Life update (? of sorts?) : still depressed, and now sick on top so everything hurts nothing is beautiful etc. work on the zine is slow going but going nevertheless. haven't watched a dnp vid in a month but when I drop in over here I do try to reblog some stuff you guys are creating/writing bc it's all so cool! I have your asks and I deeply appreciate them really! I'll try to get to them soon, maybe the interaction will help me some. I don't see myself being able to watch anything new for a while honestly yk the drill, things that usually brought joy stop doing so etc etc run of the mill stuff, it'll pass, but I'm getting quite some context from posts on here so that's good!

Hey, im the anon from danrifics post, and I just wanted to clarify. I totally get why people are upset on our behalf for not having the regular stage and props because we didnt get what "we paid for", but genuinely its okay, they did SO well with the last minute replacements. Like. It didnt feel as if there was anything missing, i couldn't even reliably tell you all the things that were switched out, because it all flowed so cohesively, and the parts that were very obviously changed like the diorama bit was also perfect because dnp made it into an incredibly funny bit, and it felt so unique and special and its kind of cool to know we got to experience a show that no one else has or will. I appreciate everyone saying they feel bad on our behalf, but i promise you there is no need to. We did not miss out, we definitely got our moneys worth imo, and ive seen that sentiment shared by everyone else ive spoken to from tonights show tonight's show.

improvisation does make each show better, so if you look at it from this perspective, i get why y'all are excited about the uniqueness! i wish i experienced it as well, alongside the original show 😏 i'm glad they didn't cancel the show and tried to do the best they could. it seems like they didn't cut out any bits, which is impressive (was the ghost haunting there?). i just wish you all saw the regular set as well, you know!

let's wait and see if Sydney gets the same improvised set, since it's literally tomorrow 😂

It's very early days, but also every adventure they've had??? Again, I think about them in the early days, hanging on every visit and always trying to get back to their bubble together. But also Dan on tour. I wish I could remember who it was that made a post about why now as far as a potential rebrand/launching so hard into joint content again, and the tldr was after wad, Dan coming back and and being like 'Okay. I've done it solo, and I've realized I don't want to do this without you.' And that's the same vibes I get with this song. Being away from each other sucks, and I just want you back by my side.

It's the idea that everything they've done for 15 years, and everything they will do, they'll do it together. In the sense of a joint endeavour, or just supporting one another in solo projects. Them doing shit they'd never normally do on their own, but they have their soulmate by their side so how bad could it be?

I'm not gonna say a lot here, but I know what it's like to love someone so fiercely and be heartbroken that they cannot see themselves for who they are. I've also been the person who can't see it. I think a lot about Phil always being there for Dan, and I'd love to hear him talk about the experience of love in those situations. (And if he never does I totally get it, it's private and it's not really our business. Just from a relatability standpoint.)

OK first of all idk if this game has an audience??? or a fanbase??? I’ve been debating whether or not to do this poll but it is literally one of my favourite childhood games so I’m posting it idc if its a kids scooby doo game its so fun

game summary: shaggy and scooby meet a girl called lila in a swamp. she sets them the challenge of finding ingredients for a stew and in return they’ll get to try it. the ingredients are spread over two locations, a western style ghost town and a snowy resort where there are puzzles and bosses to fight. there is also a talking frog called philippe so that feels very fitting for dnp.
