My friend

I recently went through a large knee surgery and had to rely on my friends to get around. My friend picking skills have always been limited but I picked the worst friends for this occasion. I had never talked to this one girl called Ava. I had some classes with her but we never really talked. When my injury happened she was there to help me. She cared about me and asked me if I was doing okay. I was shocked. Even though we didn't talk she cared about me.

I never would have made it through these 4 months of Ava wasn't there. I'm great full to her. She even help me by getting her friends to help me with my books and getting my food for lunch. Now she is one of my best friends. She spread love to me even though we never talked. She deserves it for caring for a stranger.

MIDNIGHT MAYHEM

Working as security can be very boring, but yet interesting. Working this concert tonight was amazing! I couldn't work the meet and greet because there were too many people for my taste. However, I got to tell people where to exit. Didn't expect what was coming next. A young girl, very drunk came down waiting for her boyfriend. Until I heard everything she was telling whoever was on the other line. Learning that her boyfriend made her pay for the cab ride from Colorado Springs to Denver, (which is a very expensive cab fare) and then getting with his friend that came along and taking this girls money. Ditching this girl behind to take his friend home, and leaving her broke with no way back home. Talk about messed up! Next thing I know she comes to me with tears streaming down her face, and asking me "What is the address to this hotel?" I told her slowly, "This isn't a hotel, this is the Pepsi Center." She was so drunk she couldn't even think, so the Colorado Springs cab said she had to call the Denver cab to pick her up. So she calls the Denver cab service, and next thing I know she's handing me the phone to talk. My heart started pounding as my anxiety started setting in. But my thoughts were on this poor girl, so I put myself aside for her. And got myself together and spoke to these people as she continued sobbing by my side. I finally got this girl a ride home, I didn't expect a thank you knowing she wasn't in her right mind. But I know her subconscious was very happy with me, and that I helped her as much as I could. I hope she gets home safely, and dumps that low life she once called the love of her life.
