I know you stopped working on it, but can I ask how the Hannibal/Fear Clinic fic would have eventually played out?

I know, I've been bad. Haven't written anything in a very long time. Thanks for the ask!

Bedelia and Villatoro would have had a quick and simple courthouse ceremony.

Hannibal would have escaped prison by this point. Bedelia's a loose end and Villatoro instantly saw through him, so they are both liabilities.

They'd had luggage packed and ready to flee to Italy the instant they knew Hannibal was onto them. The plan was to open a winery, with a bourbon distillery on the side.

Hannibal knocked out and kidnapped the pair of them, Bedelia finding herself and Villatoro dressed in their best and at Hannibal's dining room table. Hannibal had taken precautions by severing Villatoro's spinal cord at the waist and flaying the tattooed skin from the man's arms from shoulder to wrist.

Villatoro, knowing he's already dead, urged Bedelia to run by causing a distraction, insulting Hannibal to his face and using what strength his had left to throw plates, cutlery and glasses at him. Lecter simply slits his throat before stabbing him in the heart with a carving knife.

All in all, Villatoro and Bedelia were married for about 5 days.

Barney was the one who found Villatoro dead. Seeing as he considered Villatoro his best friend, he did not take this well.

The rest plays out roughly the same as it did for season 3 save for a few things.

Bedelia swapped out the gaudy ring Hannibal had given her as part of their farcical marriage for the much simpler one Villatoro had given her.

Similarly to how @tranimation and I headcanon Abel Gideon and Freddie Lounds have hallucinatory versions of each other during times of great danger or stress, Bedelia often has visions of Villatoro that talks her out of dangerous or reckless behavior.

The winery they would have co-owned acts as Bedelia's mind palace, to which she retreats whenever she and Hannibal are intimate. She's called out Villatoro's name on more than one occasion.

Hannibal has fed her her late husband's remains.

Even if he is a "ghost" of sorts, Villatoro does not take kindly to Bedelia losing a leg.

They were so cute back then from Scully defending Mulder in ‘Squeeze’ to Mulder comforting Scully in ‘Beyond the Sea’Gillian Anderson or Dana Scully? I know she wouldn’t exist with Anderson but I have to say Scully. There really aren’t enough characters who are scientists but are also religious, which gave me hope the first time I watched the show and is something I still enjoy.1993 David or 2017 David? Current Duchovny seems like less of a pretentious jerk than he use to be.Mulder or Scully? Scully, no doubts.The Lone Gunmen or Walter Skinner?
