I think vagueposting instead of making a direct response is actually pretty pro-social if you're on a site with lots of users like Tumblr and you aren't a power user and you aren't doing it as a sneaky way to try to start a harassment campaign. The most potentially bad thing about talking shit about somebody behind their back instead of saying it to their face is it can harm them by damaging their reputation while giving them no opportunity to defend themselves. But if just-some-dude writes a vaguepost in which they express their annoyance that wolfpussyslayer696 thinks the Unabomber was a cool person but don't say whose take they're complaining about, the probable result is either the post never even reaches anyone whose good opinion of them wolfpussyslayer696 values or if it does the result is the reblog chain is five or fifteen people in just-some-dude's adjacency liking and passively reblogging the post and one or two supportive or analytical comments but at some point somebody sees it and thinks "lol imagine being a civbrained shitlib who doesn't realize Ted Kaczynski was based, I bet they think shoplifting is morally wrong too, can't relate" and thinks of reblogging the original post with a comment to that effect appended but decides the satisfaction of doing so wouldn't be worth the probable negative attention resulting from doing so. In that social dynamic, which I think is an approximately typical example of the kind of social dynamic vagueposts are usually a part of, the person being vagueblogged about isn't harmed so making the complaint as a vaguepost instead of expressing displeasure to them directly mostly just minimizes conflict.

For all I know, there might be hundreds of vagueposts out there dragging me with plausible deniability that I don't know about, and, y'know, between that and an equal number of equally derogatory posts attached to my posts as reblogs or @-ing me (at least some of which would probably become the first exchange in long unpleasant angry typing matches), I think I'd prefer the vagueposts.

ugh i need to give watari and hasegawa the biggest hugs ever rn (and wada too but he's got some good support rn so i think he'll be fine for now) but i just ughhhhhhhhhh

watari trying to reach out to ken even when she's also devastated about her friend dying and probably feels so much guilt for not noticing okazaki's cruelty.

don't even get me started on ken oh my god he probably feels so much guilt for kamimura's death too cause maybe if he had just stuck with kamimura after breakfast or if he had seen what was happening in the art room sooner none of this would have happened. even worse kamimura basically died for nothing since we was just a step in okazaki's plan to kill tsuno and even worse the only reason kamimura's death was so gorey was cause okazaki saw ken as a threat in investigations so she made him incapable of investigating properly like ughhhhhh that would fuck me up forever man.

i just really hope he takes watari up on her offer, i love both of them so i'd love to see them interact more especially with everything that has happened, i think it'd be nice character development for both of them

i really hope tetro doesn't go down the route of ken being so depressed he just isolates himself from everyone else and that just causes him to snap and kill cause he's depressed over kamimura. i think it'd be so cool if he got to take kamimura's hope of wanting to be cared for and remembered if he died as motivation to stay alive so he can make sure no one forgets him, plus he's gotta get back to his family that he really cares about. plus, with okazaki's earlier comment about him, i think it'd be really cool if we got to see him be super helpful in future trials since he's been kinda "nerfed" every chapter lol since in chapter 1 he was with sasaki who was this literal killer and then in chapter 2 he was with tamba who is (lovingly) stupid and uh we know what happened in ch 3. idk maybe it's cause he's my fav but i think he'd make a great survivor.

i really want to see watari survive too, she's kinda flown under the radar in comparison to some of the other cast, but her personality os wonderful and with okazaki dead i'm so curious to find out where she will go from here and hopefully be a little more prominent in future chapters.

anyway i really enjoyed this trial and the whole chapter, i just love this fangan so much even if it gives me so much anxiety haha. i eagerly await the next tetro friday!

Ok so I’ve been watching a bunch of streamers and was thinking about this scenario because my neurodivergent brain is like that:

Lighter with either a crush or s/o who streams. Maybe he meets them through Phaethon or something but he seems to hit it off with them right away. They’re always cordial to him and over time he feels a connection with them too :3

Honestly tho, this can also work for Asaba or, honestly, a lot of characters LOL anyways—

It becomes suspicious to the Sons of Calydon when they see Lighter on his phone at certain times of the day/night just grinning like a schoolboy. And when you stream he seems to be one of the most supportive chatters whether you have a smaller viewer base or larger one. He’s not reckless with his money so he likely won’t be a 3-tier sub or big donator or anything, but if you mention being in a tight spot financially he may send a few dennies here or there with heartfelt messages. Lighter loves showing his way in sturdy, acts of servicey ways after all <3

Another fun but also sad scenario of this with Aventurine, but you confront him when he donates a little too much lmao… you tell him not to buy your friendship or love and that he should’ve just asked for a date instead bc you would’ve said yes lol

Okay pinkie I know this is all about Lighter, but genuinely this is so incredibly Aventurine coded I had to make it all about him. He’s just so very buy your affections coded, and the idea of him with a streamer partner is so incredibly perfect?

Okay indulge me here, but imagine you and Aventurine are just kinda acquaintances. You know him through the network, and you two have this sorta flirty back and forth that isn’t really all that serious, but it’s fun! You stream full time and you’re pretty well known, but you don’t really brag about it all that much. Aventurine knows this obvi but he’s never tuned into your streams because, well, when does he have to time to?

But one night he has some extra free time and he decides to just bite the bullet and look you up. You’ve got a surprisingly big fanbase, and tons and tons of super loyal chatters. It kinda makes him a little jealous, the way you’re so friendly with chat, but he’s no delusional enough to think he’s entitled to your attention in the sea of viewers.

He doesn’t donate anything at first, mostly because he doesn’t want to draw attention to himself. This is sorta your thing, it would be a bit invasive wouldn’t it? Plus he doesn’t really get spending that much money on a streamer. As much as he likes you, isn’t it a bit parasocial? But one day you’re playing some shitty gatcha game and you just can’t win your favorite character or something and he feels so bad seeing you pout that he has to step in. He’s got plenty of money to give, so he drops $100 for you to spend under the name “TheGoldenTouch”.

You’re so happy, face lights up and you’re thanking him over and over and oh he so loves that look on your face. It becomes his new dirty little secret, spending money on you. He easily becomes one of your top donors and you even reach out to personally thank him, none the wiser that it was him. He’s very competitive about it too, determined to keep the spot as your top donor. Like he’s trying to prove to you that he can provide for you better, even though you don’t know it’s Aventurine behind the screen.

Your other chatters don’t exactly help, teasing you about the flirty new guy who won’t stop sending you money.

It’s not like he’s hiding it on purpose, but he doesn’t want you to feel uncomfortable with his sudden interest in spoiling you on stream. Its… a long term investment is all. One that you have no idea is happening! While he’s donating to you he becomes a bit more bold with his flirting irl. He knows you better now, and you technically know him better too. Even though you’re not aware it’s him you’re getting to know so well.

As TheGoldenTouch he can just be himself without worry of you taking pity on him. You’re very sweet to him through chats and messages and all things inbetween. He gets to know you outside of a business sense, and the two of you have very good chemistry. He’s still painfully aware that despite how nice it is, you’ll never really know him. You’ll never get the chance to know him because even if he lets you in like this, how could he do the same in real life? Looking you in the eyes and seeing the care on your face would be too much for his fragile heart to handle.

Eventually the cat comes out of the bag though. It’s just a slip up when he’s feeling just a little too comfortable in your presence during some kind of meeting. He’s a little too forward and makes an inside joke that has you a little shell shocked before it clicks in your head who he is. He’s rather embarrassed by his slip up, but doesn’t let it show on his face. Taking it in stride and confidence, playing up his generous donor persona rather than the person you’d come to know online.

He figures you’d likely distance yourself now that you knew who he was, but you’re even more interactive with him. Going out of your way to greet him in chat and message him first when you get the chance. It’s so very sweet, but your relationship is nothing but a transaction is it not? You’re making it hard for him to tell…

Ah, but then you try and tell him he doesn’t have to donate so much to you. That you just enjoy seeing and interacting with him. That you wish he had told you who he was initially, because you enjoy talking to him and would like to see him outside of streaming and work. It’s all too much for him to handle from you, you’re just too sweet. How could he refuse you?

He does end up taking you out and spoiling you rotten on your first date together. Even after you are an official item he doesn’t stop watching your streams and chatting with your community. He’s very loyal to you, his favorite little streamer <3

If you insist on him not “buying your affections” he’ll shrug it off. Gift giving is his love language, after all, and he can’t let his competition beat him out in the area he’s best at. It’s a little overwhelming, honestly, but equally sweet and endearing. He’s very proud of you too, bragging about his cute streamer partner to anyone who might listen.

I’m watching this show & there’s an older transfem nonbinary character that’s dating a dad of a 13 y/o nonbinary kid, and I’m on the episode where the kid meets the partner for the first time. and the kid is on my nerves with the typical Kid Hates Dads New Partner shtick. And like I get it when kids have a hard time with parents dating. but because of my own experience with queerness and unaccepting family I’m Annoyed cause iTS GIVING PRIVILEGE!!! interesting to see this become like the way youtube has become a sustainable rev stream for production. Like having just the income coming from YouTube and trying to partner with them seem like such a shit show for earlier creators and I think it’s interesting that nowadays channels will build a backlog before switching to another more lucrative platform. I could see the benefits but also it’s fun because I constantly have to keep moving on from my favourite creators because I’m so fucking broke. Glad they’re getting their bag, and I applaud them for like the business sense of creating an audience first before splitting off, think it’s interesting that this model of online production is more and more common.

- he treats you like a princess though like when he brings you to his parties he will bring you EVERYWHERE

- like a bodyguard too, will bring all your stuff even if they're heavier than his gym bag

- you're the one to always patch things between him and kenma when they fight because they're like literal children

- a whiny bitch too like he's the type of person that's actually so clean so when he encounters a room that's dirty or a bathroom he thinks is too wet or has too much grime in the tiles, he will gag and pinch his nose (same goes for tsukishima)

- when you wake him up in the middle of the night and ask for food, he WILL cook for you

- smells like fried chicken but its alright it smells good either way

- when you go to work, he always packs your lunch

- he loves food so much that you can't remember the last time you haven't eaten, because he ALWAYS feeds you

- sometimes, when atsumu comes over, they both play volleyball INSIDE the house and atsumu sometimes gets too much, but before you could scold him, osamu's already on his ass

- as aforementioned, always expect midnight snacks

- he's like that dude on tiktok who can make everything out of chocolate, except his is onigri. or, well, he can shape anything made out of rice

- one time, on your anniversary, you woke up to a rice shaped like a life-sized teddy bear and it was actually so cool

- and he actually let you design the blueprint for his shop because he wants it to be yours too :(

- sometimes you don't know if he's your boyfriend or an opponent at a beauty contest

- he values skincare more than you do like he's buying face masks and exfoliators and everything and you caught him one time sleeping in one of those peel off mask things

- and he cries when you take off those peel off masks

- smells like rich perfume that hurts your nose

- but oikawa takes volleyball seriously. when he lost to karasuno, you caught him sobbing in his bed when you came to check up on him, and he let you hold him until he fell asleep

- before you guys dated, you two were so close that tne girls actually stopped approaching him one time because they thought you were officially his girlfriend after he held your hand during a field trip to the museum because you almost got lost

- one time, when you and tendou surprise him, you're both caught off guard when he actually jumps– but the thing is that he accidentally hit you with his arm due to his reflexes and you swear you got a concussion after that

- he LOVES CUDDLES and he loves sniffing you and sometimes hes a sub
