Hi there! My name is Bri Pastro and I’m a queer doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University. I’m a part of a research team collaborating with University of Maine to investigate mental health in rural vs. urban teenagers! 

Our study is regarding risk & resilience related to mental health in adolescents. We’re particularly interested in online and interpersonal interactions and how these factor into mental health. Participating includes completing a 25 minute online survey.

In order to participate in this study participants must: Be 15-18 years old, be comfortable reading and speaking English, and live in a rural community OR an urban community in the United States.

I've always been curious about this, but when you get a gift card, how do you go about using it?

Do you see it as an opportunity to buy something you've always wanted, but didn't want to spend your own money on? Save it for a treat yourself occasion?

Do you use it to buy essential goods? You need food or cleaning supplies or the like so you put it towards that?

Or do you use it for a mix of both? Buy some treats with some essential goods? Or the item happens to double for both - like, you really like this one cardigan and technically you could use another one?

We're recruiting 15-18 year olds for a study! If you live in the US in an urban OR rural area and speak English, you're eligible to participate.
