What if Aziraphale wasn't on earth between 1941 and 1967?
What if, the same way Crowley was brought back to Hell in 1827 Aziraphale was recalled to Heaven in 1941?
Hear me out: Aziraphale has been making slow but steady progress within his character arc right? In 1941 at the end of the night, sharing drinks with Crowley in the bookshop, Aziraphale was willing to accept that things are not always black and white and sometimes there is room for shades of grey (albeit very light grey). Compare this to his thinking concerning Elspeth. Aziraphale kept flip flopping back and forth over whether Elspeth's actions were good or bad. He didn't seem to consider her actions were ethically complicated. In his mind they could either be good or bad depending on whatever information came to light in the moment.
It also seems that after the church, the magic trick, and the shades of grey discussion, Crowley and Aziraphale are back on good terms with one another. At the very least, talking and willing to spend time together again. Other than the mention of how easily accessible the holy water is in the church, Crowley doesn't seem to mention or allude to his request again. However, in 1967, it feels like their interactions are strained again. Aside from the awkwardness and tension in their conversation, it's also strange that Crowley is surprised to see Aziraphale in the Bentley (despite being PARKED IN FRONT OF THE BOOKSHOP) and that Aziraphale is only aware of what Crowley is up to through second-hand means “I work in Soho, I hear things." (You don't need to 'hear things' when Crowley is conducting those things IN FRONT OF THE BOOKSHOP)
So what happened? My theory: Aziraphale has been serving out a punishment in Heaven since 1941.
Fandom consensus seems to be that there is a 1941 pt. 3 coming next season and many are hoping for a kiss or something undeniably romantic (I am too ngl). But what if it's actually a scene where Aziraphale gets dragged back up to heaven?
Shax said that 80-90 years ago was the first time that she heard about Crowley and Aziraphale being an item. We can assume that this 80-90 years ago was during Furfur’s failed evidence presentation to Dagon and F(r)iends.
A lot of demons were hanging around in that scene. It wouldn’t surprise me if one of them (or Shax herself) got in touch with an angel in Heaven and let them know about the rumor downstairs of Crowley working with an angel on Earth.
Obviously, Heaven can’t allow that, and who else could it be other than Aziraphale? He’s the only angel down there, so they recall him. Without evidence though, and given that (1) it's a demon's word against an angel's; (2) less than a century and a half ago, Gabriel awarded Aziraphale a medal for his work on earth (bookstore opening cut scene); and (3) as far as we know, Aziraphale hasn’t had any major offenses other than frivolous use of miracles, I don’t think Heaven can really do much. That doesn’t mean they don’t do anything, I just don’t think they do anything like use hellfire on him or make him fall.
Despite the lack of evidence, Heaven still has to make an example out of Aziraphale for getting caught working with a demon. I think whatever punishment Heaven doles out, keeps Aziraphale up in Heaven for a long time.
(Small tangent: If it can be traced back to one event rather than a slow progression over millenia, this rumor is also probably what makes all the archangels be so cruel to Aziraphale (or at least finally gives them permission to act on what they’ve been wanting to do for ages). Maybe this is when they start looking into Aziraphale’s past endeavors and notice Crowley everywhere.)
It could be worse, if there had been evidence, it would have been worse. Still (Aziraphale might think), this is Heaven, 'the side of good', they wouldn't take it too far. He probably received a trial before his punishment began. And yeah the trial is more for show than anything else, but it's not like Hell would have bothered with any of that. Hell would probably delve right into whatever torture they'd decided for punishment. His time spent in Heaven, no matter how intense the punishment, would have been a breeze to tolerate compared to what Hell would do to Crowley. Speaking of which...
By the time Heaven lets Aziraphale back down to Earth, I think he would be a mess of mindless worry. He had just come to terms with his feelings for Crowley after all. Maybe this is why Aziraphale decides to give Crowley the holy water after all. He's had more than enough time in Heaven to realize that as much as he wants to protect Crowley and keep him safe, all that intent means nothing if he's stuck in Heaven because of his own carelessness. In Aziraphale's absence (or destruction), holy water could keep Crowley safe, at least from Hell, even if it is dangerous. Once Aziraphale is back on Earth, when he hears what Crowley was plotting, it probably further cements his decision to give it to him.
If Aziraphale got taken up to Heaven right after the magic show, he probably has no idea if his palming of the polaroid worked for sure. The bookshop is a safe place for Crowley to be away from Hell, but how long will that last? Is it still an embassy with Aziraphale up here in heaven? Is Crowley defenseless against the other demons down there? Did Hell come for Crowley after all even without evidence?
So how long is Aziraphale gone for? We already know that after Crowley got sent back to hell in 1827 and Aziraphale didn’t see him again for “a very long time.” The next meeting we, as an audience, see between them is the holy water request in 1862. So at worst, Crowley's been in Hell for ~30 years. Heaven probably would have taken Aziraphale back for a similar amount of time. And wow look at that, 26 years ago by between 1941 and 1967.
There’s enough ambiguity in the set and dialogue to allow for this length of absence as well. I already wrote a post about how ridiculous Aziraphale is for saying 'I work in Soho I hear things' in 1967 when the whole scene takes place outside the bookshop and how equally ridiculous Crowley is for seeming to think Aziraphale wouldn't notice him prancing around the block plotting to steal from a church. But maybe Crowley conducting his holy water heist business all over Aziraphale's corner of Soho is because as far as he knows Aziraphale isn't around anymore. In my post, I point out that the bookshop is blocked off by the "Striptease" and "Love Shop Cinema" signs but that you can tell it’s the bookshop because of its pillars.
I admitted that it was weird to cover up half the windows, but didn't really have any diegetic explanation for it. Maybe the explanation is that Aziraphale’s bookshop has been abandoned for years. In which case, I think Crowley might be hanging around Soho caring for it and the books, making sure it doesn't get vandalized, protecting it from snooping humans, etc. (tangent: this could also be why Aziraphale says that the bookshop is both of theirs. Maybe the "plenty of use" he said Crowley got out of it was while Aziraphale was away. Maybe Crowley used it as a pseudo base of operations.)
Aziraphale being gone would also explain why, suddenly, 105 years after his initial request, Crowley is plotting to steal holy water from a church. Aziraphale has been gone a long enough time that Crowley is starting to get antsy. Maybe he’s starting to think that Aziraphale is gone for good (not dead, he is an OPTIMIST DAMMIT). I think Crowley is spurred to start the holy water heist because he thinks Aziraphale isn’t going to be assigned to earth any more and whoever they're sending down next is going to be more of a smitey kind of angel. And if Aziraphale isn’t around anymore, then the demon-proof-except-for-Crowley-bookshop/embassy is also likely not going to stop any demons from getting to Crowley whenever they want. If Aziraphale is really not coming back, then Crowley is alone again, on his own side, for the first time since they saved Job's kids. He's gonna really need that insurance now more than ever and unfortunately, he has no one else to rely on. He’s gonna have to procure it himself, even if it’s dangerous and dumb.
Aziraphale's absence (as much as I am loathe to let go of the theory that Aziraphale and Crowley are just being incredibly dramatic idiots) can also explain some of the dialogue from the 1967 scene.
“What are you doing here?” might seem a silly thing to say when Crowley is parked outside of the bookshop, but makes sense if he's reacting to seeing Aziraphale for the first time in years, so damn close it can’t be a dream, right inside the Bentley.
“I work in Soho, I hear things,” is not just a way to give the audience exposition that Crowley wouldn’t need but a way for Aziraphale to explain why he’s there.
The barely concealed desperation in Crowley's voice when wanting to give Aziraphale a lift home (despite being LITERALLY OUTSIDE THE BOOKSHOP), or to take him anywhere he wants, makes a little more sense if he hasn’t seen him in years, wants to catch up, and doesn’t even know where Aziraphale would be staying if not the bookshop.
If this theory is true and Aziraphale has been absent between 1941 and 1967, it could explain why we don't see the bookshop in the 1967 scene even though everything else in the scene points to it taking place on that corner, it would give Aziraphale a reason for deciding to give Crowley the holy water after all even though hes been stubbornly opposed to it for more than a century, and it could also explain why even though he was making a lot of progress character wise to, it felt like he was regressing again.
#good omens#good omens 2#go2#gos2#good omens meta#good omens 2 spoilers#long post#i would love to hear what you all think about this#im sure im missing stuff that this theory cant explain within the show#but it feels pretty solid to me

“So I teleported near the old city. And then, I got this strong whiff of blood.” I tell San.
We sit under the neon lights on the barstools as we rest our hands on the bar counter. The brown wood creaks under my weight, a reminder of its ancientness
I feel the bartender’s eyes widen with every word I say, as if he’s a columnist and writes the infamous gossip column catered to making the most scandalous secrets known to hell’s residents.
However, I don’t care enough and continue about my latest endeavour to a very uninterested San. The fellow demon looks like he will jump into the holy water any moment, if given the chance to cease his existence.
“I saw a girl on her knees begging someone to love her.” I say and a small smile greets his lips. “She looked delicious and I’m telling you, she smelled sweeter than an elixr.” I continue and the bartender bends down to access the lower cabinets of the counter, all while his eyes stay hooked in my direction.
“And what’s better than trapping a human in distress? So I thought, why not make my presence known? And then, mate,” I chuckle as I remember the moment she ran inside and the look that crowned her face when she noticed my shadow form, “she has the audacity to recite verses, but she couldn’t even do that right.”
“Humans are pathetic, I'm telling you." Dante agrees with me as he smiles a little, his lips thinning but not even curling a degree up whatsoever for some reason unknown to me. My heart skips a beat as my smile drops.
The clitter clatter of the glass and the chatter of the demons inside the infamous club Hell’s Inferno is constant, with fights erupting every now and then, like an active volcano.
However, today, it is eerily quiet in the dead of a full moon night.
It is unusual, but I enjoy the bourbon in my hands.
I swirl it around while taking a little peek at my dear friend, San who is playing with the end of his tail. He looks very odd today, as if he has fucked up real bad and is now going to be banished from hell. His skin looks pale as if he’s losing his colour from malnutrition.
However, as from the latest gossip and news about the duo’s latest adventures also according to the not so quiet whispers, celibacy isn’t the case.
“Mate, you look like you prevented a sin.” I say, as I place my bourbon glass on the counter and stare at him. Nothing but worry fills my heart.
“Nothing.” he replies lifelessly as if he has given up on reality and accepted defeat.
“Then, the fuck is wrong with you?” I scream.
Everyone in the club looks at me as if I tempted a human to commit a good deed.
I take a deep breath in order to calm myself down and then say,
“How’s your girl, San?”
“urm…she’s doing…umm…well!” Dante shutters. He then gulps his drink all the way and stares at the glass.
My suspicions and the word of mouth which had travelled to me earlier this week were indeed true.
Dante did associate with an angel, committed treason and is next on line to getting banished from hell.
“You fucked up big time, mate.” I chuckle as I say, swallowing the bitterness on my tongue which attempts to slip but I don't want to hurt Dante anymore.
“I know, I know…” Dante sighs. He then takes a deep breath as he corrects his posture.
“I FUCKING KNOW OKAY!” He slams the glass on the table as he stares at me dead in the eye.
“What are you going to do with this girl though?” Wow, now I am the main focus of the conversation. I look up at Dante as I lick my lips, refreshing my memory at all things I’ve been thinking to do with her.
“Tempt her, seduce her, get so deep into her mind” I say as I swirl the drink which the bartender refilled in order to infiltrate our privacy.
I gulp down the whole thing in one go and slam it on the table.
“That she’d desperately crave me like a drug.” I finished, and Dante’s reaction to my words is magnificent. He looks like a human when they see me in my demon form for a split second in the corner of their room as I give them my charismatic smile.
“But how?” Dante asks as he looks at me all confused.
I get up from the barstool and walk closer towards Dante.
“Good things take time, my dear.” I pat Dante's shoulder as I continue, “but wonderful things…” I lean in as I whisper into his ear, “takes a good strategy and patience.” I say, then lean back, flashing him my trademark smile as I turn around and make a dramatic exit which leaves everyone gasping.

Sonic ancient civilization notes (only on Sonic's direct planet);
Westside Island had an ancient civilization whose misuse of the emeralds led to ruin. Date unknown, though Aquatic Ruin shows remnants
Seaside Hill/Ocean Palace has various structures and ruins affected by the tide, alongside distinct icobography. The weathering and some areas being submerged at least dates it a century or two
Superstars has 4 ruins levels on their island, mostly deserted. The fact they have different architecture each implies at least 2-4 separate civilizations, or an evolving culture that migrated
Marble Garden Zone and Labyrinth Zone Sonic 1 has unique architecture. The former has ruins submerged in lava, the latter has ruins submerged in water. Potentially the island's shifting landmass caused both to cave in, or another unrelated disaster occured
Death Ruins in Shadow are covered in heavy moss and lichen, very clearly overrun by the surrounding jungle. It seems to be a key strategic point in the Black Arms invasion...
Soleanna has the tradition to celebrate the Fesrival of the Sun. Given the area has a consitutional monarchy, one can infer that this nation has existed for at least several hundred years
Dusty Desert in particular houses more ruins submerged in sand! And of course, the Castle of Soleanna, showing the old monarchy's influence
Mirage Road has spinning contraptions and channels to transport sand. It's tech is impressive, still functional
Water Palace similar to Mirage Road has operating pressure water pumps, underwater turbines, and water cannons
Lost Labyrinth Zone is another water flooded ruin. There's a lot of these...
Sylvania Castle spans a large coniferous area, featuring water flooded segments and relevant abandoned water milled powered platforms to cross
The Black Arms laid their flying base 2000 years ago on Earth, keeping it in reserve until the Chaos Emeralds were found. They return 1950 years later after seeing the newfound Bernal Sphere orbiting the planet, their leader making a deal with Gerald for the Emeralds, in 50 years time
Chaos ravaged Pachamac's tribe 3000 years ago and was sealed in the Master Emerald. The stragglers also created Angel Island with surrounding landmass to prevent the Master Emerald from being accessed. For those on the island, remaining members had unique art and ruins at various sites. For the area on ground, warning murals of Chaos' perfect form are displayed, now called Mystic Ruins
Wild Canyon/Dry Lagoon and surrounding desert have noted Echidna iconography. It's unknown if that civilization was related to Pachamac's, though the different iconography and habitat makes this unlikely
Holy Summit is noted set of ruins made by Echidnas alongside an extinct volcano. Connection again seems unlikely to Pachamac's tribe, though Knuckles temporarily lived here during Battle's events showing that he can leave the island if he wants to
Emerl originates from a civilization 4000+ years ago, having destroyed it due to overflowing power. Contrary to what Chronicles states, it is not specified as an Echidna tribe in OG Battle
It's unknown when Babylon Garden came to the planet, though many legends of the Babylonians are noted in other civilizations, having devolved to thinking they're genies. Their thievery was supposedly punished at one point, sinking the Garden into the ground. Sand Ruins and the Gigan Rocks are related
The Ancients supposedly crash landed on the planet 10,000+ years ago, bringing the Emeralds with them
Light/Dark Gaia have had repeated feuds every million or so years. Ancient civilizations have protected temples related to this to assist Light Gaia. It's unknown who made them, but the local communities till present day guard them

Miracles are rare in the 21st century, but watch pretty much any episode of The Chosenand they are bountiful. But the biggest miracle of all is perhaps the fact that a historical drama centered around Jesus of Nazareth (a warm and welcoming Jonathan Roumie), set in 1st century Galilee as He preaches, gains followers (and enemies) and, on occasion, raises the dead and walks on water, has built a passionate legion of faithful viewers. How did a crowdfunded production become a heavenly international sensation?
The holy cards were stacked against The Chosen from the start. Faith-based television is historically hit-or-miss. The Academy Award-winning 1956 classic The Ten Commandments, which has aired on ABC nearly every Easter season since 1973, regularly reaps solid viewership (3.2 million when it last aired on April 1, 2023). But in terms of scripted TV, for every spiritual success (think Highway to Heaven and Touched by an Angel), there are just as many failures (anyone remember ABC drama Of Kings and Prophets or the Anne Heche sitcom Save Me?).
The Chosen’s accessibility—it’s been available to stream for free online at thechosen.tv since Season 1—didn’t hurt in making the show a hit, but it also drew in curious audience members with fresh takes on well-known biblical figures that never feel out of touch. Roumie effortlessly shepherds a comforting and gentle strength in his Jesus, whether He’s confidently preaching the Sermon on the Mount to thousands or graciously healing someone in private. And He’s unapologetically human. He laughs hard and pokes fun at His Apostles, shows His frustration with hardheaded religious leaders, joyously dances at a wedding in Cana and even frolics in the Sea of Galilee.
His 12 Apostles—the actual “chosen”—come with relatable baggage, broadening their flat Bible counterparts into colorful characters. Hotheaded fisherman Simon (Shahar Isaac) scrambles to provide for his wife, Eden (Lara Silva). Later, the young couple suffers a miscarriage and Simon blows up at Jesus for not protecting them. Outsider Matthew (Paras Patel)—who has been likened to being on the autism spectrum—is lonely and ostracized from his family. Nervous Andrew (Noah James) struggles with feelings of anxiety.
The show’s female cast also shines a light on women in a time period when they were often overlooked and underutilized. The iconic Mary Magdalene (Elizabeth Tabish) deals with shame from her past, thoughts of suicide and the loss of a parent. She bonds with the honest Tamar (Amber Shana Williams) over the latter. Jesus’ caring mother Mary (Vanessa Benavente) grapples with the idea that her adult Son—the Messiah—no longer needs her.
The Chosen so beautifully weaves its many perspectives together, often creating compelling duos, like awkward Matthew finding a surprising ally in gruffly sympathetic Roman centurion Gaius (Kirk B.R. Woller).
Finally, the show brings dimension to the New Testament’s most famous lines of Scripture, and the messages never come across as preachy. They’re edgy and nuanced, with fun bouts of humor and a deep sincerity and unwavering respect for the source material.
After 24 episodes (27 if you count the three Christmas specials), The Chosen has lifted the hearts of fans, who give thanks both through an overwhelming amount of online praise and the generous crowd-funding donations that continue to raise the drama’s production quality year after year (over $40 million has been collected so far). And given that the Christian megahit has been pitch-perfect since the original 2017 pilot, we have faith that the flourishing show will only continue to collect more and more loyal disciples on its righteous journey. Amen!

Hellouu!!! I was looking for some reincarnation fanfics, with them both being reincarnated as humans and then remembering again or something like that? Thank you so much! ♥
Hi! We have some of the more well-known reincarnation fics here, so check that post. Here are a few more for you...
Damnatio Memoriae by Cryptand_Bismol (M)
Shortly after oysters in Rome, Crowley and Aziraphale are caught fraternising. God hasn't been heard from in millennia, and the punishment falls to Gabriel and Beelzebub. Having no access to their opponent's destructive tools of hellfire and holy water, each respective side curses them to live and die like humans. Only they didn't know that only God has the power to strip a celestial of their power. And instead the curse causes them to live and die as humans, repeatedly, reincarnated for the rest of time.
All My Tomorrows by summerofspock (M)
Aziraphale was meant to spread harmony, a purpose he could not fulfill in his terrifying angelic form. When Heaven's attempts to create a corporeal form failed, he was born into the world like any human, only realizing his power and purpose when Heaven Called.
Then, like any human, he died. And then was born again. And again. And again.
OR
Every generation Heaven and Hell each selected a child to be the Vessel and when the time came that the angel or the demon was needed, they were Called.
we were angels once, don't you remember? by rosetintedraybans (T)
Demons are rather uncreative. So, after the disastrous initial attempt to destroy the traitors, it’s Gabriel’s turn to exact punishment on Aziraphale and Crowley. And we all know it’s going to be anything but uncreative.
Or, no matter what Heaven or Hell throws at them, Aziraphale and Crowley will find each other time and time again.
From the Top (Say Your Lines Once More) by CoffeeStars (T)
Crowley lives and dies and wakes up to repeat the cycle. And every single time Aziraphale is there, a different face and new memories.
For A Thousand Years by FlashBastard (T)
Aziraphale is made human and Crowley is still a demon. Time does not stop Crowley from trying to find his love.
By My Side by Demonicputto (T)
When Crowley is given the chance at a human life (birth to death, family, Free Will, the whole shebang) he takes it. He does this, in part, to protect Aziraphale from being forced to take the same opportunity against his will.
However, once Crowley is off on this metaphysical adventure, Aziraphale learns that his friend’s new life is not all that was advertised. To protect a small, amnesic Crowley from a childhood of cruelty, Aziraphale must go after him. If he’s going to do so, he must become human himself.
Now in the form of a nine-year-old boy (though with his memories mercifully intact) Aziraphale must navigate adoptive parents, child therapists, and nativity plays to try and provide what protection he can to his dearest companion.
Part 1 of By My Side series

O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! - Psalm 8:3-9 KJV
Psalm 8 is one of my favorite psalms. Look at the love and confidence God shows us! We know from the Book of Genesis and the first creation story, that after God created human beings, He gave them dominion over all His creation. This responsibility is what Psalm 8 describes.
As I look around, I question how well we have lived up to this task. We have over-fished many of our lakes and oceans; we have over-hunted to the point where some animals have become almost extinct. I would never question the right of anyone to hunt or fish for food, or to provide food for others. But I do question people who hunt for trophies and discard the animal. We have polluted our rivers and our lakes so that there are areas of the world with no access to clean drinking water. This pollution is the result of greedy companies who pour toxic chemicals into the water rather than safely disposing of them. We have polluted the air so that there are places where you cannot safely breathe without a face mask. Then we have become so dependent on fossil fuels that climate change threatens every corner of the world. The melting of the polar ice caps is already making the seas rise. Our weather patterns are changing and creating more earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and blizzards. We have not done a great job taking care of ourselves nor this world God created and blessed us with. When those who want change make their voices known, they are often dismissed as fear mongers. The reality is, it might cost us money, or cause us discomfort. We have a responsibility to leave the world in a better situation, and God is watching. He has given us an awesome task. May He make us more worthy of it. We lift our voices in praise to Him for His love, mercy, faithfulness and grace. - For EVERYTHING!
It is vital that we remain rooted in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit and that we live and walk as a beacon of His light and love and share and spread the Gospel Truth daily, so that the lost souls in this world can come to know Him and be saved. The more we focus on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, growing spiritually by building our relationship with Him, leaning on Him and His Holy Word and Spirit, the better off we will be. Thanks to this and our faith in Him, we know that everything will be alright. And we will forever be grateful to Him. As true and born-again Christians, we believe in Him and His Holy Word and we strive daily to walk in His Holy Spirit. We know though our mortal bodies should die, He will raise us up and into new and glorious bodies (The Rapture). We who are truly His and alive at His second coming will never die, and our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and so shall we ever be with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This is one of many promises given to us by God Himself. Thank God for His strength and guidance when we are faced with sin and temptation. Thank Him for His mercy and grace. Through Bible study and prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow closer to Him and grow spiritually. He gives us direction to live our lives daily according to His will.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 3:5, 14:6), the ONLY way to salvation (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9) and He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26). Jesus Christ the LORD of lords, KING of kings, the GOD of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17, 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16) - He is the Living, Almighty and Everlasting God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 3:16, John 3:36, Jeremiah 10:10). There is no other God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). We MUST humble ourselves before Him, turning our backs on false teachers, false gods and idols and our sinful ways. We MUST repent and turn back to God and recognize who He is and love Him in return for His great love for us. We MUST make God top priority everyday! May we be motivated to spread God's Holy Word and Gospel Truth to all the Earth, knowing that it is the only hope of all those lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel, but instead, strive to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.
Leaning on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit strengthens us and our knowledge and wisdom about God and His Gospel Truth, exposing these imposters. May God help us to seek and lean on Him daily to gain the strength, wisdom and spiritual discernment needed to expose Satan and his imposters who seek to destroy us and God's ultimate Truth. Everyday, we must remember to share Jesus Christ's Gospel Truth with the world and to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and from the eternal damnation of Hell. In all we say and do, may all praise, honor and glory always be given to Him and His Kingdom of Heaven.
With renewed minds, hearts and wills, let us serve Him humbly and faithfully out of pure love and grateful rejoicing. May He remind us of His presence and to remain at peace, fully knowing that all will be well because He is always with us. Let us seek Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ today and everyday with all our heart and being, looking for His love, light and will for our lives with each step we take. Let us seek to please Him with our thoughts, words, and deeds and seek to advance His Kingdom of Heaven and His glory with our lives. Let us seek Him from a pure and humble heart, and when we so seek, we believe Him and His promise that we will find. May He help us all to be more sensitive to the teaching ministry of His Holy Word and Spirit, relying on Him and allowing Him to speak to us and guide us every step of our Christian journey.
God gave us the Holy Bible - His living and Holy Word - to let us know of Him and His abiding love and care as well as guide and prepare us for all our lives. May He help us encourage one another as we continue our walk with Him and our duty to Him daily. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for being present for all our new beginnings and all our lives. May He redirect any anxiety we feel as He provides countless opportunities for growth and change. May we humble ourselves before God always, asking Him to forgive our sins and make our hearts and lives anew through His Holy Word and Spirit. May He help us make Him and His Holy Word top priority, so we can grow spiritually and grow in our relationship with Him as we apply it to our daily lives. Thank God that we can focus on Him and everything about Him, for that is what keeps us sane and at peace. May our words and actions always be a reflection of Him and His Holy Word and Spirit and will.
May He help us to always walk in His grace and Holy Spirit, not by our own measure. May He give us the humble humility to know that our freedom and eternal salvation is found only in Him, so that His grace may sustain us, and we may never lose sight of His love and light and mercy. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus! He loves us and He knows what is best for us. Seek, follow and trust in Him - Always!
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful LORD, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!

The Iliad and The Odyssey. Homer’s epic narratives deserve preeminence on their own literary merit but also for the influence that they’ve exerted in the three millennia since they were written.
The Holy Bible needs no justification and no explanation. Its absence would remove the very heart from Western civilization.
Virgil’s epic about the foundation of Rome itself. Although The Aeneid, as a work of literature, does not attain the literary heights of Homer’s epics, its influence outreached that of Homer during the early centuries of Christendom due to its being written in accessible Latin and not in the relatively inaccessible Greek.
Summa Theologica of Thomas Aquinas. It is no wonder that this great saint has been given the title of the Angelic Doctor. He is the preeminent philosopher and theologian in the entire history of Christendom, whose influence is immeasurable. One of his many seminal achievements was the integration of the thought of Aristotle into Christian philosophy, thereby baptizing Aristotle as Augustine had baptized Plato
Dante’s Divine Comedy, a work which brings together the Homeric and Virgilian Muses and baptizes them in the living waters of Thomistic theology and philosophy.
Finally, we must mention Shakespeare. Many of his individual works merit inclusion among the illustrissimi of Great Books and his corpus, taken as a whole and published as The Complete Works

Schools got me whiped out so here’s some Mini FK fun facts for your time:
Anyone with wings, molts. Not as noticeable with scaley wings as they only flake off scales and not feathers. Also generally no child learns how to fly until about 7
Beggars are Drawfs and generally grow to about 3 foot in size by adulthood. As a result many places tend to have smaller sized access spaces like small stairs.
The 7 Sins are the result of someone guilty of said sin who died in a particular way. If they die in a certain way they’ll be brought back as a Sin as a last chance at redemption such as a greedling resulting from a greedy person being hung. A Much rarer form of the sins are the virtues. These are repented sins who are now finishing off their life before going to the after life. Very uncommon.
Super and Ultra sins are dependent on how old a sin is. Such as the 500 oldest of Greedlings being the super greeds. There’s only 7 Ultras who are all the eldest of their respective Sin like Gideon, The Ultra Wrath
When someone dies normally through their soul is collected by a horsemen and are brought to Purgatory to get judgement. Judgement is given by the three crowned (Bill/Godhead, Satan, and Lady Purgatory) on Sundays. They’ll either send a soul to heaven or hell depending on race and actions. Good demons or dark borns are let into hell while bad ones are sent to “rehabilitation” in heaven. Depending on the crime rehabilitation either means just working the boring work to keep things in order for a few decades OR boiling in a lake of holy water gaurded by the highest ranked Angels. Same thing for angels and Hell.
Hell and Heaven are actually physical places being the two moons above the world that shine a light blue and red respectively. Depending on the season one moon may be brighter then the other. The New Years is when the Blue moon shines and hides the red moon while Summer Solstice causes the blood moon.
Ok enough of my silly willy ramblings, if any questions gimme grr

THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:1-3 (KJV)
The ministry of the word began before creation and the Word was in the beginning with God. And then, the Word was God. Everything, visible and invisible, thrones or dominions, principalities or powers; all things were created by Him and for Him (the Word). Without Him was not anything made that was made. Remember, in the beginning was not creation (heaven or earth) but the Word. So the bible said he was before all things, visible or invisible.
WHO WAS THIS WORD?
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 (KJV)
So biblically speaking, the Word became like one of us with flesh and blood and dwelt among us. Why did he become flesh? The ministry of the word made creation and that creation is His. If any of the creation is to be found faulty, He fixes it. The Word had a divine assignment for his creation upon the earth reading from Hebrews 2:14. This clearly shows how the inhabitants of the earth are very dear to him. The assignment of the Word towards salvation:
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Hebrews 2:14-18 (KJV)
Now we know the Word to be the man, Christ Jesus.
The ministry of the Word is revealed through our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Word was God, then Jesus Christ is God himself. This implies that the Word is a blueprint to know God by who he is and what he does. The Bible also says that Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God. No wonder the book of John recorded Him as the way, the truth and the life unto God. So the ministry of the word gives the believer access to knowing God. Without this, the wisdom of men including scientific knowledge and other insights from books and professors cannot provide you with the full knowledge about God, what he does and can do.
Unfortunately, the ministry of the word in Knowing God is dependent on the Spirit of God. Remember from Genesis chapter 1, where the spirit of God hovered over the waters and he could locate the missing component to be called light. Right after that, the spoken word came and light emanated. It is the union of the Word and the Spirit of God that gives a high level of spiritual illumination about God. This is what defines miracles, signs and wonders. They can never go independently to do something.
Remember that before Jesus had started his ministry at age 30, though he was the Word himself he needed the baptism of the Holy Spirit which came on him in the form of a dove. Immediately this happened, the heavens opened that he attained the sonship of the Father as the only begotten son of God in whom he is well pleased. No man can receive nothing, except to be given to him from above.
THE DIMENSIONS IN THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD
How to effect the ministry of the Word to yield results comes in three dimensions;
Consistent studying of the Word;
We read scriptures to create awareness but we study for understanding to be able to apply them in our lives and most especially in our daily walk with God.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV). At the end of it all, our objective is to access the truth with the assistance of the Holy Spirit.
From my previous blog on how to access the truth through the Holy Spirit, you found out that we have to study the word to have the spiritual meaning unto every written word to access the truth from scriptures. You can read more from there concerning the studying of the word of God and the need for the required crucial element called meditation.
Consistent Listening to the word
The second thing to do to effect the ministry of the word is to listen to the word of God. Remember, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If the things you hear contradict the word of God, the essence of the word will not be relevant in your life. Know this also, that what we hear controls our mind that what is stored being the word of God can be eliminated. You will need to be very careful concerning what you hear. They have the potency to remove the seed of the word of God from you and replace it with what you heard. These spiritual attacks are manipulated to hinder the believer from reaching his or her spiritual goals or objectives for the glory of God. Listening to the word of God can be achieved through bible discussions, teachings and bible audio recordings.
Speak the word consistently
What you speak defines who you are.
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20 (KJV). If you speak the words of God, you acknowledge him as your source of everything and create space for him to effect the potency of His Word in your life.
11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11 (KJV)
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE WORD
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32 (KJV). Meaning, God's word carries some unlimited graces which enable the believer in his walk with God.
It defines who you are in the body of Christ either of light or part of the world of darkness.
It provides a legal authorization to know God by who he is, and what he does and can do as well.
It provides us with spiritual patterns or blueprints for accessing God's graces, mercies, favour and other spiritual blessings.
It gives life even to any dead figure in one's life.
It provides us with dominion and power over sins, our adversary satan and his evil works.

Analyze Final Chapter” of God’s Word on this Edition of End of the Age!
t is the last chapter in the Bible—Revelation 22. What are the messages, and warnings, God chose to conclude “His Book”—the most important book ever written, which has the very words to eternal life? We will analyze the “Final Chapter” of God’s Word on this edition of End of the Age! Revelation 21 reveals the New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ—the church. We also learn there are two Jerusalems: the physical Jerusalem located in the land of Israel and the spiritual Jerusalem being constructed as God gives birth to His church.
Throughout that chapter, God is describing the New Jerusalem to John:
The Church is the Tabernacle of God – In the great sermon preached by the first martyr Stephen just before he was stoned, he said, “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,” (Acts 7:48). The One escorting John said, “I will show you the bride.” We come to the central purpose of Revelation 21:9-10, “And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,” When Jesus promised to show John the bride, the Lamb’s wife, He showed him the holy Jerusalem. In this scripture we have absolute proof the bride is the holy Jerusalem.
The New Jerusalem has 12 Gates The New Jerusalem has 12 Foundations The symbolic measurements of the New Jerusalem Adorned with precious stones and streets of gold as it were transparent glass. No Sun or Moon in the City – Jesus will be the light! The Gates of the New Jerusalem will Never be Shut This brings us to Chapter 22.
BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY! John continues to describe the New Jerusalem in Revelation 22:1, “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
When Jesus met the woman at the well in John 4:10, He asked her for water to drink. She questioned Him asking her for a drink since He was a Jew and she was a Samaritan. He answered her in John 4:10, “Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”
Jesus explained further about the living water in John 4:13-14, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Jesus also spoke of the living water on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles in John 7:37-39, “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
Jesus explicitly stated the living water was His Spirit, the gift of the Holy Ghost. As verse 39 explains, at the time He spoke of this living water, it was not yet given because His Spirit only became available after He was glorified.
Revelation 22:2 goes on to describe the Tree of Life which grew beside the River of Life. We first see the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were created. Once they disobeyed God by eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they were forbidden from eating of the Tree of Life lest they should live forever. To the saved who will dwell in the New Jerusalem, they will be given open access to the Water of Life and the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is described in Revelation 22:2, “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
Notice the leaves of the Tree of Life were for the healing of the nations. This is simply reminding us again that there will be no sickness, no pain and no death in the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 22:3-4 provides more information about the wonders of the New Jerusalem, “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.”
When this passage says there will be no more curse, it is because Jesus bore the curse for us. Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”
The passage also reveals we will be the Lamb’s servants and will serve Him. We will have access to His presence continually. I Thessalonians 4:17, “And so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Revelation 22:4 continues to say we shall see His face and His name shall be in our foreheads. Jesus’ name is placed in our foreheads when we are baptized in His name.
John concludes his record of the vision of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 22:5, “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”
Just imagine no need for the sun or electricity or for any artificial light! For we will dwell in His presence and He is the light! Finally, we are reminded again we shall reign with Jesus Christ forever and forever!
In Revelation 22, we will hear the admonition of God Himself as He issues His final words designed for those of us who live in the end time, the day of His return to the earth.
As we learned in the last chapter, the first five verses of chapter 22 continue to describe the glories of the New Jerusalem. Then this final chapter of Revelation restates the purpose for which this last book of the Bible was given. Revelation 22:6 declares the purpose very clearly, “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
Jesus said He sent His angel to show His servants the things that must shortly come to pass. Our Lord wants His servants to know what the future holds.
Our new series, Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ Volume 1 and 2, was created to give understanding to all who desire to know the things that will soon come to pass.
In this sixth verse we are also told the identity of the one who has been talking to John throughout the vision. God said He “sent His angel” to show us the things that must come to pass.
Revelation 22:7 gives us the theme of the final chapter of the last book of the Bible, “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” Many people have questioned why the declaration, “Behold, I come quickly” would be made when the Book of Revelation was written almost 2,000 years ago. This scripture saying, “Behold, I come quickly,” has proven true for each generation since the Book of Revelation was given to John. Jesus has been calling individuals home for over 2,000 years and it always seems to come too quickly. As James 4:14 says,
“…For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
As the generation who will soon see the physical return of Jesus to the earth, the words have never rung truer, “Behold, I come quickly!” Three times in this closing chapter of the Holy Scriptures, God repeats the phrase, “Behold, I come quickly.” This leaves no doubt the overriding purpose of this final book of Scripture is to warn us to be ready for His coming.
After saying, “Behold, I come quickly,” Jesus went on to say, “Blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” What does He mean by this statement? How can we keep the sayings of the prophecies given in the Book of Revelation?
In chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, messages are given straight from Jesus to the seven churches of Asia. We are told what they were doing right and what they were doing wrong. We should learn from these messages and adjust our conduct accordingly.
In chapter 6 of Revelation, the four spirits that seek to control the human race, Catholicism, Communism, Capitalism and Islamism are revealed. We should understand these forces and not allow our lives to be controlled by them.
What about Capitalism? It’s okay to have money, just don’t let the love of it control you. 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
In chapter 7, God devotes this entire chapter to the great Jewish-Gentile revival that will be poured out in the end time. By revealing this revival to us, Jesus wants us to prepare to participate in this final harvest just before His Second Coming.
The church should be in a perpetual state of evangelism—preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God around the world. Matthew 24;14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
In chapters 8-11, the Seven Trumpets are given to us so we can understand the world-changing events that are happening all around us. Jesus told us in Matthew 24:6, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Although we are living through the events prophesied in the Seven Trumpets, Jesus told us not to be troubled by all these climactic events. He was saying we should stay on course and accomplish what He has called us to do in reaping the final harvest.
In chapter 12, we are given an overview of events from the birth of Christ all the way to the end of the Great Tribulation. In verse 14 of this chapter, it is revealed that the eagle (the U.S.) will stand with Israel against the entire world in the end time. This information should give the United States confidence to stand against the Antichrist and his world government though most of the nations of the world will be against us.
Chapter 13 clearly reveals to us Satan’s plan for the last days. We are shown the Antichrist and his world government, the False Prophet and his world religion and the enforcement mechanism of Satan’s plan to cause all people to worship him. This enforcement mechanism is called the Mark of the Beast.
God exposes Satan’s masterplan, which is the establishment of his physical kingdom on the earth, in this chapter and it is of eternal consequence to participate in it.
It is the understanding of these prophecies, which lets us know you 1) Should never pledge allegiance to a world government or it’s leader 2) Never be part of the huge move towards a world religion, interfaithism or ecumenism 3) Place a mark of identification on your person.
In chapter 14, we are told all who worship the Antichrist and receive the Mark of the Beast will be tormented forever and forever in the presence of the Lamb and His holy angels. The chapter then concludes with an account of the Two Harvests, the harvest of the wheat and the harvest of the tares. This gives us Revelation’s third account of the Rapture of the church and the Battle of Armageddon.
Chapters 15-16 record the coming Wrath of God that will be poured out upon His enemies during the Battle of Armageddon Bible.
After these chapters, God interrupts the flow of the Book of Revelation to interject the account of His judgment that will be poured out upon false Christianity.
Chapters 17 and 18 are devoted to the judgment of Mystery Babylon and all of her daughters. His warning to all of us is given in Revelation 18:4, “…Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Revelation 19:7 gives us the final account of the Rapture and the Battle of Armageddon, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
In chapter 20, we see the binding of Satan for 1,000 years, the millennial reign of Jesus and His church and the Great White Throne of Judgment.
When we arrive at chapter 21, we are told in no uncertain terms the New Jerusalem is a portrayal of the bride. The angel said to John in Revelation 21:9-10, “…Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.” The rest of the chapter then goes on to describe many of the wonderful attributes of the church.
The Book of Revelation is finalized in Revelation 22:6-21. We are told many things in these last 16 verses.
Worship No One Else but God
After seeing all the visions and prophecies given to him in the Book of Revelation, John was overwhelmed. Revelation 22:8-9 reveals his reaction, “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”
John’s impulse was to fall at the feet of the angel that had shown him all of these incredible revelations. The angel immediately reproved him and reminded him of a truth none of us should ever forget! The angel said, “Worship God.” When Jesus was tempted by Satan to worship him in Matthew 4:10, Jesus quoted the words of the First Commandment, “…Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
We all must forever remember there is one and only one God. Never worship anyone else! Never pray to anyone else!
The Time is at Hand
In Revelation 22:10, the angel speaking with John said unto him, “…Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.”
Many people have questioned the statement “the time is at hand” since the Book of Revelation was written almost 2,000 years ago. Why did the angel say, “The time is at hand?” This statement is true because the Book of Revelation covers the entire 2,000 years from the time it was written until now. The seven churches to whom God sent messages in chapters 2 and 3 existed at the time Revelation was being written. In chapter 5, we are shown Heaven before Jesus came to the earth as a Lamb. Then we see the Lamb as it had been slain.
Afterward, we see the prophecy of the Four Horsemen representing the four spirits that would control the nations of the earth from Christ until His Second Coming. All of these things explain why the angel instructed John to not seal up the book because the time is at hand.
The Last-Minute Call
It appears Revelation 22:11-20 is specifically directed at the people who will be on earth at the time of the conclusion of the events of the Book of Revelation. Revelation 22:11-12 seems to speak to those who are living right before the time of the Rapture, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Think of that moment when the last sermon has been preached, the last altar invitation has been given, the last prayer has been prayed and every person’s eternal destination has been locked in! Those who are unjust will remain unjust and those who are filthy will face eternity in their filthy condition. Those who have lived lives of holiness and righteousness will meet God in their righteous condition. It’s sobering to think about this time but it is a time that will soon come! Jesus then repeats His warning, “Behold, I come quickly!”
In Revelation 22:14-15 it’s almost as though Jesus decides to give one more appeal, “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
Deuteronomy 30:19 repeats the call made to mankind throughout the Old and New Testaments, “…I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
I am the Root and the Offspring of David
Throughout the Book of Revelation, Jesus declares who He really is. From Revelation 1:8 when He declared, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” to Revelation 1:18 where He said, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore…”
As He brings His Holy Scriptures to a close in Revelation 22:16, He declares, “…I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
How could He claim to be both the root and the offspring of David? Because as Almighty God who created all things, He is the root of David; and as the Son of God, He is the offspring of David!
Whosoever will, Come
Even as the Book of Revelation draws to a close, Jesus is still calling for His prized creation, the human race, to come to salvation. Revelation 22:17, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
This passage is telling the world God’s Spirit is calling everyone to salvation. The bride (the church) is also saying, “Come.” The most wonderful message of this scripture is “whosoever will” may come. It is not God’s will for anyone to be lost. Whosoever will means whosoever desires to come can be saved. If you want to be saved, you can be!
A Final Warning
God issues a solemn warning in Revelation 22:18-19, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
It is apparent God did not want the prophecies of the Book of Revelation to be tampered with. He said if anyone added to the prophecies found in Revelation, He would add unto that person the plagues found in the book. He went on to say in verse 19, if anyone would take away the words of the Book of Revelation, God would take away his part out of the Book of Life.
We see a very important truth declared here in verse 19. God warned that a person’s name could be removed from the Book of Life. There are many people who teach once a person’s name is written in the Book of Life, it cannot be removed. However, this verse declares the opposite. This is not stating that anyone besides ourselves can remove our name from the Lamb’s Book of Life. However, it is stating that through our own actions, we could cause our names to be removed from the Lamb’s Book of Life even after they were once written there.
There’s another very important truth that should be learned from verses 18 and 19. Not only should we not add or take away from the Book of Revelation but we should also not alter any of the Scriptures. The Apostle Paul said in II Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
Every one of us should have a deep reverence for the sacredness of God’s Word. We should never attempt to alter it to fit our lifestyle or to justify something we are doing wrong. Psalm 119:89 reveals, “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
John concludes this marvelous book in Revelation 22:20-21, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you all. Amen.”
For the third time in this final chapter, we receive the warning from Jesus that He is coming quickly. Then John adds his own commentary, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Finally, John signs off with his final salutation, “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
The Book of Revelation was written to be understood!
The Book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John 2,000 years ago. However, he died not understanding the meaning of what he had written. This happened because the Book of Revelation was not for his time. It was given for the present time in which you and I live just before the Second Coming of Jesus to the earth.
The title of the last book of the Bible is, Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ. The word “revelation” comes from the Greek word “Apocalypsis”, which means the “revealing” or the “unveiling”. The entire Book of Revelation is the dramatization of the Unveiling of Jesus Christ to the world at the time of His Second Coming.
Most of the Book of Revelation has been hidden in mystery for the last 2,000 years. Right now, just before the Rapture, we are understanding things that have never been understood before.
Revelation contains four different accounts of the Unveiling of Jesus to the world. Each of these accounts is preceded by an account of events that will lead up to the Second Coming. Each of these accounts supplies a different dramatic view of things that will happen before the Second Coming. It is as though God couldn’t just tell the story once. There will be so many exciting things involved in His Unveiling that He had to record the events from four different perspectives. Each of these four narratives concludes at the same event – the dramatic Second Coming of Jesus to the earth!
The theme of the entire Book of Revelation is found in Revelation 1:7, “Behold, He Cometh.” In Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ, Volume 2, you will view 11 animated videos portraying the events the Apostle John was shown on the Isle of Patmos. Accompanying these 11 videos is a 268-page hardback book that will assist you in your study of this book written 2,000 years ago for those of us who live in these end times.
Experience with the Apostle John the visions given for the end time. Their meaning will become amazingly clear to you through the animated videos of Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ. Believe it or not, you will be able to understand what God sent to us by John over 2,000 years ago.

Something is off with Crowely’s memories. We just don’t realise it because he is flippant. And since he has spent 6000 years with Aziraphale, he has enough experiences and stories to keep us distracted.
After reading the above theories, I think the Minisode set in Scotland and later World War 2 are, in Aziraphale’s language— big clue.
Crowley doesn’t remember the details of the war! In season one he says he hung out with the wrong crowd, asked questions and canteen food was bad and next thing he knew he was being thrown down.
Remember, when Furfur came to collect evidence he said “we fought side-side in the same war”, Crowley clearly doesn’t recall fighting besides him.
I thought it was because he is well Crowely— not caring for his side.
But he remembers Wee Morag, he who they barely spent an evening with! He remembers having lunch in Paris in 1793. He remembers Aziraphale has been twittering in broken French for 250 years or for how many years Aziraphale has been denying him holy water. Yes we can say it’s selective memory backed by love.
But he actually doesn’t remember enough, or at least didn’t remember a huge information for a long while. And he may have gained them back in patches over the years, and his true power remains with him hence he could access the confidential files easily. He remembers that heaven doesn’t change passwords and how they function but when Saraqael finds him and Muriel reading Gabirel’s files, she remembers working the Angel him on Horsehead Nebula, but he doesn’t remember citing he met many people. He remembers passwords but not people?
And when the Metatron arrived to the bookshop, neither Aziraphale, Michael, Uriel or Saraqael recognised him, but he asked Crowley if he remembered him? And Crowley did, he remembered him from his floating head projection! How come he knows him and remembered? Hence I am inclined to believe his memories are patchy, but strong enough to make him wary of Heaven’s follies.
Because during the Eden Garden Meeting, it did seem like Crowley was meeting Aziraphale for the first time. But now we know they met before the beginning, but he always refers to the angel he was as an identity he no longer accepts or has fond thoughts off.
If you are stripped of your core memories, and left to start from the scratch, would you like it if people kept reminding of your glorious past? I don’t think so. Just because its Aziraphale, Crowley doesn’t mind him bringing it up.
And he is the only one who has changed his name, from Crawley to Crowley. We can imply his first name was given without his input, and we know this person doesn’t like being forced or boxed or typecast, so he changed it. He likes being in control of the situation— question is why? He can never follow orders or plan, his base nature is to double-check, ask questions and improvise.
In the end he is a creator who thought everything thoroughly and a person who enjoyed his creations. But post-fall, with a fractured mind he doesn’t invent or create or when he did his colleagues didn’t appreciate it like the M25 low-curse demonic circle!
Rather he channelled fear of Crowley into his plants, did bare minimum for his job and slept for years and rescued Aziraphale and had brunches.
Crowley no longer actively participates in his own life— he is third wheeling his own existence.
In season 2 his only objective was for him and Aziraphale to be left unbothered and avoid attention from both sides.
The talk with Gabriel not only brought out his hidden pain and the fear of losing Aziraphale, because he experienced it once but also because he can’t forget that what that loss did it to him! He thought he lost Aziraphale for forever! He stopped time when Aziraphale said he won’t talk to him ever again! His entire existence as Crowley is tied to Aziraphale being there with him— from eden to present day.
Crowley has filled the bookshop with fire extinguishers, electric candles, most probably thrown the match sticks as well — I know he did it.
It is fear and love, but also Crowley is angry at the thought of losing the only person who gives him a sense of permanence, especially the idea of losing him because of someone as useless and uncaring person as Gabriel— who he clearly remembers tried to kill his best friend. Because Crowley knows Aziraphale is genuinely good, and heaven has done nothing to protect him— and its further established when he says to Nina, Aziraphale is “far to pure”. Hence he wants to punish Gabriel, after the talk with Nina made him realise what he feels for Aziraphale is love. He was doubly angry! 😭
When Gabriel said he feels like an empty house— Crowley, sadly knows that feeling, which makes him less hostile. He understands the helplessness of not being yourself. The demon doesn’t want to lose the person who walked into his post-fall empty house and made it liveable again—Aziraphale.
Can already tell the scene where Crowley and Gabriel talk about memory loss is gonna be this season’s Plant Scene, in that it’s the scene I get weirdly obsessed with and read a lot into. But it’s just…so tonally strange and kind of disconcerting. It’s not just me, right?
It feels weirdly…secretive? Yes Aziraphale just told Crowley to go over and talk to Gabriel, and it’s not the only time they’re alone together, but it’s just the two of them, in a back room, no Aziraphale, and it has this kind of foreboding tone to it?
It seems very clear that Crowley has not told Aziraphale all the details of the attempted execution in Heaven and this is part of why he wants the secrecy.
Crowley is clearly furious at the beginning, but seems kinda disturbed when Gabe seems ready to follow his instructions to jump out the window. (EDIT: TO FALL idk why I didn’t pick up on this before.)
Crowley has his glasses off almost the entire scene. He takes them off so Gabriel can see his expression clearly when he’s at his most angry and threatening. But then he keeps them off for the whole rest of the scene, which just does not seem like something Crowley would be likely to do around Gabriel. He was just talking to Aziraphale about how he doesn’t feel safe/comfortable in the bookshop with Gabriel around. (What does it meeeaaannn)
“I feel like an empty house. A house where someone lived for a very long time, but now they’re gone, and the house can sort of tell where the things used to be” is such a raw fuckin line, and after the memory loss plot mostly being played for comedy it really stands out.
“It hurts to remember.” “I know. Do it anyway.” WHAT
The fact that Crowley seems to know that if pushed, Gabriel can remember bits and pieces (which he does). WHAT DOES IT MEEEAAAANNNNN
”If it happens again, it’ll make it seem like an institutional problem” being one of the 2-3 specific things Gabriel remembers.
“I know. Looking at where the furniture isn’t.” WHAT
Crowley, clearly extremely annoyed about his impulse to do so, offering Gabe a hot chocolate

The Seven Pillars of Western Civilization
By Joseph Pearce|December 10th, 2022|Categories: Books, Joseph Pearce, Senior Contributors, Western Civilization
Here are the books I consider to be the seven pillars of wisdom on which Western civilization is built.
This past week I gave a lecture on “Why Shakespeare Matters” at Colorado Christian University. In the dinner prior to the talk, the president of the university asked me to name what I considered to be the six foundational texts of Western civilization. Scurrying and scrambling to pull from the top of my head six titles that could plausibly fit the bill, I thought that such an exercise might provide inspiration for a thought-provoking essay.
Permitting myself a little poetic license or literary leeway, I’ve allowed myself seven texts, not six. With an appropriate deferential nod to T. E. Lawrence, here are what I consider to be the seven pillars of wisdom on which Western civilization is built.
Beginning in ancient Greece, the first two texts are those twin towers of antiquity, The Iliad and The Odyssey. Homer’s epic narratives deserve preeminence on their own literary merit but also for the influence that they’ve exerted in the three millennia since they were written.
Moving from Athens to Jerusalem, the inclusion of the Holy Bible needs no justification and no explanation. Its absence would remove the very heart from Western civilization.
We now move to Rome, the third of the foundational cities on which Western civilization is built, and to Virgil’s epic about the foundation of Rome itself. Although The Aeneid, as a work of literature, does not attain the literary heights of Homer’s epics, its influence outreached that of Homer during the early centuries of Christendom due to its being written in accessible Latin and not in the relatively inaccessible Greek. Latin was the language of civilization and Virgil was the Latin poet par excellence. It is needless to say, however, that Virgil’s debt to Homer is so great that his own epic would have been literally unimaginable without the presence in his imagination of The Iliad and The Odyssey. The Virgilian Muse stands on Homeric shoulders.
We now move to a giant of civilization in whom the thought of Athens, Jerusalem and Rome meet and meld. This is the great Saint Augustine and his magnum opus, The City of God, which is the fifth of our textual pillars. Apart from its brilliant exposition of Christian theology, Augustine grapples with the philosophy of the Greeks, illustrating the limitations of Platonism but also acknowledging the wisdom and truth of aspects of Platonic thought. It could be said, in fact, that Augustine baptizes Plato, bringing Plato into the great conversation which would animate Christian thought. The City of God and other works by Augustine consummated the marriage of faith and reason, bringing theology and philosophy together in an indissoluble union.
The penultimate pillar is that other edifice of Christian theology and philosophy, the Summa Theologica of Thomas Aquinas. It is no wonder that this great saint has been given the title of the Angelic Doctor. He is the preeminent philosopher and theologian in the entire history of Christendom, whose influence is immeasurable. One of his many seminal achievements was the integration of the thought of Aristotle into Christian philosophy, thereby baptizing Aristotle as Augustine had baptized Plato.
This brings us to the final pillar, Dante’s Divine Comedy, a work which brings together the Homeric and Virgilian Muses and baptizes them in the living waters of Thomistic theology and philosophy. In Dante’s journey from the Dark Wood to the Beatific Vision we see the fusion of classical epic and scholastic reason and the infusion of the most sublime Christian wisdom into the art of narrative.
Perhaps, at this juncture, we should offer a deferential nod to other great books, the exclusion of which from the magnificent seven might raise eyebrows or even be considered sins of omission. The exclusion of the works of Plato and Aristotle might seem a little odd, even though they have been incorporated vicariously in their baptized form in the works of Augustine, Aquinas and Dante. The absence of The Consolation of Philosophy by Boethius might raise eyebrows, especially as it was one of the most influential texts on the culture of Christendom for many centuries. The Rule of Saint Benedict has had a seminal impact on Western civilization, its precepts governing the lives of those countless monastic communities which have carried the flame of faith and culture across the centuries.
Finally, we must mention Shakespeare. Many of his individual works merit inclusion among the illustrissimi of Great Books and his corpus, taken as a whole and published as The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, is the equal of any of the seminal titles in the list which constitutes the seven pillars of civilization. His exclusion from the list does not constitute a sin of omission, however, because the whole of modernity, including Shakespeare, stands on the solid pre-modern pillars of civilization we have listed. All that is civilized in modernity, and all that is civilized in the works of Shakespeare, is dependent on Western civilization itself and the seven pillars of wisdom which support it. These seven pillars of Western civilization are also the seven textual wonders of civilized culture. With them, we can plumb the depths of the human psyche and can reach for the heights of heaven; without them, we are lost in the cosmos with nothing but nothing to comfort us. For the priceless inheritance of these good, true and beautiful gifts we should give thanks to the Good, True and Beautiful Himself. Deo gratias!
The Imaginative Conservative applies the principle of appreciation to the discussion of culture and politics—we approach dialogue with magnanimity rather than with mere civility. Tom Walker and the Devil
S’funny. Even after the whole business with the apple in Eden, even after Sodom ‘n Gomorrah and Herod and the Crusades and the entirety of the fourteenth century, the human capacity for willful blindness still amazes me.
Hm? Oh, don’t start on their supposed “capacity for goodness and optimism” again, angel. Look—look, don’t you dare start going off about the “ineffability of His plan” or I’m taking the wine and finding somewhere else to have a nice drink. What? Oh, so it’s proof you want, eh? Well, I was in the New World recently, and you wouldn’t believe the rate at which humans made deals with me, then tried to weasel out of them once they got cold feet!
Names? Well…there was Deacon Peabody, Absalom Crownshield… oh, and then there was Tom Walker. He was a riot, Tom was. The others, they at least had a reason for making deals with me; Deacon thought he was ensuring that his offspring would continue to live comfortably and have plenty of influence by swindling the natives out of their land, and Absalom became a buccaneer and displayed great riches to impress the mousy daughter of a fishmonger. Tom was only ever interested in how much money he had in his own pocket, a proper miser through and through! He never spent any money on firewood, nor on repairs for his shack, not even of food for his horse! …Yes angel, but the horse died eventually, so at least it wasn’t suffering very long. The only woman to ever marry him was just as miserly as he, and she had a fearsome temper! Attacked anyone who vexed her with fingernails and teeth and— …yes, angel that is how I got these scratches. Stop sniggering.
Anyway, going back to Tom Walker—I thought I’d told you to stop sniggering. Thank you. Where was I? Oh, right. I met Tom Walker when he decided to stray from the path, if you’ll pardon the pun, and managed to stumble into my neck of the woods where I was sheltering in an old fort the natives had abandoned. No it wasn’t very comfortable, I was miserable and wet half the time, but it had atmosphere, you see? Dark, dangerous, inconveniently hard to reach, really lets people know what they’re dealing with, doesn’t it? I even went through the trouble of starting a few rumors about it being a sacrificial alter to demonic spirits.
So old Tom sits down to catch his breath, and he manages to unearth a skull which he then kicks. Taking that as my cue, I appear, with my axe and half-native garb and dark skin all covered with soot and—what? No, I don’t know why I was covered in soot. It’s based off of what scares him, remember? Maybe he was scared of blacksmiths, or an honest day’s work. Anyway, we get to talking, and I show him this new system for remembering my victims that I created; I carve their names into a tree, the interior of which rots in accordance to how rotten their souls are, and I count down the days until I can collect them by hitting each tree with my axe until they die and the tree falls down. What? Oh, what d’you mean “poor, innocent trees?” Trees aren’t capable of moral action, let alone innocence or guilt! No, look—look, forget about the trees for a second, and let me carry on with my story, will you?!
Where was I…so I show him my remembering system (not one word about trees if you want to keep those feathers) give him the sales banter about how I’m responsible for all human evils, blah de blah de blah, and he guesses that I’m “Old Scratch” as they call my lot over there. We get to talking, and I mention that I know where the treasure of the pirate Kidd is buried and that only those in my favor can get at it—complete lies of course, anyone could get at the stuff, though there’s not much left to get at now—and Tom begins salivating. I mean, drool dripping down his chin and everything, the entire works. Of course he clams up a bit when I mention the conditions of the bargain being selling his soul. Of course, I’d sort of expected that; he’s a miser, and misers never want to give away anything that they perceive as having value to other people, even if they don’t value it themselves. No—no he didn’t angel, otherwise why would his soul be in poor enough condition for me to take an interest in the first place? Haven’t got an answer for that one, have you? Thought not. I tell him to go home and think on it for a few days and I brand him with my thumb as a sign of good faith and partly because it heightens the experience. No, he didn’t feel a thing, and besides it’s not like your lot are any less dramatic.
So I wait. The next day, to my surprise, a grouchy woman comes along at about twilight and demands that I give her the same deal I gave her husband. No, I wasn’t happy. What d’you mean why?! Because I’m meant to choose souls that will cause the most collateral generation of evil! Take Deacon Peabody for instance. He swindles those natives off of their land. Those natives then have to go find somewhere else to live. They don’t trust settlers anymore, so they may attack any lone merchants that they come across. That merchant, if he isn’t dead, is likely to be more surly and rude to his coworkers and distrusts the natives more than ever, so he drives harder bargains when dealing with them. And the cycle continues on and on until low-level evil accumulates into something really horrifying. Like Salem. Now, this only works if someone in a position of relative influence is able to do something that effects a group on a wide scale, and I ask you, what kind of influence does a housewife have in this day and age? Absolutely none. Forming a contract to get her soul when it’s obviously going down there anyway would be a complete waste.
So I decide to mess with her a bit, and tell her that if she wants to make a deal with me she has to bring me every portable thing she considers valuable in her house. Of course, she looks very put out about that, but she goes home and comes back the next evening with her apron laden with the stuff. I tell her to take it off and give it to me, which she does unwillingly. Then I go “see ya!” and start running. You should’ve seen her face!! It was hilarious. Practically priceless… yeah, it stopped being funny when she sprung on me like a mountain lion and began clawing my face off.
I didn’t even know what was going on at first. One moment she was standing there, the next she was mauling me! So I throw her off of me, but I didn’t really look where I was throwing, and she ended up sort of impaled…well, more like split in half by one of the trees’ branches. Oh, don’t give me that look! It was an accident and you know it! Why did the trees even have branches like that—obviously they need to look intimidating! Have you ever tried to make a tree look scary? It’s next to impossible! You’ve got to make the trunk all gnarled and knotty and the branches look like they’re curling down to grasp you! And—fine, I’ll get on with it. Well, since the body was just there and not really doing anything so I, uh, took its organs, and wrapped them up in her apron, and left them for Tom to find. His scream was pretty hilarious too, now that I think about it.
So a few evenings later, Tom comes back and agrees to the deal. We haggled a bit, him refusing to be a slave trader no matter what, funnily enough. Eventually we settled on him being a usurer, which he was very eager to start with. He started out small, creating a good reputation for himself and began to drive people to bankruptcy during a recession. The poorer the person, the harder his terms, and he was soon able to afford himself a fine house and carriage with horses to pull it. Of course, he let the house and carriage fall into disrepair because he was too lazy to pay for its upkeep. The horses starved, like usual. I, for my part, was just hanging around, waiting for the perfect moment to strike down the tree with his name on it. I made some deals with other mortals, even getting this minister to leave his congregation to become a slaver with the excuse that pagan peoples deserved a life of servitude to Christian masters. But none of them were ever as entertaining as Tom. He got extremely paranoid about me collecting my due. To try and trick me out of it, he became an avid churchgoer, praying louder than the pious, carrying around a small bible in his coat and keeping a huge one on his desk in his counting house. You should’ve seen that thing. It was bigger than a whole human baby. I measured.
Anyway, one afternoon during the dog days of summer, Tom was doing what he did best—turning away some poor sot who had made the mistake of borrowing money from him. But what sets this speculator apart from the others is that he’s persistent, and he eventually frustrates Tom to the point where Tom exclaims “The Devil take me if I ever made a farthing!” Those, of course are the words I was waiting to hear. I appear with a pitch black horse, and tell him in my deepest voice that he’s come for. He goes really pale, and his eyes bulge like a toad’s stomach, but there’s nothing he can do because his two bibles are upstairs and well away from me. I fling him onto the horse and set it galloping down the street at such a pace that his clerks have to stick their pens in their ears to dull the noise of hooves. The horse took Tom out of the town, back into the woods where he first met me, and bucked him off into a ravine that was the resting place of what remained of Kidd’s treasure. He broke his neck, and his body was never found, as a thunderbolt set the entire forest ablaze that night. When the trustees tried to take charge of his property, nothing was found except cinders and wood shavings. In his stable there were skeletons instead of horses and his great house also burned down. Such was the end of Tom Walker.
Hm? Oh, what d’you mean, this wouldn’t have happened but for me? Look, he and his wife were going down there anyway because of how miserly they were. All I did was provide him an opportunity to tap into his greater potential for evil. Even then, he took his job to extremes that my suggestions barely covered. If he’d wanted to, he could have just lent out money at a reasonable rate, since all usurers, good or bad, belong to my lot. He was the one who delighted in driving others to bankruptcy, willingly and knowingly. Sooner or later your people are going to have to open their eyes and see that maybe the Father’s precious little creations really aren’t so perfect after al—! W-wait, h-hold on a minute, angel, b-be reasonable and put the bloody holy water down—!

Muriel was originally sent down because they were the one who found the matchbook. Michael and Uriel needed someone Aziraphale wouldn't recognize (even if they remembered that Azirapale's met them, who retains the face of a 37th-level scrivener he got a file from a couple thousand years ago?) and they needed to contain the information that Gabriel was missing - Muriel was already in the loop, so down they went.
As for why they were given the bookshop - Metatron told us. He thinks they're dim. Revoke, limit, and monitor their access so Crowley can't exploit them, they'll be too busy trying to find their footing on earth to be a problem. Also, someone Aziraphale knows and isn't hostile to in charge of the bookshop, keeping an eye on his little local concerns, should make earthly matters less distracting for him. Maybe Metatron even hopes that giving Crowley another toy angel to play with and work his wiles on after driving a wedge between him and his old one will keep him busy and out of Heaven's hair.
Metatron may even hope for a front row seat on how the joint power-upgrade was accomplished as Crowley tries to establish a second power couple. It would make sense given Metatron's own worldview. Having been separated from the angelic dupe who'd allowed him to conquer holy water and control a 25-lazarii miracle, of course Crowley would try to duplicate the feat with the new angel in his life. Nobody'd let that much power walk out the door without immediately plotting a way to get it back.
And it's not as if his original power-up tool were anything special...
late-night, not entirely series meta thoughts, but i'm wondering why exactly the metatron wanted to keep muriel on earth.
the obvious answer is to have someone take over aziraphale's bookshop, knowing damn well he would have a hard time simply abandoning it, and i think it's definitely part of it. then again, he could have called on any angel to take aziraphale's place, why choose muriel, who has already proven to be easily swayed into disobeying heaven?
they quite literally opened the doors for crowley, a demon, to infiltrate heaven, and then summoned confidential files about the sacking of the archangel gabriel, which only THREE others angels had previously known about. two of them archangels, one of them most likely the metatron's assistant/right hand/whatever saraqael is.
surely it's easier to keep someone like that close and in heaven, away from any outside influence instead of letting them run wild on earth, aware that they'll go native to a certain degree. it's already started! they're reading! and enjoying it!
so why does the metatron encourage that? why put them on earth? hell, WHY did they send MURIEL to verify the miracle in the first place? i didn't question it while watching, i doubt most people did, but if you actually think about it and put yourself in michael's and uriel's position, it makes absolutely no sense.
it's like sending the intern who's been making coffee since they started a week ago to substitute the CEO in a business meeting. something will happen and maybe something will go right, sure, but there are better people for the job. people who actually know what they're doing - we see how badly muriel fails at their job, michael and uriel look like they're getting twin migraines.
(someone get them a cup of coffee and some ibuprofen. and maybe a stress ball for michael before they break something.)
my first thought was that muriel is important for the second coming. i know there are speculations/thoughts about muriel having been an archangel/angel of a higher position who, like gabriel, got demoted and their memory erased. maybe, maybe not, but it once again opens the question of why send them to earth?
maybe to keep an eye on crowley or be a walking security cam for heaven to see what's going on on earth since aziraphale was a complete failure in that regard.
then again, if i were the metatron in that situation, i'd put them in a cupboard and forget about them, and that's quite literally what they did (just without the cupboard, they took the "as far out of the was as heavenly possible" approach instead) - however i would make sure they don't *leave* wherever i put them. it's a risk not worth taking.
i don't have any definitive conclusions or thoughts, mostly just observations, so if anyone wants to chime in, please do!

12th June >> Mass Readings (USA)
Solemnity of The Most Holy Trinity
(Liturgical Colour: White)
First Reading
Proverbs 8:22–31
Before the earth was made, Wisdom was conceived.
Thus says the wisdom of God:
“The LORD possessed me, the beginning of his ways, the forerunner of his prodigies of long ago; from of old I was poured forth, at the first, before the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains or springs of water; before the mountains were settled into place, before the hills, I was brought forth; while as yet the earth and fields were not made, nor the first clods of the world.
“When the Lord established the heavens I was there, when he marked out the vault over the face of the deep; when he made firm the skies above, when he fixed fast the foundations of the earth; when he set for the sea its limit, so that the waters should not transgress his command; then was I beside him as his craftsman, and I was his delight day by day, playing before him all the while, playing on the surface of his earth; and I found delight in the human race.”
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 8:4–5, 6–7, 8–9
R/ O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
When I behold your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you set in place— What is man that you should be mindful of him, or the son of man that you should care for him?
R/ O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
You have made him little less than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him rule over the works of your hands, putting all things under his feet.
R/ O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fishes of the sea, and whatever swims the paths of the seas.
R/ O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
Second Reading
Romans 5:1–5
To God, through Christ, in love poured out through the Holy Spirit.
Brothers and sisters: Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.

Gospel
John 16:12–15
Everything that the Father has is mine; the Spirit will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
Jesus said to his disciples: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.”
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

MASTERLIST
~~~
Ever since you were a child, you knew that you were destined to be on the set of a production studio, surrounded by the biggest stars the business had to offer. Granted, you had always assumed you’d be the one in front of the camera rather than behind, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers in this world.
It’s not that you disliked being Khalia Dark’s assistant. She was a world renown celebrity, loved by all who were graced with her presence, from afar that is. Anyone who had the “honor” to get up close and personal with her, yourself included, knew she wasn’t the sweetest of the bunch. If you were to use your own words, she was a mythic bitch. Adored by millions, envied by more, which was pretty much the case for all of the A-listers out here anyway. Although you could do without the woman being in your vicinity, you didn’t mind being her servant most of the time.
More often than not you were certain she forgot about your existence all together, which usually gave you a chance to breathe for a bit. While your job brought about many positives for yourself, for example the extensive knowledge of posh coffees that you would have memorized for life, the highlight of the endeavor was without a doubt the exclusive access to the extravagant movie and TV sets that the queen bee happened to be appearing in each given week. Today, much to your excitement, was one of those days. Usually movies were more her forte so it was always a nice, refreshing change when she booked a role for the small screen.
Her newest conquest in the industry just happened to be one of your favorite shows to have ever aired, Criminal Minds. Of course you were trying to remain professional, but it became increasingly difficult the closer you got to the studio lot’s entrance. The child in you was screaming with joy at the prospect of being there, surrounded by some of your favorite actors and actresses in the industry. You couldn’t even consider the possibility that you would get to meet Matthew Gray Gubler, the object of your affections for as long as you had been watching the show. That simply was a no go. You were positive that if at any point in time he was in your vicinity, you would simply lose consciousness, and that wouldn’t exactly be the best first impression. The further you walked onto the set, the more amazed you were. You were so familiar with it after years of watching, it just felt like a second home. After breaking out of your stupor, you quickly spun around to try and locate your boss, immediately colliding with whatever was in front of you, letting out a small “oomf”. Well. Whoever.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry! I wasn’t paying atten-.”
You immediately froze mid-sentence when your eyes caught up with your actions. Fuck. This is not happening. It was him. Standing less than a foot away from you was the one and only Mr. Matthew Gray Gubler, live and in the flesh. Fucking hell.
“Hey it’s no problem, I promise. Don’t worry about it. I’m not exactly the most coordinated person on the planet either, trust me”, he said, chuckling lightly. Running a hand through his unkempt curls, he momentarily let his eyes roam your frame before seemingly snapping out of it, clearing his throat and extending one of his strong looking hands towards you.
“I’m Matthew by the way.”
You, however, were still frozen in place. Realizing how stupid you looked just standing there, openly ogling the man in front of you, you quickly met his hand, a nervous smile adorning your face. His hands were so fucking soft.
Chuckling once again, he seemed to be waiting for something.
“And you are?”
Oh shit. You hadn’t even introduced yourself yet! So much for first impressions you thought.
“O-oh right! Sorry. I'm Y/N. Ms. Dark’s assistant”, you stuttered out, entranced by the specimen in front of you. “Wow, that’s a beautiful name. Well I guess it’s fitting. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl.”
Wait a second. Had you heard those words correctly. THE Matthew Gray Gubler just called you beautiful? You must’ve been dreaming, there was simply no other explanation. But when you glanced at him he was once again trailing his eyes all over you. Holy shit. You thought you were going to implode on the spot.
“Th-thank you”, you muttered shyly, feeling the blush spread across your features faster than a wildfire in a dry forest. After your weak excuse of an answer left your lips, the two of you just continued to stare at each other for what felt like hours. Eventually you were broken out of your trance by the director calling all of the actors to their places across the lot.
“I-um-I gotta go do a scene, but it was a pleasure to meet you Y/N. I hope I get to see more of you around here.” With a quick wink in my direction, he was off in the direction of the other actors swarming to the set from their trailers. For the third time in the last five minutes you were frozen to the spot in which you stood on the pavement. What in the actual fuck just happened? He called you beautiful. He wants to see more of you. HE WINKED AT YOU. This time you felt like you were truly about to lose consciousness so you booked it to the bathroom to calm yourself. After splashing some water on your face, you felt your body temperature returning to a somewhat normal degree and decided you should probably go to the set in case the Queen of Hearts needed anything from you.
When you approached the scene that was being filmed, you were able to deduct fairly quickly what the plot revolved around. Apparently Khalia had been hired as the episode’s damsel in distress victim, typical. She was definitely the type to rely on others for pretty much anything. That wasn’t what was catching your eye though. Even from where you were standing you could clearly see her making eyes at Matthew. I guess you couldn’t blame her, he was gorgeous, but it still made you feel so insecure. It really just served as a reminder that people like him would never go after people like you. They want the ones who count. They want Ms. Khalia Dark. In what world would someone like him want a nobody like Y/N Y/L/N? There wasn’t one that came to mind. And while this revelation was pretty damn heartbreaking, you couldn’t say you were shocked by the cold, hard truth.
Feeling like you had lost a war that hadn’t ever really even begun, you turned back to look at Matthew, deciding to make the most of however short the time was that you’d be here. However, he was nowhere to be seen. You quickly realized that while you had been distracted, the scene had switched to something else, one where Matthew appeared to be absent.
“Hey again!”
You literally jumped off the ground and let out a little yelp at the noise, you were so startled.
“Oops, I’m sorry! Didn’t mean to scare you, sweetheart,” he got out between adorable giggles. Damn, this man was gonna be the death of you. Literally. If he scared you like that again, you might actually have a heart attack.
“Jesus Matthew! A little warning next time!” You couldn’t help but join in his giggling after a few seconds. Returning his gesture just made the two of you laugh even harder until both of your chests hurt like hell. His laugh was angelic. Perfect. Just like him. For some reason, after you guys had calmed down a bit, you noticed him once again looking you up and down, admiring your body. You even swore you saw him lick his lips. You must be imagining things. Weird. Very weird. Bringing his wandering eyes back to yours, a goofy grin was plastered across his face. You hadn’t even realized you were biting your lip until he reached towards you, dislodging your teeth from the soft skin. “Don’t do that,” he said with a much more serious expression adorning his features. Before you really had the chance to decipher what had just happened, a loud voice cut through the air directed towards you both, causing you to put a bit of space between the two of you. You were able to easily recognize the sultry voice as Shemar’s, turning towards him, a smirk on his face.
“What’s going on that’s so funny over here,” he questioned before his attention shifted to focus solely on you. “My, my. And what’s your name sugar?” You were starstruck for what felt like the thousandth time that day, standing there with your mouth awkwardly hanging open.
“Hi, I’m Y/N. I work for Kahlia, her assistant actually. Nice to meet you”, you answered brightly, a polite smile gracing your lips.
“Trust me, the pleasure is all mine sweetness”, he concluded with a wink. While the action was endearing, it had nowhere near the same effect on you as Matthew’s did. You had always adored Morgan on the show, but you didn’t really know Shemar well enough to have any serious opinions about the dude. Matthew, however, you knew everything there was to be known, from his haunted treehouse to his love of Halloween. You weren’t proud of your obsession, but you couldn’t deny the unbelievably strong attraction you had for the man to your left. Regardless, the interaction caused a blush to spread, though this time it was caused more by being flustered rather than speechless.
You were about to say something else to try and salvage some of the pride you had just lost, but you were beaten to the punch by Romeo himself.
“Nothing’s happening over here actually, Shemar. I was having a private conversation with Y/N and I’d appreciate it if you let us get back to it. Thank you.” Matthew’s voice had picked up an edge and his eyes were dark. Like really dark. Although the situation was super uncomfortable and kind of unsettling, considering how feral he looked, you couldn’t help to think about how HOT it was. How hot he was.
“Woah, sorry kid. I didn’t mean to interrupt, just thought I’d introduce myself.”
Seeming to notice his mistakes, Matthew’s eyes quickly returned to their normal color and he stuttered out an apology, with slightly labored breaths.
“No, no I’m sorry man. I didn’t mean to snap like that, just been kind of on edge today”, he said, darting his eyes towards you quickly before redirecting his attention and clearing his throat.
“It’s all good Pretty Ricky, I get like that sometimes too. I’ll catch you guys later. It was nice to meet you Y/N”, he spoke before turning and retreating in the direction of the cast trailers. Shifting your focus back to Matthew, you could tell he was still a bit tense. You gently placed your hand on his shoulder to grab his attention, quietly asking if he was ok.
“Hmm what? Oh, um yeah. Yup. I’m-I’m good. All good. Like I said just a little on edge today. I haven’t had enough coffee”, he hastily responded. Before you could push further, the silence was broken by a shrill voice you were too familiar with, Khalia, unfortunately calling for your assistance at one of the most inopportune times. You turned back to him and gave a sad smile.
“See you around,” you asked, with just a little too much excitement laced in your voice.
“Y-yeah. Of course!” He seemed to have perked up a bit and gave you a wide grin. With a small wave, you were off to do whatever in God’s name the queen wanted from you now.
~~~
The week you were on set was surprisingly going by pretty damn quickly.
As much as you were anxiously awaiting the end so you could be free from Khalia for a bit of time, you couldn’t help but lament the fact that you would have to leave what felt like your second home. You would have to leave Matthew. That’s what hurt most of all. The two of you had become quite close in the short time you had been on set. Well, maybe not close per say, but comfortable? Sure. You guys were comfortable with each other, maybe a little too much on your end. Since that moment with Shemar and his outburst, the tenseness never seemed to dissipate completely. The two of you had shared some quick glances while he was filming a scene or while you were navigating the complex maze that was this sound stage. Whenever the two of you were near each other, he always appeared to go out of his way to get some kind of contact with you, whether it was his shoulder rubbing against yours or his fingers brushing yours as he passed by you. You, still in the mindset that someone as amazing and talented as him would never want anything to do you with you, didn’t really think much of his actions, simply playing them off as accidents and coincidences.
Although you caught him staring at you on more than one occasion during your time there, you definitely spent the majority of your time ogling the fine specimen. You didn’t understand how a person could be so perfect. Seemingly no flaws. Sure, you had known pretty much every fun fact about the man when you had arrived on set a couple days ago, but now that you had spent some time with him, you were even more enamored. Matthew was an enigma and you wanted him. So fucking bad. Unfortunately, so did basically every other girl on the planet. You really shouldn’t be wasting so much time thinking about him, but at this point you were just in too deep. Watching him do his thing on the sound stage was like watching your own personal exhibition, so much talent pouring out of him he shouldn’t have even been allowed to do what he does. The world would certainly be a lot darker without his geniusness though so you supposed it was ok. As the scene you had been watching came to a close, you decided you really wanted to talk to Matthew again, missing the sound of his velvety voice as he focused on you and only you during the few conversations you’d gotten to have so far. Just as you were about to reach him, though, Khalia appeared out of nowhere directly in front of him with the same look in her eyes she had given him your first day on set. Hunger. You didn’t really know what to do now so you just kind of stood there watching the interaction. The conversation was just out of range, but you could tell she had said something that had made them both laugh. You also watched her place her hands on him in a very flirty way. And much to your dismay, he didn’t seem to be that bothered by it.
You knew that you had absolutely no right to be jealous of her advances, seeing there was nothing between the two of you, but you couldn’t help but feel a bit hurt. You had known all along that he didn’t have those kinds of feelings for you, but the cold, hard truth being presented on a silver platter right in your face sucked. A whole hell of a lot. Deciding to leave the two of them to enjoy their moment, you turned and made your way to the snack table on the opposite side of the room. As you got closer, you noticed Shemar lingering around it, seemingly snacking on something among the array of treats presented on the table.
“Hey. Nice to see you again”, you said with a small smile, alerting him of your presence.
You had gotten a bit closer to him over the last few days, getting to know more about him, rather than just his character. He was a really nice guy. Very charming, much like his TV counterpart.
“Y/N! Hey! How are you today?”
“I’m ok. Not one of the best, but hey I’m alive I guess”, you said with a sad smile. Worry quickly spreading across his face, he pulled you into a hug, gently caressing your back.
“Hey don’t say that babydoll. It might not be the best of days, but everyday is worth living in my eyes. We’re all so lucky to be given the chance to be here so why not say fuck it and make everyday a party.” You pulled away from him chuckling at his words, feeling slightly better than you had before. You were grateful for Shemar helping you out when you needed a mood boost.
“Thanks Shemar. You sure know how to make a girl feel better.”
“Anytime baby girl”, he said with a wink, making you giggle again at his silly nicknames and behavior towards you. A little bit more at ease, you let your eyes survey the room real quick, eventually landing on Matthew. A very angry and annoyed looking Matthew. He was staring directly at the two of you, his hands balled into fists at his sides, his breathing heavy, his eyes as dark as could be. Less than a minute later, he turned around and stormed off in the direction of what you assumed was his trailer. Quickly focusing on Shemar again, you excused yourself and then immediately ran off in the direction he had headed just moments before.
You were able to locate the trailer simply labeled “MGG” fairly quickly and you cautiously approached the steps leading up to the entrance. Would he even want to see you? Why were you special enough to even be this close to his trailer? Before you could second guess yourself anymore, you speedily climbed the steps and knocked on the door, an action based solely on the fact he was without a doubt upset about something and apparently it was your fault to some degree.
You heard some rustling behind the door before his voice rang out.
“Who is it?”
Shit. He sounded really upset. Pushing aside the anxiety bubbling in your chest, you decided that you were curious more than anything and wanted to know what you had done to get his panties in such a twist.
“I-It’s Y/N.”
Immediately the door swung open, making you jump slightly. Without saying a word, he grabbed your arm and dragged you over the threshold, handling you like a rag-doll. Once you were inside he released your arm and began pacing around the trailer, breathing pretty heavily. Maybe it was a mistake coming here. You thought you should probably go and leave him alone for a bit so he could cool off.
“I-I shouldn’t have come here. I’ll leave you be”, you sputtered out, quickly making your way towards the exit. However, before you could even reach the door, his deep voice echoed through the trailer.
“Why did you let him touch you like that?”
You froze mid-step, unsure of how to respond. “Huh?” Wow, nice going Y/N. Really scraped the dictionaries for that one.
“Shemar. Why did you let him put his hands on you and touch you like that?” As he spoke his question, he slowly moved towards you, like a predator eyeing its prey. What was he talking about? Why did he care that you and Shemar had shared a brief hug? And most perplexing of all, why in the hell was he looking at you with such fire in his eyes.
“I-I don’t know what you mean Matthew.”
After his name fell from your lips, you saw his mouth twitch as he moved to close the gap between the two of you, leaving just enough space that your breaths intermingled, but no actual physical contact was occuring.
“You’re mine, Y/N. You. Are. Mine.” What did he just say? Were you imagining this whole situation in some sick dream of yours? Your brain was struggling to catch up.
“What are you even talki-.”
Before you could finish your sentence, Matthew had surged forward, clashing his mouth against yours, hungrily devouring your lips like they were his favorite meal. You moaned at the contact, letting the shock envelope your entire body. He was ravenous, tongue pressing against your lips, begging for entry. Finally processing what the hell was happening, your mouth quickly opened and welcomed his needy tongue, feeling it tangle with yours as he released the most delicious moan you had ever heard in all the years you had been alive. His hands moved frantically, hastily ripping at the clothes covering your body, desperate to feel any part of you that he could.
You couldn’t even comprehend how this was happening. Matthew wanted you? Not only did he want you, but he was acting on it too. Fuck. He had said you were his. Did he really mean that?
Breaking away from your lips to pull your blouse over your head, you could’ve sworn you heard a growl escape his throat as his eyes hungrily drank in your appearance, left only in your bra and panties. “Fuck, you’re gorgeous. How are you so fucking hot?” Holy shit. The pure lust that dripped in his words made your legs feel like Jell-O, barely keeping it together as he shed his own shirt and began unbuckling his belt. Apparently that was what caused the wire in your brain to snap, your body surging forward to reconnect your lips and rake your nails down his chest.
“Please Matthew”, you whined, not even entirely sure what you wanted him to do. You just needed more.
Groaning at the desperation evident in your voice, he let his hand drift down your body, toying with the waistband of your panties. “Please what? What do you want from me, sweetheart?” His words made you whimper, grasping his hand to try and maneuver it underneath the damp fabric covering the place you needed him most.
“Uh uh uh. I want you to use your words princess. You can do that for me can’t you?”
Nodding your head fervently, you pushed aside any embarrassment you felt and answered almost immediately as the words left his mouth. “I want you to touch me! Please Matthew, I’m begging you!” As soon as you finished your desperate plea, his nimble fingers had ripped your panties down your legs and he was guiding you towards the couch conveniently located nearby. The two of you stumbled onto the cushions, Matthew hovering over you pinning you down, his large erection pressing into your thigh through his pants. You choked on a breath as one of his long, narrow fingers entered you swiftly, pumping in and out of you at a brutal pace, soon followed by two more. You were a whimpering mess as Matthew had his way with you, perfectly curling his fingers to hit your special spot over and over again. You needed him inside of you now or you were gonna explode.
“You’re so wet sweetheart. This all for me”, he questioned cockily, savoring the sounds pouring from your lips, cherishing the way your body writhed underneath his.
“Yes Matthew! It’s all for you. Only you”, your words were accompanied by a long, drawn out moan.
“Good girl”, he growled as his fingers picked up their pace, pushing you dangerously close to the edge. Matthew must have picked up on the fact based on the way your muscles were clenching around his digits and the way your breath was becoming more and more labored.
“That’s it, baby. Come for me, little girl. Come all over my fingers.” His graphic words made your eyes roll back in your head as you felt your orgasm crash through your body, Matthew continuing his ministrations throughout the entirety of it. As you came down from your high and opened your eyes, you were met with the beautiful vision of Matthew sucking your juices off of himself, staring intently at you with lust-filled eyes. “Mmmm, so fucking sweet baby”, he moaned as he licked the last bit away. Realizing you simply couldn’t wait any longer, you grabbed onto his forearm, pulling him to you as close as physically possible.
“Matthew I need you inside of me right now. Please. Please, I need you.” You felt like you were on the verge of crying, you were so damn desperate for him. You didn’t miss the way his eyes instantly darkened even more after hearing you beg him to fuck you so viscerally.
“Baby, I really want to feel you bouncing on my cock. Can you do that? Can you ride me like a good girl, sweetheart?”
Not even bothering to answer his questioning, you mustered up all of your strength to push him up and off of you, allowing yourself to straddle him on one of the cushions. You made quick work unzipping his pants and signalling for him to lift up his hips, allowing you to hastily pull down both his slacks and boxers in one go. God, you were so fucking horny and needy for the man in front of you, you felt like you were going insane. Actually, scratch that. You were already long gone. Finally having removed the last barrier between the two of you, his strong hands grabbed your hips and positioned you over his throbbing cock, slowly letting you lower yourself down. Both of you released matching groans at the overwhelming feeling.
“Fuck, princess. You feel so fucking amazing”, he moaned before gently grasping your hips, encouraging you to start moving. You couldn’t control the string of whimpers that escaped your mouth as you started circling your hips, gradually picking up your pace. It felt so fucking good, incomparible to anything you had ever felt before. As your speed increased and he began thrusting upwards to meet you, his hands reached behind you, finding the clasp of your bra, practically ripping the garment off of your body. Without any barrier blocking your breasts, he sat back and ogled you as they bounced in sync with your rapid movements, eventually needing more and grabbing the pillowy flesh with his wandering hands. The stimulation only made you move faster, desperate for the addicting friction that you could feel radiating throughout your whole being. You felt Matthew’s grip on your hips tighten exponentially, in order to get your undivided attention.
“I bet you thought you looked real cute flirting with him like that, didn’t you princess”, he sputtered, his voice strained and hoarse. The sound of it made your insides quiver even more.
“I-I wasn’t f-flirting. I w-was just being n-nice”, you stammered, feeling your climax slowly building more and more with each thrust. He growled and immediately picked up the pace, speaking his next words clearly for you to understand. “That’s bullshit baby and you know it. Do you really think he could fuck you like this, sweetheart? Do you think his cock could fill you up this perfectly? Make you feel the way I do?”
“N-Noooo! No, of course not. I only want you!” You were a moaning, whimpering mess as you gripped his shoulders trying to maintain your balance, his thrusts launching you into a whole other universe. “What was that, little girl? I couldn’t really hear you.”
“Fuck! Matthew! I only want you! There’s no one else!” You couldn’t control yourself any longer. You lost the ability to move as he wrapped his arms around your waist, slamming into you so fucking hard you swore you could see stars.
“There better fucking not be, little girl. You are mine, sweetheart. All fucking mine. Mine!” His words make the chord in your stomach snap, your climax overtaking your body dangerously fast. “MATTHEW!” Your vision was spotty, muscles clenched incredibly tight, when you felt his cock start to twitch violently inside of you.
“Fuck! Y/N! Oh my god!” As soon as the words left his mouth, you felt his cum fill you up completely, warmth radiating throughout your body as his dick pulsated inside of you.
You collapsed against his sweaty frame, holding on for dear life. “Matthew, Matthew, Matthew”, you muttered as you fought to regulate your breathing. Both of you were shaking, thanks to the world-shattering orgasams you had just experienced, his hands gently rubbing your back, soothing you. “Shhhhhh, breathe little girl”, he whispered so warmly it made butterflies bloom in your stomach, a stark contrast to the way he was speaking moments ago.
Pulling yourself upright, you couldn’t tear your eyes away from his. After a few seconds had passed, a huge grin slowly formed on his beautiful face, letting out a light giggle. “Hey.”
Feeling a smile form on your own face from his silliness, you couldn’t help but fall for him even more. “Hi”, you shyly responded, reaching up to poke the dimple that was visible on his face, giggling when he playfully stuck his tongue out, trying to reach your finger with it. Completely absorbed in the moment, you had forgotten that he was still inside of you and you were probably hurting him, not that he was gonna complain. You slowly lifted yourself off of him, both of you wincing slightly at the sensation. He immediately pulled you back to him afterwards and continued to rub your back like he had before. It was so comforting, you were scared you were gonna fall asleep in his lap, which you pretty quickly concluded wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, noticing the way his eyes seemed to droop as well.
As you felt yourself starting to drift off, you heard his soothing voice near your ear. “I’m really sorry I got so rough Y/N. I didn’t mean to act like that. I just got so jealous seeing you with him and I didn’t know how to control my emotions. I didn’t know how to tell you how I felt.” He sounded genuinely sad when he spoke, the guilt evident in his quiet voice.
“Matthew, baby, don’t be sorry, ok? I really enjoyed every second of it, I promise. As for Shemar...you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I’ve only ever had eyes for you. You’re kind of stuck with me Gube.” You felt the chuckle vibrate through his body at your words and you lazily smiled against his chest.
“I know, sweetheart. I know.” You heard him hesitate and you wondered if he was going to finish his thought, hopefully before you knocked out cold. “Would you-would you maybe want to go out with me this weekend? Like on a-a date? You felt your heart swell in your chest at his question and slowly nodded against him.
“I would love that, Matthew.”
Cherishing the feeling of holding each other in your arms, the two of you quickly succumbed to the drowsiness, falling into the most comfortable slumber you had ever experienced.
