even then, I think they’re taking some liberties like with Pikachu and Mewtwo (in which case there is almost a 5 feet difference between them). But yeah, here’s Glalie for Pokken Tournament.
Glalie’s stats are a flat 80 across the board, and its movepool conveys a sense of balance between physical, special, and all sorts of status moves. Bite, Ice Fang, Headbutt, Ice Beam, Frost Breath, Dark Pulse, Hail, Double Team, Leer, as well as the common teachable moves available to most pokemon. Naturally, Glalie’s stronger moves are in the special category, such as Blizzard, Freeze-Dry, and Sheer Cold. Even though it’s Mega Evolution turns it into a more offensive attacker, Glalie embodies the Standard fighting style.
Like with Diancie before, Glalie has an important move to point out before its other moves, and that would be Neutral A Ice Shard. Glalie will began charging and forming ice crystals around its body, forming five of them in the span of 5 seconds. Glalie gains most of its damage output through these Ice Shards. Pressing A when Glalie has five Ice Shards makes it shoot one at the opponent. Each Ice Shard flies across the field very quickly and aims at the opponent very precisely, meaning Glalie can snipe with Ice Shard from afar. You can double tap A twice to instantly shoot one shard if you have less then 5 (at max, you’ll fire two ice shards). At full Ice Shards, you can rapidly press the A button five times to fire five Ice Shards back to back. While charging Ice Shard initially, you can press R to cancel the charge and input a direction to dash out of the way (One Ice Shard is generated every 1 second, canceling before the first Ice Shard is made will leave you without one). Stockpiled Ice Shards will float near Glalie in a star pattern. In addition to being a projectile, Glalie can choose to consume these Ice Shards to extend its combos or power up its Pokemon Moves. Any notable examples will be listed below as they go.
In Field Phase, Glalie takes up a moderate amount of space with its size. It’s a little smaller than the average Glalie, but still a threatening size. Glalie has above average movement speed and is able to direct itself in the air when it jumps, granting it great movement options.
In Field Phase, Neutral Y is Ice Beam. Glalie reels back and charges for a bit before firing a fast beam of coldness at the opponent. This move deals a small amount of damage and deals multiple hits. Holding Y while using this move consumes an Ice Shard to extend the duration of this attack, allowing you to hold an opponent down or chase them as Glalie tracks with this attack (even with five Ice Shards, you cannot break a healthy Guard). Glalie will not aim up at opponents in the air, but will still track them if you choose to extend Ice Beam.
Side Y is Spikes. Glalie bounces a little as it tosses four small spikes made of ice forward. These spikes maintain an active hitbox as they’re out and will last until Glalie uses Spikes again or the opponent steps on them.
Forward Y is Icy Wind. Glalie zooms forward as a trail of cold wind swirls around it surrounding Glalie with an active hitbox that deals very small amounts of damage. It then stops and exhales, sending the gale outward at the opponent. During the dash forward, you can press Y to spend an Ice Shard and upgrade the power of this attack (the more you want to power it up, the more you must press the button). One Ice Shard turns this move into Frost Breath, increasing the size of the attack as well as the damage. Three Ice Shards turns this move into Powder Snow, adding small snowballs to the wind and increasing the damage. Five Ice Shards turns this move into Blizzard, increasing the size of the attack and dealing huge damage to the opponent. All versions of this move come out at the same time.
Back Y is Headbutt. Glalie will jump upwards suddenly with force. This move can combo into Ice Fang with A. Pressing Y during this attack will have you shoot into the ground diagonally downward, burying Glalie slightly. Hitting an opponent with this forces a hard knockdown, but no followup is possible and leaves Glalie vulnerable if you miss or the move is blocked.
Jumping Y is Hail. Glalie will conjure a ball of light blue energy between its horns before unleashing ice to fall all around it. Holding Y allows you to power up this move by spending Ice Shards. No Ice Shards casts a small field of tiny ice balls to fall all around you, dealing no hitstun to a grounded opponent (jumping opponents will flinch). One Ice Shard increases the radius and damage slightly and deal hitstun. Two will increase the size of the attack and deal more damage, increasing the size of the hail. Three will double the amount of hail that falls, increasing damage even further. Four turns the hail into large ice chunks and can deal huge damage to enemy guard. Five turns the hail into boulders, making this attack unblockable and deal huge damage. The Ice Shard will be consumed very quickly when charging (one every 0.4 seconds). While wide in range, there’s a blind spot behind Glalie and an opponent can simply walk behind you and followup with an attack, so be careful not to charge this move for too long and leave yourself open.
X and all variations are Rollout. Glalie will bury itself slightly and start spinning in place on its side. This move has a 1 second long startup lag and cannot be cancelled. During the startup lag, you can press X to consume Ice Shards to power up this move. With no Ice Shards, Glalie will skid forward a bit before stopping, allowing you to move, jump or even attack very quickly out of this. With one Ice Shard, Glalie will roll at the opponent as it is covered in icy spikes and leave a trail of ice in the dirt. This move deals multiple hits and will force a Phase Shift. With two Ice Shards, the ice spikes grow even larger and Glalie can break guard and force a Phase Shift on hit. Glalie will only consume up to two Ice shards for this attack. This attack can be Countered and can be forced out of with projectiles. Side X has Glalie curve as it rolls in all variations of Rollout. If Glalie attacks its own Substitute (see below) with this move, it will allow Glalie to break guard even without two Ice Shards (any spent Ice Shards power up this attack still). Back and Forward do not change this move at all and will perform Neutral X when used.
Jumping X is Avalanche. Glalie will fly straight forward as ice forms behind its trail. This ice then falls to the ground in the order it formed. Afterwards, Glalie will drop to the ground with endlag. Holding X allows Glalie to spend an Ice Shard and allows you to continue the attack from where it would finish. The Side X variation has Glalie zoom in a diagonal direction and trail ice with this attack. Following up with a spent Ice Shard, You can zoom forward, backward, or diagonal again. You can only spend one Ice Shard with this move and extend this move once. Hitting an opponent with two Avalanches will force a Phase Shift.
Glalie’s Counter is Payback. Glalie will charge a dark power around it before unleashing a wave of darkness a short distance from its body.
Field Phase Grab is Iron Head. Glalie will form a set of arms made out of ice and clamp the opponent with them. On confirm, Glalie will trap the opponent with its icy grip and then charge and release a headbutt, shattering the ice and forcing a Phase Shift.
Duel Phase Grab is Bite. Glalie will open its small mouth and lunge a bit to grab the opponent with its teeth. On confirm, Glalie will chew twice before lifting them up into the air with its mouth, twirling as it does so, and then tosses the opponent into the ground and force a Phase Shift.
In Duel Phase, Glalie has the ability to cancel its Y and X moves into Y moves at the cost of an Ice Shard (its Jumping Y and X cannot be cancelled this way). Glalie’s base attacks are already weak, and the damage output will decrease due to combos weakening your attacks, so Glalie will commonly spend Ice Shards to finish a round more than dealing damage.
Neutral Y has Glalie lean forward a bit and stab with an ice horn it forms immediately.
Crouching Y has Glalie form a tall icicle extending from the floor in front of it, capable of reaching a jumping opponent.
High Y has Glalie extend the length of one of its horns with ice, reaching high above the opponent’s head.
Forward Y has Glalie charge forward with a gale of cold air surrounding it, traveling a short distance.
Back Y has Glalie summon an icicle from a few feet away pointing at itself. This icicle reaches very close to Glalie and almost stabs it, but Glalie leans back expectantly as the icicle almost hits it. This attack will send an opponent tumbling toward Glalie.
Jumping Y has Glalie shoot downward as it forms itself into a wide icicle and strikes the earth with it. Jumping Up Y has Glalie perform the same attack, but it double jumps before attacking, striking with extra distance.
Neutral X has Glalie form two blades on either side of it and slashes them at the opponent, from its left side first and breaks the sword before swinging to the right, breaking the other blade as well.
Crouching X has Glalie leap up from its crouch with a long blade horn and slashes upward, capable of sending opponents upward.
High X has Glalie form a crude hammer out of ice and swings it down. An opponent struck by this move will be sent upwards with a hard bounce.
Forward X has Glalie turn sideways and form an icicle out of itself before zooming forward with its body.
Back X has Glalie form a string of icicles on the ground from a few feet in front of it, which then travels to Glalie before stopping. Airborne opponents will be juggled towards Glalie with this move.
Jumping X has Glalie form six icicles around its body and covers its two horns with ice, making itself a spiked ice ball. This attack deals multiple hits and knocks the opponent upward a bit, allowing ground attacks to chain into a combo if you’re fast enough. Neutral Jumping X sends Glalie tumbling forward in a curve before landing. Down Jumping X sends Glalie tumbling straight down. High Jumping X sends Glalie tumbling diagonally upward with a bounce. Forward and Back have no variation and will instead perform Neutral and Down X respectively.
As stated before, Glalie’s Neutral A is Ice Shard, and it’s super important to Glalie as it allows it to power up its moves and increase its combo potential. In Duel Phase it’s especially threatening as it can use it to extend its combos or spam Y to potentially beat out a counter in the small window of vulnerability (on some counters). You must keep track of your Ice Shards to maximize your damage output and to keep yourself safe.
Forward A is Freeze-Dry. Glalie will cover a small area a short distance away from itself in ice, which will then melt. An opponent caught in this area will be frozen for a second, allowing Glalie to followup with whatever move it wants. Glalie can restore its Substitute with this move. It is capable of hitting a jumping opponent, but the size of the hitbox makes this very difficult. This move is functionally identical in both phases.
Back A is Substitute. Glalie will dash backwards and leave an ice sculpture of itself behind. Glalie will automatically spend one Ice Shard to make this Substitute. If Glalie has no Ice Shard, Glalie will lose 90 HP (which becomes recoverable HP). If a Substitute is already out, Glalie will dash backwards and not make a new one. If Glalie has no Ice Shards and less than 90 HP, it will be left with 1 HP and the Substitute will always break in one hit. This Substitute can take up to 90 HP of damage, although it will instantly break if Glalie attacks it or if the opponent has an Attack Boost. While out, the Substitute can take projectiles (not lasers) and block an opponents path (an opponent will not be able to stand on the Substitute and will instead land beside it). If Glalie breaks the Substitute, it will send shards of ice in a shotgun pattern forward. This move is functionally identical in both phases.
In Duel Phase only, Down A is Sheer Cold. Glalie will cover itself in thick ice for a brief second before melting it off. This is a counter move and will only activate if the opponent attacks. On a successful counter, Glalie will explode with a flurry of ice and icicles protruding in all directions. If an opponent is caught in this attack (depending on the range or if they used projectiles) they will be stuck frozen solid for two seconds as Glalie frees itself from the ice. Although this move deals modest damage, Glalie can proceed to combo or generate Ice Shards freely.
In Duel Phase only, Up A is Crunch. Glalie will break the ice off of its face and open its mouth widely. Afterwards, Glalie will shake its head and reform the ice, leaving itself vulnerable. This is a grab move, but it has armor, protecting it from attacks. If an opponent jumps into Glalie (whether they were attacking or were being juggled by Glalie’s attacks), it will then clamp down and bite repeatedly before leaping up and slamming them down into the ground, dealing heavy damage. As this move has armor, it must be baited out since Glalie is vulnerable after this move, which makes it tricky to use even if you have Substitute out.
Jumping A is Ice Fang. Glalie will form a set of teeth made out of ice and chomp twice, flying towards the opponent. Pressing A again allows Glalie to repeat this move at the cost of an Ice Shard, but it’s homing ability makes it possible to chain six Ice Fangs together.
Glalie’s Burst Mode is Mega Evolution. In addition to an increase in power (actually much less than typical burst mode boosts), many of Glalie’s moves increase in size. For the sake of brevity, the most notable changes will be listed here. Mega Glalie will start generating Ice Shards automatically every second (attempting to spend an Ice Shard without one will result in an ignored input). Ice Shard’s projectile becomes bigger. Substitute becomes larger. Freeze-Dry becomes wider and reaches slightly more into the air. The size of Mega Glalie’s Duel Phase X attacks become much larger and have more range. It becomes easier to force a Phase Shift in Duel Mode (to balance out the fact that Ice Shard regenerates automatically and can be spent to make an infinite combo).
Glalie’s Burst Attack is SUB-ZERO CRUSHER. On activation, Glalie freezes the earth around it and forges four arms of ice around it. These arms then reach into the air to try and grab the opponent. This attack will fail to hit a grounded opponent. On confirm, more ice hands reach out and grab the opponent, slowly crystallizing them into an icicle. Once frozen over, a giant ice sculpture of Mega Glalie appears in the background and proceeds to bite down on the opponent. All of the ice breaks away after the final hit, returning both fighters to the battlefield.
Glalie’s synergy gauge builds very slowly, requiring lengthy combos to fill. Glalie’s Burst Mode lasts a below average amount of time. Glalie’s Burst Attack deals moderate damage, but has a limit to how low it can get despite combos reducing the damage. That limit is 40 damage at the minimum, meaning a combo chain must lower the opponent’s HP to this amount to guarantee victory.
Glalie’s High Stance allows it to dodge Low Moves. Glalie’s Low Stance allows it to block Low Moves.
Glalie is a combo monster, able to spend its Ice Shards to deal extensive damage through multiple hits. A good Glalie player will always have one on them and will be careful not to fight for too long without one. Because of the length of its attacks, its range is crazy and can keep opponents in the danger zone. In fact, because it can spam Y attacks with Ice Shard, Counters aren’t guaranteed to work because of the chance they’ll hit during the vulnerable attack animation. This makes Glalie rather scary from all distances, and that’s all thanks to Ice Shard.
Unfortunately, it’s reliance on Ice Shard makes it vulnerable to aggressive rush down. Sure, it has Substitute to put a wall between it and the opponent, but Glalie will only be able to get one more Ice Shard out of it (which it had to spend to make the Substitute unless it was forced to use its HP). Of course, Glalie does have the option of breaking the Sub itself and punish aggressive approach options, but even then, Glalie’s defenses will eventually crumble, especially if the opponent has an assist to boost its attack (of which there are many). Freeze-Dry is a problem, though, as is Sheer Cold, but Glalie is still made out of ice, and that armor will eventually weather away. If you can survive the blizzard, you’ll come out on top.
This has been a writeup for Glalie in Pokken Tournament DX. I actually ended up forgetting the Counter moves, so I’ve gone ahead and edited those in the previous writeups. Of which, they are Torterra, Nihilego, Diancie, Claydol, Registeel, and Aerodactyl (okay, not this one, but it’s still a link to the old version before I rewrite it). I’ve got one more rewrite left, but you can still message me about a pokemon you’d like to see in Pokken. I’m all ears!

"Games? That sounds... Exciting?" She bit her lip and tried to organize her thoughts. "Do you own a casino?"
Her nervousness was beginning to show, and she exhaled a small plume of frosty breath. She moved a bit closer to him, trying to play off the frost as cold from the rain.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Rhys," Rei told him, smiling up at him. He was quite handsome - she had been lucky to run into him. "I... My name is Rei Todoroki, but please - just call me Rei. If you have to use a last name, then we can use Glacius."
frozen-shattered:
A look of momentary confusion crossed her features, but then she nodded again. “Of course,” she agreed, a small smile growing on her face. His voice was so pleasant to listen to, and he was handsome, too. “Wh - where are we going? I’m not familiar with this part of town…”
The fact that he could be leading her somewhere to brutally murder her, or torture her, or otherwise have his way with her never even crossed her mind.
“Thank you for offering your help, and for getting me out of the rain.” She smiled up at him. “What was your name, sir?”
“My workplace, I’ve rooms for private games, we can speak there.” He replied, humming softly to himself once more, “It’s out of sight so not many know wheere it is….well…some people.” There was a shrug and if they weren’t out in the rain he’d twirl his umbrella in a gesture but the smile would have to do- she was a pretty one, delicate like a doll but has seen some wear and easily trusted him possibly due to this….hm. He’d have to learn more to decipher what would be the outcome of their meeting.
“Truly not a problem my dear.” He replied, brushing her off would be rude but he truly did not mean for her to thank him, a small smile reformed and he bowed a little, “Zachariah Rhys, at your service and to your aid…and you?”

✂ - for Hiltwin to rescue Adelger from danger
Hiltwin released a bludger, to practice his beating for the quidditch team, and after a good ten minutes of hitting the ball around, it suddenly took a dive, heading towards the woods, he followed it on his broom, and all too late, he realised it was heading towards an oblivious Adelger walking along a path. He tried to close the distance on his broom, but swiftly realised the Bludger was far too fast and far ahead to catch, so in the last possible moment, with a loud ‘pop’ he apparated in between Adelger and the bludger, smashing it into the ground with a great 'CRACK’. Despite a huge dent in the side, and it being in a mini crater, it shook as if it was about to take off again. drawing his wand, he pointed it at the ball “glacius!” he bellowed, a great stream of ice flying from his wand, covering everything in a ten foot radius of the bludger with a thick layer of frost, and the bludger it’s self in a casing of ice. “Sorry about that” Hiltwin said, suddenly shy, instead of the cool and confident individual he had been a moment ago.

Having men try and seduce him was something that Paul was rather used to, since during the time he wasn’t a Hero, he worked as a stripper at one of the largest gay clubs in Domino City, so of course men were happy to throw money at him then offer to fuck him into a sleazy hotel mattress, but of course he didn’t accept. But this man, he had been so captivated by him, at least it was away from the club so he wouldn’t get a scolding from his boss for sleeping with a client. No this man wasn’t a client, but Glacius had offered him a strip. The Ice Hero was bent over now, the other’s cock drilling away into him with needy moans so happily spilling from his lips as well as a grin. With every thrust, push and anything else he was being so eagerly blessed with, frost would slowly build up on the windows, the air around Glacius would grow cold despite the warm tightness of his hole. But this? He didn’t want to change a thing.

Valide’s Vow
Several turns of the sun have passed since the first appearance of that strange arctic occurrence in Thavnair’s jungles. There have been sightings and reports all around the region of similar happenings: glaciated waterways; rime-encrusted shrubs and small spires of ice which glistened like crystals beneath the moonlight, all wrapped up in a beautiful spectacle of snow and frost.
Though these were ephemeral, and would not last longer than a bell’s worth, the Near Eastern natives and tourists alike who came upon these sites beheld them in awe.
Yet as they would remain in the immediate area to bask in this irradiant scenery, their hearts and minds were overwhelmed by feelings of sadness – of longing and loss – so powerful that some knelt to tears at the stark beauty of it all. These indelible waves of emotions moved even the dancers of Radz-at-Han’s troupes, yet they would find themselves hard-pressed to properly move, attempting to use these areas as backdrops for their performances.
Even the Kreigstanz’s efficacy was suppressed.
What was the cause of this breathtaking yet mystifying sight? Where next would it arise? Even the Angels of the Regalia were investigating these events, while others kept the looming threat of the Telophoroi at bay across the realm. For now, however, there was peace within Radz-at-Han, and the sun would begin to set over the land.
Within the Regalia’s Main Branch Headquarters, Thiji Higuri sat upon his usual sofa, garbed in his exclusive Wamoura robe as he silently watched the Near Eastern sun fall over the horizon. Nestled across his lap was a claymore made from pure mythrite he had brought over from the Aldenard Branch. His fingers ran along the cool metal of the blade, staring down at the engraved statement as though he were in a trance.
“As long as you make it out of a battle alive, you are one step closer to fulfilling your dream…”
The words echoed in his mind, along with his memories of the past – some glorious, and some painful. Nyra, who had been perched atop the back of the sofa, was resting her eyes before she heard footsteps approaching behind them. Her master was too engaged with his mulling to even acknowledge it until he would see another hand resting upon the hilt of the claymore. Thiji lifted his head upwards to find his mother, Lady Mimizo, grinning with a tall glass of Winter Lassi ready for him. He could never deny a glass of cool lassi, and eagerly took it, as his mother quietly removed the blade from his lap, resting it against the sofa with the blade down. She sat next to him, taking another glass from the end table before taking a few sips of her own.
“Your generosity is boundless, my son,” she opened. “How are you faring after the Largesse?”
He was silent. Not because he did not have an answer for her, but because he did not know how. But Mimizo knew her son well, and could easily persuade him to speak his mind. She reassured him with a soft hand upon his, staring directly at the Mythrite Sultan. “Naught but us are here, my beloved son. Do not be afraid.”
“Not afraid, Mother,” he began. “I am merely… tired. This realm always has problems arising, and despite all the efforts these ‘adventurers’ keep expending to stave them off, I had not dared to believe that things would soon arrive at our doorstep. Our non-aggression pact with Garlemald maintained our neutrality between it and the other continents, and we flourished immensely as a result… Now the same sick drama unfolds again, and all the realm faces conflict.”
“And we will see it through together!” Mimizo stated. “Yes, you may have hung up the mantle of adventurer, but that means naught. You are still more than capable of defending our home without bearing such a title. And perhaps this is all a sign! You may have kept your edge sharp with your secret training, but perhaps it is now time to show Hydaelyn what the new and improved Mythrite Sultan can do.”
Thiji sighed, reclining in his seat as he took another long sip of his lassi. He wasn’t in the mood to go charging into battle and felling scores and scores of whomever or whatever was unfortunate enough to stand in his path of carnage. Thiji may have enjoyed the life of battle and glory for a time, but that was behind him. He is now the head of one of Eorzea’s most prominent providers of the gemcraft and textile industry, not to mention one of its foremost fashion empires. And just recently, he has essentially become a beacon of generosity and goodwill thanks to their Fourth Annual Largesse, which had just concluded not even a sennight ago.
“New? Improved? Perhaps…” he spoke. “… But I don’t wish for that life again – stamping out primal incursions and the occasional onslaught of ravenous beasts; delving into parts unknown to pacify the surrounding area… Such stress would only accelerate my aging; my ice blue and silver white tresses would turn grey before I even reach thirty.”
And even if he did return to the forefront, a thought lingered in his head – more painfully irksome than any obstacle he has thus far faced. He needed to finish the remainder of his lassi in order to get it out, however…
“And what of my dream, Mother…? What of that?”
Mimizo paused for a moment, looking over her shoulder to inspect the claymore with Nyra. She then placed her glass on the table and scooched closer to her son. Thiji’s gaze remained fixed to the setting sun, his eyes welling up with tears, which made Mimizo’s motherly instincts kick in.
“Oh, Thiji… Let it out, my son,” she cooed, comforting him with an embrace only a mother could give. He did not sob, but silent tears did indeed fall from his smooth face, and Mimizo did her best to dry them, not wanting to see her firstborn’s face marred so. “The dream you so cherished is a beautiful one indeed. There is nothing nobler and purer than fighting to protect someone you love so dearly. And when you return from the peril – when you emerge victorious amidst the ashes – your dearest is there, welcoming you back with open arms. Even when the entire world was against her, you stood your ground – just like the knight did in the play.”
“But I am no knight, Mother,” Thiji replied with his head lowered. “I don’t even have a sorceress… All my aspirations – all my desires – ‘twas all weighed upon realizing that romantic dream. I pursued this for so many winters in a desperate bid to uphold the title of Sorceress Knight, only to be shunned again and again by the cursed Lover and Spinner both. What am I now?”
“A man with nothing to lose,” Mimizo quickly answered, as if she had waited to say that for many moons. “There are many things in this realm to be feared, and one of which is a son of man who has seen much, been dealt enough cruel hands, and endured numerous hardships. You became a Dark Knight after what transpired in Coerthas, and from there you channeled your emotions into a weapon. You were younger then, but now those same feelings have been honed – refined into something deadly. You have tamed it, Thiji, and now you can control it into a power far greater than what you’ve wielded thus far.”
The lamenting Sultan looked past her mother to see the object beside the end table - the picture his niece and nephew drew of him holding hands with the Sultana of his dreams. It was a reminder that somewhere, she was out there, waiting for him… somewhere.
“Your heart is enormous and golden, my son. Those who are the most gracious and kind are the loneliest; those who are the most downtrodden always wear the brightest smiles, and those who are the most damaged and broken… are the wisest. This is nothing to be ashamed over – it is a universal truth. Your sorrow… your grief… your loss… your longing... you’ve made it into something beautiful, and it stands before you to this day: the Regalia. Your Angels would agree, as would your father. Your dream of becoming a Sorceress’s Knight is not dead.”
Nyra flew down and perched herself atop Thiji’s head, reassuring him with a nod. “Even Nyra is with you, as is Glacius,” Mimizo added. He still seemed unsure about that statement, given how long he has been without a Sultana. Some people were even referring to him jokingly as the “Mythrite Bachelor” for arguably being one of the longest-running single nobles in the realm. Little did Thiji know, however, that his mother would have plans for him in the coming summers.
Moments later, they would receive a ring from his linkpearl. Thiji had immediately regained his composure as if nothing had ever happened over the past few minutes, answering the call while Mimizo listened in.
“My Sultan! It’s Sesena! We just spotted a sizeable army of Voidsent bombs approaching from the south! We’re holding them off at the beachhead, but they seem to be attracted by all the ambient aether from these weird ice sites!”
“Or it’s probably due to the fact that the Moonfire Faire’s coming early…” Sosona joked. “We’re not sure who or what’s leading them, but we know they’re close if they appearing in such numbers.”
“Ensure they are contained within the southern beachfront; if any of our native warriors are present, support them as necessary,” Thiji ordered. “I will join you anon.”
“Yes, My Sultan!” Sesena and Sosona replied before ending the transmission. Thiji’s countenance became one of tranquil fury as he jumped from his sofa to obtain the claymore, only to be stopped by a soft hand to his forearm.
“No,” his mother said sternly with a shake of her head. Her son arched a brow, questioning Mimizo’s actions. Then, she would lift the folds of her outer robe to reveal a pair of bladed fans that were holstered at her waist. The Mythrite Sultan’s eyes widened upon acknowledging its appearance, meeting his mother’s gaze with a slight head shake.
“They’re not ready for this, Mother,” Thiji said in defense.
“Precisely, Thiji,” Mimizo immediately replied, “which is all the more reason for you to make them get ready. Victory in battle is important, but so is making a statement. You, my first and greatest son, who has helped bring our slogan and motto into prominence, have all the capabilities to show our enemies why they should never cross the Regalia or the Near East’s finest. Show them your true power, Thiji.”
He hesitated. Thiji always tried his hardest not to reveal his well-guarded secret that was his redoubtable skill as a dancer. However, there was no reason to fear, for the enemy was at his doorstep, and the only ones who would bear witness to his performance were natives of the Near East. Realizing this, he sighed away his doubts and turned away from his mother, making his way to the dresser where he would begin donning his dancer attire: a shirt-and-sarouel combo, with babouches to match. After checking his nails for any blemishes or marks, he nodded to his reflection before Nyra provided the finishing touch: the blue hydrangea corsage, which was nestled right above his left ear. Once his transformation was complete, he eagerly took the fans from Mimizo, who was grinning from ear to ear. Grasping one in each hand, they gave off a soft hum, pulsing an icy blue as it resonated with his aetherial signature. Thiji then flicked his wrists, unfolding them as they released tiny particles of frost from their bladed tips, beholding the majesty of these weapons for but a brief moment before folding them once more.
Mimizo approached her son and cupped his face with her hands before giving him a loving smile.
“Now you are most rightfully equipped, Thiji,” she spoke. “Embrace your sorrow. Accept it, and bring the beauty of winter to your friends and foes. Steal their hearts; make them weep; leave them breathless. Everyone has their part to play, and you’ve been on an intermission for far too long. And now the stage is set, my son. Your finest hour awaits.”
With empowered resolve and vigor, Thiji holstered the fans at his waist and left the chambers. Nyra flew in close after him as he would then begin to call for Glacius and his mate, Suki, to carry him into battle. And as the Mythrite Sultan would vacate the Main Branch Headquarters and the city-state proper, Mimizo watched silently as he disappeared into the jungle thicket, her brows furrowed in determination.
“Thiji… whether it comes a moon from now, or two summers hence, I swear that, on my title as Valide Sultan, you will have your dream restored; you will have your Sultana…”
“I swear it.”
