Minos Lore: The Great Exodus of the Heylites.
Part 2: The other side of the Sea.
The dates of these events are unclear. Even in scriptures recovered by the Archman thousands of years later are vague in describing the time at which Heyles and his devotees left the Northern Continent. The reason for this is unclear, but the main theory among Scholars is that the Fendalites tried to erase the existence of Heylites from their culture. A few Heylites stayed in Wielden but the vast majority left with Heyles. And all we know about their time of departure was that it happened before the Sian himself departed and went to the Lunar Archipelago with his people at the start of the Third Millennium and before the King Patrius Mortallus unified the Mortals into one kingdom in 2110 BC.
After the Heylites left the weapons produced by the Wielders had an obvious drop in quality. They began to lack the edge and versatility they had before. They were still better than any other faction but it was never the same.
Meanwhile, after apparently traveling for a full month on board the Helianmast fleet, the Heylites landed in a mysterious land in the East. Heyles was recorded calling the sea they just crossed the Helian Sea, a name that would only be used by fisherman and merchants since the common folk rarely sailed. What the Heylites saw when they reached this unknown land is unclear. Books such as the Tales of Nory by Ellius Nory and Great Voyages of North Minos by Scholar Miurius say that Heylites came across a race of people that even the North Minosians had no knowledge. The very few documents that describe them say they were a race reminiscent of Mortals. Some say they might have been descendants of the very first Mortals to have every set foot off the continent, legendary students of Sian led by their leader Orid of Calamine. But these theories have never been confirmed as their is no evidence of where either Orid or his crew landed in their faithful voyage at the start of the Second Millenium. All we know is that a war ensued between the approximate two thousand Heylites and this mysterious race of people as documented in the journal of a Mordir Janings. One of the few known Heylites.
The result of this war was obvious. The Heylites with their superior weaponry were able to defeat and drive out the people that once inhabited the forests of East Minos. What happened to these people afterwards is not known. Some say they went extinct from the bloodshed. Others say they fled so far south into the unknown regions of the Eastern continent that they were never seen again. No matter the case, Heyles called upon the power of the Fathers and in doing so erected his greatest creation, the Great Tree of East Minos in the center of their new land. After that the Heylites settled own and began calling themselves the Tecronomes. They would eventually establish a mountain kingdom and rejoin North Minos via the Library of Doors, but that would be centuries later during the 6th or 7th Millennium.

Minos Lore: The Great Exodus of the Heylites
Part 1: The Origin
The Heylites were Wielders who were faithful followers of the Minor God Heyles, one of the children of the Wielder Father. Heyles was known as the Great Blacksmith since his gift was for forging the greatest weapons and artifacts ever made. He used the lave from the Volcano of the Setting Sun as his forge (with permission from the Celestials of East Covern, who lived there at the time. They got a piece of everything he made). The Wielders were faithful towards him as he taught them how to make weapons and other stuff. He was also the smartest of his siblings and was the one who drew the plans for the Wielder's first ever major city, Wielden, the soon to be capital of their future empire.
Heyles had a few siblings, his twin brothers were Fenres and Dayres, the Minor Gods of the Blade and Shield. They were fighters and were the teachers of many Old Ones like Sirigmund and Valion, the Wolf of the West. Their sister was Eraline, the Greatest of all Archers. She was credited for creating archery and was the teacher of Nurien. She was also a strategist more than a fighter but she was most known for her pinpoint accuracy with her bow which she named Eranmire.
So even though the Wielders were considered subjects and therefore shared property between their Gods some Wielders leaned more unto the combative and violent way of his brothers rather than the passive ways of Heyles. This created a rift in their society with the devotees of Fenres and Dayres (The Fendalites) seeing the Devotees of Heyles (The Heylites) as weaklings and Heylites seeing the Fendalites as barbaric and savage. Even among the Minor Gods there was a feud between Heyles and his siblings. He wanted the Wielders to remain in their city of Wielden and live peace while his siblings wanted to expand an create an empire like the Mortals. This ended with a five year war between Fendalites and Heylites known as the First Blood War of Wielden (Their would be a second one later but for a completely different reason). During the war many would die cutting the population by about a third. Heyles knew it could not go on. So he gathered his followers, took one last look at his great city of Wielden and left. Their he traveled to the Souther Shore and met up with Sian the Sailor. Sian would build him a great fleet of a thousand ships called the Helianmasts and with it Heyles set sail and headed out to sea with his followers.

Minos Lore: Mortal Dynasties
Hey, everybody. So you know how the White Lord says in Chapter 7 of Book 3 that the Fangmire line was actually the fifth dynasty to rule the Mortal Kingdom? Well I thought I might as well clarify that so here are all the dynasties along with the amount of time they lasted: 1st Dynasty: Mortallus - (2110-9112 AC) 7012 years 2nd Dynasty: Hyrinius - (9112 AC - 112 DC) 2111 years 3rd Dynasty: Nyrshires - (112 DC - 220 AC) 909 years 4th Dynasty: Firemayne - (220 - 982 AC) 762 years 5th Dynasty: Fangmire - (982- present) 150+ years
There are several other things to mention. The Firemaynes would later be named Bloodmaynes and Redmaynes in later generations due to most of them being considered bloodthirsty and slightly deranged, something that most people associated them with after oe of their princes, Prince Heralidion, did the most gruesome and violent acts imaginable earning him the nickname 'The Scorcher'. One of the Firemaynes defining features were that all of them had red/orange hair which contributed to their name.
The Hyrinius and Nyrshire lines were both related. The Nyrshires were actually a branch of the much larger family of Hyrinius. So while the Hryninius line were kings the Nyrshires took their former place as Lords of Azerheim and Lords of the Hypoint, their castle. The only reason the Nryshire's came to power was because all the members of the Hyrinius line died in the Crisis which left the Nryshires as the next family in line for the throne.
The transition between the Firemaynes and the Fangmires happened because of a two year war known as 'The Smothering of Flames' due to Lord Artemis Fangmire, Lord of Fort Fangmire, falling in love with Firemayne princess and declaring war on her slightly insane brother who no one really liked (which is why many states ended up supporting him).
I would say the most peaceful transition was between the Hyrinius's and Mortallus family. After the last king of the Mortallus line, King Mayridius IX died at the age of 127 (since the kings of of the Motallus line lived longer than regular Mortals due to them being related to the gods) and his son Mayridius X was allegedly assassinated before he could become king there was no one left in their line so before his death the king had every noble gather in a place now known as Castle Mortaly (later known as Seeker's Keep) on the island of Oridia (Later known as Seeker's Point) and let the choose who would be fit to rule after his death. Most of them picked the Hyrnius's as they were the largest and most powerful non-royal noble family at that point and they had the added bonus of King Mayridius being childhood friends with the grandfather of the current Lord. So he didn't object at all ( although there were several minor disputes and battles between the people who voted for the Hyrinius's and the people who voted for their competitors the Lirmonts of Orheim).
So that's about it. I couldn't go into any detail or this post would be a book in itself.
