Real life story: Jordan, Canaan and I were hanging out in the bed when Canaan decided to throw up all over Jordan. Being the husband that I am, I jumped out of bed immediately to go grab something to wipe it up... and just as quickly as I jumped out of bed, my back instantly locked up! 😂 So, while I’m wincing in pain, Jordan casually gets up and cleans it all up by herself. First let's talk about how I took a stroll down memory lane. A picture Cheeks and I took 1yr ago yesterday popped up on my phone. I took a moment to reflect on how blessed I am to have this little being in my life......(20 Mins later) 😂That moment was short lived by the incident that happened next..... This blessing of a TERROR caught me slipping and quietly took one of my BLACK INK pens. I usually catch him before the crime is committed. But yesterday he won that war. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I honestly thought the rocking chair was a complete write off. But thanks to an amazing Mama hack I found online, I was able to revive the chair 🙌🏽🙌🏽 #momforthewin It took me 1.5hrs to clean it.. 30min sessions. But I did it. 💪🏾💯 And before we go bashing moms saying crap like " that's why u have to watch your kids" or " that's why you have to keep pens out of their reach" 😂😂😂 YA OK glasshouse I'm sure every mom out there can say they had a perfect score of keeping their toddlers out of trouble too 🙄👍🏾 ( Jazz sarcasm) Instead let's celebrate the fact that I SAVED the rocking chair ya'll. The rocking chair is still with us. Let's celebrate that victory 🎉🎉🎉 Mama hack to get the ink out. - hotwater mixed with laundry detergent - wet the area with this mixture first - then use windex in the dark pen areas and scrub in a circle pattern. - go over the area again with the water and detergent mixture. 💞 When your adult daughter tags you in this post...... LOVE HER!! Parents of little kids.... parenting is hard!! I remember!! I had my first son at age 20. ♥️ I always say we kind of grew up together... I did the best I could with what I knew.... I loved my kids, made mistakes, did a lot of naive things... like downhill skiing while pregnant! 🎿 🤦🏽‍♀️ BUT, in spite of myself, they grew up and thrived! 😊 I’m proud of all 3 of my adult kids!! I made decisions based on what I knew; it’s trial and error!! 😋 Last week, I tried a sample of our new kid vitamin / probiotic combo!!!! YUMMY!!! I wish I still had little kids I could give them to!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I gave them Flintstones, Walmart brand, gummies, etc etc.... 😢 What I know now is those have a LOT of extra stuff..... preservatives, food dye, sugar etc... not good! We struggled with childhood illnesses cycling around our house.... I wish I would’ve known better... but thankfully I do now & am excited to share!!! Either 50¢ or 1$ a day ..... could lesson co-pays & meds & misery!! #momforthewin #themoreyouknow #immunesystem #kidshealth
