Some Sansa parallels to other female characters Jon has met so far:
Gilly, for the gillyflower -> Jonquil (type of daffodil)
Ygritte, with hair kissed by fire -> Sansa, with fire in her hair
Val, the princess in the tower -> Sansa trapped in KL/ Alayne staying in the Maiden's Tower of the Eyrie
Alys, fleeing her marriage on a dying horse -> the girl in grey, fleeing her marriage to Harry on a dying horse
Oh if only there was a princess in a tower, named for a flower with fire in her hair, fleeing her marriage on a dying horse, clad in grey. Oh wait...
I love how Sansa has little details that make her similar to all of Jon's previous possible love interests

When Harry gets a cell phone, his contact names and ringtones are definitely so personalized for everyone.
Almost no one's contact name even contains their actual name. A lot of them are just short emoji strings.
Ben's is a blue polo shirt emoji (👕).
Mal's is a middle finger emoji (🖕🏻).
(Even once he starts to interact more with both of them, gets to know Ben more, maybe buries the hatchet with Mal, the contact names are unchanged.)
Gil gets to be 'Gilly' or 'Gillyflower', with some emojis surrounding it (🌻🍇😵‍💫👅).
Evie is '🧵princess🍎'.
Audrey is '🌷princess👛'.
Uma's contact name is '❤️‍🔥👑Uma👑❤️‍🔥'.
She's the only one whose name is unaltered, because in his mind, her name means more than any other word he could use.

That's a Pretty Name 1k @greenhikingboots
While dancing, Jon receives a lecture from Sansa on the importance of complimenting ladies when he meets them.
Courtesies 4k @softvniverse
Jon Snow is in love and Sansa is there to help him.
Memories 1k
“Gilly, he called me. For the gillyflower.” “That’s pretty.” He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name. Jon remembers a simpler and happier time with Sansa.
Dance With Me ficlet
"I told you that I can't dance!" he snapped. He didn't even know why he had agreed to this in the first place. Or Sansa's interest in his behaviour towards women. But ever sense she had seen him talking to the serving girl with a fierce blush and shy stammer she had taken it upon herself to teach him how to talk to girls. And how to dance with them apparently. "Nonsense," Sansa chirped, standing. She beckoned him forward. "Dance with me."
We Can Brave the Dark 2k by @thatgirlnevershutsup
When Arya dares Sansa to spend the night in the crypts, it’s Jon who comes to her rescue.
Nightmares ficlet
Sansa can't sleep, and normally she'd crawl into bed with Father or Robb, but they're not here. Jon is though, and he's even better with a sword than Robb, he can protect her from the monsters.
Games ficlet by @emberalchemist
Mother never likes it when Sansa talks to him, even though Sansa hardly ever talks to him.
First Dances, Feasts, and Other Fights 4k by @castaliareed
Winterfell has visitors from the Vale and Sansa couldn't be more excited. Her half-brother Jon is less enthralled.
Maybe in another lifetime ficlet by @ladywolfmd
Moments before they were to leave Winterfell, Ned goes up the battlements for a moment when he caught sight of a scene that always brought him sadness and yes, guilt. And sometimes with the same longing of things that could've been. But maybe in another lifetime.
Playing Pretend 1k
Robb never wanted to play Knights and Maidens with Sansa anymore - until Sansa asked Jon to be her knight instead.
Before She Knew Better 20k
Sansa Stark wasn't always so distant and cold to Jon Snow.
the half doesn't negate the brother by @thewolvescalledmehome
Jon learned early on in his life what bastard meant. He thought he was five years of age the first time he’d been told he was one. He couldn’t remember who it had been who called him that, but he remembered the heat and anger he’d felt, even though he didn’t actually know what it had meant. He just knew it was meant to hurt and hurt it did.
a moonsbreath from your side 3k by @simply-kelp
Jon has spent nights and days thinking what it would be like to crown Sansa the Queen of Love and Beauty himself, thinking of the kiss she’d given Robb and wondering what it might feel like if she pressed a kiss to Jon’s cheek.
Nipped in the Bud ficlet
Little Sansa feels sorry for her half-brother Jon Snow… Until she finds the perfect solution for his problem!
Maiden in the Tower 2k by @greenhikingboots
While playing a game in the godswood, Sansa decides to teach Theon in a lesson in humility by choosing Jon to bestow with her maiden’s kiss. A story inspired by pre-canon theories.
We're all just songs in the end, if we're lucky 2k by @myrish-lace-love
“Sing me another song, Jon.” Sansa curled up next to Jon’s side. She tucked her head under his chin as the thunder boomed. Jon’s chambers were smaller than hers, but as soon as he saw the first flash of lightning he knew Sansa would be off and running, on her way to him. Sansa was proud of being a little lady at four, but Winterfell’s storms terrified her.  “What do you want to hear?” Jon stifled a yawn. Jon would stay up with her, as long as she needed. Robb would, too, of course, but Sansa had confided that Robb teased sometimes, about being afraid of the rain.  “Florian and Jonquil.”
untitled ficlet by @allbrainsnosense
He tries not to get jealous—though at first Jon isn’t quite sure just what the knot in his stomach is when he watches Sansa bestow a gentle kiss to Robb’s cheek for saving her from the “ferocious dragon,” as portrayed by an energetic Bran. Sansa coos over Robb affectionately, keeping up her role as fair maiden, and Robb kneels before her like her noble knight. It’s a game the siblings had all played many times before—sans Arya, who refuses to be Robb’s “noble steed” as Sansa demands—and Jon has always found himself an onlooker to the merry play-acting that occurs in the godswood.
I've picked up the speed (to jump your palaces) 1k
Jon takes Sansa to the Godswood. She does a bit of thinking.
Blossoming Feelings 2k @hawkeyescoffee
Sansa studied Jon silently as he fell to his knees, particularly trying not to touch the blanket and smiling to Bran in front of him. It was a fond smile that stretched over his face and made his grey eyes sparkle in the sun. It was a smile that made Jon’s usually hard and sullen features soft and nice and handsome? Pretty even. Sansa pressed her lips harder together until they were just a bloodless line as she was biting the inside of her cheek. Did she just really think that?
In another perfect life 1k @captainbee89
Ned comes clean to cat and the rest of the family about Jon's true parentage and notice that things have changed between Jon and Sansa now that the truth is known.
I will ask you once. Please, will you give me my first kiss, Jon Snow? 2k @alczysz17
Sansa catches her cousin, Jon Snow kissing a girl and wonders what a kiss would be like. She can't get it out of her head so she mind as well go to the source!
kiss me on the mouth (and set me free) 5k
Sansa Stark hates her bastard half-brother. She hates his brooding stare, his dark, stranger’s eyes. She hates the way his very existence hurts her mother, that Robb and Arya love him all the same. And she hates that fire that sparks to life every time they argue. --- An AU of the secret, complicated relationship between Jon and Sansa pre-series.

An underrated courtesy is a lady's armour moment from Sansa:
"I don't even know your name." "Gilly, he called me. For the gillyflower."
"That's pretty."
He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name.
— Jon III, ACOK
"Catelyn? A bit too obvious... but after my mother, that would serve. Alayne. Do you like it?"
"Alayne is pretty." Sansa hoped she would remember.
— Sansa VI, ASOS
Her guard is always up when she's interacting with petyr.

sweeney todd: the demon barber of fleet street lyric starters. act one. starters from the musical. adjust as necessary.
what happened then? well, that's the play.
i have sailed the world, beheld its wonders.
but there's no place like london!
i feel home again.
you are young. life has been kind to you. you will learn.
alms! alms! for a miserable woman/man/person on a miserable, chilly morning.
hey, don't i know you?
off, i said. to the devil with you!
there's a hole in the world like a great black pit and the vermin of the world inhabit it and its morals aren't worth what a pig could spit and it goes by the name of london.
at the top of the hole sit the privileged few, making mock of the vermin in the lower zoo, turning beauty into filth and greed.
she/he/they/you was his/her/their/my reason and his/her/their/my life.
there's somewhere i must go. something i must find out. now. and alone.
wait! what's your rush, what's your hurry?
you gave me such a fright! i thought you was a ghost!
did you come here for a pie?
do forgive me if me head's a little vague.
there's are probably the worst pies in london!
if you doubt it, take a bite.
is that just disgusting?
here, drink this. you'll need it.
well, pity a woman alone with limited wind.
i don't go near it. people think it's haunted. you see, years ago, something happened up there. something not very nice.
what was their crime?
my, you do like a good story, don't you?
you've been locked out of sight all these years, like me.
well, i've come home to find you waiting.
and we'll do wonders, won't we?
i'm your friend, too.
always had a fondness for you, i did.
you shall drip rubies. you'll soon drip precious rubies.
at last, my arm is complete again!
how is it that you sing?
are you screaming?
have you decided it's safer in cages, singing when you're told?
my cage has many rooms.
nothing there sings, not even my lark. larks never will, you know, when they're captive.
teach me to be more adaptive.
if i cannot fly, let me sing.
but not even in london, have i seen such a wonder.
look at me, miss! oh, look at me, please!
favor me with your glance!
i feel you.
i was half convinced i'd waken, satisfied enough to dream you. happily, i was mistaken.
ladies and gentleman, may i have your attention, please!
do you wake every morning in shame and despair to discover your pillow is covered with hair what ought not to be there?
you are about to see something that rose from the dead!
pardon me, what's that awful stench?
glad, as always, to oblige my friends and neighbors.
who says the week is out yet? it's only tuesday.
easy now, hush, love, hush. don't distress yourself. what's your rush?
i've been thinking flowers — maybe daisies — to brighten up the room. don't you think some flowers — pretty daisies — might relieve the gloom?
wait, love, wait,
oh, can't you think of nothing else? always brooding on your wrongs, what happened heaven knows how many years ago.
slow, love, slow. time's so fast. now goes quickly— see, now it's past! soon will come, soon will last. wait.
half the fun is to plan the plan.
gillyflowers, maybe. instead of daisies.
gillyflowers, i'd say. nothing like a nice bowl of gillies.
what shall i do? i'd rather die.
i have a plan.
oh, dear, was that a noise?
kiss me!
oh, sir.
ah, miss.
'tis Friday, virtually sunday. what can we do with time so brief?
we fly tonight!
behind the curtain quick!
it was the gate! it was the gate! except, we don't have a gate!
i feel a fright.
i did love you, even as i saw you.
marry me, marry miss, miss!
you're looking less than your best, my lord.
and ladies, my lord, are weak.
ladies in their sensitivities, my lord, have a fragile sensibility.
i mean another noise!
what shall i wear?
i feared you'd gone away.
you see a man infatuate with love: her ardent and eager slave.
but, first, i think — a shave.
you're in a merry mood today.
'tis true, sir, love can still inspire the blood to pound, the heart leap higher.
revenge can't be taken in haste.
and who may it be said is your intended, sir?
pretty as her mother?
all this running and shouting. what is it now, dear?
i had him!
why did i wait? you told me to wait!
there's a hole in the world like a great black pit and it's filled with people who are filled with shit and the vermin of the world inhabit it— but not for long!
they all deserve to die!
there are two kinds of men and only two. there's the one staying put in his proper place and the one with his foot in the other one's face.
because the lives of the wicked should be made brief. for the rest of us, death will be a relief.
how about a shave?
welcome to the grave.
i will have vengeance. i will have salvation.
i'm alive at last and i'm full of joy!
seems a downright shame.
these are desperate times and desperate measures must be taken.
here we are now, hot out of the oven.
what is that?
how gratifying for once to know, that those above will be serving those down below!
we'll take the customers that we can get.
we'll not discriminate great from small. no, we'll serve anyone. meaning anyone — and to anyone, at all.

Jon Snow & Sansa Stark Book Parallels & Mentions 12/∞ : Jon remembering a precious advice Sansa gave him to talk to girls

A Clash of Kings First Read - Chapter 23
(POV: Jon III.)
Setting: The haunted forest; Craster's Keep.
Favorite character: Jon. Because he seems somewhat... happier in this chapter (at the beginning, at least), and he shows how honorable he is by wanting to help Gilly (that's how I interprete the fact that he talked to Mormont about her) even if he can't. And Mormont says it himself: "Your heart is noble, Jon."
MVP: Um... Mance Rayder? If he's gathering an army, the Night's Watch is kinda (read: completely) screwed, I think. They have the Others/the wights to fight, and the wildlings? A large army of wildlings? Robb better come back north soon!
Things I loved/liked:
Jon checking in with Sam at the beginning of the chapter, when they're riding under the rain. And worrying about him before that. Jon's a good friend to have. And also, in that same scene, how Jon takes the word "bastard" with a laugh. It's not necessarily... good, but at least he's not sullen about it (in this scene anyway).
Jon acting kindly to Craster's wife (the one scared by Ghost). And then him defending her from his brothers. And then his second conversation with her, where she begs him to take her with him. It doesn't turn out well for her, but Jon still acted kindly to her (Jon caught her before she could fall, and helped her safely down, and:
"I don't even know your name." "Gilly, he called me. For the gillyflower." "That's pretty." He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name. He could not help the girl, but perhaps the courtesy would please her).
The talk between Jon and Mormont. Because it gives a lot of information on the wildlings and their history, and also insight that was needed on the relationship between the Night's Watch and Craster (so every ranger, including Benjen, knew that Craster was giving his sons to the Others/the wights, and no one stopped him? I understand Mormont's point of view, but still...).
Dolorous Edd and Jon (because I need a good laugh sometimes, and Edd is funny, even if it's in a very morose way):
"Does this mud look like shit to you? Could it be that this whole hill is made of Craster's shit?" Jon smiled. "Well, I hear he's been here a long time." "You cheer me not."
The description of the camp in the morning, and how it makes Jon think of his sisters. Even Sansa, and if I remember correctly, Jon doesn't think about her often.
(Sorry about the weird formatting for this part...)
Things I disliked/hated:
Chett and Lark the Sisterman's attitude towards Jon.
Okay so after meeting Craster, I still didn't like him. The way he treated his wives... Ugh. And the way he acted as though he was better than Mormont and the Night's Watch ("You'll be wanting to sleep beneath my roof, belike, and eat me out of pigs."). Well, at least he did give some of them shelter and food.
Um... It's linked to the previous point, but before even meeting him, I was pretty sure I was not gonna like Craster. Seriously, marrying his daughters??! Plural??! Just when I thought I had heard it all...
Wow. So Craster (and his wives) knows about the Others (or the wights, but that's equally terrible), and he's sacrificing his boys to them?! God, that's terrible. Even for him. And I feel a lot for Gilly, and I really hope somehow she won't lose her baby.
Quotes: "We cannot set the world to rights. That is not our purpose" (by Jeor Mormont), because I think it gives insight into Mormont's character. I read it as him wanting to help but knowing he couldn't because of his vows, which makes Mormont an honorable character, if nothing else. Also, it's a little insight into the role of the Night's Watch, so.
Thoughts overall: Interesting, with a dash of horror sprinkled upon it.

A Clash of Kings - 23 JON III (pages 321-341)
Jon and Co arrive at Craster's Keep, and finally get a lead on Mance Rayder and the missing wildlings. Gilly is unable to join the party... for now.
-
Dywen said Craster was a kinslayer, liar, raper, and craven, and hinted he trafficked with slavers and demons. "And worse," the old forester would add, clacking his wooden teeth. "There's a cold smell to that one, there is."
For half a second I thought "what does the cold even smell like?" then my brain clicked with a smell, and I was like, "oh right, like that, freezer ice and mornings where the frost is on the ground." But like, how do you actually describe the smell beyond the moments when you smell it? Because it's just "it smells like ice."
Also: Craster trades his infants sons to ice demons for reasons. fun! (disgusted sarcasm.)
As he rode past a lightning-blasted chestnut tree overgrown with wild white roses, he heard something rustling in the underbrush.
I don't know why that sentence stuck a bit in my head, maybe because we typically (so far) see golden roses and blue roses, relating to Tyrells and Lyanna, and some part of my hind brain is waiting for these roses to have some kind of relevance even if only symbolically. The imagery of it sounds like it looks cool though.
really need to get myself a print out glossary of house sigils...
"Tell him, wife. Tell the Lord Crow how well content we all are." The woman licked thin lips. "This is our place. Craster keep s us safe. Better to die free than live a slave."
...I get the feeling she already knows, but the Wall's too far and the world so unknown and they're all too afraid to do anything about their (grand)father-husband.
These woman deserve so much better. pfff, name of the series right there. GRRM's A Song of all these women and a good chunk of the boys deserve better.
A girl of fifteen or sixteen years, he judged, dark hair plastered across a gaunt face by the falling rain, her bare feet muddy to the ankles. The body under the sewn skins was showing in the early turns of pregnancy.
Gilly? Hi Gilly!
*adds weight to the steel chair soon to be acquainted with Crasters crotch and skull* we're gonna crack all the things >:(
"I'll not fight a brother while we're beyond the Wall," Jon answered, his voice cooler than he felt.
Oh hon, you've never been cool a day in your life, you just lucked out with an actor who mopes pretty.
Oh, wrong definition of cooler, ahem... moving right along! (I do like Jon, just sometimes I like teasing him more?)
Jon reached to pull aside the cloak he'd hung over the rock, and found it stiff and frozen. He crept beneath it and stood in up in a forest turned to crystal. The pale pink light of dawn sparkled on branch and leaf and stone. Every blade of grass was carved from emerald, every drip of water turned to diamond, Flowers and mushrooms alike wore coats of glass. Even muddy puddles had a bright brown sheen. Through the shimmering greenery, the black tents of his brothers were encased in a fine glaze of ice. So there is magic beyond the Wall after all. He found himself thinking of his sisters, perhaps because he'd dreamt of them last night. Sansa would call this an enchantment, and tears would fill her eyes at the wonder of it, but Arya would run out laughing and shouting, wanting to touch it all.
This sounds amazing, and I wish the show hadn't been made by a pair of asshats so we could have seen even a semblance of this. It's the quiet moments of beauty, the time to pause and breathe, that makes the horrors later all the more poignant and impactful.
"Gilly, he called me. For the gillyflower." "That's pretty." He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name.
Everyone likes to be told their name is pretty, or their hair looks great today, it's true. But also... "My Name is Rottila Phlegmuent." "That's pretty." Jon said, because Sansa had told him too, and she knew far more about what girls liked and courtesies than he did, so he'd trust her judgment on these things. "Really? Do you think so? No one has ever said so before. We'll be married at once!" "(#°Д°)"
Sam's heart was as big as the rest of him, but for all his reading, he could be as thick as Grenn at times. It was impossible, and dishonorable besides. So why do I feel so ashamed?
Because you know she's in trouble, and you know you're not helping. The logistic of why you can't help mean nothing in the face of the fact that you aren't helping.
It's okay buddy, Gilly at least will be mostly alright. *sigh* this series...
"The wide world is full of people wanting help, Jon. Would that some could find the courage to help themselves. Craster sprawls in his loft even now, stinking of wine and lost to sense. on his board below lies a sharp new axe. Were it me, I'd name it Answered Prayer and make an end." ... "Craster is his own man. he has sworn us no vows. Nor is he subject to our laws. your heart is noble, Jon, but learn a lesson here. We cannot set the world to rights. that is not our purpose. The Night's watch has other wars to fight."
Mormont with the hard truths and hard to swallow pills tonight. (I'm choosing to read these in good faith.)
I don't fully agree with the first statement, only because I know about cults and how fucked up people's brains and beliefs (even in themselves) can get, some people need help but cannot get past their own psychological hurdles to help themselves with out the start from outside help. I wish more people could help themselves, I wish the ladies of Craster's Keep could help themselves. It doesn't end with removing Craster's head from his shoulders though. There's still the Cold Ones, the Others. The ladies can't stay there if they're trying to get away from sacrificing their sons. There's still the trip back south, through the cold, and any predators left in the woods, man or beast... to kill a man in his sleep is one thing, an active opponent? Completely different.
I do like Mormont's 'we can't fix the world, we have our own thing,' both as is but also in a transference of meaning kind of way. No one person or group can fix the whole world, we have to focus on what we can do, can fix, can change and do that, or nothing gets done. We focus and fix our thing, some one else focuses on and fixes their thing, and so on, and so on, and together we've fixed quite a bit before you know it.
Meanwhile the mystery of the empty villages has been solved! Mance has summoned the freefolk for reasons only he, the readers, and viewers know. (Mass exodus by any means necessary.)

That whole post was just a bunch of made up nonsense 🤣🤣🤣
Like what in the world is all this?
Tumblr media
Gilly is a Gillyflower so parallel with Sansa? lol
Where is Sansa fleeing on a horse? They have already decided their made up fanfiction is going to become canon and that GRRM is going to redo the entire Alys story with Sansa lmao.
Jon keeps comparing Ygritte's hair to that of Arya's in the text of the books, he keeps comparing Ygritte's everything to Arya but of course, it's the hair colour (which is not even similar in the books) that is important here!
Also, Gilly and Alys are Jon's possible love interests? Gilly?!!
That fact that ALL Jonsa posts are like this and yet there are so many folks swallowing this swill is simply beyond me.
I know some fans' reading comprehension is zero, but I can't with Jon//sas comparing Sansa to Val, calling them both "princess(es) in the tower".
Their characters couldn't be more different and Jon admires Val because she DOESN'T act like a damsel in distress( aka a princess in the tower).

I was rewatching GOT while my girlfriend was helping me pack yesterday and when Gilly came on screen she went “HOLY SHIT IS THE FROM SKINS?!” And then when Gendry appeared she was like “WHY IS THIS SHOW THE CAST OF SKINS?” And I’ve never seen skins, but apparently,,, GOT hijacked the same actors

Here are all of the mentions of Sansa in all of Jon's chapters throughout A Song of Ice and Fire:
GAME:
His half sisters escorted the royal princes. Arya was paired with plump young Tommen, whose white-blond hair was longer than hers. Sansa, two years older, drew the crown prince, Joffrey Baratheon. (Jon I)
--
Sansa looked radiant as she walked beside him, but Jon did not like Joffrey's pouty lips or the bored, disdainful way he looked at Winterfell's Great Hall. (Jon I, same paragraph)
--
His sisters Arya and Sansa would marry the heirs of other great houses and go south as mistress of castles of their own. But what place could a bastard hope to earn?
--
Arya knew what was coming next. They said it together.
"…don't… tell…Sansa!" (Jon II)
--
He missed the girls too, even Sansa, who never called him anything but "my half brother" since she was old enough to understand what bastard meant. (Jon III)
--
"My lord, what of my sisters? Arya and Sansa, they were with my father, do you know—" (Jon VII)
--
The rest of the afternoon passed as if in a dream. Jon could not have said where he walked, what he did, who he spoke with. Ghost was with him, he knew that much. The silent presence of the direwolf gave him comfort. The girls do not even have that much, he thought. Their wolves might have kept them safe, but Lady is dead and Nymeria's lost, they're all alone. (Jon VII)
CLASH:
So there is magic beyond the Wall after all. He found himself thinking of his sisters, perhaps because he'd dreamed of them last night. Sansa would call this an enchantment, and tears would fill her eyes at the wonder of it, but Arya would run out laughing and shouting, wanting to touch it all. (Jon III)
--
"I don't even know your name."
"Gilly, he called me. For the gillyflower."
"That's pretty." He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name. He could not help the girl, but perhaps the courtesy would please her. "Is it Craster who frightens you, Gilly?" (Jon III)
STORM:
"I did say it, for I was."
"Then you saw us all. Prince Joffrey and Prince Tommen, Princess Myrcella, my brothers Robb and Bran and Rickon, my sisters Arya and Sansa. You saw them walk the center aisle with every eye upon them and take their seats at the table just below the dais where the king and queen were seated."
"I remember." (Jon I)

Winterfell would go to Robb and then his sons, or to Bran or Rickon should Robb die childless. And after them came Sansa and Arya. Even to dream otherwise seemed disloyal, as if he were betraying them in his heart, wishing for their deaths. I never wanted this, he thought as he stood before the blue-eyed king and the red woman. I loved Robb, loved all of them...I never wanted any harm to come to any of them, but it did. And now there's only me. (Jon XI)
DANCE:
"By right Winterfell should go to my sister Sansa."
"Lady Lannister, you mean? Are you so eager to see the Imp perched on your father's seat? I promise you, that will not happen whilst I live, Lord Snow." (Jon I)
--
All of you did not seem to include Lady Melisandre. The king's red shadow. Stannis called to Devan for more lemon water. When his cup was filled the king drank, and said, "Horpe and Massey aspire to your father's seat. Massey wants the wildling princess too. He once served my brother Robert as squire and acquired his appetite for female flesh. Horpe will take Val to wife if I command it, but it is battle he lusts for. As a squire he dreamed of a white cloak, but Cersei Lannister spoke against him and Robert passed him over. Perhaps rightly. Ser Richard is too fond of killing. Which would you have as Lord of Winterfell, Snow? The smiler or the slayer?"
Jon said, "Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa."
"I have heard all I need to hear of Lady Lannister and her claim." The king set the cup aside. "You could bring the north to me. Your father's bannermen would rally to the son of Eddard Stark. Even Lord Too-Fat-to-Sit-a-Horse. White Harbor would give me a ready source of supply and a secure base to which I could retreat at need. It is not too late to amend your folly, Snow. Take a knee and swear that bastard sword to me, and rise as Jon Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North." (Jon IV)
--
Jon flexed the fingers of his sword hand. The Night's Watch takes no part. He closed his fist and opened it again. What you propose is nothing less than treason. He thought of Robb, with snowflakes melting in his hair. Kill the boy and let the man be born. He thought of Bran, clambering up a tower wall, agile as a monkey. Of Rickon's breathless laughter. Of Sansa, brushing out Lady's coat and singing to herself. You know nothing, Jon Snow. He thought of Arya, her hair as tangled as a bird's nest. I made him a warm cloak from the skins of the six whores who came with him to Winterfell…I want my bride back…I want my bride back…I want my bride back… (Jon XIII)
An unsurprising amount of these instances have Sansa paired with Arya, while one is a secret, inside joke before Jon and Arya.
