The real horror of Alina's Mal-shifting dream starring the Darkling, is actually the Malyen-part.

This makes me physically sick.

Alina values herself so little a possibility of a shred of his attention is worth constant fighting, cheating, humiliation and being left to her own devices whenever an obstacle appears.

The end of the second book, and Alina's world stands and falls with conditional attention of one (1) shitty guy.

Not to mention what she doubts here, is her worthiness. Her own value.

Isn't it sad? Alina isn't only focused on a single goal- getting Malyen "back". She has to persuade herself it's what she wants.

She is the one taking action as usual.

She ~needs~ to see his face... because she knows it's not there?

Alina's upset, but she's hardly as disgusted with Malyen for HIS ACTIONS than with herself for a fucking dream of being WANTED.

I'm live and let live for the most part despite appearances, but I have to say the damage fucking,,,, the slytherin skittles as a concept has done to other peripheral characters in the marauders era? Unmatched. Is it bad that y'all are making up headcanons about these characters? Admittedly no, you can do whatever you want forever just like me. HOWEVER Is it really annoying that Every Single Character has to have a knock off marauders friend group now? Yes. Does it annoy me that characters who could be so much more complex than they are keep getting used as fodder for relationship drama with fucking Jegulus of all ships? Undoubtedly. Does it piss me off to see characters, particularly female characters, w being used to prop up death eaters who frankly are not half as interesting? Very Much So.

Why does Alina simply assume NOTHING Nikolai does might be genuine?!

This one's for the "If only he were honest with her..." crowd, claiming it's all Aleksander's fault she ran away from him. She treats Nikolai in similar way- and he "only" kept his true identity secret, when helping her escape from the Darkling- the man, who knew him, and wouldn't let him anywhere near the Sun Summoner.

One of Alina's patterns seems to be dehumanizing people, who "sin" against morals instilled in her . Be it the Darkling with probably every aspect of his existence, Nikolai thanks to concealing his identity or herself with "greed" for the amplifiers. Once you're tainted, you no longer deserve her trust, every action is suspicious and deceitful. As a side effect the person concern loses human traits like feelings and emotions.

My grandma [his mom] even kinda knew lol, she wished me a good wedding in Harvest Moon jkbvdfbkjfbjfvbjk she definitely didn't get it, but I think she was just glad I was happy.

As I said in the past [iirc, I think I mentioned this previously at least] dad even has written Christmas gift tags as "To: [my name], From: [character I like]". The funniest was when they bought me Book of Atlantic and the tag said it was "From your husband Sebastian" XD

He also extra supports me keeping all my old fanfics, considering how they're like "time capsules" of me at certain points in life. From the age of my self insert to even what she regularly wore in the fic [and how long the outfit descriptions are] can help me pinpoint when the fic was written, down to the month. Basically, a combination of fandom, Bronwen's age, her style, and even her chosen career path outside of writing all tell me when it was created. Kinda like carbon dating but for fanfic, lmfao.

my s/i for h.aar is a fellow wyvern rider and soldier, has a pet wyvern named olive that she loves dearly. for many many years, ash has been tying red ribbons into bows on olive's horns so that, even when they're in battle, olive can look super cute!

however, as ash and h.aar grow closer, so do their wyverns! eventually h.aar's wyvern (who I call damien) starts nudging and softly growling at ash because he wants ribbons too!!! he wants to match with olive!!!
