working on a story that has the Giant hit the Tiny with a car (long story; she’s fine) and G has to check her for a concussion. and there’s obviously many ways to check for a concussion, but the most common I see in fiction is shining a flashlight into the injured person’s eyes, to check pupil dilation.

anyways, all that to say that I was blessed with the mental image of a giant anxiously hovering over a tiny and trying to check them out as quick as possible so they don’t think before flicking the flashlight on. and the tiny is blasted with light equivalent the sun three yards from their face. like a nuke just went off. oh my god. flash grenade x1000. every lumen in the world is here. giant’s panicking worse and the tiny is concussed, just saw god, and now blind. its a good time for absolutely no one

Jayce stared down at his hands with wide eyes. When he woke up this morning to face the council for his actions, he didn't imagine that he'd find a tiny man reading over his blackboard of calculations and theories.

Nor did he expect to have to catch him when some rubble fell. He was so light in his big hands.

No way.. This can't be real...... Jayce's mind raced with disbelief but looking closer at the small, terrified man, he had to admit.. He's so cute!

Viktor stared up in shock and fear at the giant man currently holding him. He didn't expect to be caught as he looked and examined the scene of the explosion. Told to do so by the Dean of the Academy. He has been a secret kept from everyone but now, the "dangerous" student now knows of him and he couldn't be more worried.

This little scene takes place some time after SD starts becoming a regular at Terri's library, befriending the witch as he asks for help finding very specific books for research purposes (aka trying to figure out if Shop is a shapeshifter or not)

Needless to say, both of them are a bit smitten by the other-

The urge to be kidnapped and cuddled by an affectionate giant is so overwhelming right now and I genuinely have no idea what to do with myself so have this random compilation of g/t things I came up with on the spot:

Acrobatic tinies who use their giants hands and constantly leap from one to the other

Giants with separation anxiety who need to have their little companion on them 24/7

Giants who gently squeeze and unsqueeze their tinies when they’re nervous

Tinies who use their giants as a jungle gum

Human and borrower cleaning session (the borrower gets all of the little crevices the human can’t reach)

Literally anything to do with giant royalty (I love royalty in g/t)

Germaphobic giant who just found out about the borrower living in their walls

Child/teen who has deadbeat parents discover a grizzled borrower and they kinda get adopted by the borrower

Child who has an imaginary friend who everyone laughs off and it turns out they are very much real (it’s a Giant/fairy/borrower/doesn’t even have to be g/t who visits them every night)

tiny who’s body count (kills) is in the hundreds for whatever reason, they get discovered and the human immediately babies them for whatever reason- language barrier and miscommunication is what I’m thinking of
