Fantasia.
“Magic” (1980) Olivia Newton-John MCA Records (Written by John Farrar) Highest U.S. Billboard Chart Position – No. 1
ONJ, queen of the echo, absolutely stole my heart the 4 weeks this was No. 1 on the top 40 charts for all of August, but I am sure it went on long after, because I vividly remember running home from 9th grade to wait by our giant television stereo console—6 feet long, in walnut—to hear it hauntingly waft over FM radio one more time and once again fuel my dreams. The strings, the guitars, the little bit of ELO-like synthetic thing happening with the voices behind her, and yes, an echo on her voice to make Phil Spector weep, it was and is one of the greatest singles ever. For certain it was one of the gayest.
The big push behind the Xanadu soundtrack was that one half of the LP was Olivia (and I know now her genius producer and songwriter John Farrar) and the other half a then riding-high ELO (Electric Light Orchestra). Now ELO will show up here again; in the mid-70s the band produced Beatle-esque pop songs I adored, but at this stage I felt the singles were starting to verge on bombast (“All Over The World”, “I’m Alive”, and “Xanadu”—which is possibly even more camp than the movie, and a famous flop—were the hit singles by ELO). I also felt that the gorgeous things on her side of the record were rather sneered at as Top 40 pap, even though if you were to turn on any 80s station today it would be clear that the lasting hit from the soundtrack is “Magic”, and that you would be very hard pressed to hear “All Over The World” ever in your life again. But no one is prepared to admit that, even though neither artists where ever considered cool, then or today.

The Pan Pacific Auditorium, built in L.A. in 1935 and used as an exterior for the motion picture Xanadu (1980).
I actually loved the movie, and ran home eagerly right after to make paintings inspired by the Los Angeles/Art Deco fantasia it presented, plus Olivia’s hair and clothes, which were peak that year. All of the songs on Side ONJ (the album, which I am looking at, actually says ELO side and ONJ side!) were the really dreamy ones, and included two underrated ballads, “Suddenly”, her duet with Cliff Richard (Billboard No. 20) and “Suspended in Time”, another pyramid of echo. But none of them could touch the hem of “Magic”, where the planets aligned so rare, and there were promises in the air, and she’d bring all your dreams alive…. for you.
Well, me. Especially me.
-
“Magic” 1980’s third biggest seller, was right behind Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in The Wall” and behind the no. 1 of the year, Blondie’s “Call Me”, the theme song to the motion picture American Gigolo, starring Richard Gere, written by Giorgio Moroder with lyrics by Deborah Harry (based on her impressions of the movie). Gigolo, a film about a straight hustler in Armani clothes who works for a gay pimp, is one of the true style representations for the L.A. of 1979/80 (a feast for the eyes in terms of fashion and West Coast interior design), signaling both the extreme 70s feel of the movie, alongside the more Euro-centric eye toward the clothes and modernism that would define the first half of the 1980s that lie ahead. It would be a Los Angeles/Art Deco fantasia of a very different and darker attitude.

As a further aside, Gere’s hustler character in the film was named "Julian", which was soon to be borrowed for the drug dealing character Julian in Bret Easton Ellis’ classic dystopian novel Less Than Zero (1983), leading to a vision of L.A. even darker still.

Recently, FKA Twigs inadvertently caused a scandal in her native Britain for what she wasn’t wearing. The country’s Advertising Standards Authority ruled that her Calvin Klein underwear campaign was “likely to cause serious offense,” a decision that was met with widespread derision (including from Twigs herself). Then again, we certainly don’t mind when Twigs wears more clothes. She’s currently one of most unique celebrity fashion girls. Even when houses dress her up head-to-toe, she still manages to look like no one else. Twigs has a tendency to make Chanel look just as fresh and edgy as a garment she pulled straight off an up-and-coming student designer’s runway. She also has a keen knack for pulling vintage, often wearing archive garments that she’s collected for her personal closet. The British musician once famously sang “Didn’t I do it for you?” but you get the sense that when she’s putting an outfit together, she’s doing it only for herself. Here, a look back at Twigs’s best red carpet fashion moments. 2025: Rick Owens ShowClaudio Lavenia/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesTwigs did her version of the pantsless trend—mullet and face makeup included—during Paris Fashion Week in 2025.2024: The Crow PremiereJohn Nacion/Variety/Getty ImagesBy Twigs’s standards, this vintage Giorgio Armani number that she wore to The Crow premiere was quite simple. Of course, she elevated the design with one of her signature beauty looks.2024: Met GalaGilbert Flores/Variety/Getty ImagesAt the 2024 Met Gala, the singer slipped into a custom Stella McCartney look that featured a blingy sheer top and underwear paired with a giant statement coat.2024: British Vogue EventDave Benett/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesTwigs’ daring choice to wear sky-high pumps certainly paid off during a British Vogue event. She paired her towering Vivienne Westwood shoes with a sequined mini dress and a fuzzy cape (complete with halo-like 3D details) also from the British label.2023: The Fashion AwardsJoe Maher/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesAttending Britain’s Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, Twigs wore an ivory net dress with daring cutouts courtesy of Valentino. 2023: Met GalaPhoto by Taylor Hill/Getty ImagesDuring his run at Maison Margiela, John Galliano doubled down on making deconstruction elegant. Benett/Max Cisotti/Dave Benett/Getty ImagesWhile some Real Housewives have co-opted Rick Owens’s “Prong” dress, you have to be a real fashion risk-taker to wear some of the designer’s other pieces. Um, do you think having Aqua Saturn in a natal chart can be an indicator of a tech genius?
Aquarius Saturns are the people who are very keen on seeing improvements in the world and they are stubborn enough to try and make them.
You see something and you want to make it better.
Generally, Aquarius placements are conected to technology, innovation (mostly), even if it means hurting others or finding inhumane ways to achieve it. I can see people with Aquarius Saturns having very extremist views or ambitions, wanting to do something out of this world. They are people who want to leave their mark in the world.
All Fixed sign Saturns are extremely stubborn (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), but Aquarius is an Air sign so the Aquarius Saturn person can be very cold, very calculated, very intelligent in their plans.
The list of Famous people and historical figures with Saturn in Aquarius is interesting to say the least:
King Henry VIII (King of England, separated the Church of England from papal authority), Jeff Bezos (Amazon Founder), Kamala Harris (US vice president), George Orwell (Author of 1984 and Animal Farm), Jordan Belfort (Wolf of Wallstreet), Jordan Peterson (Author, right-wing media personality), Lord Byron (Poet), Harry Houdini (Escape artist), Robert Oppenheimer (Theoretical physicist, "father of the atomic bomb"), Giorgio Armani and Christian Dior (Fashion designers), Charles Manson (Cult leader, criminal), the Anti-Christ, Carl Jung (founder of analytical psychology), Michelle Obama (author and former First Lady of US), Friedrich Nietzsche (Philosopher), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Composer) ,Salvador Dali (Artist), Winston Churchill (Former Prime Minister of UK), Aleister Crowley (Occultist) and others. Another recent chart of a person with Aquarius Saturn I saw is Sam Bankman-Fried's chart, the FTX (crypto trading platform) founder.

Rock Me No More, Mr. Duck!
———————————————————————————————————–
“You bought a baby?” Rockerduck stared at the dribbling infant seated in front of him, trying to determine its purpose. Although Scrooge was his competitor, he was still, by any and all means, a financial genius. And much could be learned from analyzing the way in which he conducted his business.
But if there was any logic behind Scrooge’s decision to incorporate a baby into his life, then Rockerduck failed to see it. The tax deduction granted for claiming a dependent was greatly outweighed by the costs of raising it to adulthood. Providing the ankle-biter with the basic requirements of care: food, clothing, childcare, and schooling, was a major financial stress in and of itself. And for what?
“Does it shit lumps of gold or something?” Rockerduck asked.
Scrooge pinched the bridge of his beak in irritation. He could feel a migraine coming on. “I didn’t buy him, Johnny. We’re related. He’s my nephew. And I’ve legally adopted him as my own.” There was a fleeting touch of sadness behind those words. “And he does not poo gold. All his poos have been quite normal, thank-you-very-much!”
Rockerduck rubbed his chin in pensive thought. “But what’s your angle? How does the baby function into your yearly profits?”
“He doesn’t,” Scrooge said. “He doesn’t make me any money.”
“Then what’s the point?”
Scrooge frowned. How could he explain this to a logical-to-a-fault man like Rockerduck? How could he explain this when it was motivated by the amorphous emotions of sorrow and love? How could he explain this when he barely understood it himself?
Scrooge settled for a trite answer instead. “Well he’s awfully cute, isn’t he?”
“I fail to see the appeal.” Rockerduck gave a noncommittal wave of his hand.
“Well…” Scrooge said, “Why don’t you try holding him?”
Perhaps this was something one had to experience to understand. Just as Scrooge had felt a gentle blossoming of affection upon first holding his nephew, perhaps Rockerduck would too.
Rockerduck leaned towards his assistant, Jeeves. “There aren’t any paparazzi around are there? This would ruin my jet-setting, playboy bachelor image.”
Jeeves looked up from the Palm-Pilot he was using to manage Rockerduck’s schedule for the day. He glanced around the club room they were socializing in. A pointless gesture really, since no paparazzo were allowed inside the club for Billionaire’s. “No, sir.”
“Alright,” Rockerduck shrugged. “Let’s make this quick then. I have a meeting to attend at 3:15.”
Scooping Donald carefully into his arms, Scrooge lovingly gazed into his nephew’s big, green eyes. He was confident there was no man on earth who could resist the tenderness of feeling his nephew could inspire. Donald smiled and reached for his uncle, babbling happy nonsensical noises all the while.
Rockerduck made a stiff approximation of the cradle hold he’d seen his parents use with himself in old family photographs. Scrooge lay Donald carefully in Rockerduck’s arms, gently guiding the younger man’s hands to cradle Donald’s head and bottom. Pleased with the work he’d done to ensure Donald was properly supported; Scrooge withdrew his hands. No sooner had he pulled away than Donald crinkled his face and begun to wail.
“Huh,” Scrooge said, “that doesn’t usually happen.”
Squirming wildly in Rockerduck’s grasp, Donald sobbed and screamed at the duck holding him.
Rockerduck’s whole frame seized up with panic. “Why is it doing this?” His face was a twisted mosaic of horror. “Make it stop, McDuck.”
“I can’t really—“
“Command it to stop, McDuck!” Rockerduck yelled. The consternation only made the distressed infant cry harder.
“Try rocking him back and forth.” Scrooge gave a weak smile, hoping Rockerduck wouldn’t agitate the baby anymore than he already had.
Rockerduck jerked his arms side to side like a robot with rusted joints. It did little to calm Donald down.
Jeeves, no longer able to focus on his secretarial work, shot them an annoyed look.
The herky-jerky motion of Rockerduck’s motions caused the baby’s tears and snot to fly onto the fabric of his expensive looking suit. Rockerduck cried as if he’d been mortally wounded. “Look at what your baby did, McDuck!” The liquid soaked into wherever it landed, turning the fabric a darker shade of brown. “This is a Giorgio Armani suit! And he’s getting his disgusting baby snot all over it!”
Jeeves sprung from the chair where he was seated as if the cushion had suddenly turned to hot coals. He took a large step back from the fussy infant and his equally fussy boss.
Scrooge tried to mitigate the situation the best he could, gesturing calmly to soothe the agitated pair. “Just calm down and hand the baby—“
“My father bought me this suit for my eighteenth birthday, McDuck!” Rockerduck continued to rave, shouting too loudly and too close for Donald’s liking.
“Johnny, just give the baby—“
Rockerduck pivoted towards Jeeves to bark at him. “Jeeves, take this baby this instant and get it far, far away from me!”
Jeeves screwed his face up in disgust at the suggestion. “You do not pay me enough to touch that thing.”
Donald was kicking his feet wildly now, his face red with exertion, and his tiny fists clenched tightly and shaking in the air as if he were cursing God himself.
Forgetting social decorum, Scrooge seized his infant nephew from Rockerduck’s violently oscillating death grip. With a smooth and practiced motion, Scrooge lifted Donald to an upright position, resting his head upon his shoulder with one hand supporting his head and neck and the other hand supporting his bottom. Now in his arms, Scrooge held Donald securely, his heaving belly pressed against his chest. Rocking him with a slow gentle motion, Scrooge stroked his nephew’s head with a steady sedative caress.
Almost instantly, Donald relaxed into his uncle’s grasp. His sobs slowed to small, hiccupy gasps as he began to catch his breath. Donald buried his tear-streaked face into the soft alcove of Scrooge’s neck. His breathing evened out as Scrooge quietly shushed him—a low drawn out sound that lapped at his ears like the ocean’s waves upon a beach. For a moment, the world narrowed down to the two of them. The moment enclosed around them like a mother’s arms around her child.
When Scrooge opened his eyes again, Donald’s cries had ceased, and his tears had dried. Scrooge was welcomed with the sight of Jeeves furiously dabbing at his employer’s suit, while Rockerduck waggled his hands from side-to-side, as if disgust could be shaken off.
Scrooge exhaled deeply. He’d seen Donald get antsy around strangers or grow upset when parted from his or Duckworth’s hold, but the extent of his reaction was usually limited to falling strangely quiet and trying to hide. The near-instant repulsion he’d exhibited upon being held by Rockerduck had far exceeded what Scrooge had ever seen before. It was if the two of them were magnets with like poles actively repelling one another. In all his days, Scrooge had never seen a man so hated by an infant as Rockerduck.
It was almost impressive.
Almost.

Golden Goose a unique
Carter's work. She holds annual corporate retreats that bring together people from all levels of the fashion industry and designers at various stages in their careers. "We've done beautiful shows that I've been proud of, but the editors and the buyers are sitting at these shows that cost a fortune and then rushing off to 150 other shows for the next month," she says. "That's not Golden Goose a unique experience anymore. "As designers, it's our job to think about the body's needs," adds Laura. "So we started asking ourselves and the people in our lives, 'How are you getting from point A to point B? Are you running to appointments all day? How many fashion shows do you need to attend? What are you doing tonight? And will you need to take an extra pair of shoes with you, just to get through your day?" A day that-for Rodarte besties like Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, and the Haim sisters-often includes photo shoots, creative meetings, and occasional sprints from the paparazzi.
Retailers like ASOS and Zalando field returns of up to 40 per cent. No, it's not some high-tech performance material developed in a lab. "As designers, it's our job to think about the body's needs," adds Laura. I've always been big on sending tangible letters to those I love because I want my people to know I care about them, sometimes when they least expect it. "In total there were 12 collections on show in tonight's third installment-is Genius going to keep on growing? Said Ruffini: 'Maybe not in terms of designers, but in terms of energy I want it to get bigger and bigger and bigger.
Ariana, Dakota, and Dresden Peters took over the collection from their father, who began collecting in the mid-1980s. Giorgio Armani and Golden Goose Sneakers Prada are reconfiguring factory operations to help produce medical scrubs, while the likes of Versace and Gucci are making large donations to hospitals in Italy. To be honest, for me, working from home is reading scripts, developing new projects, even working out and learning new dance routines. Because now, you can use the time to prepare. From the very beginning, Lawrence made a splash on the red carpet. Or you can opt for the footwear brand's collaboration with Aime Leon Dore's which conveniently dropped Golden Goose Shoes in March, just as we sheltered in place. Fashion’s ‘creative genius’ Karl Lagerfeld dies at 85
PARIS (Reuters) – Haute-couture designer Karl Lagerfeld, artistic director at Chanel and an icon of the fashion industry with his extravagant outfits and striking catwalks, has died aged 85.
Instantly recognizable in his dark suits, pony-tailed white hair and sunglasses, Lagerfeld was best known for his association with Chanel but delivered collections for LVMH’s Fendi and his own eponymous label.
Rumors of Lagerfeld’s ill-health had swirled after he failed to show up at Chanel’s January show in Paris for his customary bow.
Chanel chief executive Alain Wertheimer recalled how he had given carte blanche to Lagerfeld in the 1980s to reinvent the brand, from the Chanel jacket to its tweeds and two-tone shoes.
“Thanks to his creative genius, generosity and exceptional intuition, Karl Lagerfeld was ahead of his time, which widely contributed to the House of Chanel’s success throughout the world,” Wertheimer said in a statement.
A craftsman who combined artistic instinct, business acumen and commensurate ego, Lagerfeld was known for his strikingly visual fashion show displays.
LVMH chairman and chief executive Bernard Arnault said the fashion world had lost a creative genius who helped make Paris the fashion capital of the world, and Fendi one of the most innovative Italian houses.
“I will always remember his immense imagination, his ability to conceive new trends for every season, his inexhaustible energy, the virtuosity of his drawings, his carefully guarded independence, his encyclopedic culture and his unique wit and eloquence,” Arnault said.
Chanel said Virginie Viard, director of the house’s creative studio, would take over creative work for the brand’s collections. Several sources told Reuters the appointment was transitional and that Lagerfeld’s successor would be announced after the mourning period.
Born in Hamburg in 1933, Lagerfeld made his debut with designer Pierre Balmain as an apprentice before moving on to Patou and Chloe and then Fendi.
“He was one of the most influential and celebrated designers of the 21st century and an iconic, universal symbol of style,” his own Karl Lagerfeld brand wrote on Instagram.
“He leaves behind an extraordinary legacy as one of the greatest designers of our time.”

Fendi said it would go ahead as planned with a Milan fashion show of Lagerfeld’s latest line for the brand on Thursday.
“The House of Fendi is in deep mourning following the death of Karl Lagerfeld, who left his mark and genius with us for more than five decades,” it said.
“Now is not the time to discuss his succession. We intend to take the time to honor his life and pay him the tribute he deserves.”
“KAISER KARL”
It was after he joined French fashion house Chanel in 1983 that Lagerfeld gained rock-star status, credited with helping jazz up the label founded by Coco Chanel in 1910 and attracting younger clients.
He was known for staging lavish shows, building Chanel catwalks amid replicas of a supermarket, casino and even an airport terminal.
On Jan. 22, Chanel hosted guests in a mocked-up Mediterranean garden for its haute-couture show. In a collection inspired by Lagerfeld’s favorite period, the 18th century, feathers adorned new twists on the brand’s classic tweed suits, which came with ankle length or fishtail skirts.
Tributes poured in from around the world for the man affectionately nicknamed “Kaiser Karl” and “Fashion Meister”.
Britain’s Victoria Beckham wrote on Instagram: “So incredibly sad to hear this. Karl was a genius and always so kind and generous to me both personally and professionally.”
Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace, sister of the late Gianni Versace, wrote: “Karl your genius touched the lives of so many, especially Gianni and I. We will never forget your incredible talent and endless inspiration. We were always learning from you.”
Italian designer Giorgio Armani described Lagerfeld as “an extraordinary man, both for his professional talent and his life, which he blended and turned into a unique art: the Lagerfeld way of being”.
Actress Keira Knightley, who starred in the campaign for Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume, described him as “a legend both as a man and a creative force”.

French celebrity online magazine Purepeople said Lagerfeld died on Tuesday after being taken to hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine outside Paris the night before.
“He has inspired generations and, above all, he gave us the possibility to dream, with his capability to embrace the present and invent the future,” Carlo Capasa, chairman of Italy’s national fashion association CNMI, said.

The best long-lasting liquid lipsticks
You have to admit that when liquid lipsticks first dropped onto the market back in 2015 the idea of being able to lock lips over and over without smushing colour over the entire lower half of your face, was nothing short of a godsend. Cut to 2017 (nearly 2018) - lip stains have had a surprising resurgence and glittery/metallic lips are all the rage. Come next week, your lips will be standing to attention everywhere you go so you need to check out our list of kiss-proof lipsticks to make your days easier (and kissy-er):
Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored, £19
Already a fan favourite, Uncensored has only been out for two weeks and has been adorning the lips of many a beauty lover on Instagram and who can blame them for loving this iconic red shade that looks good on absolutely every skin tone? Better put them lips to work work work work work work (sorry).
Lime Crime Metallic Velvetines in Raisin Hell, £16
The originators of the liquid lipstick that paved the way for new lip crazes, Doe Deere’s fairytale brand knows a thing or two about seriously trendy colours and creating a lipstick that has a surreal amount of longevity. Raisin Hell is a flawless metallic blackberry shade for NYE that will last late into the night and into the next morning.
Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Fiore, £16
Fiore is a hotter-than-hell pink that will blow away your dedication to nude lips with a single swipe and has a lovely fruity scent, which will start to fade long before the colour does. Your lips will enter the room before you do with this electrifying shade.
Giorgio Armani Notorious Lip Maestro, £29
One for those who love a bit of luxury and don’t care who knows it. Yes this is a bit pricey but it’s Christmas and that’s the perfect time to treat yourself after a hard year of adulting. Exclusive to Selfridges, this classic Hollywood-red lip hugging lacquer is velvety matte in texture, highly pigmented and stays put for eight hours.
Sugarpill Cosmetics Trinket Liquid Lip Color, £14
Sugarpill’s most Instagrammed lip colour ever, Trinket is many women’s go to shade. Mauve with golden sparkles, Trinket is not quite metallic - but not quite matte - but is way more lightweight than other lipsticks, is lightly fragranced and extremely long lasting.
MAC Atomized Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks Metallic, £17.50
MAC has done it again! When will our purses get some rest? These are brand spanking new and we are living for the colours. Atomized is an amazing wintery shade of violet that will sparkle wherever you go. You can build up these liquid lipsticks as the night goes on
Anastasia Beverly Hills Stripped Liquid Lipstick, £20
These definitely do not budge and the colour payoff is insane. ABH liquid lipsticks will be your lip bestie until it’s time for it to be taken off. One for the lovers of nude lipstick, Stripped will not divert attention away from your dramatic eye makeup but bring the whole face together.
Chanel Choquant Rouge Allure Ink, £28
Advertised as a second skin for the wearer, Rouge Allure Ink liquid lipsticks are so bloody comfortable they are akin to pyjamas on the lips with intense opacity and are kind to your mouth thanks to their natural oil ingredients. You also cannot go wrong with shade Choquant for those who want to kill two birds with one stone and have a deep red pout that is impeccable for dress up and dress down days.
Kat Von D Miss Argentina Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, £17
Ms Von D can do no wrong in the beauty world and with her everlasting lipsticks; you know that you’re onto a winner. Famed for being vegan and cruelty free, Kat Von D’s artistic input is in every facet of the brand image and the bizarre colour range (hello black and white lipsticks). If you want something a bit more…party friendly then try the wonderfully shimmery crimson colour of Miss Argentina.
Lancôme 379 Matte Shaker, £19.50
The size of Lancôme matte shakers is sheer genius. Totally pocket friendly, you can pull these mini bad boys out of your handbag and top up when need be. But you won’t need to. Part lipstick, part lip stain, matte shakers will never come off so you will have a colourful pout for days and days… because we literally can’t take them off.
Dose of Colors Los Anjealous Matte Lipstick, £16
Before you say anything, yes red is the dream shade for the Christmas party season but there is also something oh so perfect about a muted ruby red lip that you can dress up with a wing or use as a showstopper by itself.
Beauty Bakerie Cinnamon Roll Metallic Lip Whip, £16
A gorgeous red toned bronze for the ones who want something that is a beautifully balanced mix of glittery brown and red hues. Lip Whips dry down really quickly too which is ideal minutes before the countdown.
Morphe Unsettled Liquid Lipstick, £12
A true Christmas bargain, Unsettled is a deep rose shade that flits between being nearly nude and a soft pink. Think of these as lipstick jumpers that hug your curves and keep you comfy until it’s time for bed.
Charlotte Tilbury Show Girl Hollywood Lips, £24
The perfect soft glam makeovers that A-listers on Charlotte’s Instagram receive for award ceremonies may not be in easy reach for those of us regular people at home but even if you won’t turn into Emma Roberts anytime soon that doesn’t mean that your lips cannot be dressed in full coverage, Hollywood approved, dusty pink velvety shades like Show Girl.
Dior Addict Natural Berry Lip Tattoo, £25
10 hour wear, transfer proof, comfy on the lips and beautiful on every skin tone, Dior’s natural berry lip tattoo will stain the lips for hours with a face-warming berry hue, long after you’ve kissed your chosen one… and maybe the next one.
Buxom Criminal Wildly Whipped Lightweight Liquid Lipstick, £15
For the vampy NYE party dwellers, Criminal is a deep plum purple, which will definitely pair well with cat eye flicks and a seducing soul. The lipstick – or lip butter – will give your pout a soft matte finish and won’t dry your lips out but instead give them a little helping hand with some collagen stimulants.
3INA 505 The Longwear Lipstick, £7.95
Relatively new indie brand 3INA launched quietly in Covent Garden with their extremely well priced beauty collections and insane shade range in 2015. Walking into their shop is like stepping into a rainbow full of fun makeup products. 3INA’s liquid lipsticks have great wear, only need one coat and are extremely pigmented. Win win.
Smashbox Girl Gang Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick, £19
You’re young, you’re hip, you’re walking like Gigi Hadid on the Tommy Hilfiger runway and you’re feeling fine. You’re going to own the party wearing this chic plum lip colour that will last a cool eight hours - plenty of time to lean in and pucker up.
Yves Saint Laurent 20 Tatouage Couture Matte Stain Liquid Lipstick, £29
Lip tattoos are in and we aren’t complaining especially if it’s by YSL, which promises to perfect your pout with this elegant violet colour and keep it there.
