Kaiju No. 8/ Pokemon
Recollections Chronicles
Volume 2
Isle Of Armor
The Isle housed quite a few Pokemon that couldn't be found on the main land of Galar. Heracrosses were one of those Pokemon, a Pokemon that prized there incredible Horn and loved Honey and Tree Sap, Heracrosses primarily lived in forested areas of the island. Which was what made it so wierd to find one sitting on the beach all alone, sulking under a palm tree. Trainer in there boundless curiosity went up and asked the Heracross if they were ok. Heracross was a bit surprised by a human speaking directly towards them, but did end up explaining the situation. Heracross had been wandering around for awhile to try and find a place to call home, but had terrible luck as they kept coming across angry pokemon that weren't willing to share the land. Heracross got chased by a Vespiqueen and Combee, thrown out by a Poliwrath, bulied by a group of Passimian. Trainer felt sad at Heracross's story and decided to offer a home on Gramps land. When Heracross heard this offer at a home, they shouted for joy and hugged Trainer and made there way back home. Gramps immediately accepted Heracross into his home and Heracross wanting to repay this kindness vowed to get stronger to protect his home and Trainer, something that proved vital when a Tyranitar that went on a rampage and ended up attacking Trainer and Co. home when Gramps went to go check something out on the Isle and held out until Gramps got back home to help
The next 2 pokemon were both gotten when Trainer went on there adventure in Sinnoh and decided to test there might in the gym challange with Professor Rowan and Gramps suggestion. Gligar was a Pokemon they met when they travelled to one of Sinnoh's cities that had tons of Skyscrapers, however due to the fact that the Skyscrapers created an odd and strong wind pattern it kept a Gliscor stuck in the city. To add on to the trouble Gliscor's supersonic location bounced off the building attracting other Gilgar to the city were they ended up getting stuck. Trainer had arrived to the city with there travel companions Barry a headstrong boy who aspired to be like his Frontier Brain Father Palmer, and Dawn a talented and upcoming cordinator who aspired to be just like her mother. The city and swarm of Gliscor and Gligar were suffering due to the fact that Gliscor needed to steal food too help keep everyone fed. So the gang decided to help Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny out with coming up with a plan to send Gliscor and the swarm home. Trainer even met of the Gilgar who crashed into Trainer and had a pension for crying, of course Trainer soothed Gligar from the pain of the crash and spoke to Gligar which caused the pokemon to take an interest in Trainer, even as Gligar fell back to the rest of the swarm. The plan that was made was to get as many flying type Pokemon as possible and cause a strong upward current to let the Gliscor and Gligar leave the city. Though there was a hiccup a trio of villians that worked for a dastardly organization Team Rocket that kept crossing paths with Trainer in the Sinnoh region.
Then there was someone Trainer couldn't understand for the life of them
Paul
In many ways Paul was the complete opposite of Trainer. Cold and Callous towards people and pokemon. Paul only saw them as tools not friends. This naturally conflicted with Trainer who saw them as friends and companions that helped both humans and Pokemon grow closer with each other.
The Team Rocket trio ended up catching all the Gligar and Gliscor, but this was foiled by a lone Gligar the same one that crashed into Trainer, that didn't get trapper because of being to busy with eating. The Gligar cut the roped and with the Gilscor and the Gligar swarm free Trainer and there companions sent the Team Rocket Trio flying. From there it should have been the end of there troubles, however another wrench got thrown into the plan.
Paul in a very callous display towards both pokemon and human, used his Weavile too wound the Gliscor and capture it. Making all of the Gligar start to scatter from losing there leader. To say this pissed of Trainer was an understatement, and they weren't alone. Barry and Dawn along with Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy were angry at Paul for not caring about the Gligar swarm and the people of the city. Thankfully for everyone a unexpected hero emerged, the smae Gligar that didn't get caught began to rally there fellow Gilgar together towards the park so the plan could still work. Thanks to the heroic Gligar's action the swarm was able to leave from the updraft caused by all the flying pokemon they had gathered to help. The swarm of Gligar were now free and able to travel the skies again and the Gligar that had crashed into Trainer came right back to Trainer and hugged there face saying they wanted to be with them. Trainer ended up leaving the city having gained a new friend.
The final pokemon is one that nearly caused Trainer too get into a fist fight with Paul over his down right abusive and tortures treatment.
Chimchar was a Pokemon that did everything they could to impress and make Paul proud. Ever since Paul took Chimchar in after a brutal fight with a pack of Zangoose. Though no matter what Chimchar did, it was never enough to impress Paul and only ever got disparged by the cold-hearted Trainer, despite it all Chimchar never stopped loving and trying to make Paul happy
That was perhaps the most heart-breaking part of it all
Trainer first met Paul and Chimchar at Professor Rowan's lab where Trainer had just arrived. Paul had also just arrived and had gotten his starter Turtwig, Paul would have left but when he heard Trainer had a Blaziken and was from the Galar region, he immediately wanted to test there might and challanged them to a battle. The fight was single battle with each Trainer having 2 pokemon each. First was Elekid aganist Heracross, the fight lushed Heracross a bit due to the electrical moves and Elekid knowing Ice Punch, but a Trailblaze combined with a Megahorn from Heracross ended the fight. Next was Chimchar vs Blaziken and Trainer was incredibly impressed with Chimchar's tenacity and strength, as Blaziken had been pushed back slighty by the fire monkey's Flame Wheel, however there was still a clear level of power between the 2 fire-types, and a Reversal into a Aura Sphere ended it. When the fight ended that was when Trainer saw Paul's callous atitude for the first time and unfortunately it wouldn't be the last. Each time they crossed paths Paul's atitude and actions towards Chimchar irked and then anfered Trainer more and more. Even winning did not make Paul ease up on Chimchar as after beating Trainer's Turtwig Paul still refused to congragulate Chimchar and instead critized the fire monkey more.
To Trainer they were unable to understand why Paul acted and did what he did. The few times Paul cold exterior broke is when Trainer showed off PokeTalk and talked in Chimchar's language directly, during one of the times they both crossed paths at the Pokemon Center. For the first time Paul had another look on his face that Trainer couldn't describe and wanted to say something but the look soon disappeared and Paul bit his tongue and soon left. When they next would meet is when things really went to Hell
In the next post I will finish the rest of Trainer's and Chimchar's story
The Paul stories definitely pissed off the KN8 gang also Kafka would hug Chimchar(whose probably an Infernape now). I also Narumi bonding with Heracross since the two had similar experiences aka trying to find where they belong. Considering Trainer's experience, they often switch up Pokemon but always travels with Blaziken in particular. Also I imagine them convincing a certain Team Rocket trio to become actors or something else.
They definitely have the skills to craft a very successful business plus Giovanni struggling cause the three goofballs left is sweet karma. (Jesse, James and Meowth honestly deserved better than what I heard Pokemon Journeys did to them. Especially since the old manga gave them a much better ending.)

Tee hee I really killed so many birds with that stone.
Got my fucked up gilscor/ making sure that there was a reason why people were relying on these girls to fight instead of their Pokemon they can't. They risk losing their Pokemon their companions for presumably Forever. without you know having to get rid of Pokemon/ put in some of that hisui Terror in the modern times/ a central structure to build something around/jobs
I got pretty nervous in sending that cuz I was afraid of being pushy like the last time.
YEAH that works so well! you also get the drama of the miss fortunes maybe having partners in their civilian lives but having to leave them behind when they're in hero mode bc it's dangerous to bring them along

Here, There and Everywhere
words: 2198
pairings: Ingo/Reader
summary: Ingo's return to Unova takes him through a portal again. It offers the amnesic man much insight into who he is before he's left right from where he came from.
Ingo couldn't recall how he had gotten where he was. One moment, he was busy at work with his duties in the highlands. More specifically, he was looking into an unruly pack Luxray causing problems to a few people that had decided to settle down in the mountainous region. He was going to scare them off with a few ground type attacks from his Gilscor.
Yet, as he walked toward his destination, a strange lightness had overtaken his body. He blinked once and looked up. A portal much like the ominous one that had hung atop Mt. Coronet previously now hovered above him. He was floating into it's strange, personal gravitational pull and away from the earth below him.
By the time the realisation had been fully acknowledged, it was far too late to escape its mouth. He took in a deep breath. Where would it take him this time? The Warden knew that he had come from one into Hisui and his language was not of the region, but nothing could be recalled of his homeland. Hopefully, this time, he would retain his precious, few memories. One last glance was given to the snow-covered rocks below. There, staring up at him, was Akari. Her long, black hair flowed with the wind as she waved a farewell to him. Behind her stood an odd pokemon that Ingo had never seen before.
A tall, white pokemon with a noble, all-powerful aura. It felt familiar to the man, but he had little time to consider his feelings before the portal swallowed him whole, closing behind him. His weightless form continued as he was floating along a linear path through the seemingly endless space. No air appeared to exist in this strange void surrounding him. He had been grateful for the deep breath that he had taken before.
Something about this place felt just as familiar as the pokemon had been.
Without a doubt in his mind, he had been here before.
He turned to face the direction he was pulled towards.
Many portals twirled brilliantly with moments show through them like an impossible window.
He gazed at them, with nothing else to occupy his mind, as he was moved automatically.
In one, two young boys posed together in one, standing back to back and pointing forward. Two pokemon stood in front of them, ready to attack. Something in the back of his mind burned with a desperate flame, but nothing could truly be obtained. Their faces were obscured, but he watched as they won. The boy dressed in white threw his arms around the one in black. He cried out a cheer. Ingo's heart felt warm.
Another showed two teenagers leaning over an overpass to see down where some long, metallic vehicle of sorts laid. They were dressed in different clothing, but everything else about them seemed exactly the same. Ingo still couldn't make out their faces. Words were exchanged in the language that only the Warden and professor seemed to share in Hisui. It was fuzzy and muffled, but he heard a few lines.
“Yep! Let's do it together!”
“Two-car train…”
“Subway Bosses!”
“You are truly my best friend and brother… I love you, *****.”
He couldn't make out the name that the one in black spoke. Something inside of Ingo needed to know what the one is white's name was. A strange desire for knowledge fanned the flames in his brain more and more. It almost was as if he should know his name.
Brother… He wondered what having a sibling was like.
He closed his eyes for a moment, but opened them again as he passed another portal. The same men now stood beside each other in an oddly recognisable place. Their outfits were completely identical green uniforms, but the faces were more visible. A smile was firmly on one, while the other frowned. An older man seemed to be scolding them. The smiling one tried to move to hide behind the frowning one. His heart stung. Somehow, Ingo knew that the uniformed hider was afraid and nervous. He genuinely believed that the older one would protect him.
Older? Ingo didn't know why he used that descriptor, but it seemed to fit. The smiling one was the younger brother to the frowning one being the older sibling. None of this made any sense. He sighed. Moving away, he passed more and more scenes of these brothers.
A new portal revealed a person staring at the frowning brother with a strange adoration in their eyes. The two battled on what Ingo had come to know as trains. A handshake was quick to change into a promise of meeting again. The story kept growing more and more as he gazed into various portals. They grew closer and closer, eventually beginning to court one another. The frowning man, flustering at the affection from his partner. Soft hand holding turning into kisses and cuddling. His heart warmed with all the scenes.
A final one brought the frowning man on one knee, offering a ring to them. Ingo stared as the last of the man's face became visible. The ring on his own finger was twirled as he saw his face staring at the person with a smile. All along… Ingo knew these situations, of course. He knew them all so well. The Warden – No, Subway Boss – had been in all of them. These were moments of his life being shown to him. That was his proposal to his spouse. He felt tears in his eyes.
All the times he had such complicated feelings as he gazed at the ring during his time in Hisui. Originally, it was clang to as some part of his missing past that was beyond his possible recollection. His entire outfit was evidence that he wished to remember who he was. Worn cap and tattered coat kept in his apparel despite the insistence of those around his to move on from them. The ring on his finger inspiring strange feelings in his chest. These were only to grow worse when Laventon asked him he was married. The Galarian man recalling wedding traditions from his own region.
Ingo shared a language with the man. Why would he not share traditions? The Warden had a spouse waiting for him out in the world. They must have been worried sick about him and his sudden disappearance. This would only be worsened by his amnesic state. His outfit causes images of a similar form to himself to pop into his mind. They were almost completely identical aside from minor changes. The man wore white in opposition to Ingo's black. A smile was always on his face that had no differences from his own.
It all made sense now.
Ingo watched a final portal with him having a ceremony with his partner. A woman with black hair standing beside them with a bright grin on her face while he had his twin beside him as his best man.
Emmet.
Before a kiss could seal their union, Ingo found himself being spit out of the void of space.
He landed harshly, a groan escaping his throat.
Heavy, desperate breaths swelled his lungs while his eyes looked around wildly. It was dark, impossibly so to be anywhere in nature. His hand grasped his forehead as he felt everything hit him like a freight train. The seed of his name had sprouted into a seedling before becoming a strong, harsh oak tree that stood with covering, wild branches.
Ingo.
He was Ingo, a Subway Boss. An identical twin who had grown to share a career and life with his brother. A married man whose life was quite under way. The warmth of the tears down his cheeks remained for a moment before cooling in the stagnant air around him. He stood up and tried to travel down the abandoned tracks to the station. A sob left his throat at the time spent away from all those he loved ever so dearly. It was a mercy to have been stricken to memory loss. His heart could not properly bear the burden of knowing all that he had lost.
He was returned to the very subway tunnel that he had disappeared from a year ago. Would you still be there for him? Would Emmet forgive him? His feet continued to carry him on his journey. The darkness would be innavigable to anyone less familiar with these tunnels, but Ingo was a man who these better than his own home. A light shone on him as a depot agent stared at his missing boss in terror. A frantic call was made on the his radio as Ingo climbed the ladder to return to the platform. Questions were buzzing around him, but the man felt himself at a rare loss for words.
He was glad to be home.
Soon, he was led out of the darkened tunnel and into the station proper. Depot agents stared at him as if he were a phantom that should not be upon this earth at all. He cared not any more. His heart about stopped as rushed steps pounded against the tiled ground of the station. A white coat flowed behind a tear-stricken man as he rushed to Ingo. Arms enclosed around him as sobs poured from Emmet. The older twin felt his joints whine from the pressure that his younger brother exerted. He returned the embrace as felt more of his own tears escape his eyes.
Emmet bawled and cried his name. Ingo could only silently rub his back. His heart ached all the same, but the urge to comfort won out over his own catharsis. Moments passed as a small crowd surrounded the twins' emotional reunion. Eventually, Emmet pulled away to look his brother in the eyes. Identical silver eyes gazed into each other's own. Ingo smiled, truly matching their faces. Of course, his facial hair and state of dress easily distinguished them from one another, but the small gesture caused Emmet to grasp his brother's wrists tightly.
“Ingo…” he managed finally, “Where were you? Why did you leave? Don't ever do that again! It was verrrry mean!”
“Believe me, Emmet,” Ingo replied, “If given the choice, I would certainly deny it without any consideration. I was given no such option, however.” The look his younger twin gave him was a confused one, but he refused to let such a thing bother him greatly. Emmet needed to call you, Elesa, and his parents immediately. Ingo was tugged along to the office.
Somewhere, the Warden wished to chide his brother for not even bothering to check on him. He did not, however. Emmet's relief put him at proper ease, too.
The office door slamming open nearly had him jumping out of his skin. His attention had been claimed by explaining what had happened to him to Emmet, that he failed to even hear the heavy footsteps approaching the room. You stood in the doorway, panting heavily. Your pupils were dilated while sweat wet your face. Tense, stiff shoulders drooped as you noticed him. Falling to your knee, you coughed a little while hiccuping. Ingo dashed to your side, arm instinctually coming around you in order to help support you. The struggles of breath became an abrupt laugh as you leaned into Ingo, burying your face into his tunic.
“You're real,” you speak softly, cupping his face while moving to stare into his eyes. Ingo feels the way you move his fringes out of the way. His heart swells with more emotion than he felt possible. Resting his hands over yours, he feels your wedding band still on your finger.
“I'm real…” he promises, “My darling… I can begin to express how sorrowful I am to have left you as I did…” You shook your head at him and leaned forward to press a kiss to his lips. He reciprocates the affection without hesitation. Arms moving to hold your body flush to his. You only part when air becomes a requirement. “I love you,” he finally speaks, the words heavy on his mind. You smile at him brightly.
“I love you, too,” your nose rubs against his. For a moment, it feels as if you are both the only people in the world. That is, until Emmet clears his throat. You jump away from Ingo. The older twin's attention snaps to his brother. He can only giggle at you both.
“If I was the most torn up by your disappearance, brother,” Emmet coos, “I'd say they were my only true competition.”
You roll your eyes at Emmet and lay your head on Ingo's shoulder. “I don't think I could even have half the reaction you did if I tried,” you admit. Emmet smiles sheepishly and scratches the back of his head. Ingo can only wonder about that reaction, but he feels he will learn about it soon enough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Suddenly, you pull away and squint at Ingo. He cocks his head in confusion. What were you doing? A squeak leaves him as your hands feel all over his torso and arms. An expression of shock crosses your face.
“When did you get buff, Ingo?”
He flusters at your words.
You know What would be great? Some of the affected Pokemon are actually the Pokemon from the past. That is why there are some random humongous mon that even once they get reverted back they can't place and said mons can’t tell them that they're from the past/ a huge piece of the puzzle. that random gliscor is apart of that group. It is incredibly paranoid and it's freaking out. like holy shit. If The other two weren't there it will be a 100% Confused and screaming constantly .
(Maybe that gilscor Was intended for Ingo And Emmett intercepted it?)
OOF that last thought... and that's why he gets "stuck" in that fused form
