Alternate universe where in Batman and Robin (1997) Batman comes out as both a trans woman and a therian. She medically transitions to an anthro female bat.
Nostalgia Critic: "Bat bottom surgery?" They gave HIM "Bat bottom surgery?" They removed the BALLS of one of the GREATEST SUPERHEROES OF ALL TIME, WITH "BAT BOTTOM SURGERY?" NO! NO! DOES NOT COMPUTE! DOES NOT COMPUTE! *dying gargling noises*
*The Critic is restrained by someone off screen. Caption says "20 minutes later*
Nostalgia Critic: I apologize for that outrage. It was childish and immature. I just get a little peeved when I see one of my childhood icons getting... BAT BOTTOM SURGERY! YOU BASTARDS! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU! YOU'LL ALL DIE, YOU'LL GET THE GAS!

If I may add an idea: "Niko" being very big on girl friendships and the whole "sisters over misters" attitude while "Joel" has always been one of the boys (not necessarily by choice, just because she failed at femininity and got bullied for it) and needs to Google how to talk to women despite being a woman. So maybe "Joel" also starts out wary of "Niko" because she has bad experiences with girls' girls and is worried she'll turn her bandmates (who she's only just started to trust) against her again.
"Niko", meanwhile, figures her out pretty quickly but takes awhile to knock the truth into her brain.
I'm just saying I'd REALLY enjoy girl Joel/Niko too 😇❤️
If anyone ever sees a girl Niko/Joel enemies to lovers, college AU fic in the tag, it's definitely not from me no, no. Especially not when Niko is wearing his long straight hair under a snapback and is all cool and loud and obvious with what she wants (it's weird using their normal names when talking about she), and Joel is envious of Niko being able to just shamelessly be herself, and is more than a tad insecure and therefore decided she doesn't like Niko until they meet a party again, and Niko looks right though Joel's walls (and that pretty top that almost shows off her bellybutton over her low sitting black cargo pants) and they get into a heated discussion that ends with other things and-
If you heard a loud thud, it was my head falling on the table.

You know the Gilmore Girls episode where one of Emily's maids sues her for wrongful termination and she has to ask Lorelai to serve as a character witness? That but it's Glaurica complaining about conditions on the Ninth and they interview Gideon.
Also have fun at the concert!! Sending good thoughts for her to play Ivy, it's my favorite too <3
I spent way too much time on this but I truly couldn't help myself

Primary Characters in the Previously Unmentioned Riftfall AU:
(Quick explanation, this is something @sparguscityangel and I kept throwing back and forth at each other until one day it grew a Plot and legs and now its just sitting here, looking at us ominously.)
The premise is that when the Rift Rider blew up at the beginning of Jak 2, where each person fell out determined what year/location they actually landed in.
Daxter landed one year before they were supposed to, but falling one year back through the timestream undid his ottselification so he's as confused as you are. He ends up befriending Ximon and becoming the unofficial third member of Ximon and Osmo's family. He learns to drive, to shave, to pay taxes...and just how messed-up life in Haven City is. Osmo teaches him how to support the resistance when it's not safe to openly rebel. Daxter gets very very good at talking his way out of most security checkpoints. And all the while he wonders where everyone else landed.
Samos landed the same year, and got arrested on suspicion of being The Shadow. While he doesn't sell out Jak exactly, he does mention his existence. This will come back to bite everyone later. He also begs them to tell him if his daughter is alright, assuming they've all been found like last time. He tells them she studies dark eco, in order to make them interested enough to spare her.
This will also come back to bite everyone.
Keira fell out second, after Jak, so she lands further back. She crashes into the agricultural sector as a skinny twelve year old and immediately gets stuck in a tree. Ashelin Praxis is the one who finds her, and when the Baron realizes a year later that the "inventor orphan" his daughter brings food to out of pity is the sage's kid, he starts Plotting. Keira is brought into the palace and offered "sage" training, made to believe she's the only survivor of the crash. Devastated, the thirteen year old turns to Ashelin for advice and comfort. Considering Praxis's similarities to Samos as a cranky, strict, "I'm doing this to save the world" guy, the poor kid ends up being manipulated into seeing him as a surrogate father.
Dark eco is slipped into her food and drink, little by little, in an attempt to build her tolerance to it. Likewise, the kind of propaganda Ashelin has bought into is also slipped into her daily life until Keira, sheltered from the reality of life in Haven, believes it. She's praised and thanked for her inventions, told she's helping the war effort. When she begins to show dark eco symptoms, they're brushed away as a particularly gnarly puberty and she begins combat training. Keira is paraded around upper class schools to spur recruitment for the Junior Krimzon Guard cadets. Posters spring up around the city: "Our Girl Genius is Helping the War Effort, What About You?" and "Darling Dark Angel says, "Many Hands Make the Work Light! Let's Make our Quota Together!"
She's called Girl Genius so many times that when the KG start jokingly calling her Little G.G. Praxis, she doesn't correct them. It's something to distract her from the sorrow connected to her own name and her past for a while. She can't have Jak and Daxter and her father back. But she can make darned sure nobody else in this city will lose their loved ones to metalheads like she must have. Praxis is right: now it's her turn to be the hero.
Tumblr media
Jak was the first to fall out of the Rift Rider, and was knocked five years back through the timestream. He also fell straight into the ocean. It was not a good day for Jak. Lucky for him, a fishing boat was trawling those waters that day, and when the captain found a shivering ten year old clinging to one of her buoys, she immediately hauled him aboard. It takes an hour or two to find enough common signs between them to have a conversation, but even so it leaves Captain Phobos with more questions than answers.
Unbeknownst to Jak, who -- like Keira -- believes himself to be the sole survivor, he's right between what used to be Misty Island and a place called Spargus. There are more warriors there than he's ever seen in his life, and nobody's heard of his friends. But the woman who found him introduces him to her husband, who is shockingly kind for a complete stranger.
Damas and Phobos have been trying for a child for two years at this point with no success, so when Jak literally falls from the sky into their lives, it doesn't take long for them to start wondering if he's been sent as an answer to their prayers. Jak is bewildered and a little freaked out by this at first, having absolutely no experience with present and intentional parental figures outside of vicariously via Keira and Samos. But after a year or two, he settles into calling them mom and dad. In his heart, however, he still longs for closure about his friends and what happened to Sandover.
When Jak is about to turn thirteen, Phobos becomes pregnant at last. Half the time Jak worries he's being replaced, the other half he worries about whether his new brother or sister will like him. And then little Mar is born and Jak cries, because all he wants is to share this moment with his best friends, and he can't. So he devotes himself to his baby brother. And it goes great! Until it doesn't.
Until he's almost 15 and Count Veger sends spies disguised as monks into Spargus to snatch the Child Heir and "dispose of the spare". Jak barely survives the aftermath of Mar’s kidnapping, and despite his parents growing increasingly protective, he vows that he'll bring his brother home no matter what.

(Next Character is on loan from @sparguscityangel )
Ru has no grand lineage or powers. She's not afraid of blood, buuuut this is primarily because she's a vet tech at the only veterinary office in North Haven. Whether or not that strong stomach extends to human blood is yet untested. Ru, like Daxter, lives the day to day life of a Havenite civilian. She dodges the bullets of bored Guards like everyone else, but where some run missions for the Underground and engage in covert and not so covert warfare, Ru is just trying to get through the day without getting scratched or bitten at work.
She hates walking home in the dark, but her loving parents, grandmother, and slightly pesky little sister are always waiting with a warm meal and a sense of safety. Ru wishes the outside world felt as safe as home. But even home feels a little less safe from the concerns of the city when Girl Genius posters are tucked into her sister's backpack on the way home from school.

By succeeding in saving the one she couldn’t save before, Six has managed to stray from the path too, as she has managed to undo something that led her down it in the first place.
And with both of it’s pawns now on their own separate paths, out of its reach, the Signal Tower is finally beaten.
~
And here it is: the final page of ‘Rewind’. With both of its pawns now out of its reach in their own separate timelines, and having expended the rest of its power to send Six back in time to try to restart the loop, the Signal Tower finally falls. Freeing the world of its tyranny once and for all, and the girls are free and alive.
Being given the happy ending they both deserve (Six deserves a happy ending too, goddamn it!(And so does RCG, obviously)), and deciding to adopt the fandom’s trope of them being like sisters, they declare that they are now indeed sisters, no matter what DNA says. (AKA, I love how the fandom declares Six and RCG to be sisters (heck, in some AUs like ‘seat mate’ they are sisters), and I love this trope, so it’s in here too :)) #JusticeForTheGirls
(Remember the route I took for time travel for this AU. Changing the past creates a new timeline, instead of erasing the present/future of the current one. In Mono and RK’s timeline, Six simply disappeared, to the past and ended up in a new timeline, where she is given a chance to retry something that affected her deeply, and succeeds. So the boys still have their happy ending, but if Mono was hoping that Six was dead or something, then he’s out of luck on that front, for now she lives in another timeline where she never met him (she saw him in the tree from comic episode 1 before traveling to another timeline, but they never met), thus both he and the Thin Man are unable to hurt her. And since neither Mono or Six end up trapped in the tower in both timelines, and it used up the rest of its power to try to restart the loop, the Signal Tower’s hope is completely lost and it crumbles into a pile of dying flesh and rubble)
Remembering what originally happened, Six was able to get RCG away from the Pretender before she was able to regain consciousness and led RCG down to the raft with the Pretender in pursuit. They reach the raft and get far enough away from the Nest so that the Pretender can no longer get them, leaving her to shout at them in frustration.
Relieved that she succeeded in saving RCG this time, Six is overwhelmed by the emotions and throws herself into RCG’s arms, her heart healing that she successfully saved RCG as RCG comforts her.
After a while, the raft hits land, welcoming the girls to their well-deserved freedom.
Meanwhile, having used the rest of its power to send Six back in time to try to restart the loop (and failing), and now that both Mono and Six were out of its reach, the Signal Tower finally falls apart, ending the transmission.
Not all is the way it should be yet, as the damage that the tower did to the world is still there, and its up to the now-free inhabitants to patch up the world’s wounds caused by the tower, like the fissures in the ground and damage to the Pale City and deformities caused by the transmission. Some of the deformities are lethal, while others aren’t.
The girls find another beach to stand on and watch the sunset, as they then begin to ponder on what they should do with their freedom. And they’ve decided that they were sisters, and not even their blood can say otherwise. They are sisters, screw what their DNA says.
I hope you guys enjoyed this comic and that I healed the hearts of those who were broken from what happened to Six in ‘Channel change’. :)
Here’s some soundtrack for the ending scene:
I hope I've healed the hearts of those who were broken by the unfair ending Six got in 'Channel change'.

clear card headcanon:
Yuna D. Kaito's "Seal of D" was him getting trapped in Clockland and it activated not because he used his remaining strength to work forbidden magicks against the congregation but because the rest of the Clockland cast escaped the pages of the book through his magic instead of finishing the story as intended.
Tumblr media
like the number one rule when you use the relic is that when you do the magics to activate yeah., everyone involved (or is in it) must remain inside and fulfill their roles until the end of the story— but since the Clockland book didn't have a proper ending, they have to write what's next as they're within the book's power.
but when Sakura wished that she and Akiho switched roles and created exchange, that's where the clockland plot gets wonky: Sakura creates exchange, Yuna D. Kaito takes it so he can use it, the three (Sakura, Syaoran & Akiho) got out because of the magic that didn't only rewinded time, switch Sakura & Akiho's roles but ALSO rewrote their stories.
in the Clockland plot, it was Alice (Sakura) who gets to decide, but at the end, Yuna D. Kaito took that role and not only he did the decision to continue with the plan, he also kicked the rest of the cast out of the book's universe— in which by the book's rules, was cheating. and since he really doesn't have enough time and power left to save himself, he was left there in the Red Queen's castle... looking at the space where he last saw the 3 who got out of the book ... all that remains was him... and the book's guardian (Momo). In a world where he has to fulfill all of the roles and be trapped there, forever.
Because when the deed is already done, you can never go back.
or that's what Yuna D. Kaito thought.
...
i got inspired when i remembered that Yuna D. Kaito said that "all the cast remains within the pages of the book" and started asking myself, since they didn't... what would've happened if they did? or why do the cast needed to stay within the pages of the book? I couldn't think of a good answer for my first question but I did have an idea for the 2nd one so i just went with it 🤷🏻‍♀️ this one's kinda inconsistent though so idk if it's good enough or no i really just wanted to put out more akiho and kaito content that i can think offffff
now why am i writing a lot of yunaaki headcanons recently— im posting the 2nd one and now im starting to think of another one like????

My post canon HC for Princess Tutu is that after Gold Crown is restored the main cast just ends up reforming themselves through a bunch of modern music. Fakir goes from listening to MCR to switching it over to The Killers. Maybe even Paramore (something him and Rue would eventually bond over).
Meanwhile Ahiru ends up learning about Carly Rae Jepsen’s discography.
