keeping my body relaxed and open as much as i can in these last couple weeks with yoga. i wanted to do a lot more yoga this pregnancy to help keep all my limbs as flexible and strong as possible, but of course each week flew by and i kept putting it off. but i found a good channel on youtube, @sarahbethyoga, and now i’m challenging myself to finish this pregnancy strong. she even has specific prenatal yoga videos, so it’s perfect👌🏽 in the last couple days my belly has become very uncomfortable and this baby is stretching in all the wrong places, haha! one leg up, one leg down, bum on my bladder and head in my ribs... doesn’t feel very great when womb babe decides to practice its karate kicks at bedtime🙈 here’s to trying to stay mobile for three more weeks, i’d take two! and give myself the time in the morning to regroup, refocus, thank God for the day, my body and prepare my mind and heart for another full day!

drinking red raspberry leaf tea ✌🏽 last pregnancy i really didn’t look into anything for trying to help my body prepare itself for labour and delivery, but i decided why not try... 🤷🏼♀️ the worst thing that could happen is that it doesn’t do anything, but who cares, ‘cause it could. some people swear by drinking this tea, or eating dates, keeping active with workouts or walks, making love (you’re all thinking it if you’ve been in this position😉), acupuncture... the list really can go on for a while. kinda like pregnancy, haha 😂 so why not give something a try! almost reaching thirty four weeks with this womb baby. crazy really! by next month i’m going to have a new bundle of tiny human to love on🤱🏼even trying to prepare my mind and my heart for that blows me away! a entirely new baby is being put into kevin’s and my care. to love, teach, discipline, encourage and help guide this child of God to Him. what a blessing, and a big responsibility. so when it comes to preparing myself, my family, for adding a new human into our lives, i have to stop myself and thank and pray to God for His continual guidance in my own heart. that i would listen to His leading more and more each day instead of my to-do list or what not; which every mom out there knows isn’t always easy, but it is worth it! . how do you prepare yourself for a new addition to your family? something practical for pregnancy or something deeper for the heart?!

because sitting in your stroller properly just isn’t very fun 🤷🏼♀️ #kidlife . but actually this guy thought he was the king riding like this. i’m glad we can still get out and about even with an eighteen month old. sure, some things look different and yes, disc golf happens a lot slower than before, but at least we can do things as a family and enjoy each others company. even if going for coffee dates is no longer on the table... ‘cause this little tornado just ain’t got time for that!

well our weekend of camping ended a day sooner than we planned on, Greenwater Lake got a lot of harsh rain and hail today; which left our tent in a puddle of water and wet bedding... 🤷🏼♀️ oh well, it happens i suppose. at least we got some sunshine this morning! this little goober had a rough weekend though. he broke a 103 degree fever the day after we arrived and was struggling to keep an appetite or even a smile on his face 🤒😢 cj’s usuall just bursting with energy and on the go, so having him cling to us and needing constant snuggles was kind of a nice change, other then the fact that we couldn’t leave his side. he definitely milked daddy for all the snuggles! haven’t checked for any new teeth yet, but i’m hoping this kid popped his molars. would be nice to get those out of the way. . on another note, happy Canada Day!! 🇨🇦 we’re so thankful to live in a country that has freedom! finally out of the city and in the woods camping! i love camping, can’t say my husband shares my passion for it, but he still enjoys spending this time with family and relaxing with no responsibilities. 🏕 it’s the perfect getaway. nature, simplicity, no schedule. i love it! kev went golfing with his brother this morning and auntie took the kids for a bike ride, so i was able to get in some solo time! i’ve been trying to be more diligent in my bible reading. i used to have a really good system and self discipline, but most of that flew out the window when i became a mother. 🤷🏼♀️ i started reading Proverbs this week, just a chapter a day and writing down verses or thoughts that popped out at me in my journal. a simple practice, but i hope to make this a regular thing in my day. My motivation for keeping active definitely decreased in this past month of pregnancy, but I think I’m getting a second wind. Just enough to keep active and fit enough during my last eight weeks before this baby arrives!🤰🏼 Most days I’m tired and would rather nap on the couch, but that doesn’t happen anyway with CJ around, haha! My goal for the next month and a half is to walk at least 5-8 kilometres four times a week. Maybe even get in a 3-5 kilometre run once a week as long as I can still do so. And we’ll be hitting up a lot of cheap evening swims to keep cool throughout the summer heat!✌🏽I’ve also wanted to try out the free yoga sessions at Rotary Park Saturday mornings to help my poor aching preggo bod stay mobile 🙈 Open to company for those who would want to join me 🧘🏼♀️ We could finish it off with a local donut and coffee, haha, ‘cause that’s what I’ll probably do!! ☕️🍩☕️ Little Coop-Man and I enjoyed our morning stroll today though. Even with the sun blazing and sweat dripping! #preggomama #letsbehonest #thirtytwoweeks . #vans #vansgirls (at Meewasin Trail)

mmmmm!! that was yummy! i don’t know why i don’t make baked oatmeal more often. i always like it and it makes life a million times easier, also, my kid ate it like a champ! i almost forgot to add the baking powder when i baked this yesterday during cj’s nap in preparation that this mornings breakfast would be simple, but thankfully i realized something was missing, literally five seconds after i put it in the oven, but i fixed that 😉 but there’s lots of tasty blueberries and strawberries in here!! yum 😋 #momforthewin

i never would have imagined or even attempted to run at twenty nine weeks preggo last pregnancy... i think i was out of the running/workout game by ten weeks, but somehow this time round my body has allowed me to keep quite active. this is only my third ‘real’ run this pregnancy, and my last one was a while back, but this mornings run felt amazing! i love getting my legs moving this way. my goal was 5km, so i ran my six kilometre route to give myself a one kilometre cool down. this mama definitely needed it! the last kilometre proved to be more difficult and i had to stop a few times to relax my body, but womb baby let me finish my run 🏃🏼♀️👍🏽🤰🏼 #twentynineweeks #preggofit #littlestobbetwo

happy twenty eight weeks womb baby 🌸 . so excited to be entering the last phase of pregnancy. i haven’t had a hard first and second trimester in terms of throwing up or being incredibly sore and ill, but this little gaffer is starting to make these mama hips and back ache on the daily and i’m so ready for that part to be over! this little one seems to be most active when i’m getting ready to fall asleep; which is lovely to feel all the wiggles as i dose off holding my belly 😊 now to figure out how to survive this hot summer heat for the next three months... 😳 don’t get me wrong, i’m adoring the wonderful weather we’ve been having, but i need some tips from mamas who have been past the twenty-eight week mark on how to best tackle the heat and swelling! ✌🏽 thanks in advance!! 😘

clockin’ in at twenty seven weeks today with womb baby 🤰🏼 feeling mostly good most days and still getting my butt kicked with my lack of energy levels and chasing after a one year old. they say womb baby is roughly as heavy as a head of cauliflower... whatever that means! also check out the before and after photo attempt holding cj. apparently he still ‘needs’ his soother or else the day isn’t worth living 🙈 #dramaking . #littlestobbetwo #littlestobbe #twentyseven #preggovibes

Go check our my stories to see what I’ve been using these new products for! . Seedlings is YL’s new baby line. Gentle and great for pampering our little ones in all the ways! So far I’ve only used the Baby Wipes as make-up wipes and the Linen Spray to freshen our sheets and mattresses. Loving the soft touch of the wipe on my face and the refreshing, yet relaxing scent of the linen spray on ours and our little mans bed! ✌🏽

grainy photo with the phone, but this picture wraps up all the goodness of today and i am completely enjoying this moment. my house may be a war zone. my laundry may just be laying all over my bedside floor. toys scattered everywhere. cj’s overnight bag still unpacked... but, my wonderful hubby did the dishes before he left this evening, coop went to bed in five minutes flat, the wind died down outside, the chirping birds sound peaceful and it’s warm enough for me to sit on our back step and soak in all this goodness. and... my wiggly womb baby is giving me all the sweet moves today🤰🏼 don’t forget to let yourself soak in the moments that matter and deal with the other stuff later!

just getting real cheesy here with this photo... but yesterday i relaxed on the couch while cj was napping with his daddy downstairs; which may i add is the cutest thing, cj loves his daddy so much! i’m twenty-two weeks pregnant as of yesterday and even though i still don’t feel like i really look pregnant, the nice round little belly, i can’t help but get so filled with joy when i start to feel the little gaffer inside of me kicking away. it’s such a wonderful feeling! i know some people say they get annoyed when the baby is bugging them, especially before bed, but it’s actually just my favorite!! i’m still so surprised that i haven’t had to wear any maternity clothes yet. last time i was pregnant i was out of my original clothes by fourteen weeks and had a round popped belly by eighteen. crazy how two pregnancies can be so drastically different, physically, but i’m still so amazed at how the woman’s body changes and accommodates for a growing little human! k, i’ll stop now, haha! . for now i’m just going to appreciate my time growing this baby, even if i do only have a baby bump because i still wear my belt! hah! what’s your favorite part of being pregnant?

so i tried to take some ‘bump’ photos today once my one year old finally fell asleep. haha! i’m torn between happy and sad with these photos though. i don’t feel like i’m showing much in my pregnancy the second time round; which don’t get me wrong, i like it. but some days i feel like i don’t look pregnant. other days, when i’ve indulged in all my pregnancy cravings, i definitely feel like i have a bump (but it’s all cookies + ice-cream!) i never fully lost all the baby weight from my first pregnancy, or toned up all the loose skin. so most days when i am ‘showing’ it’s usually the postpartum pooch and my lack of abdominal engagement...🙈 but today i am 20 weeks and 6 days and decided that i should finally start documenting this babies womb life. so here’s my sad attempt to capture my twenty week baby bump with my trusty iphone camera!! haha ♥️ (at Stobbe Abode)
