The baby is nearly here. 6 weeks left. . This pregnancy has been a roller coaster, vomiting, skin issues, multiple hospital visits, joint aches, all the things and yet it’s flown by and shifted me into gratitude for my body, and my baby. I can’t believe my little surprise is nearly here, and I’m so excited to meet them. . They are already a little groover, people have even witnessed baby wriggling in my belly from across the room. . Baby’s big brother is hesitant to admit he wants to meet them, yet consistently asking when baby will crawl out. 🤣 . Then there are the moments when he swaddles and feeds his teddy. Practising for his little sister (he’s adamant it’s a girl 🤷🏽‍♀️). . I’m treasuring this time with him, I know things are about to get wild in the best way. . My heart has also been pulling me into the core of my coaching business. How can I serve you more now? . I’m working harder than ever, and it is filling me with so much joy because when you grow, I grow. Serving my clients and witnessing their shifts to purposeful living is a soul yes for me. I have the best team of Etsy Girls. They get me. . They just brought me this mug which is perfect considering its exactly how I feel right now looking at the final round of Christmas prep. 🤣 . Anything that still needs to be wrapped is going into a bag... bc I can do it one handed... while sipping this much needed coffee... . 1. Working through Ink and Grace’s Build Your Writing Life Course during last Friday’s low-key Game Night.

2. Monday night, staying out until 9:15ish socializing and laughing with our people. (That’s late for introverts.)

3. Visiting family Tuesday night after work.

Years ago, I always thought having kids would get in the way of "ministry" and what God might want me to do. I saw folks who chose to have kids as having given up on a "special" calling on their life (ha!). But years later, I know this IS my ministry and through them and their love for others, our reach has actually grown. We've been able to connect with our neighbors quicker and more deeply because our kids became friends. They have not gotten in the way. They are not holding me back. God is shaping me through them like nothing else could. He is chiseling away at my impatience and selfishness through these gifts and I firmly believe raising them to know and love the Lord is holy, eternal work. Yes, I'm wiping noses and breaking up fights today but in this dying of myself, I know I am finding my life. #getaftergrateful #1000gifts #motherhoodissanctifying

And today... was #dadschool Where they learned all about mud puddles. . In all honesty I don't even care that they had to take 2 baths today. After 4 days of solid rain, wind and indoor play I was happy with them being outside regardless of consequences. . Billy also *camped out* with them in their room last night. A deal he struck with them the weekend before which they had been looking forward to all week. They would ask me every day, "How many more days until dad sleeps in our room!?" . They rearranged all their furniture all week, working out the perfect layout to make a special spot for him. I hope they remember this forever. . It really is about the little things and appreciating the time we have with our littles. One is the sweetest things about this year has by far been the new #bestfriends . I don't know if it's the age for school this year or Cash being in Kindergarten which gives him a longer school day, but both boys officially have a best friend now, which we've never had before... .
