literal moments before this: a group of people in the crowd suddenly started chanting for miles to play standing next to me. he acknowledged it for a moment with the hint of a nostalgic/wistful smile, and then proceeded to level us all with reactionary, wry, raised-eyebrows look and launched immediately into see ya when i see ya instead. and this isn’t even my milex brain talking (the girl next to me literally went “oh wow”), the way he did it was genuinely SO loud. like it was an unmistakeable expression that so clearly showed he feels something about those two songs is inherently connected. it was such a from-the-gut, instinctive response and it spoke VOLUMES. i wish wish WISH i'd managed to catch it on video because i know my description is not doing it justice at all, but trust me. it really packed a punch. like there was this reminder of the most popular puppets song from the crowd (and one that’s particularly associated with all their milex antics at that) , and then this visceral expression from miles of "yeah, none of that anymore" or "look at where we are now" as he introduced see ya when i see ya. there were just. SO many emotional layers. and like yes, i know it's sort of an open secret that see ya when i see ya might be about alex and their creative/personal relationship, but god. this really felt so close to an open admission that that’s the case.

More emotional Muse gig footage Musers! Prelude + Starlight at the smaller club show in Toronto last October. Matt’s voice sounded great! The emotion in it on this song always kills me but in person? Goodbye, I am not here! And I love the trust with which Matt could hand the chorus over to only 2500 people who were there, and we all picked it up—and sang quite nicely, if I do say so myself :)

Matt pointed out to, smiled at, and pointed the mic at the superfans in the front row (me? Not in the front row for bus and accommodation reasons lol, I travelled for this show) and he jumped along to the chorus and I lost my mind. Sorry you can’t see anything during the TITS intro clap, it was too important to clap TITS to actually record anything properly ;) Fun show, I had a blast!

! ⦻ Slenderverse Web Series CASTING CALL ⦻ !

Hi everyone! I’m Tim, creator of an upcoming Slenderverse-inspired web series on YouTube called Anniversary Log. This project is a passion project made for fans, by fans, and follows the journey of Sam Moreno, a college-aged guy documenting his search for his missing girlfriend, Emilia Hall.

We're currently looking to recast both main characters, and we'd love to invite you to audition if you’re passionate about horror and web series like Marble Hornets!

Project Details

Type: Volunteer-based, hobby/student film project. Please note, this is an unpaid opportunity for those looking to collaborate and gain experience in a creative project.

Location: In-person filming in and around San Antonio, Texas. If you live nearby and are comfortable commuting to San Antonio, you’re welcome to apply!

Roles: Sam Moreno and Emilia Hall

Requirements

Flexible Schedule

Most filming happens on weekends, especially Sundays, so weekend availability is key.

Location

This is an in-person role, so we prefer applicants local to the San Antonio area. However, if you live nearby and are willing to travel, we’d love to have you join!

Transportation

Since Sam's character uses a car in some scenes, you'll need reliable transportation to and from filming locations.

Discord Access

We use a private Discord server for team communication, rehearsals, and updates. You’ll also connect with other Anniversary Log cast and crew members here.

Anniversary Log is a genuine passion project made by me (Tim!) and some friends, who are just fans of horror and the Slenderverse, looking to bring our creative ideas to life. Since this is a no-budget, volunteer-based project, there’s no payment involved, but our focus is creating a fun and collaborative experience for everyone involved.
