Apparently since the layoffs a while back, theyve had no one able to actively work on shit, but new leaks suggest the MA5K from Ghosts of Onyx is coming soon, and with a more recent novel including them as weapons used on Zeta Halo, it makes sense.

I sincerely hope this means theyre finally dipping back in to real content, and that the aforementioned melee-gun hybrids could finally come. The potential they could have is insane, bro. A weaker stalker that makes up with improved melee damage and maybe lunge range, and a double-barrel shotgun that can also fuckin fling people? Please 343 i beg of you.

Theyve been doing so good finally pushing this game into a decent state, and while i despise the fact it didnt launch like this, they can still salvage it. New weapons and vehicles would be a game changer and a huge opportunity to bring people back.

⭐️: torn between Kelly flipping off the sentinel and the hunters reciting poetry to each other. That moment with the obscene and arcane gesture is one of my favorite Kelly moments of all time :)

I also just adore the fact that the giant lumbering beasts that have killed so many Spartans, basically do slam poetry with each other. It’s just this really weird duality and I think it brings out the realization that they’re more than just a pair of heavy weapons. Plus I just think it’s kind of weirdly cute! (I LOVE the bonded pair thing too, and the poetry just adds to it).

Also Fred being used as a sled and canonically having WAY too many concussions is another one of my favorites lol. I like that if you look at some of the lore his teammates (especially Linda) protect him from getting further concussed and Linda will also walk him through a thought process if needed (this isn’t super frequent in the lore but I noticed it, our boy Fred needs an explanation sometimes, he’s been BONKED a lot)

💗: I adore halo 4. I also love halo 3 and 2 but 4 has a special place in my heart. I get not everyone likes it but I love how beautiful it is and the story. Especially the John and Cortana stuff. Halo 4 just hits different and I think that’s why I love it. Plus I really like the Forerunner weapons.
