If I were a writer at a big game company working on a sequel to a beloved series and the higher ups kept telling me to make the game shittier and kept sending my work back to me to be dumbed down even further somehow, and then once most of the writing was done they laid me and my coworkers off illegally without severance, I'd probably gleefully watch as people trashed the shitty game that shipped.
#bioware critical#veilguard critical#datv critical#like I would have had a first row seat to exactly why the game sucked#and it probably sucked to have your ideas trashed assuming that's a thing that happened#and to watch DA get watered down to fucking nothing#if that is what happened#and then to get fucking FIRED after writing the complete drivel they demanded#yeah I'd be eating popcorn and watching the bad reviews come in like I TOLD you Chad the fans aren't THAT stupid#and ahah yeah that sequence sure DOES make no sense after the 'editing' job Barb did#but as someone who does not have a parasocial relationship with the writers and in fact has no desire to learn their names#I will never know how they spent this time#I don't really care#I don't know them#I have the same general wishes for wellbeing as I do any fellow humans#so I hope your popcorn was salty and buttery and hot I guess#on second thought i could also see someone being bitterly devastated that something they devoted so much of their life to came to this#but i still dont think its the fans or haters they would feel devastated by

She’s not used to this kind of affection really. It’s odd, scary kind of, the way he’s so gentle with her. Maybe it’s because after the hospital she was convinced it was a one-time thing, that he’d only done it because she was to fragile for him to treat her any other way, but the longer they lived in Jackson the more she realized that Joel was just like this.
For such a large man, he was so insanely attentive.
At times it was even intimidating.
She remembers the first time he’d ever wiped food off her face. He had sighed beforehand, staring at her as she rambled on and on to Tommy about whatever dinosaur she was currently fixated on. She could see him out of the corner of her eye, and every second that passed with him staring at her, the more she’d talk. This wasn’t the first time adults had gotten mad at her for being excited, but Ellie wasn’t gonna back down just because he wanted some quiet.
Eventually the sighing stopped and he instead reached out his hand toward her face. That’s when she flinched.
Joel was a tough guy, sure, but she’d never gotten the impression he’d hit her. Apparently she was wrong.
She pulled back, taking a deep breath to prepare for the sting, but nothing happened. Peeking open an eye she saw that his thumb was resting against her chin, and he was simply just frozen in place. Even Tommy had stopped eating.
“You had some soup on your face kiddo.” He said, clearing his throat.
“Oh.” She leaned back into his hand then, allowing him to swipe his thumb along the juice on her face.
The rest of dinner was quieter, and she knew they were watching her, silently talking back and forth with their eyes.
It wasn’t like it was that big of deal, FEDRA agents did it all the time, it’d just been so long that he’d taken her by surprise.
Joel however didn’t see it that way.
When they’d gotten home, he’d ushered her inside, sitting her on the couch and demanding her to stay there. “I’ll be right back, don’t move.”
She listened for about five minutes until curiosity got the better of her and she ended up peeking through the curtains. She watched as he paced back and forth, jaw clenched while he muttered to himself.
She couldn’t understand why he was so angry about this. It wasn’t like she actually thought he was gonna hit her, it was mostly just muscle memory, and besides, it was a normal adult thing to do. Right?
When a kid messes up, that kid gets punished. She was talking to much when he might’ve wanted her to stop, so he was punishing her. Except obviously he wasn’t and maybe he was mad because she was convinced he was.
She bit her lip at the thought. Why wouldn’t her brain just fucking shut up for once?
“Ellie.” The door creaked and she jumped from her spot at the window, throwing herself back down on the couch.
Joel’s footsteps were heavy as he made his way to her, but his face wasn’t as harsh as before. She couldn’t decide if that comforted or scared her.
“Look Joel-”
“No ma’am.” He said, one finger flying out from his clenched fist. “It’s my turn to talk.”
Her breath was caught in her throat at that. Maybe she was wrong, maybe he was angry at her.
He was quiet for a moment, mouth opening and closing until eventually he began to speak. “When we were at dinner tonight, and I went to get that food off your face, why in gods name did you flinch?” Maybe he could see the fear in her then, and so he made sure to clarify. “I’m not mad, I promise, I just wanna know. I need to know.”
Even then she wouldn’t look at him, eyes glued to whatever surface looked the most interesting at the time. “It’s not even that big of a deal Joel. I knew you weren’t gonna hit me.”
From the corner of her eye, she saw his own widen for a split second. “Ellie.”
She groaned, tossing her head back. “Seriously Joel can you just let it go. I get it, I had food on my face and you were wiping it off. Now I wanna go to bed.”
She tried to jump up from the couch, feet carrying her as fast as she begged them to go, but Joel was faster.
“Ellie we are not done here.” He grabbed her wrist, making her jerk around.
“I don’t understand why you’re making such a big deal about this. It’s not your fucking problem.”
“The hell it isn’t. Ellie you thought I was gonna hit you, your insane if you think that’s not something we address.”
And maybe it was the confusion about this whole situation, but something in her snapped. “Why the fuck do you care?! You said it yourself, you’re not my dad, and I’m not your fucking kid so stop acting like this is something it’s not.”
She saw hurt flash in his eyes then and it made her feel physical pain knowing she was the one who caused that, but for some reason her mouth just wouldn’t stop.
“I know your pissed okay, but just let it go. It’s none of your business and-” Suddenly his arms were reaching out, and though she tried to fight it, he was wrapping them around her, pulling her as close to him as possible.
She didn’t react at first, body tense and arms straight at her side, but then Joel did something he’d never done before. He kissed her head.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered against her hair, his lips falling against her temple once more.
For some reason every bit of fight left her body then, and she completely crumbled against his chest, arms looping around him and squeezing him as tight as she could.
“I’m so sorry kid.” She didn’t mean to cry, but a few tears escaped anyway, and she just wiped her face on his shirt, relishing in the utter warmth it brought.
“I’m sorry that I ever made you feel like you were anything less then my kid.” He rubbed her back as he spoke, voice so gentle she swore it wasn’t really him talking. “And I would never ever hit you. No matter what you do, how bad it is, we keep our hands to ourselves. Do you understand?”
“Yes.” She whispered.
After that day, he saw the incident as cause to treat her like actual glass. His hands were so light everytime he touched her, cradling her against him like she was this precious thing. It was so confusing.
It would be different if she didn’t care, it wouldn’t bother her so much, but it hurt worse when she started craving it, and it became almost a problem when her body felt as if it was failing just because he didn’t kiss her head bye.
There was one day where he was leaving for an early patrol, and of course, he was late. And instead of the regular forehead kiss and Joel hug, he just yelled out his goodbye and ran out the door, promising he’d be back before dinner.
She hated that day. Every hour that passed all she could think about was how she wanted Joel. She didn’t eat lunch and barely touched her dinner.
Joel stared at her the whole time, trying to gently encourage to take a few bites, but it was like a switch flipped. Sure Joel was here but she hadn’t felt him, so why would she want to do anything at all?
“Ellie?” He gently toed her with his boot, eyes all soft and easy. “You gotta eat something baby.”
She just shrugged her shoulders, pushing some more food around with her fork. “I’m not hungry.”
“Not even for cheesy potatoes?” He said lightheartedly, putting his fork on her plate. And despite her mood, she couldn’t help but smile.
Cheesy potatoes were in fact her favorite, but the catch was, she never put them on her own plate. Instead, she let Joel get them in bulk and then she’d steal whatever she wanted from the pile, knowing he’d finish the rest. He always teased her about it, telling her to get her own food, but she saw the smile and the little shakes of his head that came with it, indicating he was in fact amused.
But tonight she hadn’t even looked at him or touched his plate for that matter, she opted instead to stare at her own food and dwell on why she felt so weird. It was a feeling she assumed that not even cheesy potatoes could fix.
“No.” She sighed, putting down her fork altogether.
Joel looked absolutely flabbergasted at that. “You’re not eating cheesy potatoes? The world must be ending. You feelin okay?”
She shrugged for probably the millionth time today. “Yup, just not hungry.”
He gave her a hesitant look, stopping his movements as well. “Hey, you sure?”
Fuck, why did he have to be so nice about it? So fucking gentle?
“Mmhm.” She mumbled, running her sleeve across her face to catch those stupid tears she hadn’t even meant to cry.
“Ellie.”
“No it’s good, I’m good.” She gave him what was probably the least assuring smile ever, and picked her fork back up to push some more food across her plate.
Joel didn’t like that, and so he stopped eating altogether. “Why don’t we just go home?”
She knew it wasn’t a question, and yet she still argued. “No it’s fine Joel, just finish your food, you’re hungry.”
“Mm, not really.”
“Jo-”
“I think I’ve had enough cheesy potatoes to fill both of us for a week, let’s go home.” Though this statement was said with love, she heard the demand in it. It was time to go home.
“Okay.” She said quietly, slipping on her jacket and racing out the door.
More tears threatened to spill over as she raced to the house, feeling Joel’s stare as he walked behind her. She didn’t understand why he couldn’t just fucking let things go. They didn’t need to talk about everything, which of course was what he was gonna do, but things would all be so much easier if he would just fight with her. If they would yell and scream, hell, sometimes she’d prefer him to just dig a hole and throw her in it. For some reason she felt it would hurt less then actually telling him what was the matter.
It would also be less embarrassing.
She swears she’s in the clear when she pushes the door open, already forming a plan to get him off her back, but she’s barely even inside for a minute before he’s right behind her, telling her to stop.
“Ellie.” That’s all it takes, one single word and she’s turning around, feet glued to the ground.
“I’m going to bed.” It’s defiant, an opening to an argument, but it’s easier then admitting what she really wants.
“No ma’am you’re not, sit down.” He points to the couch, slipping his coat off and tossing it on the rack.
Every muscle, every bone in her body says to keep walking away, to start a fight. But her mind won’t let her. She must stand there for what feels like forever debating whether or not it’s worth it, but when Joel looks at her, eyes still soft besides the gruff sound to his voice, she caves immediately. With a groan she begins stomping over to the couch, hearing Joel mumble something about dinosaur feet on his way to her.
Any other day she’d laugh, come back with some stupid statement about how he’s older then a dinosaur, but all she can think about now is the way he gently placed his hand on her shoulder when he walked by, how the place where it was is warm and tingly. How she feels like there’s a piece missing from her just because it’s gone.
“You gonna tell me what the hell is goin on or am I gonna have to beat it out of ya?” He says it with a smile, a ploy to get her to laugh. She doesn’t.
“Nothings wrong.”
“That’s not what I said.” He replies, hands clasped in front of him as he leans forward. “Talk to me kiddo.” He just stares then, waits for her to speak, to yell, anything. But she feels stuck, like she’s walking through quicksand, going so far down she can’t breathe, can’t see anything other then her own fear.
“Ellie hey,” He grabs her hand, running his thumb over her knuckles. She cracks a little more, eyes growing misty as she feels his callouses touch her newly soft skin. Why is this so hard?
“Look at me honey.” He crouches down, hands on her knees. There’s warmth everywhere on her body now, reaching from the tips of her toes all the way up to the top of her head, and yet somehow she’s still so fucking frozen in place.
“I can’t” She croaks out, a little sob shaking her upper body.
This obviously scares him, she feels it in the way his jaws ticks a bit, his hands tightening their grip on her own. “Ellie I promise you, whatever it is, no matter how bad it is, you can.”
She fights for a little while longer, Joel’s thumbs keeping her grounded as they brush along the skin of her hands and every now and then her knees.
How does she explain this? Where should she even start? Hey Joel, I feel like a fucking mess whenever you don’t hold me all the time because I’m a little baby with absolutely no self-worth and can’t function unless you kiss my head goodbye.
That wouldn’t do. No matter how much it was true, it wouldn’t do.
The frustrations of not being able to voice it made her chest feel even tighter, her fingers instinctively curling around Joel’s as she fought to breathe.
“I can’t.” She says again, eyes closing shut.
She hears him sigh before he readjusts to sit on his butt, hands never moving from hers. “Try.”
“I-”
“Ellie try.”
She inhales deeply, still struggling to find her own footing. It’s like a war inside her brain. Tell him, don’t tell him, back and forth nonstop. The only thing that seems to quiet it is when he lifts her hands to his lips, kissing her knuckles and massaging her tense hands. “Try.” He whispers again, in what she reads as a plea.
But how?
“You know,” The words come before she can even understand what’s happening, and she starts to stop, but he whispers it again and so she keeps going. “You know in the mornings when you like, when you hug me bye or like,” She sighs, still struggling. “I don’t know, when you kiss my head and stuff.”
She thinks she sees recognition flood his face and for a moment can breathe. “Oh Ellie, if you don’t like that just….” Everything goes quiet and her ears start ringing. Just kidding, he doesn’t get it.
“No.” She says quickly, “no please it’s not that.”Confusion now, and she feels even worse. “It’s, I like it when you do that.”
“Ellie I’m not understandin. I’m sorry.” She inhales again, trying not to cry. It’s not his fault he can’t read her mind and it’s not his fault she doesn’t know how to speak it.
“Promise you won’t make fun of me? No matter how crazy.”
“I promise.” He says it with no hesitation, without even blinking. She thinks that’s a good sign.
She takes a deep breath. “I don’t like it when you don’t do that. Like this morning when you left without a hug and you didn’t do anything like at all I thought I was gonna explode the rest of the day.” She’s quiet for a moment. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me?”
Joel gives her a little smile, cupping her cheek. “Baby there’s nothing wrong with you.”
“Yes there is.” She says frantically, pulling everything away from him. “I’m almost fifteen, I should-I should be able to function by myself. I should be able to go to sleep without you around, I should be able to have a normal fucking day at school without needing your hugs. But I can’t do it.”
He opens his mouth to reply, eyes going even softer as he watches all of her frustrations fall into his hands. “Ellie.”
“No there’s-there’s something wrong with me, I know it. I’m like a baby and I shouldn’t-”
“Hey now,” He says, grunting as he moves next to her on the couch. “Don’t talk like that, you’re not a baby and there’s nothing wrong with you.”
“Yes there is.”
“Ellie listen to me.” He guides her eyes to meet his, rubbing his thumb along her cheek. “You’ve gone your whole life without anybody to hold your hand. Nobody to say it was okay when you were scared, nobody to take care of you when you’re sick. And your goddamn tough for that.”
She smiles a bit at that and he takes it as a window to keep going.
“But you’re still a kid, and kids need affection. It’s normal, hell,” He laughs, “Sarah still cuddled the same damn way you do. So it’s okay.” Ellie sniffles, nodding her head at his words. “And really the only difference between that babygirl and this one is that you have a shit ton of catching up to do. But it’s okay.” He repeats it, needing her to get it through her thick head. “You hearin me?”
He leans their foreheads together, his lips gently kissing her temple and she just closes her eyes, reveling in the feeling of his utter presence “Yeah.” She thinks she does.
“Good, now no more theatrics.” He says jokingly, pulling her to his chest. “Okay?”
“Okay.” She laughs, nuzzling into his side.
It’s still not easy really.
It takes her weeks to finally walk up to him and just wrap her arms around him in a hug, but she does it, and a little bit of the weight loosens when he rubs his hand over head.
He takes the whole thing like champ, tries to make it easier for her to come to him. She doesn’t understand what he does differently or if he even changes anything, but everything else seems to just fall into place on its own until eventually it becomes normal for her to randomly walk up to him and fall against his chest. No matter where they are or who they’re with she learns that it’s okay, cause he’s gonna pull her in close and keep her shielded from everything and everyone, every single time.
And now, instead of feeling likes she’s walking through quicksand, it’s like she’s standing in a field of flowers. Easy, safe, and most importantly, home.

i really can’t emphasise enough how wonderful it is to receive a comment on a fic
even if it’s a simple ‘wow this was great’ or ‘good job!’, i light up
it’s really encouraging to see that what came out of my brain translated well and was received by someone who also enjoys the thing i wrote something about
keep leaving comments on fics, you’ve no idea what kind of impact you could make on someone esp if they’re struggling with the motivation to keep writing
#before this year i hadn’t written anything in four years#and now i have 12 completed fics to my name#and i want to write more bc of the wonderful things people say about my work !!!!!!#yes watching the hit numbers rise and kudos numbers climb is exciting#but incomparable is the feeling of getting the notification that someone took time out of their day to let me know they appreciated my fic#it’s something really truly special#if you’ve ever left a comment on a fic. you are the real mvp#fic writers love seeing your thoughts on what we’ve made#we gush about it to our friends and fellow writers#we appreciate you and we thank you#fanfiction#fanfic#fic writer#ao3#archive of our own#my post

side effects may include: marriage, blushing, and one shirtless husband. | zayne
synopsis : You never planned on getting married straight out of college—especially not to a broody, absurdly attractive cardiac surgeon with the emotional range of a paperweight. But one wine-infused chocolate, a half-unbuttoned shirt, and an accidental kiss later, you’re rethinking everything.
content : arranged marriage!au, pure fluff, comedy, writer on crack
The letter in your hand crumples with the weight of betrayal as you wave it in front of your mother’s face like a white flag soaked in passive-aggression. “What is this?”
She barely glances up from her tea. “Your marriage agreement,” she says, taking a sip as if she hadn’t just casually handed your freedom over like a lunchbox.
“Why didn’t I know about this?!” you exclaim, arms flailing like you’re directing traffic in a thunderstorm.
“Because you wouldn’t have agreed,” she replies smoothly, as if this were the most obvious thing in the world.
Which, apparently, to her, it is.
“Mom, I literally just graduated,” you groan, dragging your hands down your face.
She raises a perfectly plucked brow. “I married your father before I even finished.”
You let out another groan, louder this time, before collapsing face-first onto the designer couch like a Victorian heroine with a Wi-Fi addiction.
It probably doesn’t help that your family owns one of the biggest tech companies in the country.
Wealthy, yes.
Emotionally prepared for an arranged marriage? Absolutely not.
“I don’t even know the guy!” you practically shout, sounding one emotional notch away from launching yourself into a soap opera.
“I do,” your mother says, flipping open her book like this conversation is just background noise. “He’s a very charming young man.”
You grab the nearest pillow and dramatically smother yourself with it. “I’m not doing it,” you declare, voice muffled and full of angst.
“It’s already been decided.”
You fling the pillow aside like it personally betrayed you. “No!”
Somewhere in the distance, a rich person’s violinist probably sighed in sympathy.
“You can’t make me do this!” you cry, pointing an accusatory finger at her like you’re about to cast a spell of teenage rebellion.
“You will move into the new house in a week. Pack your things,” she replies, turning the page of her book without even looking at you, as if she’s ordering takeout instead of destroying your life.
You gape at her. “I’m not going to prison, Mom. I’m just trying to live my mediocre post-grad life in peace!”
She sips her tea. “And now you’ll do it as a married woman. Congratulations.”
You consider packing alright—packing your bags and running to a country where arranged marriages are considered ancient history.
Except, here you were—one week, three tantrums, and a very dramatic attempt to fake your own death later—standing in front of your husband.
Tall. Towering. Probably sculpted by ancient gods who had nothing better to do.
In your new marital home.
You blink up at him, still hoping this was an elaborate prank and Ashton Kutcher was going to leap out from behind a curtain with a camera crew.
No such luck.
Your new husband just stood there, looking like he stepped out of a magazine and into your worst-case scenario.
“I’m Zayne,” he says calmly, like you’re meeting at a networking event and not at the start of your forced domestic partnership.
You stare. Tall, brooding, buttoned-up like he’s allergic to joy.
Of course his name is Zayne—the kind of name that comes with a tragic backstory and an impressive skincare routine.
A shudder runs through you.
You’re married to that?
Somewhere in the background, the universe probably gave you a thumbs-up and whispered, “Good luck, sweetheart.”
You gulp, trying to summon the dignity your pajama-clad soul clearly lacks. “I’m Y/N.”
He nods. Nods. No handshake, no smile, no “Nice to meet you, fellow victim of our parents’ power trip.”
And then—he just turns and walks away.
Walks. Away.
You’re left standing there, blinking like a Wi-Fi signal trying to reconnect.
Married. To a man who treats introductions like optional software updates.
—•
“This is what Mom called charming?” you grumble, side-eyeing the empty hallway like it personally offended you.
You replay the interaction in your head—“I’m Zayne”—and resist the urge to punch a pillow just to feel something.
Naturally, you do what any responsible adult in a forced marriage would do.
You begin a full-scale reconnaissance mission.
Operation? Figure Out Who the Heck I Married.
You start with the basics—tracking his schedule, observing his comings and goings like an underpaid spy in a bad rom-com.
The man has the consistency of a German train schedule, the emotional availability of a stone wall, and the mystery level of a locked diary in a teenager’s room.
You have no idea what he does for work. He leaves in crisp suits and comes home even more pressed. He talks to no one. He reads thick books with no covers. You’ve yet to catch him watching a single cat video.
So, naturally, you conclude he must be a rich heir. Or a prince. Or some exiled monarch trying to lay low until his kingdom is restored.
It helps that he’s unfairly attractive—black hair that falls just right, piercing eyes that could probably see through walls, and a jawline that could cut glass.
Yep. Definitely a prince.
A very emotionally constipated, tragically handsome prince.
“I know you’re there,” he says, voice smooth and unbothered—of course he does, because apparently your espionage skills rank somewhere between amateur squirrel and nosy neighbor.
He doesn’t even look up from his book at first. Just turns a page calmly, as if catching his new wife spying on him is an everyday occurrence.
Then, slowly, he tilts his head and meets your eyes.
Oh no.
That look is lethal—cool, unreadable, and annoyingly attractive. He sets the book down with a soft thud and takes off his glasses like he’s about to lecture you, interrogate you, or casually ruin your life with a single sentence.
“Come in,” he says, and somehow it sounds less like an invitation and more like a challenge.
You briefly consider fleeing the country.
But your legs move anyway.
You let out an awkward laugh, the kind that sounds more like a hiccup caught mid-lie. “I was just… trying to see what you do.”
Zayne arches a brow, amused. “And lurking behind walls was the most effective method?”
You shrug, stepping inside, the door clicking softly shut behind you. “I considered asking. But you don’t exactly give off ‘share your feelings over coffee’ vibes.”
He leans back slightly in his chair, arms folding as he studies you—like you’re a puzzle he didn’t ask for but now cant resist solving. “And what have you learned from your mission?”
“That you read a lot of intimidating books and might secretly be a prince,” you mutter, eyeing the hardcover he’d set down. “Or an assassin with excellent taste in eyewear.”
That earns you the ghost of a smile. Barely there—but it softens something in his expression.
“You’re not entirely wrong,” he says, and somehow, that doesn’t help.
You step closer, cautiously. “So… what do you do?”
Zayne tilts his head slightly. “Why? Interested now?”
“Trying to decide if I should be impressed… or mildly concerned for my safety.”
He chuckles under his breath—quiet and low, like he’s not used to laughing, but might want to try. “Maybe both.”
And for a moment, just a flicker, the air between you shifts. Less awkward, more curious. Like two strangers on the edge of something not quite comfortable, but not cold either.
“Well,” you say, fiddling with a stray thread on your sleeve, “I figured if I’m going to be married to a mystery man, I should at least get to know the mystery.”
Zayne watches you for a beat longer, then gestures to the seat across from him.
“Then stay,” he says. “Ask your questions properly this time.”
And you do.
You sit down across from him, suddenly hyper-aware of how your knees almost brush beneath the table.
His gaze is steady—too steady—and you gulp like you’ve just asked for his hand in courtship instead of mild information.
“So… what do you do?” you ask, trying to sound casual. It comes out more like a nervous frog asking a favor.
Zayne doesn’t answer right away. He leans back slightly, arms still folded, one brow lifting like he’s debating how much to reveal—or maybe just how much fun he’ll have watching you squirm.
“I’m a cardiac surgeon,” he finally says, voice low and even.
You blink.
“I—what?”
“I operate on hearts,” he says, like he’s talking about changing a lightbulb.
You stare at him. This whole time you thought he was brooding over world domination or writing dark poetry about rain. Heart surgeon was not on your bingo card.
“Wait, seriously? Like… actual hearts? With… scalpels?”
He tilts his head, clearly amused. “Is there another kind?”
Your jaw drops slightly. “Wow. I was prepared for ‘billionaire with a tragic past,’ not Grey’s Anatomy.”
“I assure you, there’s still a tragic past,” he deadpans, and for a second you’re not sure if he’s joking.
He doesn’t elaborate—but something in his eyes flickers. Quiet. Guarded.
You lean back, blinking slowly. “Okay… that’s kind of hot.”
That gets him. His lips twitch, just a little. “Are you flirting with your husband?”
You pretend to examine the ceiling. “I’m just saying, it makes the whole mysterious-silent-guy thing slightly more tolerable.”
He lets out a soft laugh—barely audible, but it’s real.
And suddenly, sitting across from him doesn’t feel so heavy.
He stands up suddenly, the chair sliding back with a soft scrape against the floor. You jolt slightly, halfway through processing his laugh, and blink up at him.
His expression has shifted—still calm, but there’s something else now. A hint of gravity in the way he looks at you.
“I’m sorry,” he says quietly, catching you off guard. “For the suddenness of all this.”
You sit up straighter, unsure what to say. It’s the first time he’s acknowledged the whole arranged-marriage-against-your-will situation out loud.
Before you can respond, he steps closer, extending a hand—not forceful, just open. “Let me show you why.”
Your heart skips. “Why what?”
“Why our parents thought this could work,” he says, and for the first time, there’s no teasing in his tone—just sincerity. Gentle, but certain.
You stare at his hand. His fingers are long, precise. A surgeon’s hands. Hands that fix hearts.
And here he was, offering them to you.
So, slowly, hesitantly, you place your hand in his.
And just like that, something shifts again. Less awkward. A little warmer. A little more real.
He guides you out to his car—a sleek, polished thing that looks like it probably knows more about taxes than you do. He opens the passenger door for you, which is either chivalrous or unsettling, you’re not sure yet.
You slide in, still trying to wrap your head around this whole situation, when he leans in unexpectedly close—and reaches across you.
Your breath catches.
Then—click—he fastens your seatbelt.
You blink at him, flustered. Not because it was romantic. It wasn’t. It was clinical. Efficient. Like buckling you in was a task on his daily checklist.
Still, your brain short-circuits a little.
“Thanks,” you mumble, confused by how something so unromantic could still make your stomach flutter.
He simply shuts the door and rounds the front of the car, settling into the driver’s seat like he’s done it a hundred times.
You glance over. “So… where are we going?”
He shifts the gear with practiced ease, eyes on the road. “To see my parents.”
You freeze. “Now?”
“Yes.”
“As in—meeting the in-laws now?”
Zayne glances at you, completely calm. “You’re my wife. It’s only natural.”
You groan quietly into your palms. “This day just keeps getting better and better.”
At your dramatic groan, Zayne gives the faintest hint of a smile—so subtle you almost miss it. Just the smallest twitch at the corner of his lips, like your misery is a quiet source of amusement to him.
You narrow your eyes. “Was that a smile?”
“I don’t recall,” he says, cool as ever.
You huff and turn your gaze out the window, resigned to what you assume will be an awkward, overly formal afternoon in a mansion filled with judgmental in-laws and porcelain teacups.
But twenty minutes later, when the car slows to a stop, your sarcasm dies in your throat.
Because this isn’t a mansion.
It’s a cemetery.
Your eyes flick to him, your voice suddenly small. “Zayne…?”
He cuts the engine and unbuckles his seatbelt, his expression unreadable again.
“You said you wanted to know why,” he says, gently. “So I’m showing you.”
And just like that, your earlier words—your groaning, your dramatics, your little internal jokes—feel like they belong to someone else entirely.
Zayne steps out of the car without another word, and you follow, suddenly quiet, your footsteps softer on the gravel. The wind tugs at your sleeves as he leads you up a small hill, the world around you hushed, respectful.
The trees part at the crest, revealing an open clearing.
Two gravestones stand side by side, worn but well-kept, the grass around them neatly trimmed. Fresh flowers rest at their bases—white lilies, carefully arranged.
Your breath catches in your throat.
Zayne slows as he approaches, his hands in his coat pockets. He doesn’t say anything right away, just looks at them for a long moment. When he does speak, his voice is low, quieter than you’ve ever heard it.
“These are my parents.”
Your chest tightens.
You glance at him—his posture still straight, still composed, but there’s something softer now. Something heavy that doesn’t show in his face, but in the silence he carries around it.
“They passed away when I was in my first year of med school,” he says, eyes fixed on the stones. “I visit them every week. I always bring lilies—my mother liked them.”
You stand there beside him, uncertain at first, then quietly fold your arms, the weight of the moment settling on your shoulders.
“I didn’t know,” you murmur.
“I know,” he says, and for once, there’s no edge in his voice. Just truth.
And suddenly, you understand what he meant earlier. Why he said he wanted to show you. Why he apologized.
Because this marriage wasn’t just sudden—it was the first thing in a long time he hadn’t had to face alone.
“My parents made an agreement with yours,” Zayne says, his voice steady as he turns to face you.
There’s no accusation in his tone, no bitterness. Just quiet honesty.
“So in a way,” he continues, meeting your eyes, “we’re both stuck in this predicament. Not just you.”
The word predicament almost makes you laugh—because that’s exactly what it is. A polite, miserable mess you’ve both been handed like a family heirloom no one wanted.
But the way he says it… it’s not cold. It’s not detached.
It’s shared.
For the first time, you see the man behind the silence. Not just the polished stranger with perfect posture and unreadable expressions—but someone who lost his family, who carried grief with clinical grace, who walked into this marriage just as unprepared as you.
You lower your gaze, toeing the earth gently beneath your shoe. “Guess that makes us reluctant allies.”
“Something like that,” he murmurs.
Then, after a pause, he adds, “But I don’t intend to stay strangers with you forever. Not if we’re in this together.”
You feel something small and strange crack open in your chest.
Hope. Maybe. Or just the beginning of something real.
After the quiet moments of prayer—hands clasped, heads bowed, the wind weaving through the stillness—you and Zayne make your way back down the hill in silence. It’s not uncomfortable this time. Just… thoughtful. Like something unspoken has shifted between you.
The ride home is calm, the late afternoon sun casting soft light through the windshield. You glance over at him, watching the way his fingers rest lightly on the steering wheel, the way his profile is bathed in gold.
You hesitate, then ask, voice gentle, “How do you feel about this marriage?”
He doesn’t answer right away. The road stretches ahead, lined with trees and fading light, and you think maybe he won’t answer at all.
But then, a faint smile tugs at the corner of his lips—small, but unmistakable.
“I don’t mind it,” he says, not taking his eyes off the road. “Now that I’ve met you.”
You blink.
It’s not grand or poetic. It’s not a love confession or sweeping gesture. But something about the way he says it—so simple, so sure—makes your heart trip a little in your chest.
You turn back to the window, trying to hide the warmth creeping into your cheeks.
And for the first time, the silence between you feels like something full, not empty.
—•
When you reach home, Zayne unlocks the door with quiet efficiency and steps inside like he’s been doing it for years—even though technically, it’s your first week as reluctant roommates.
He shrugs off his coat and heads straight for the kitchen.
You trail behind him, curious. “What are you doing?”
“Making tea,” he says, already reaching for the kettle.
You arch a brow. “Seriously… did you go to husband-training-school or something?”
He glances at you over his shoulder, eyes just a touch amused. “Is that a thing?”
“It should be,” you say, hopping up onto a stool at the kitchen counter. “You open doors, buckle seatbelts, visit your parents’ graves with fresh flowers, and now you make tea? Either you’re weirdly good at this or you’ve been raised by a very intense etiquette instructor.”
Zayne smirks—an actual smirk this time, not the half-ghost of one. “My mother believed in manners. My father believed in precision.”
You nod sagely. “Ah, so you were raised by royalty.”
He sets two mugs on the counter, then adds, “And I believe in not poisoning my wife with bad tea on day seven of our arranged marriage.”
You lift your hands. “Low bar, but I appreciate it.”
He chuckles quietly as he pours the water, and you watch him, a strange sort of warmth settling in your chest.
Turns out, “reluctant husband” looks a lot like “softly competent tea-making mystery man” when no one’s looking.
You watch him as he carefully stirs the tea, trying to look casual, though there’s an edge to your curiosity. “So, have you got a girlfriend? Before all this…?”
The question hangs in the air, a little awkward, but you can’t help yourself. You’re still trying to figure out who he is outside of this whole marriage thing. You need to know what kind of life he led before it all changed.
Zayne doesn’t answer immediately, his movements slowing for just a moment as if he’s considering the question carefully. His eyes flick to you, then back to the steaming mugs.
“No,” he says after a beat, the word simple but loaded. “I didn’t. Too busy, I suppose.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Too busy for dating? I find that hard to believe.”
He lets out a quiet breath, placing the spoon down with the kind of deliberation that makes you think there’s more behind it. “It’s not that I didn’t have time. I was just… focused on other things.”
“Like saving lives?” you tease, leaning on the counter.
He glances at you, his eyes meeting yours for the briefest moment before he gives a small nod. “Exactly. I never made time for anything else.”
You hum thoughtfully, but there’s something in his voice that makes you stop. Focused on other things. You wonder if that was his way of avoiding other things. Or maybe he just never let anyone close enough.
You catch his gaze again, and this time, there’s a flicker—an unspoken something in the way he holds it. You can’t quite place it, but it’s enough to make your stomach tighten, just slightly.
“Well, now you’ve got me,” you say, trying to keep the tone light. “I guess that makes two of us.”
Zayne’s lips curl into the faintest smile. “Indeed.”
That night, you change into something nice—half-expecting a stiff, high-end restaurant with white tablecloths, six forks, and judgmental lighting.
But when Zayne pulls the car up to a quiet little corner bistro tucked between a flower shop and a bookstore, you blink in surprise.
It’s not fancy. No valet, no sparkling chandeliers, no menus written in French.
It’s… cozy.
Warm lights glow from inside, casting golden puddles on the sidewalk. Through the windows, you spot mismatched chairs, little potted plants on the tables, and the soft flicker of candlelight.
Someone’s playing gentle jazz on a guitar in the corner, and the air smells like garlic and fresh bread.
“This isn’t what I expected,” you murmur as he opens the car door for you.
He raises a brow. “Disappointed?”
You shake your head slowly. “No. Actually… I like it.”
He doesn’t smile, not really—but there’s a flicker in his eyes, like that’s exactly the answer he was hoping for.
Inside, you’re seated at a small table by the window. The waiter greets Zayne like he’s been here before, which surprises you even more. You hadn’t pegged him as the “quiet Italian bistro” type. More like “emotionally distant, espresso-fueled loner.”
But here he is. Ordering your meal with quiet confidence, asking if you want sparkling or still water like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
And somehow, it feels normal.
As you sip your wine and let the warmth of the room settle around you, you realize this whole evening—isn’t part of some obligation or checklist.
He brought you here because he wanted to.
And that realization sits quietly between you, more intimate than candlelight.
“What did you study?” Zayne asks, his tone casual but deliberate.
You pause, fingers tightening slightly around your water glass—not because the question itself is startling, but because he asked it. He, who rarely volunteers anything beyond necessity, is choosing to ask you something personal. Choosing to know you.
And that… that makes your chest feel oddly warm.
“Uhm,” you say, blinking out of your surprise. “I majored in Economics.”
He nods, his gaze steady. “I assume it’s to help your parents, then?”
You smile faintly, setting your glass down. “Yeah. I mean, I was never really pushed into it, but it felt like the logical thing to do. Legacy and all that.”
He hums, clearly understanding. “Pressure has a way of wearing itself like a choice.”
You glance at him, eyebrows raised. “That was poetic.”
He shrugs, unbothered. “It’s true.”
And you find yourself smiling—not the awkward, forced kind you used to wear around him, but a quiet, genuine one.
“Did you always want to be a surgeon?” you ask in return.
He considers for a moment, then says, “No. I wanted to be an architect when I was younger.”
You blink. “Seriously?”
“I liked building things,” he says, eyes flicking to you with a faint glimmer of amusement. “But life had other plans.”
And just like that, you realize you’re not dining with a stranger anymore.
You’re slowly, carefully, getting to know your husband.
You narrow your eyes at him, lips twitching as you lean back in your chair. “You wouldn’t have made a good architect,” you say, your tone teasing.
Zayne glances up from his plate, one brow arching in mock offense. “Oh? And why’s that?”
You shrug, swirling your water like it’s a wine glass. “Too serious. You’d probably design buildings with no windows. Just perfectly symmetrical, intimidating concrete blocks where joy goes to die.”
He huffs a quiet laugh, the corners of his mouth lifting. “I happen to like symmetry.”
“Exactly,” you grin. “You’d build dystopian fortresses and call them modern masterpieces.”
He leans forward slightly, voice lower, a touch playful. “And what would you build? Something inefficient with fairy lights and personality?”
You gasp, hand to your chest. “Yes. And they’d be beloved.”
Zayne smiles, really smiles this time—and for a second, you forget the marriage was arranged. Because god damn, he looks good when he smiles.
—•
Zayne drives you home after dinner, the quiet hum of the engine filling the space between you. The city lights blur softly past the windows, and you catch yourself smiling—again.
Not because of the food.
Not because of the warm, candlelit atmosphere.
But because he smiled at you.
Not a smirk, not a polite twitch of the lips—an actual, honest-to-goodness smile.
And it was for you.
You lean your head against the window, trying to play it cool, but your heart’s doing backflips like it’s auditioning for the Olympics.
Who knew one smile from a broody cardiac surgeon could make you feel like you were in a coming-of-age movie?
When he pulls up to the house and parks, he doesn’t rush out or unbuckle your seatbelt like earlier. He just sits for a moment, hands resting lightly on the steering wheel, glancing at you through the corner of his eye.
“Thank you,” you say softly, turning to him. “For dinner. And… for today.”
His eyes meet yours, steady. “You’re welcome.”
You linger a second longer than necessary, then reach for the door handle.
But before you can step out, he adds quietly, “I’m glad you came.”
Your breath catches, but you manage a soft smile.
“Me too.”
And as you walk up to the front door together, side by side, you realize something strange and terrifying and kind of wonderful:
You might actually be starting to like your husband.
—•
You’re halfway through your bedtime routine—hair tied up, comfy shirt on, emotionally bracing yourself for your nightly existential crisis—when you hear his voice from the living room.
“Y/N. Come sit with me.”
You freeze in the hallway like a startled cat.
Your brain short-circuits.
Come sit with me.
On the couch.
In the living room.
You peek around the corner, and there he is—Zayne, in his neatly rolled-up sleeves, glasses off, looking painfully relaxed and devastatingly unfair with one arm resting along the back of the couch like this is some indie romance movie and not your actual, real-life arranged marriage.
You fight the very real urge to scream.
Because—hello?? Attractive, emotionally reserved doctor asking you to sit beside him in dim lighting?
No. Absolutely not. Husband or not, this is a threat to your mental health and emotional stability.
Still, your feet move traitorously toward him.
You sit at the very edge of the couch, posture stiff, like you’re preparing to be interviewed, not casually sitting with your husband.
He glances at you, amused. “You look tense.”
“I am tense,” you mutter, clutching a throw pillow like it’s a life raft. “This feels like a trap.”
Zayne chuckles under his breath, clearly enjoying your slow descent into chaos. “You’re overthinking.”
“You’re underthinking. Have you seen yourself right now?”
He doesn’t answer—just reaches for the remote and switches on a movie.
And you sit there, slowly melting into the couch, wildly aware of how close he is, and wondering how on earth you’re supposed to survive a husband who smiles at you one moment and invites you to sit with him the next like it’s nothing.
It is very much something.
You shoot up from the couch like you’ve just remembered you left the stove on. “I’m gonna go… look for snacks,” you say, your voice a touch too high-pitched to be innocent.
Zayne turns his head slightly, probably about to say something—maybe to offer help or point out where the cookies are—but you don’t wait. You flee the room with the grace and urgency of someone definitely not running from their feelings.
Out of the corner of your eye, just before you disappear down the hallway, you swear you see it.
A smirk.
That little—
Nope. You’re not thinking about that. You are not spiraling over one stupid, stupid smirk.
You fling open the pantry door with more drama than necessary and scan the shelves like a raccoon on a mission. And then… there it is.
A not-so-suspicious box of chocolate. Sitting there. Unlabeled. Untouched. Almost like it was waiting for you.
Naturally, the logical thing to do is take it.
You snatch it like a gremlin, muttering to yourself, “If this is his secret stash, he shouldn’t have left it where I could find it.”
Because if you’re going to emotionally unravel over a handsome surgeon who asks you to sit with him, you might as well do it with sugar.
You shuffle back into the living room, trying not to look suspicious even though you’re literally holding the loot in both hands.
Zayne glances at the box, one brow lifting ever so slightly.
Without a word, you plop down next to him again—this time slightly closer, because apparently you’re a danger to yourself—and open the lid. You pick one out, hesitate, then hold it out to him.
He looks at it, then at you.
And takes it.
Just like that—without hesitation, without question—like it’s the most natural thing in the world for you to offer him something sweet and for him to accept it.
He pops it in his mouth, casual, like he didn’t just cause your heart to skip a full beat.
You stare at him. “You didn’t even ask what it was.”
He shrugs. “I trust your judgment.”
Great. Now you’re emotionally compromised and flustered.
You quickly shove a chocolate into your own mouth before you say something like “Why are you so attractive when you chew?”
This marriage is going to ruin you.
As the chocolate melts on your tongue, rich and smooth, you frown slightly. There’s something… extra about the flavor. A little too warm. A little too bold.
You squint at the box, lifting it closer to inspect the label. The fancy script mocks you as your eyes land on the fine print.
“Hey, these are infused with—”
You stop mid-sentence, turning to Zayne.
He’s flushed.
Not dramatically—but enough. His ears are a little pink, the tips of his cheeks tinged with color, and he suddenly seems very interested in the pattern on the coffee table.
Your eyes widen.
“Oh my god,” you breathe, holding up the box like a smoking gun. “They’re infused with wine.”
He clears his throat. “Just a little.”
“Zayne.”
“I forgot,” he mutters, and now he won’t meet your eyes.
You blink at him, then at the chocolate, then back at him.
And then you burst into laughter.
“Are you—are you buzzed from one piece of wine chocolate?”
He narrows his eyes at you, but there’s no real heat. “I’m not buzzed.”
“You’re flushed.”
“I run warm.”
You clutch your stomach, giggling. “Oh, this is so going in the mental scrapbook.”
He shakes his head, but you swear you see the corner of his mouth twitch.
And suddenly, the couch doesn’t feel so intimidating. The air between you is warm—not from the chocolate or the wine, but from the quiet, ridiculous comfort of two strangers slowly, awkwardly becoming something more.
But fate, in all its twisted sense of humor, decided to laugh directly in your face.
Because as it turns out, Zayne does not do well with alcohol.
At all.
One wine-infused chocolate later, and he’s leaning back into the couch, flushed like he’s been running laps, and visibly warmer—literally and metaphorically.
You glance over just in time to see him tug at the top button of his shirt.
Then the second.
Then the third.
Your brain short-circuits.
You grip the edge of the sofa like it’s the only thing anchoring you to reality. Do not scream. Do not make a sound. You are strong. You are composed. You are—
He exhales, fingers working at the last button near his collarbone, exposing smooth skin and that maddeningly perfect line of his throat.
“I feel… warm,” he murmurs, more to himself than to you.
You don’t respond. Because you can’t.
You’re too busy having an internal meltdown.
This is not a movie. This is real life.
Real life where your emotionally-reserved, wine-chocolate-flushed husband is currently undoing his shirt on your shared couch like he doesn’t know what it’s doing to your sanity.
You bite your tongue and stare straight ahead.
This marriage is a trap.
This couch is cursed.
And Zayne, evidently, is dangerous in more ways than one.
You try—truly try—to focus on the TV.
You fixate on the screen like it holds the meaning of life, repeating in your head. Not looking. Not thinking. Muscles aren’t real. Buttons are lies. Stay strong.
But then—
You feel it.
A hand around your wrist. Warm. Firm.
You barely have time to register it before you’re turned toward him—face-to-face with all of him.
Half-unbuttoned shirt. Lean muscles. Broad chest. Collarbone on full display like it paid rent to be there. His eyes, slightly glazed but locked onto yours with an intensity that could melt furniture.
Your breath hitches. “Z-Zayne!”
Your voice comes out embarrassingly high-pitched. Like a cartoon character caught in a romantic ambush.
His hand doesn’t let go.
Neither does his gaze.
“You’re really red,” he says, eyes narrowing slightly, as if you’re the one being strange in this situation.
“I’m red?!” you squeak, trying very hard not to look down. Or up. Or anywhere.
He leans just the tiniest bit closer, and his voice drops, slow and low. “Are you feeling warm too?”
You make a noise. Not a word. Just a sound. Because your brain has left the building and taken all coherent thought with it.
This couch is no longer a piece of furniture.
It’s a battlefield.
His grip on your wrist softens, but he doesn’t let go. His thumb brushes lightly—absently—against your skin as he stares at you like he’s trying to memorize your entire existence.
And then, with absolutely no warning, he slurs softly, “You’re really… pretty… you know that?”
Your soul momentarily evacuates your body.
You blink at him. “I—what?”
“You are,” he says, a little slower, a little sleepier, his words curling lazily like they’re wrapped in velvet. “Your face is nice. Your eyes do this… sparkle thing. Like the stars. But not, cliché stars. Like… classy stars.”
You open your mouth to reply, but absolutely nothing intelligent comes out.
Because here is your emotionally closed-off husband—tipsy from a single chocolate, shirt halfway undone, staring at you like you hung the moon and casually comparing your eyes to classy stars.
This has officially become too much.
You grab the throw pillow beside you and bury your face in it with a muffled, “Zayne, you’re drunk.”
He hums, leaning back slightly, satisfied like he’s just confessed something profound.
“I’m married to a pretty girl,” he mumbles, like it’s the best realization he’s had all day.
And you? You are one slurred compliment away from combusting.
You reach out without thinking, hand aiming straight for his cheek—half to ground yourself, half because you want to see if he’s real and not just a hallucination brought on by wine chocolate and emotional confusion.
But before your fingers make contact, he catches your wrist again.
Gently. Firmly.
And then—he tugs.
You let out a surprised gasp as you stumble forward, barely catching yourself with your free hand against his chest. He’s solid. Warm. Way too warm.
Your heart skips, then trips, then sprints like it’s running late for something.
You barely have time to react before he looks up at you—eyes soft, dazed, and entirely sincere—and asks:
“Can I kiss you?”
It’s not breathy or desperate. Not bold or teasing.
He says it like a gentleman asking for a dance. Like he’s asking your permission to step into something delicate. Something real.
Your breath catches. The world stills. The TV hums in the background, forgotten.
You’re close enough to see the way his lashes rest against flushed skin, close enough to feel his breath brush against your lips.
And now, you have a choice to make.
Because despite the chaos, the circumstance, the wine-infused madness of it all—Zayne just asked you so politely to kiss you.
And god help you…
You kind of want him to.
You open your mouth to reply—maybe to say yes, maybe to question your sanity—but the words never make it out.
Because his lips are already on yours.
Gentle. Soft. Careful, like he’s still half-expecting you to pull away. Like he knows he’s toeing a fragile line and doesn’t want to break it.
Your eyes flutter shut as instinct takes over, and the world tilts slightly.
You can barely taste the chocolate on his lips, a hint of sweetness tangled with something warmer, something that makes your heart thrum unevenly in your chest.
Your mind goes fuzzy. Not from the kiss itself, but from the feeling that comes with it—the quiet kind. The kind that settles in your chest like a secret you hadn’t realized you were keeping.
He doesn’t rush it.
His hand stays on your wrist, thumb brushing softly along your skin, as if even now he’s asking—Is this okay? Are you sure?
And you are.
Somewhere between wine-infused chocolates, teasing banter, and the way he said Can I kiss you? like it meant everything—you became sure.
And so you kiss him back.
Somehow—somehow—you’re still suspended there, caught in that precarious space between balance and disaster, one hand on his chest, the other still held by his.
And then his hands slide to your waist.
Slow. Sure. Steady.
He holds you like he’s anchoring you—like if he let go, you might float away.
And that’s when the kiss deepens.
No more polite hesitation, no more softness at the edges. It’s still gentle, yes—but there’s more now. More pressure. More heat. More intention.
Your fingers curl against his shirt, and it takes every last ounce of self-control not to start undoing the buttons he didn’t already conquer earlier. Because God, you can feel the strength in him—lean muscle under your palm, warmth radiating like it was meant for you, and he’s kissing you like he’s waited a long time to do it.
You gasp softly against his mouth, and he swallows the sound like a secret.
Your mind is a whirlwind. Logic? Gone. Restraint? Dangling by a thread.
You are this close to losing all common sense and just undressing him right here on the couch like your sanity isn’t hanging on by a single, wine-infused thread.
But then he pulls back, just slightly, his forehead resting against yours, breath warm and uneven.
And he whispers, barely audible, “You taste sweet.”
You’re going to combust.
This man is going to ruin you.
The world blurs at the edges, warm and hazy like honeyed sunlight through half-closed curtains. His breath still ghosts against your lips, his hands still resting on your waist like they belong there, like you belong there.
You feel weightless. Drunk, not on wine or chocolate, but on him—the warmth of his skin, the way he kissed you like it was something sacred, the way he looked at you like you were something more than a stranger handed to him by fate.
Everything is soft. Glowing. Surreal.
Too perfect.
And then—
Blink.
The warmth fades. The light shifts.
You’re no longer on the couch.
You’re standing, stiff, in a room full of flowers and polished silence, your fingers cold at your sides.
Zayne stands across from you, buttoned-up, composed, unreadable. No wine in his system. No flushed cheeks. No trace of that kiss.
Just a man you’ve never met.
And the moment of your arranged introduction.
Your breath catches, and for a second, you don’t know what’s real.
But you do know one thing.
Whatever just happened—dream, vision, or cruel trick of the mind—it’s already begun.

This might have already been said but:
As much I'm loving all of The Pitt fanfiction, I've noticed a lot of people don't seem to understand how the med school and residency system works and it's annoying me. The basic order goes med student->resident->fellow->attending.
If you are a med student, you do not yet have your licence to practice medicine and have not matched to your specialty. If you are working, then you are completing a rotation, which is usually 4-12 weeks, depending on the specialty. Other healthcare disciplines (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, etc) refer to these as work placements. You do not get paid for these placements; actually, you pay to complete these placements. Whittaker and Javadi are med students.
At the end of your fourth year, in the States, you would write the United States Medical Licensing Examination(USMLE). In Canada, you write the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE). The USMLE is completed in three steps. Steps one and two are typically written when you are a med student; step three is written at the end of your first year of residency. Provided you pass steps one and two, you are now a resident. Residents are doctors. Residency is a three to seven year training period in a specialty, e.g., emergency medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, etc. You are matched into your specialty. Matching is, to my understanding, just the most complicated job hiring system in the world. The most important bit to know from a writers perspective is that there is a really good chance that a resident does not have a say in their specialty. A person preparing for residency will go on interviews and rank their preferred specialties and workplaces (meaning the hospital they complete their residency at), and then the hospitals and the departments decide to accept them or not. If you do not get matched, you can go through a process called SOAP, which places you with positions that did not get filled. The only way to change your specialty is to re-start the residency process from scratch. Santos is a first year resident, meaning she would have only passed the steps one and two of the USMLE that spring. This means she is most likely matched into emergency medicine. Although I learned recently that some surgery residencies have their residents complete a year of emergency medicine before starting in the OR. My personal headcanon is that Santos was soaped into emergency medicine, and that is why she was like that in the beginning. Mel and McKay are second year residents, which means they have been working as doctors for at least a year and already have emergency medicine as their specialty. They most likely would have completed all three steps to the USMLE It is mentioned in the first episode that Mel did her first year at a VA hospital which is apparently a common thing to do in the states. Mohan is a third year resident. I think this makes Robbie's comments to Mohan about switching to psychiatry really mean cause he's basically telling her to consider re-starting her residency when she's more than halfway finished. Collins, Langdon, and Garcia are fourth year or senior residents. Emergency medicine has a four year residency, so this means that they are almost done with their residencies. Surgery can have a five year or longer residency, so Garcia might still be a resident in the next season. Due to Langdon having to take most of the year away from work, he will have to re-start his fourth year.
After your residency is completed, you have the option to complete a fellowship. Not all specialties require a fellowship. These are take anywhere from 1 to 3 years. Emergency medicine does not require the completion of a fellowship, although there are a lot of options available. These are basically highly specialized training on topics in your specialty. For example, John Hopkins offers a fellowship in combat medicine for those specializing in emergency medicine.
After all of that: congratulations, you are now a doctor in attending aka an attending doctor. This means no more exams, just a re-licencing test every 5 years. You can take on residents and med students of your own to supervise, or not. No one is going to make you. You can also easily move now as you do not have to stay with the hospital you matched to for your residency. Getting a job goes back to the much more normal and not as stressful process of a job instead of the hellscape that is the residency matching program. Robbie, Abbot, Shen, Parker, and Walsh are attendings.
(Edit: Parker is a senior resident. I think I saw Parker's energy and assumed she was already an attending)

Kiss it Better | Spencer Reid
Pairing: Spencer Reid x gn!reader Category: FLUFF Summary: You trip and bruise your knees, but Spencer is there to kiss everything better Content: 1k words, established relationship, Crime and Punishment spoilers??? fluff galore A/N: INCREDIBLY self indulgent—this is a real life story, except I didn't have a Spencer Reid to help me out. My knees are still bruised. It hurts to walk. Dedicated to @darkmatilda because she's a fellow Rodya girlie and she said something that made me laugh so I put it in the fic. Cute lil fluff before I go MIA <3
“It's your fault.”
“Mine? How on earth are your bruised knees my fault?”
“I was reading your book when I tripped.”
He laughs, cradling your legs on his lap as he holds the ice packs to your aching knees, “Sounds like you shouldn't have been reading while walking then, angel.”
“But it was beginning to get interesting!”
“Then it's Dostoevsky's fault for writing something so intriguing.”
“Don't pin this on that dead man, Spencer,” you narrow your eyes, attempting to glare, but it all comes across adorable. You squirm a little, as if that would help with your accusations and make him take you seriously, “You gave me the book.”
“Not with the intention to hurt you!” He's smiling as he holds your legs and stills your movements. Ever patient. Ever warm. You’d melt if you weren’t in so much pain right now and lavish him with kisses. Thank you, you’d murmur. Unfortunately, your tumble has put you in a petty mood. But that’s okay, he knows how to handle that too.
“Are you sure? Because you know it would have hurt me one way or another,” you pout, crossing your arms over your chest, “Not physically like this, but I've heard you talk about it like it’s the height of literature so I know it would be—”
“I’m of the opinion that it is the height of literature, angel.”
“— it would be—” you press on, shooting an annoyed look his way, “—an emotional rollercoaster. It would have hurt my feelings. Just wasn't expecting it to give me bruised knees and a twisted ankle on top of the emotional damage.”
He has to hand it to you sometimes, you can be so dedicated to your petulance around him. Only around him. With everyone else, you’re so dependable and calm, but those walls collapse around his company, sweetening into something so charmingly vulnerable, so he nurtures the petulant pouting all the same. Coaxes it from the cracks of your typically put together demeanor with his own teasing words.
“Yeah, that was quite a fall,” he grins, softly, to cushion the playful sharpness of your complaints, “You almost became Rodya's third victim, huh?”
“Are you joking?” you wave at the ice packs balanced on your knees, sputtering in indignation, “I’m going to be immobile for the rest of the day and you're joking?”
“Indeed I am. It is well known that humor, more than anything else in the human make-up, can afford an aloofness and an ability to rise above any situation, even if only for a few seconds.”
Your jaw drops, “I can't believe you're quoting Frankl at me. I'm sitting in excruciating pain, and you're making a joke and giving me a lecture. Low blow, baby, even for you.”
“I know, I know, angel, I'm sorry.” he murmurs, soothing over the wrinkles he’d deliberately caused. Grinning because he loves this. Loves you. Oh, he loves you so much, “No more European writers. I'll get you all the ice cream and chocolate you need, and then we'll stay inside all day to cuddle, how's that sound?”
“But I want to know what happens to Raskolnikov.”
He laughs, “All right, then I'll throw in a couple of chapters of Crime and Punishment.”
“While we cuddle?”
“Mhm.”
“You'll read for me?” the loveliest eyes peek up at him from beneath fluttering lashes. You know you don’t need to do that, he wouldn’t say no to you, but it’s part of the fun.
“Yes, angel.” He'll read for you anytime, helping you feel better is just an extra incentive. “Chocolates and cuddles and a good book.”
“That's it? Aren't you forgetting something? What happened to that eidetic memory?”
He frowns, wondering what else it is he forgot in his arsenal of things to help you feel better. He wonders if this is just banter, worries that he did actually forget something important.
“You have to kiss them better, genius.”
Ah. Both. How could he be so foolish? His face breaks into a smile. Without breaking eye contact, he sets aside the ice packs, and bends your legs up at an angle so he could have an easier time reaching it. Careful, always so careful but especially now from your bruises. Beneath all teasing, he knows you’re in genuine pain.
Slowly, achingly sweet, he brushes his lips over the bruised knee, the barest caress, warm lips against chilled skin. You suppress a shudder. He moves his lips up to your thigh delicately, teasingly. It's gone before the gasp leaves your lips, though that one brief second sends goosebumps crawling up your skin.
He moves to your other knee, touching his lips to the rapidly blooming purples on your skin, before finally pulling away.
“Better?”
“Much,” you nod, scooting over the couch to get closer to him. His body adjusts around yours in the cramped space, joints and angles poking into your soft, curling limbs. Tangled mess, but you love it all the same. You find yourself somehow nestled between his thighs, your head tucked beneath his chin. He holds the book with one hand, while the other is cupped at your knee, balancing the ice pack and drawing mindless circles over your skin.
“What chapter shall I read?”
“Part one, chapter six. But Spence?”
“Yes, angel?”
“You owe me more kisses.”
Not that you need to ask, but okay. His lips land on your temple automatically, “Always a pleasure.” he mumbles, breathing in the familiar, soothing scent of your hair, “But may I know why?”
“You said I’d be Rodya's third victim,” you reply, remembering the details of the book and what he’d said earlier, “He was only planning to kill that old lady so… he kills more?”
There’s a pause, before he laughs, “That's a spoiler.”
“Book's been out for centuries,” you roll your eyes, “And yes, that's a spoiler, but one that you unintentionally gave me!”
“I'm sorry,” he laughs, putting down the book to cup your chin. Turning your face to him, he regards you with large brown eyes that seem to dance with love, “I guess you're right, I do owe you more kisses.” he says, before finally kissing your lips.

we need to talk about The Silence and The Song
[PLEASE READ] edit to add: i realise that this post has been reblogged far and wide and that there is not a lot i can do about it now, but this is me trying anyway.
posting examples from the fic about my issues with its repetitive structure was careless of me, and i apologise to those of you who read it and became insecure about your own writing style. as someone who has worked with ai in academic settings, it's incredibly difficult for me to explain to you how the tone and structure of ai-generated fiction works and how, after reading enough of it, you can simply just tell. i do also realise that this is an incredibly weak argument, which is why i didn't include it when i originally wrote this post.
all that to say: there is an enormous difference between "beginner's writing" and ai writing. being repetitive as a new writer (or a seasoned one who just likes using repetition) is so normal. as is flowery/purple language. i've read hundreds of books and fics and the difference between these traits in ai-text and actual works is starkly clear. please don't feel anxious over the examples i've used in this post.
again, i apologise for any distress i have caused.
as per my last post, i have received a lot of encouragement to go public with this, and the more disappointed people i have in my dms, the angrier i get. so i will.
the silence and the song is an ancient arlathan au DA fic on ao3 by luxannaslut, and it is partly, if not entirely, written by an ai. i have no wish to be involved in any kind of fandom drama or witch hunting or bullying, but as a writer myself there are few things that piss me off more than watching people steal the work of others because they can't be fucked to write. it's disrespectful to your fellow writers, it's disrespectful to your readers, and it's disrespectful to the authors of the works the ai is stealing from.
ai is a plague that has no business being in creative spaces and you must do better.
the writing pattern
there was something very odd and monotone about the sentence structure of tsats that i couldn't quite place, so i fed chatgpt a prompt along the lines of "two people in a fantasy novel hate each other, but they secretly desire one another, and they kiss", and the screenshots above are the results. the third one is an excerpt from chapter 40 of tsats. the writing pattern is identical and it doesn't seem like the "writer" has even bothered to pretend they wrote it. if you're going to use ai, at least be sneaky about it. you know, paraphrase a little.
nonsense descriptions
"her nimble fingers worked with quiet precision" (ct. 1), "his grip firm but tender" (ct. 33), "her gown pooling around her like embers" (ct. 1).
fingers don't make sound, so what does quiet precision mean? as opposed to what? her joints cracking with every movement? how is a grip firm but tender? what does that mean? since when do embers pool?
the entire fic is littered with these adjectives that contradict each other or just straight up do not make sense, because all an ai does is generate descriptive language with no understanding of what the words it's spitting out actually mean. i could spend hours picking out examples from the seven billion pages worth of text, but i quite frankly have better things to do and would simply challenge you to try getting through a chapter or two without noticing the pattern.
repetition at structure-level
all the scenes in this fic are described in pretty much the same way. they open with purple prose vomit of the surroundings; solas is standing somewhere looking "unreadable as ever"; ellana's fiery golden molten fire copper ember ginger red hair is flowing this and that way; there's some dialogue with whoever is present and it leaves ellana feeling different variations of "something she couldn't name". this is, once again, a blatantly obvious sign of ai. below is the result of me feeding chatgpt the line "write me a scene from a fantasy novel where a woman with red hair is sitting on the ground in a magical garden at night", and side by side with that is the opening scene of the fic. make your own judgement.
repetition at word-level
this one speaks for itself. we fucking get it. her dress is orange, her hair is red, mythal's presence is heavy in the room, solas looks unreadable, compassion is sitting on her head like a crown, solas' ears are betraying him and ellana's move with every thought she thinks. we get it. the issue here is that an ai remembers the info you feed it, but not necessarily the info it shits out. if it's being told to write scene after scene of an elven woman with a gown that looks like fire doing xyz, it's going to do so with no regard for how many times the reader has already been informed of these details.
lastly: the breakneck speed
359,6k words in four weeks by a person who allegedly is employed and married and hasn't pre-written anything? no. any writer will tell you that this simply isn't possible. it absolutely infuriates me to see how much praise this "writer" gets for posting up to three full chapters in a day without anyone calling bullshit. i am pulling out my hair, you guys.
why i'm not going to live and let live this one
perhaps i would be less angry if the fic was some silly bullshit court intrigue Y/A stuff, but this is a text that handles very heavy and triggering topics such as SA, coercion, domestic abuse, and other things of the same vein. to sit back and put your feet up while having a robot write these extremely sensitive and very real human experiences with words it has stolen from texts written by actual persons is fucking heinous. the "writer" should be deeply ashamed of themselves and i'm sick and tired of watching people eat up their bs.
and on that note: the amount of people in my dm's telling me that they feel stupid and naive for not clocking this has infuriated me more than anything else. you're not foolish for this. being fed ai-generated bullshit is not what is supposed to happen on any creative platform and much less a fandom-centred one, so of course no one approaches a fic through that lens. fandom and fic writing is supposed to be about passion and the only person in this situation who needs to do better and change their behaviour is luxannaslut. polluting our creative spaces, wasting the time of your readers, and minimising the effort of actual writers who are working hard to provide content for us all to share and enjoy is vile and so, so lazy. i beg of you: do better.

hot for teacher
chapter two previous

pairing: shouta aizawa x f!reader
synopsis: You’re not expecting your day to fall to pieces at 8:21 a.m., but life hasn’t really been going your way lately. A string of lackluster dates, followed by two dead vibrators (with missing cords!), and the only outlet left for your mounting sexual frustration—the smut blog you diligently update—has been discovered by the one person you never wanted to find it: fellow teacher Shouta Aizawa. Who might just be the inspiration behind most of the fantasies you post about.
chapter cws: phone sex -> video call sex, soft dom aizawa being soft as hell, reader being vulnerable on main and hating it, gratuitous use of pet names, dirty talk, praise kink on crack, D/s vibes but never explicitly said, he talks you through it, reader referred to as girl once
word count: 2.2k
aizawa: You’re a good writer.
aizawa: This is Shouta, by the way. Shouta Aizawa, I mean. I suppose I should have started with that.
The compliment cracks your face into a wide, goofy grin that the rest of his texts only magnifies. He's a little clumsy with this form of media, and the thought softens the edge of anxiety.
You still can't wrap your head around the fact that Shouta fucking Aizawa not only found your blog, but was actually maybe into it?
You’ve mostly known him on the periphery, a part of the school’s landscape but never someone you felt comfortable becoming casual friends with. A crush of your magnitude already made talking to him difficult enough.
Which is probably best to not remind yourself of that fact before doing whatever the fuck it is you're doing with Aizawa.
The memory of fingers rubbing circles into your palm pops into your head. His touch had instantly calmed the riot of thoughts in your head.
You stare down at your phone. Thank you is not enough to say, and yet you have no idea what else to add. You shake your head. You’re a grown adult, for fuck’s sake. Surely you can respond to a text message.
aizawa: Can I call you?
You throw your phone across your bed. One of your cats, Bao Bao, raises his head to glare at you.
"Sorry, baby." You offer conciliatory scritches. He consents while your phone buzzes from the corner of the bed.
You pick it up with far more trepidation than necessary.
"Hi." You voices sounds wild to you, all high pitched and breathy with your heart thundering so hard in your ears you barely hear him say hello back. "How are you?"
You punch a fist into the bed sheets. How are you? Fucking seriously?
"Good. Are you nervous?"
You can't help but sigh. Clocked it in one. "Unbelievably."
A pause.
"Because it's me?"
"No, it's not that." You bite your lip. "I've just..."
It’s not like you’re inexperienced. You’ve fucked plenty of guys, but never really quite enjoyed having sex with any of them, which led to you churning out fantasies online.
"I've never really done any of the things I actually like with the people I've slept with. I guess I'm worried I'll be...bad, or something."
"Do you often think about your partner's experience over your own?"
This conversation is sounding more like a clinical psychologist appointment then a get-to-know-your-fuck-buddy chat.
A horrible thought occurs to you.
What if you're some kind of experiment to him? A curiosity? Rumi might know him from his college days and vouch for him, but you don't know shit about the guy.
"You know I can hear your brain whirring through the phone?"
"Fuck." You exhale out a laugh. "I'm sorry. I'm just finally realizing that I don't actually know what your intentions are. And men tend to be..."
"Manipulative pieces of shit?" he offers.
"Yeah. Something like that."
"I'm sorry. My 20 questions routine probably isn't helping."
You smile softly. "That and my anxiety. Always pushing forward the worst possible thought with little to no evidence. You're right, though. I'm usually in my head when I'm with someone. Can never get out of it long enough to actually enjoy myself."
He hums, considering. "What would help you not think so much?"
"Talking usually helps. I have a thing for nice voices."
"Do you like mine?" You swear you hear a touch of apprehension in his tone.
"Yeah," you say. "It's deep and kind of... I don't know, rumbley?"
"Rumbley," he repeats, chuckling. "I've never heard that before."
"It's a good thing, I swear."
"As long as you like it."
You have to strongly fight the desire to kick your feet up and down.
Keep it together.
Aizawa starts to speak again. "I know this is just words right now, but I want you to feel comfortable enough with me so you can tell me what you like and don't like."
Your stomach swoops at the calm intent.
"Right. I - " You swallow. "I want that, too."
"Good." The single word dries your mouth up. “Do you like to be called anything specific?"
An image of Aizawa's hand collaring your throat flashes through your head, his mouth an inch away from your ear as he tells you to behave—
"Isn’t this, I dunno, boring to you?" You toss the question out in a pitiful attempt at deflection. This conversation is already too honest, too real, too close to exposing who you are to another person.
He pauses. “Why would this be boring to me?”
"You know. We’re not doing the typical phone sex stuff. We’re just…talking."
"And you don't think that's enough to interest me?"
It never has been before.
You shut out the pitiful answer.
"Sorry. In my head again."
He's quiet for a moment.
"You’re telling me you’re not wet just thinking about the things I want to call you when we’re together?"
Your whole body flashes hot.
"I mean—"
"Tell the truth, sweetheart."
It’s impossible not to be, you realize; just from his voice alone, your panties are already damp and sticky with your arousal.
"Yes," you admit, and you wish you could see the look on his face when he lets out a gentle groan.
"I don’t care what phone sex is supposed to be like, I just want it to be what we like."
Oh god, you weren’t counting on Shouta Aizawa being sweet.
"That was one," you say, cheeks on fire. How is this both the tamest and sexiest conversation you’ve ever had? "I like being called sweetheart. But only, like, if I’ve been good."
Admitting this makes you feel off-kilter. You’ve never had such a frank discussion about what you like in bed, but talking to him feels safe, easy, even if your whole body aches, demanding to be touched.
"Oh?" His voice shifts, a deeper register making that single sound strike deep in your gut. "And what do you like to be called when you’ve been bad?"
You’re pretty positive that if Aizawa called you his little whore you’d detonate on the spot.
"You must have—"
"I know what you’ve written. I want to know what you like."
There's a bite in his tone you recognize, a struggle to keep himself quiet.
"Are you hard?" you blurt out.
His chuckle is strained. "Have been this entire time. And you called our conversation boring."
You grin at the teasing. "Can I see?"
You want to, suddenly, with a desperation that knocks you flat. If he were here, you're pretty sure you'd fucking crawl on your knees to get to him.
"Tell me what you like to be called, and I'll consider it."
You tell him instantly. "Slut, whore, brat. You could probably call me your little bitch and I’d like it."
"Fuck." He sounds wrecked. "Are you touching yourself, sweetheart?"
The pet name washes over you like sunshine.
"Umm. No, actually. I was..."
Waiting for your permission.
You handed him the reins a while ago, you realize, as soon as you obeyed his command to tell the truth.
"What are you wearing?"
Your thoughts stumble.
"The truth, y/n." His voice is so low now it's almost a growl. "I don't give a fuck if you're in a teddy or a trash bag, I just need to know how to get you naked the fastest."
"A t-shirt and panties," you breathe out. Arousal makes your skin tingle and pulse, every intonation of his voice drawing you closer to the edge. Rubbing your thighs together does nothing to ease the ache.
"Shit. You probably look so fucking cute in your bed right now." You hear him grunt and then a drawer shut. Thinking about Aizawa slicking up his hands and fucking his fist drives another thrum of desire through you. "Spread your legs apart, baby, pretend I'm right in front of you. Can you do that?"
You can barely breathe you're so turned on. "Yes, I can do that."
"Good girl. Now pull your panties to the side. Tell me how wet you are."
Just the caress of your fingers on your hips and inner thigh is enough to make you tremble. A light buzzing fills your ears and the world drops away to just your fingertips gathering the slick at your entrance. You graze your clit and gasp.
"I'm - " You suck in a breath, trying to articulate the words. "I don't think I've ever been this wet. Fuck, you're not even here and I'm practically soaking through my fucking sheets."
A second later, a video notification comes through.
You answer and Aizawa's face appears, his stubble heavier than normal, eyes hungry.
"Knew you'd look fucking beautiful like this," he says before you have time to speak. His eyes rove over your face like he's mapping it.
You wriggle under the compliment, under the implication—had he thought of you, too, before the blog?
"You look so good," is the only thing you can think to say, but Aizawa doesn't seem to mind. His eyes crinkle into a small smile. It's one you almost wish you hadn't seen, its sincerity something so rarely turned toward you it nearly stings.
"Thanks, honey."
Oh, you're never coming back from this.
"You still want to see?"
Really, truly, never coming back after Aizawa pans down his stomach, passing over a dark happy trail that makes your mouth water, and angles his phone over his cock.
Your pussy clenches around nothing.
"ohmygodyou'rebig," comes out in one long rush.
His head falls back against his headboard. He sucks in a breath and you watch, mesmerized, as he starts stroking his shaft slowly. He squeezes and twists the head, a little bit more pre-cum glistening at the tip.
"You've gotta stop lookin' at it like that, sweetheart, or I'll cum like a fucking teenager." Pride washes over you at how destroyed he sounds. It's like he would push himself through the phone if it were possible. "You have something there that will make you cum fast? I'm barely holding on and I want to finish with you."
You fumble for your rose, a thought occurring to you. Normally, you'd be too embarrassed to even suggest it, but you want to with Aizawa.
"Do you want to see me?"
The sound he makes is pornographic. You bite your lip, twisting your inner thighs together.
"Yes. God yes, I want to see you."
"I know you said you wanted me naked earlier, but maybe I can leave my shirt on?"
He nods. "Yeah, baby, let's do that. It's not like I don't want to see all of you. I just—"
"Want to save some things for next time?" you supply.
"Yeah." That soft smile again, the one that feels like your heart's being set on fire. "Exactly."
You do the same general pass over your body that Aizawa did, tracing over your waist and hips, encouraged by the way his eyes drink in every inch of exposed skin. Before you turn the rose on, you sink two fingers into your pussy and slide back out, slick webbing in between your fingers.
"Jesus, you're soaking wet." You can hear the lewd squelch of his hand along his dick and the moan you let out rivals his from earlier. You're shaking you're so turned on. "Turn your rose on, sweetheart, and then come back to me. I want to see you when you fall apart."
The toy suctions against your clit. A whimper falls from your mouth, and then several more, as Aizawa's voice washes over you. You lose track of how many times he tells you how good you're doing for him, how beautiful you look, but it feels like only seconds later that you're cresting toward your peak.
"Shouta," you breathe out, gasping for breath. His eyes are fixed on you, something unnameable in his gaze. "Please please please—"
"Cum, sweetheart," he says, and your eyes fall shut, voice keening into a wail as you thrash on your bed in the fiercest orgasm you've ever had. "That's my girl, showing me how much she wants me there stuff her full. Fucking perfect, so fucking perfect—"
Through the haze of orgasm, you barely register Aizawa's own orgasm, your own name echoing in your head as he finds his release.
"That was..." you trail off. You have no idea how to describe what that was besides life-changing, but that feels a little too intense to say.
"Amazing," he finishes. "Absolutely amazing. You were incredible."
You're pretty sure your body temperature could set your bed on fire you're so pleased by the compliment.
"You know you're cute when you're embarrassed," he teases.
You groan. "Your pillow talk needs work."
You were joking, but his face turns serious. "Got it. You were okay the whole time?"
A smile takes over your face before you can stop it. "Yeah. I was great. The whole time."
"Good."
You both don't say anything, and then you realize you're just staring at him, and the comfort is starting to make your skin itch. You aren't used to this.
"I should go to bed." The time on your bedside nightstand reads 1:03 a.m. "You too if we're going to get all the exams graded before break."
"Right. Good night, sweetheart."
You fall into sleep after the call clicks off, a trace of a smile on your lips.
You don't see the email come through.

press relations
stanford!artdonaldson x sportsjournalist!reader
summary: assigned to write a profile of stanford's rising tennis star, you get to know art better. much better.
warnings: smut, dry humping, b0ner alert, implied consent
a/n: this does have a *hint* of art x patrick x reader undertones at the end! any (constructive) feedback is appreciated :)
you get the message as you exit the lecture hall and head to the cafeteria for lunch. “other writers are busy. can you take the art donaldson profile?” reads the text from your editor. having written for the stanford daily as a sports reporter for the past year, you’re no stranger to turning a dull interview with a rather dim-witted football player into an oh-so-riveting piece. however, this is out of your comfort zone.
tennis is…boring. sure, you’d happily tagged along to a couple of tashi duncan’s matches, unwilling to pass up the opportunity to see an olympic-bound athlete in her prime, but it isn’t your ideal way to spend a saturday afternoon.
and yet, that is exactly what you are doing. the donaldson interview is lined up for directly after his match with a ucla player. “he’s got a tight schedule, so we need to accommodate him,” said your editor when you questioned why you had to sit through a match and then manage to cram in an interview in the men’s fucking lockerroom.
art donaldson is a year above you, living in the same dorm. you recognize most athletes at this point—in part because they’re constantly (obnoxiously) sporting team merch, and because of your job—but art is known by most for his friendship with tashi duncan. neither are particularly social, keeping their circle tight amongst fellow tennis players, both at stanford and professionals.
it’s difficult not to stick out in the bleachers. while other players, including a brown-haired boy cheering quite loudly, observe the game, it’s by no means packed. as donaldson pauses for water after the first set, he catches your gaze, giving an awkward wave in acknowledgement as he wipes the sweat from his face. you silently pray that he knows you’re the reporter he’s supposed to speak to, and doesn’t just think you’re some crazed tashi duncan fangirl.
his playing is statuesque, long limbs sweeping across the court (but not entirely stripped of the boyish energy that defined his success as a high school student). after beating his opponent 2-0, donaldson steps off the court, dramatically embraced by the brown-haired spectator, who you have since realized is his former doubles partner, patrick zweig, and you take this as a signal to get this interview started before he becomes swept up in celebrations.
climbing down the bleachers, you see art duck down into the hallway, making his way into the locker rooms. in all your time as a sports reporter, you hadn’t had such an…unconventional… interview location, and you feel a bit sick as the sound of the shower draws closer.
“art donaldson?” you say, standing just outside the open door of the locker room.
“yeah” he calls back, as though he was expecting you, but not entirely welcoming the intrusion. the shower turns off, and the soft sound of his steps on the tiles echo. “well, come in,” he calls again.
you step into the steam-filled space with your eyes directed down. “i understand you have physical therapy shortly, so i’ll try to keep this quick—,” you say, taken aback as you finally draw your eyes upward. he’s managed to pull on a pair of checkered boxers, fabric sticking to his still-damp body.
you can’t imagine you look particularly composed, hair sticking to your face from the steam with a burning blush spread across your cheeks. you watch as art bites his cheek and awkwardly motions for you to sit on the bench across from him as he methodically changes the overgrip on his racket.
“so,” you say, clearing your throat, “how did you first become interested in tennis?” he glances up from his task. “my parents needed someone to watch me, and my grandma was busy, so they stuck me in a local tennis camp. i doubt they realized that they were signing up for over a decade of tennis running my—and their—lives.”
you hum in agreement. “and what specific areas of your game are you hoping to improve on this season?” you follow up. his gaze becomes more intent—more focused. setting the racket to his side, art stands, before quickly realizing he’s still only boxer-clad. you stare at the opposite wall, hoping to save him the embarrassment, and you see him fumble to slip on shorts out of the corner of your eye. he clears his throat. “ – um – yeah, i’m trying to get faster on my feet. sorry, i—” he says, before you cut him off in protest. “no, no, i should have given you a moment to clean up after your match, it’s my fault,” you say, rising off of the bench awkwardly, avoiding his gaze.
but with the lingering steam, and your downward gaze, your fumble to exit the locker room instead lands you into direct contact with his chest. “shit! sorry,” you exclaim, drawing your chin up. a wash of heat cascades from your head, nipples taut, despite the warmth of the room, as your body reacts to the sudden proximity. art is equally flushed, pink lips slightly parted and chest rocking as he concentrates on breathing deeply, trying to lower his racing heart. you can smell him, fresh with a hint of that post-game sweat, a droplet of water falling from a blonde curl.
he brings a calloused hand to your hair, brushing it behind your shoulder, as if to ask permission. the slight nod and glaze of your tongue over your lips is enough for him to understand, his breath heavy against your face as your noses are close enough to touch. that final centimeter is finally closed, and it’s as though air rushes back into you while inhibition is tossed out. without thinking, your hair tangles into his mess of damp hair, and you feel his soft moan against your lips. you gasp as his hand grabs your ass, drawing you into contact with his erection (for how much of that interview was he hard?).
“you—ah—you have physical th-therapy,” you say, breathless as he works his mouth down your jaw and neck. “just…five more minutes,” he says in between kisses, like a teenager wishing to sleep in, causing you to chuckle. bringing your left knee up, your hips are suddenly flush against his, and the new contact sends you both reeling, his cock twitching in his shorts. you tentatively rock, again, against his groin, and you both seem to realize that that hit the spot. pushing your back against a locker, art draws his groin against yours again, and again, his soft pants becoming near whimpers as your lips meet for a desperate, sloppy kiss.
you’re lost in the rhythm the two of you have found, ignoring the rattle of the lockers with each thrust. fuck you’re embarrassingly close (that’s what a two month dry spell will do for you) but before you have to worry about coming too early, you hear his strangled voice in your ear. “ – f-fuck, s-sorry i’m close, was so pent up.” before you’re able to reply, your body has taken this as permission to let the orgasm wash over you at last. still reeling from your own orgasm, you feel the warm spread of art’s cum seep through the thin fabric of his shorts, as he continues to rut against you.
bringing your arms up to hurriedly fix your now-tangled hair, you draw away from art. a fresh blush comes to your cheeks at the realization of how silly you feel, grinding like a pubescent teen. art seems tired, yes, but not embarrassed, slipping off his pants and boxers and replacing them with clean ones. before he’s got his wits back, you’re out the door, praying no one managed to overhear the encounter. to your dismay, patrick zweig, smug as ever, sits outside the locker room.

Rich in Life

Summary: Bob is known to be the shy, quiet and kinder one of out the whole dagger squad, and he didn’t mind the ‘soft’ reputation one bit, because he knew the real him. The version of himself that came out whenever he got his wife alone, which, luckily for him, was every single night.
Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: smut, fluff, dirty talk, unprotected sex, swearing, oral (f receiving), overstimulation, hair pulling, fingering, all that good stuff, i had writer’s block and for some reason the only person i could write about was bob, so...enjoy.
It was Saturday night, and instead of being at home by himself like he had grown used to, Bob was out at The Hard Deck, perched on a stool with a Ginger Ale in his hand as he watched Phoenix kick Hangman’s ass at pool.
It was entertaining, to say the least, because Jake was usually so stuck up and cocky about everything and anything, it was nice to watch his fellow aviator effortlessly beat him at something.
The bar was lively as usual, but Bob didn’t mind it. He had ditched his usual khakis for a white tee and jeans, his casual clothing choice outside of his work uniforms.
As he listened to the comical bickering, he looked over at the bar and watched as you talked with Penny, a kind smile on your lips as you gave her your full attention. God, you were so sweet and so sexy, Bob was still in a little disbelief that he is the one who gets to take you home after this.
He adjusted his glasses and looked over at Jake, who was smirking at him, and Bob just shook his head. He’d grown accustomed to the teasing remarks and looks from his co-workers about how hot his wife is. He knew you were fucking gorgeous, he’s married to you.
“I still don’t know how you landed her, Bob,” he said as he bent down to line up his shot again. “She’s a fucking stunner. Total smokeshow. I don’t know what she sees in you. No offense.”
Bob just shook his head again as Bradley reached over and smacked the blond on his shoulder while Nat glared at him from across the table. He didn’t care to say anything back as he turned his head and saw you begin to make your way through the crowded space, your drink held up a bit as you carefully maneuvered between bodies.
Your pretty engagement ring and wedding band reflected off the lights as you settled beside him once again and leaned up to press a soft kiss to his cheek. He was still a little taller than you, even from his place on the stool, but it also made him the perfect height for you to snuggle against him. “Sorry I took so long. Penny is so sweet, I just had to stay and talk with her for a bit,” you murmured, a gorgeous smile on your lips as you sipped on your red drink. “But I’m back now.”
Bob smiled back at you as one of his arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you closer. “It’s okay. Penny is great, I don’t blame you for wanting to hang with her instead of us guys and Nat,” he said, knowing Phoenix was far too focused on drilling into Jake to hear his words. “You know, you look stunning tonight.”
You really did. Your pretty blue and pink sundress looked gorgeous on you, and it was one of Bob’s favorite things you owned. Of course you knew that, though.
A blush coated your face as you nuzzled your head against his shoulder, hiding as if you were embarrassed by his words. “Are you trying to ensure you get lucky tonight when we get home? Or are you just being your natural sweet self?” you teased, nudging his side with your elbow. “I can never tell with you, baby.”
Bob grinned, his hand tightening its protective hold on your hip. “Can you blame me? You’re the most gorgeous girl in the room,” he said back, knowing just how lucky he was to have you by his side, and he loved the flirty banter that always happened between you and him every time you went out together. “I just want to make sure you’re having a good time, baby.”
You leaned up to press a chaste kiss to his lips. “I’m having a great time,” you said, winking up at him as you moved closer to his side and sipped your drink some more. “But I kinda can’t wait to get back home with my hot husband.” you added, shrugging casually as you slipped your left hand into the back pocket of his jeans and gave him a teasing squeeze.
His breath hitched slightly and he held back a low groan as he leaned into your touch by pure instinct. “Is that so?” he hummed, trying to keep his cool in front of his friends. He was known as the sweet, shy and quiet guy at work and in public, but with you, he was as dirty as it got.
But that side of him was just for you.
Bob lifted his hand and cradled your jaw between his fingers as he looked you in the eyes. “I think we can arrange that, sweet girl,” he said, his tone promising as he leaned in to press a gentle kiss to your lips
You moaned softly against his lips, because you were shameless as much as you are sweet, and that’s one of the things Bob loves about you. “Bob,” you whispered against his lips as your fingers teased the collar of his shirt. “Take me home. Please?”
Bob stood up and set his forgotten drink aside before he wrapped his arm around your waist and guided you towards the door. “I thought you’d never ask,” he said quietly as he led you out towards his truck, where he kissed you a few more times before getting in the driver’s seat.
As soon as he was behind the wheel, he reached for your hand and intertwined your fingers as he drove. Once he parked the truck in the driveway, Bob was pushing open his door before rounding the front of the truck to open yours. He gathered you into his arms as he walked with you towards the front door, his lips peppering kisses along your neck.
When he got you up to your shared room, Bob laid you down on the bed, his gaze heated as he looked at you. His hands were already tugging at your dress as he kissed you deeply, tasting the fruity drink you’d had at the bar on your tongue.
He pulled away and pressed a few kisses to your shoulder blade before he looked at you with nothing but adoration and desire in his eyes. “You’re so beautiful,” he whispered, cradling your face in his hands as if you were the most fragile, most stunning thing he’d ever seen. “I need to taste you.”
You moaned at his words, your eyes unguarded and trusting as you writhed under him. You reached down and pulled off your dress, tossing it aside to find later, which left you in just your panties since you skipped a bra tonight.
Bob’s hands gripped your knees and spread your thighs, his eyes darkening as he looked at the lace clinging to your heat. You were so hot, he was having a hard time taking his eyes off your gorgeous body, but your soft laugh had his gaze meeting yours. “Taste me,” you encouraged as he pulled off his shirt and kicked off his jeans.
Your words definitely had an impact on Bob as he leaned down and nuzzled his face against you, inhaling your all too familiar scent. He was rather slow as he hooked his fingers into the waistline of your panties and tugged them down your legs, showing him the pretty view of your glistening folds. He leaned in and licked a stripe up your slit before flicking your clit with the tip of his tongue, and Bob moaned at your taste, so addictive and sweet and all for him.
He worshipped you with increasing fervor, switching between gentle licks and hard sucks that had you bucking against his face and sliding your hand into his hair. “Mm, I love tasting you,” he murmured, one of his hands sliding up your stomach to palm your breast as his thumb teased your nipple.
Your head fell back on the pillow as you writhed on the bed, your fingers tightening in his hair. “Bob…fuck, baby,” you gasped, arching your back as he devoured you like a man starved.
Bob groaned, feeling his cock twitch in his boxers as his tongue explored your most private part. His other hand gripped your hip, keeping you pinned to the bed as he feasted on your sweet taste.
His hand left your chest and slid down your torso, and he slipped two long fingers inside you, your arousal and his saliva giving him easy entrance. You were so wet for him and warm and tight, Bob had no control over the way his hips bucked against the mattress. You were so hot.
“Come on, baby,” he mumbled against your pussy, his lips brushing against your clit. “Let go for me, I got you.”
When he curled his fingers and sucked harder on your puffy clit, you came for him with a soft cry, your eyes squeezing shut as your back arched. Bob licked and lapped at your folds greedily until you had quieted down and fell back on the bed, your chest heaving with uneven breaths. He crawled up your body, slowly pulling his fingers out of you as he did so, and he licked them clean before kissing you deeply.
Then he pushed his boxers down and slid inside you. “God, baby,” he groaned against your mouth as he began to slowly roll his hips against yours. You were so tight, Bob had to hold himself back from fucking into you like he wanted to. “You feel so good, taking me so well.”
He broke the kiss and trailed his lips along your jaw, his nose nuzzling against your cheek as he picked up the speed a bit, making your mouth part as soft moans left your throat. “Fuck,” you gasped, your back arching as his cock immediately filled you. You were still sensitive since he’d just made you cum a mere five seconds ago, but you didn’t mind it at all. Your legs were wrapped tightly around his waist, your body shaking a bit as you tipped your head back on the pillow. “Bob…oh, my fucking God.”
Bob lifted his head and kissed you again, his tongue brushing against yours and muffling your whimpers. “I love feeling you wrapped around me. So tight and warm,” he rasped, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck as his hips snapped a bit harder against yours. “So sexy, baby.”
He reached down in between your bodies, his fingers instantly finding your throbbing clit, and he teased the bundle of nerves as he increased the pace even more until you were shaking once again.
“Gonna make you cum again, sweet girl,” he promised, his voice low and husky. “Right here on my cock. Just for me.”
In public, Bob was a softie (for the most part), but when he was with you, he had no filter, and the filthiest things freely left his mouth. He knew it drove you wild, the switch up that only happened with you, and he knew how much dirty talk turns you on.
You were shuddering from the sensitivity, your eyes rolling back a bit as you moaned louder. “Just for you,” you echoed, wrapping your legs tighter around his waist as your hands slid into his hair and made it a mess. “Just yours.”
Bob moaned, peppering kisses along your shoulders as he reached down to grip your knee with his free hand, and he lifted it slightly to change the angle. “Just mine,” he agreed against your skin, his body heating up as a light layer of sweat formed on his forehead. When you clenched around him, he let out a strangled sound as he fucked you into the bed. “That’s it, baby, squeeze me.”
Your moans and whines were growing louder and louder, and your fingers were beginning to pull at his hair. “Bob,” you whimpered, guiding his lips back to yours in a messy kiss.
Your hips were bucking against his as his fingers continued to rub fast circles onto your clit, and he knew you were close when he felt you tighten around him once again. “Come on, sweet girl,” he murmured, his body pressed right up against yours as he rocked his hips into yours. “Cum for me again.”
Your body tensed up in his arms as you broke the kiss and tipped your head back, a long, loud cry leaving your lips as you came around him, enveloping him in a warm wave as you shuddered uncontrollably.
“Fuck yes,” Bob groaned, his hips stuttering as you clung onto him. A few seconds later, he was there too, and he was filling you up entirely as you whimpered and trembled under him.
He gave a few more slow thrusts before he pulled out of you, and he watched as his glistening cock slid free from your warm body, and a bead of cum dripped from you. You were so beautiful, he’d never get tired of watching you come undone for him.
Bob leaned down and pressed a softer kiss to your lips, and when he pulled away, his mouth was turned upwards in a lazy grin. “I love you,”
You hummed, draping your arms around his shoulders as you finally settled under him. “I love you too,” you said back, keeping your legs wrapped around him as you kissed him again in a post-sex make out session. “Stay like this, right here. Don’t get up yet.”
“Okay,” he whispered, holding you tightly in his arms as he gently eased his body down on top of yours, covering you like a shield. “We’ll stay like this for as long as you want to.”
You nodded slowly, a soft smile on your lips as you smoothed out his messy hair and adjusted his glasses. Then you were leaning in and kissing him again, and you continued to for a long time after that.

"type out a little message instead"
ヾ( ᗒ‿ᗕ )っ💌
YES!!!! That's such a cute way of putting it. Leave a little message for your authors!!
psst fanfic readers
you just finished a mind-blowing fic, and you want the author to know you loved it! you tap the 'kudos' button, but that smug little smiley face pops up to taunt you instead. you've already left kudos on this work!
don't despair!
scroll down just a little farther, tap the 'comment' button, and type out a little message instead! it can be anything! your comment can be as short as 're-read kudos' or as long as the comment box will allow!
your presence in the fic was logged as a hit as soon as you opened it -- so if you liked it, let the author know! don't let them watch the hits pile up on the story they put so much work and heart into, just to feel like nobody enjoyed it. especially not if you want to continue having stories to read. silence is how you kill creativity
#THIS!!!!!! OMG THIS.#i often see people write “i wish i could leave a Kudos on every chapter” ... and I'm like.... 🤔👀 ... but you CAN!!!#it's called Leaving a Comment#you can just say that you LOVED it! you can just say THANK YOU. it doesn't have to be wordy or an analysis of themes or characterisations#the thought of leaving a deep analysis of themes or characterisations terrifies me LOL. so i live blog how it made me FEEL...#and this works for me!! and it's FUN!!#but Havoc i LOVE that you said “leave a little message instead”. Calling comments a “MESSAGE” is such a cute idea.#and maybe it will feel a little less daunting#i was so nervous to comment when i first started reading - and yes there are fics that i read that i didn't comment on in the early days 🥺#but i started SMALL... a thankyou and some keysmashes and some I LOVED THIS!!'s and then it got easier!! and MORE FUN!!!#& yes I'm prone to leaving long 'live reaction' comments ... but i also sometimes only have the spoons for a short & simple comment#so PLEASE leave a “message” on the fics you read and enjoy. it DOES get easier!#let your authors know that you're OUT THERE... LOVING their works. they they aren't screaming into the void. 🥺#when i hit that Comment button i get a little hit of seratonin too!!!#l'm excited to know that the author gets a PING that someone left a comment!!!#and maybe it brightens their day as much as their fic brightened mine#I've made the bestest of MOST beautiful friends and i can confirm that writers will feel motivated to write MORE!!!#just gobbling up fics without at the very least saying “thankyou for this delicious food” is just like eating a friend's home cooked meal#and staying silent. 🥺😟#... and then EXPECTING that they make you dessert and THEN be grateful that you ate it (in silence). 🫤😒#please if i can encourage ONE reader to step outside your comfort zone and Leave a Sweet Message on the next fic you read -#i promise it will feel GOOD!! and if the author replies!!! PHWWARRrrr!!! Oohh boy!! YAY it feels even better!!!#commenting#comment culture#fandom etiquette#fanfic comments#writers 🫱🏻🫲🏼 commmenters#look im not a writer so this is purely as a fellow reader... PLEASE comment/'leave a message'... and fandom will be 1000% more fun for you.

There are writers in Gaza, there are journalists, there are artists, all of whom having their own style, their own field of interest. But right now, their ink only flows onto the reports of their own genocide. There are very few places in the world where it has been made so; where life has stopped and conversations have been flattened.
I remember getting to know that Motaz liked to document the beauty of little moments- going to shops and clicking pictures of crafts and friends. I remember Bisan posting about attending a lecture in Egypt. The point here being, every journalist, every writer had a life. They had their own thing going on. That blue vest and helmet were forced on them! And even if they didn't don one on– their pen still moves to document the death of their family, friends and fellow colleagues who were cruelly targeted by the zionist occupation during this time.
My friend Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) is a journalist...
He is a writer too and before October 7, he used his gift of writing to help those who were in need. He wrote mostly about charity work back then, and it is somewhat of a cruel irony that today he has been put in the position of having to appeal to the free world for their humanity. Siraj says, "In this war, I became a needy person"
We are a website full of writers- be it writing fics or be it about politics, the point is that we write! Thousands of notes, thousands of reblogs, thousands of opinions on tumblr and I am saying to you now, that none of it matters, if we cannot mobilize ourselves for a fellow writer, who is facing genocide in Gaza
I request you then, to take Siraj's voice far and wide, to please follow his blog and read the updates he painstakingly writes everyday on his blog (@siraj2024). Please, amplify Siraj's voice and tell people about his writings, request them to donate, to organize themselves so that he may rebuild his house in Gaza.
Siraj needs to raise 30k within this week !! Time is running out, as it is becoming more and more difficult for him to continue on with posting for his campaign.
So far he is at $24,369 / 30,000 CAD
Boost and donate please. Help siraj rebuild the home he lost to this genocide
( no 219 on Hussein and Nabulsi's spreadsheet)

You glower at the smug and unfortunately attractive older man sitting at the table in the employee’s lounge with a mug of coffee decorated with running Christmas reindeer. “Don’t, Toji,” you deadpan, crossing your arms over your ample bosom. “I’m not in the mood for this.”
Toji, the sexy, smug older man in question, sniggers into his coffee. “Well, shit, sourpuss,” he replies in his deep, bare toned voice that sends unwanted shivers down our spine. “I was just givin’ you a compliment. C’mon, you know you look cute!”
‘Cute’ isn’t at all what you’d call your elf outfit for your unwanted shift at your crummy seasonal job at the mall.
You would first call it ‘stupid’ because of the pointed green hat and boots you’re forced to wear with the jingling bells attached so you always make noise when you walk.
The second thing you’d call it is ‘slutty’. The red vest hugs your ample tits which you’ve been blessed and cursed with by the lineage of women in your family, the push-up bra making your girls way more noticeable.
The green skater skirt is way too short and you have to be very careful bending anywhere in fear of flashing someone your panties.
And you won’t even mention the red and white striped thigh-high socks and gloves. You feel like a stripper about to make her grand debut at the North Pole dancing in Santa’s workshop!
There is no way the costume designers didn’t know what the fuck they were doing here. You had to rush down the hallway after changing in the locker room to avoid being seen by your fellow overworked and underpaid seasonal employees and mall workers.
You had originally decided to work retail this season to save up on money for Christmas gifts and next year’s tuition. You’re a college student, so your stress levels are at about 100 with winter finals, buying gifts, and still keeping enough sanity to celebrate the holidays on winter break.
You’ve been working retail shifts at Bath & Body Works since September to get a head start on saving plus doing office work for your manager and taking some shifts as a greeter at City Winery aka the only decent restaurant at your local mall.
You thought your time here couldn’t get any worse than customers complaining about discontinued body washes and screaming kids, but you were wrong. When your manager picked you to be the mall elf for the mall Santa shifts this month, you thought you died and descended into Hell.
The only saving graces are that it is only for one month, you get extra pay, and you only have to work four hours throughout the day in this stupid costume. You thought you would have time to relax until the first shift in the privacy of the employee’s lounge, but clearly not.
Of course, you’re forced to share the space with a coworker you can’t stand. “What are you even doing in here?” you ask, scowling at Toji. “Don’t the security guards have their own lounge?”
“Eh,” Toji says, shrugging. “Too many people smoke in there. Plus, you guys got the best mugs.” He raises his mug at you and raises his brows once, smirking at you with that sinful, scarred mouth. “Plus, I need to relax before my shift.”
You sigh, carefully walking into the lounge and taking your Starbucks Frappuccino out of the fridge despite Toji’s presence making you feel nervous enough to fog up your glasses.
Toji Fushiguro is the hot DILF security guard that works full time at the mall to support his son as a single dad. You’ve been working the same shifts as him since September, always earning unwanted attention from him when he opens the doors for you when you arrive and leave your mall shifts.
It is no secret that you strongly dislike the man. He is cocky, pompous, arrogant, and always smells faintly of cigarettes. He is also extremely sexy, standing at six-foot something with defined muscles and arms that could wrestle a bear. You can see why he was hired as a security guard.
He is also a huge slut according to the stories you’ve heard. The man has HUGE community dick (and a huge dick, apparently). He knows he is attractive and knows how to get what he wants from women. But not you, even though he has tried. You wave off his compliments, uninterested in spending any kind of time with him. He is a whore and nothing more.
But Toji isn’t the only coworker at this mall that you detest. “Hey, Fushiiii,” the familiar, silky voice of your fellow college student mockingly sings from the door. Toji begins to laugh, nearly coughing into his coffee. “Damn, Gojo, you look ridiculous!” he guffaws.
You turn from the fridge and you wish you didn’t. Of course, Gojo Satoru is dressed in his own elf costume.
The tall, beefy, six foot-something college athlete and smarty-pants looks less ridiculous than you do despite the silliness of the outfit. His white locks peek out from under his pointed hat and his red socks are stretched tight over his strong calves.
You hide your laughter, refusing to even crack a smile around the guy. Unfortunately, you’re familiar with Satoru. He isn’t quite a friend or really an enemy either…not even an acquaintance. He is more of a colleague who goes to the same school as you and you’ve had many courses with despite you being a junior and him being a senior.
He is also incredibly intelligent, the star basketball player on your uni’s team, just as cocky as Toji, and incredibly good-looking. You’ve had many thoughts of his plump, pink lips and Colgate smile when you should be studying.
Satoru is more than convinced that you two are friends who sometimes flirt. When he sees you, his blue eyes are all aglow. “Ooooh, don’t you look so cute!” he coos.
“Oh, please, don’t start,” you groan, rolling your eyes. “I already had to hear that from him.” You nod at the security guard sitting spread eagle at the table. “But it’s true, ain’t it?” Toji sniggers. “You’re gonna get a whole lot of attraction with this little get-up.”
He reaches out and flicks one of the tiny bells attached to your belt. “Cut it out!” you hiss, slapping his hand away. Your skin grow hot with frustration and embarrassment.
“Oooh, she’s feisty,” Satoru chuckles. “Hang on, I need to get a picture. This is just too good.” He slides his phone out of his pocket, but you duck behind a nearby chair.
“Don’t,” you growl. “Take a picture of yourself. I’m sure your boys on your team would love to see your new get-up.”
Satoru laughs, coming into the kitchen, ducking under the door to avoid hitting his head because he’s so goddamn tall. “I already did and I still look good,” he replies. “How much you wanna bet I’ll snag a single MILF with this fit?”
He gives you a wink while Toji laughs, eyes still on you. Anyone else would feel rather intimidated being in a room with two broad, tall, hot dudes, but it is as if you have no inkling that these two are even remotely attracted to you.
A little self-deprecating of you, but you’re an extreme nerd. Not only are you rocking glasses that make your eyes explode to the capacity of the frames, you always have your nose stuck in a book or a study guide. You don’t get involved in dating on campus or who is fucking who.
While it would be nice to find someone nice to call a boyfriend, you know that men are too involved with less-nerdy girls to even try to talk to you, and you prefer it that way…at least, that’s what you tell yourself.
“You wish,” you scoff at Satoru as he passes you to grab a bottle of water. As he does, his hip bumps yourself, making you feel as if you’ve just been burned.
“She’s gotchu there, Gojo,” Toji chuckles. “Not when my sexy ass is gonna be wearin’ this Santa outfit.”
“Wait, what?” You turn to stare at the security guard, mouth open in shock. “You’re playing the mall Santa this year?”
Toji nods and smirks at your reaction, moving his legs from under the table to reveal his leather boots and red pants with furry, white trim along the ankles and belt. His black tee is tight against his toned, impressive upper torso, outlining each ridge of his pecs and abs.
“That’s correct, my dear elf,” he teasingly answers, making Satoru snigger. “You’re about to be workin’ for me in the next few minutes and for the rest of the month.”
“And workin’ with me,” Satoru adds, his pink lips curled into a teasing smile that boils your blood. “Your favorite project partner and classmate.” He, too, plays with the bell on your belt, making you swat his hand away.
This couldn’t be any worse! The last thing you want is to spend the next month with these two assholes. You desperately want to hit your manager up and tell her to switch you with someone else, but you know that no one else is willing to be the mall elf this year.
So with a heavy heart, you finish your few minutes of privacy with your Frappuccino in the locker room before you’re forced to stand alongside Satoru the Mall Elf while Toji gets settled in his fake armchair among the gaudy Christmas setup for Santa Claus. Toji sits in the whole Santa getup, beard to cover his cleanly-shaven face and all. His legs are spread eagle and you have to avoid looking at him so you won’t be staring at his crotch.
Two more mall elves, high schoolers Yuji Itadori and Kugisaki Nobara, help round up the kids in line and chat with the parents (or argue with them, courtesy of Nobara) while Satoru announces to the kids how to conduct themselves around Toji Claus. “Aaaaalright, boys and girls!” he bellows, his voice echoing among the dozens of rosy-faced little munchkins. “Are y’all ready to meet Santa Claus?!”
“Yeeeeeah!” the kids cheer, overexcited and overjoyed to sit in a grown man’s lap, telling him what they want for Christmas, and get some photos snapped.
You smile a bit. You’ll admit that Satoru is good with kids being the yapper he is. “Now just as a reminder to you fine folks: no shoving, hitting, yelling or spitting. There is plenty of Santa to go around. When you finally come up here with me and this other fine elf here…”
He motions a hand to you and gives you a wink that you nearly miss. You roll your eyes, ignoring the way your stomach flips. “…you sit in Santa’s lap and nicely tell him what you’d like for Christmas,” he finishes. “You guys got it?” While some nod in understanding, others look lost. “I think they need a demonstration, Satoru!” Itadori calls while Nobara snorts.
Satoru wickedly grins at Toji, but the mall Santa isn’t having that. “Nah,” he deadpans behind his fake beard. “You’re too tall to be a kid…but she’s not.” He points at you with one gloved hand, smirking. “You ready to be a model student, college girl?” he whispers.
“Fuck off,” you hiss under your breath. There is no way he can be serious about this! “Our dear elf Y/N, Santa’s favorite elf at the North Pole, is about to demonstrate for you guys what to do,” Satoru announces, struggling hard to fight his laughter.
Toji pats his lap, his smile almost obscene. “Come, little girl: sit on Da—, I mean Santa’s lap.”
You simmer hot with anger and frustration, not just for him but for Satoru who even thought to encourage this. But with the kids and parents all looking at you, you have no choice.
Swallowing your pride and not-so-nice words, you smooth your skirt over your ass and take a tentative seat in Toji’s warm, muscular lap. You sit rigidly, your hands stiffly in your lap and shoulders tense.
Toji places a hand on the arm of his chair, right next to your elbow. “Now what would you like for Christmas, hm?” he asks. “A Barbie? A puppy? Maybe a sense of humor?”
You turn to him, your jaw thigh. “I hate you,” you mouth.
“Sorry, I couldn’t hear you too well, little girl,” he replies, tapping his ear. “Santa’s hearin’ ain’t too good. Can you speak up for me?” His eyes glow with humor and mirth, finding enjoyment in your suffering.
You fix a smile onto your face and look straight at the happy-faced kids. “A Barbie please, Santa,” you chirp, your voice fake and cheery. Suddenly, a big, gloved hand snakes around your waist, holding you firmly onto his lap. You gape at him, alarmed. “W-What are you—“
“And what else, little girl?” he interrupts, his voice growing lower. More seductive. “Go on, tell ol’ Santa what else you’d like under your tree.” His grip tightens a bit, not enough to hurt you but just enough to be possessive of you. You stare at him, completely speechless.
“Oh, oh, I want a kitty cat!” a little girl yells from the line of kids. Her bold statement causes the other kids to begin screaming out what they want. The commotion distracts the adults enough for you to deal with Toji. “What the hell are you doing?!” you hiss. “Let go of me!”
You try to stand up, but Toji tightens his arm and snatches you back down, his fingers nearly digging into your thigh as your skirt rides up an inch. “Ah-ah, don’t move around too much, doll,” he whispers, his voice like smooth whiskey. “You’ll cause somethin’ that you didn’t intend to do…or maybe you did.”
As you see his eyes grow hooded, you feel your stomach fluttering with frantic butterflies…as well as something else. Something you feel growing underneath you. When you accidentally shift in Toji’s lap, he quietly groans behind his fake beard, muffling the noise, but you hear it.
You also feel the very obvious, hard, swelling, throbbing bulge growing underneath your ass. “Oh, my God,”you gasp, looking behind you. “Y-You’re…you’re ha—“
“Sorry,” he apologizes though he doesn’t sound the least bit sorry. “But can ya blame me? I’m a guy, after all.”
You gape at him, your face ablaze, unsure of what to do or how to feel. Should you feel flattered? Disgusted? Embarrassed? With the way his hand is still securely wrapped around you, you aren’t sure anymore. “Y-You can’t—“
“What?” Toji chuckles, his laughter soft yet seductive. “Don’t act like you’re not enjoyin’ this or like you haven’t been eye-fucking me since we met.” His gray eyes slide over to the tall, white-haired elf currently chatting up a married couple. “Not just me but the basketball star too.”
You are unable to talk despite your desire to protest. But he’d know you weren’t telling the truth.
Toji pulls his beard down to show off his plump, kissable lips and you have the sudden urge to kiss his scar. “Lucky for you, babes, I’ve got a thing for chicks with glasses.” He smiles up at you, the act somehow making him more handsome and more irritating.
His grip loosens and you finally shoot out of his lap as if your ass is on fire. Speaking of ass, the damn thing is nearly out because of how your skirt has ridden up past your red stockings.
“Alright, boys and girls!” Satoru yells. “Time for…” He turns around, just in time to get a flash of your red panties and how soft and suckable your thighs look in your stockings. ”Fuck,” he says under his breath, gaping at you and envisioning some very nasty things.
“Time for some photos!” Itadori calls. “Everybody line up, one at a time to meet Santa!”
Satoru is too distracted by your soft thighs and the flash of your red panties to pay any attention to his job. You notice his eyes and quickly pull your skirt down as low as it can go….which isn’t very low.
“I’m shocked you ain’t feelin’ a draft,” Toji whispers. “Careful, doll. You might flash the kiddos.” You glare, but not at him. You don’t look anywhere at him. “I could tell you the same thing, jackass,” you hiss. “Don’t look at me.”
But you can still feel his glaring, hot gaze on you, as well as Satoru’s. Nobara has to kick him in the ankle to snap him out of it. “Uh, Gojo?” she whispers. “Helloooo? The camera for the pictures?”
Blushing as red as Toji’s uniform, Satoru quickly fumbles with the camera as the first little boy comes up to Toji, smiling big and bright for the mall Santa. You stand off to the side, discreetly pulling at your skirt and wishing to melt into the floor.
After an hour of standing there pretending not to be aroused by the idea of Toji’s cock, you’re finally given a 30-minute break for lunch. You quickly make a beeline for the security guards’ break room located at the back of the mall, knowing that most of them are posted outside or on duty on different floors.
The breakroom is luckily empty, but you can barely eat most of your lunch except for a bag of chips and gulp down some water. You can’t even relax. Mostly because of the throbbing sensation between your legs.
You whimper, shifting your body in the chair closest to the private locker room and bathroom. You have felt like this for over an hour, doing your best to ignore the tingling between your thighs as you assisted each kid.
But now as you sit in the privacy and darkness of the break room, you can’t ignore the uncomfortable wetness of your panties anymore…or how depraved you are getting horny over Toji’s cock. You know you can’t go on like this, not when you need to work.
“I can’t believe I’m doing this,” you mutter to yourself. But you leave your post anyway and quickly hide in the empty locker room where you proceed to shut the door and sit on the bench farthest away from it.
Quickly, you reach under your skirt and slip your panties down to your thighs. “Ah,” you gasp as the warm air hits your bare, sodden wet pussy. You are a mess. How could the idea of Toji getting a stupid boner arouse you so?
When you close your eyes, the images get worse. You see the sexy, smirking security guard peeling down his Santa pants to reveal his fat, throbbing, veiny cock just curved enough to help you imagine what it would stroke inside of you.
As you take two fingers and begin to slowly rub your needy clit, you see yourself wrapping your lips around the thick cock in front of you as your hand wraps around his shaft. You can almost taste him, feel his warm balls against your chin.
“Oh, fuck,” you whisper, your voice quivering as your fingers grow slippery. Your slick trickles down your slit as you frantically play with yourself, hearing Toji’s low moans in your head as he sinks into your throat.
You can feel yourself growing closer, your pussy oozing more and more slick just as Toji begins to fuck your face as he grabs the back of your head, pulling your hair. Your breath comes out in short pants that sound louder in the empty locker room as the knot in your core grows tighter. “T-T-To—“
The door suddenly opens and there the mall Santa stands. He looks shocked to see you at first, but then his face turns into one of pure smugness. “Now what do we have here?” he mockingly asks. “A very naughty fuckin’ girl.”
You nearly scream, quickly closing your legs and covering yourself. “Fuck!” you gasp. “What the fuck are doing in here?!”
Toji leans against the doorframe, arms crossed over his beefy chest. He has ditched the Santa jacket for his black tee, but kept the pants and boots. “Came in for a break since all the guards are on shift, but I see you decided to do the same thing.”
You flush hot with humiliation, your heart pummeling in your chest. “T-This isn’t what it looks like,” you weakly say. Toji cocks his head to the side. “Really? ‘Cause it looks and sounded like you were just rubbin’ that little pussy to the thought of me before your next shift.”
His lips curl into a knowing smile. “So the earlier situation got to you too. Lucky for you, babydoll, I’m still not over it either.”
His big hand grips his hard-on chubbing against his red pants, captivating you.
Then…zzzzzip. His fly comes down, his belt comes off, and suddenly, his cock is out and slapping against his toned stomach and happy trail. It is as thick, veiny, and curved as you envisioned in your fantasy. Your eyes grow wide at the sight like a deer caught in headlights. Suddenly, you can’t move.
“I’m still very much on the hard side,” he breathlessly states, his eyes hooded with lust. “And since this is your fault, I think you need to take responsibility for it.” He flashes his teeth at you in a grin, wrapping a hand around his hard cock. “Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.”
You watch him jerk his dick in front of you, your pussy clenching around air at the lewd sight. Suddenly, he stops and walks up to you, his boots thudding across the floor. He looms over you, a wolfish grin on his face, and you lean back as far as you can against the lockers like a trapped animal. “C’mon, you can be a good little helper for Santa and help me out, right?”
You don’t know whether to say yes or tell him to go fuck himself. You know you should go for the second option. After all, he’s being a pervert and using earlier as an excuse.
But somehow, all common knowledge, logic, and ethics go out the window when you suddenly find yourself dragged into a bathroom stall and kneeling on the tiled floor with Toji’s cock in your mouth. His big hand intertwines in your hair, his thick, calloused fingers gripping each strand to push and pull you onto his cock.
“You’re doin’ so good so far, babydoll,” he praises, his voice strained with pleasure. “Keep it up for me, ‘kay? You’ve got about twenty minutes left to make Santa cum.”
His groans and grunts are quiet yet delicious, heard by your ears only in the empty bathroom stall as your cheeks hollow around his cock. He is bigger and thicker than you anticipated, leaving your jaw aching trying to accommodate him as you suck him off. Saliva drips down from your mouth down your chin, threatening to stain your top.
As if thinking the same thing, Toji rips your top down, exposing your tits to him. “Fuck, look at how sexy you are,” he groans, watching the way your chest jiggles and sways as your throat expands and flexes around him. “Such a good little slut for me. Swore you didn’t want me, but now look at you.”
He forces your chin up to look at him, your watery eyes and crooked glasses staring up into his devious, salacious gaze. “Betcha you always wanted to do this,” he chuckles. “Betcha you played hard to get just to drive me fuckin’ crazy like the little cock whore you are.”
He wipes some spit away from your lips before he pushes himself in deeper, nearly making you choke. You pull yourself away far enough to cough and catch your breath. “T-Toji, wait,” you gasp. “You’re too deep!”
He ignores you, forcing your mouth open and plunging himself back between your plush, wet lips to sink into your sloppy, velvety throat. “But you can take me, baby,” he pants. “Oooh, I know you can. Sluts like you feen for nasty shit like this.”
He begins to fuck your face, emitting squelching sounds from his wet cock constantly plunging into your throat as you gag around him. “Yeah, that’s it,” he moans in delight. “That’s what I like to hear. You just keep bein’ a good girl for me, baby.”
Your throat continues to make the most obscene, wet, and lewd sounds, the squelching and gagging possibly drifting throughout the bathroom and locker room rafters. The more Toji rails your face and plunges his cock into your throat, the louder the sounds become. His grunts and moans also grow louder, bouncing off of the tiled walls.
You can tell he is close from the way he grabs the back of your head, forcing your face closer until his balls are flush against your chin. “Fuck, you’re gonna make me cum!” he groans, his muscular, naked thighs tense as he fucks your mouth like he is trying to hit a home run. “C’mon, doll, take Daddy’s fuckin’ load.” He pauses, chuckling. “I mean take Santa’s load. You want a white Christmas, don’tcha?”
You can’t even answer. You can’t warn him either when the door to the bathroom suddenly opens just as Toji’s loud, guttural groan of release escapes his mouth. As the bathroom stall flies open, a load of Toji’s warm spunk floods your throat, filling your mouth to capacity. There is so much that it spills out of the corners of your mouth and down your chin.
“Fuck!” he moans, soft high-pitched hums leaving his lips as he slides his cock out of your mouth and pumps the rest of his cum onto your glasses. Droplets of spunk fly onto the lenses, fogging them up.
You can’t be more horrified by anything else when you turn and find Satoru standing there in his elf costume. He looks shocked to see you kneeling there before Toji with cum all over your mouth, glasses, and some on your tits with your pussy openly gushing through your panties on the floor. But once the shock subsides, a Cheshire Cat-like smile appears on his lips. “Oops,” he chuckles. “Guess I’m in the wrong bathroom.”
Toji laughs, sounding like a straight-up villain. “Nah, you’re in the right place. You’ve still got time left if ya wanna use it on her.” Satoru shuts the bathroom stall and you realize just how big it exactly is. Big enough for three people. “Shit,” he scoffs, a shit-eating grin on his face. “What else am I here for?”
Both men look down upon you like you’re no more than a dessert plate for consumption. Despite the ridiculous costumes, the duo remind you of villains. “Sorry to shock you, cutie, but he ain’t the only one you’ve got rock.” Satoru palms his hard cock pushing against his green pants. “I’ve been thinkin’ about those lips and these panties for hours.”
He kneels and forces you into a face-down, ass-up position, making you squeak in surprise. You have to cushion your cheek with your hands to avoid the nasty floor. When one of Satoru’s fingers slides against your pantyline, you gasp. “Oh! And she’s wet!” He tuts at you, giving your ass a harsh spank and groaning at the recoil. “Naughty little elf. What would Santa say?”
He takes your panties by the waistband and tugs them tight against your wet pussy, making you whimper at the friction. Toji chuckles, giving your ass his own harsh spank. “Santa’s says this little whore needs to be punished,” he whispers and it’s almost threatening to your ears.
And punish you, they do…in their own wicked, lewd, torturous way. Suddenly, you find yourself sitting on the toilet seat with your legs while Toji kneels between your thighs, slurping and licking away at your cunt while his thick finger fucks your hole. Satoru stands to your left, rutting his hips into your mouth, his long dick plunging in and out of your throat.
“Fuck, your mouth is so wet, honey,” he moans, palming one of your tits. “Shit, Toji, how much did you cum in here?” His handsome face is flushed and his blue eyes are desperate as he does his best to quiet his whimpers and whines over your sloppy throat.
Toji chuckles, his tongue piercing tickling your clit as he flicks the tip of his tongue against it, sending shocks of sensitivity and tingles of pleasure throughout your body. “Enough to make her throat slick enough to fuck.” Your pussy clenches around his finger, your velvety, slick walls tightening around his digit.
The older man looks up at you, smirking into your desperate, needy eyes. “Oooh, I tasted that gush. You like the sound of another throatpie for that slutty mouth, babydoll?” He dives back into your pussy, his tongue sloshing and slashing about, probing an answer out of you. “Mmm-hmph-mmm!” you whine around Satoru’s cock, your screams muffled by his constant fucking.
Toji chortles into your pussy, pulling away to regard Satoru with your slick all over his lips. “That’s a yes,” he chuckles. Satoru blushes, overcome with lust as he watches his long cock disappear between your soft, juicy lips. “F-Fuck, I hope so,” he whines, cupping your cheek. “Goddamn, cutie, you’re fucking mouth is….”
His words die into desperate moans as he continues to ram your throat like he’s trying hard to fill it with his babies. Your nostrils are full of the scent of his body wash and cologne, somehow acting as aphrodisiacs for you. “You sound even sluttier than her,” Toji chuckles. “I think she likes it though. Look at this sexy little bitch.”
Under their hot gazes, you feel like the slut they see: titties out, pussy exposed, and getting used in a bathroom stall. Satoru takes his cock out to lightly tap your tongue. “You like gettin’ this mouth fucked at work, slutty girl?” he teases.
Before you can even think of a reply, Toji hooks his finger up in a way that makes your eyes roll back. “O-Oh, fuck!” you moan, louder than you should’ve. Satoru quickly plugs your mouth back up with his cock, plunging deeper and deeper, making you take every inch. “Mmm, that’s a pretty face, cutie. Keep lookin’ at me like that.”
His blue eyes kick on yours, reminding you of oceans in the far-away Caribbean Islands, while he slips his cock out of your mouth. He grips your chin and whispers a fierce “C’mere” before his lips are slamming against yours.
As you kiss, Toji’s tongue moves faster, his moans traveling up to your core and sending vibrations through your clit. Satoru pulls away and spits in your mouth, the act so quick and surprising that you nearly miss it.
“Spit it back on my cock,” he demands and you do, making his cock shiny with your spit before he slides back in. After a few more sloppy thrusts that cause your glasses to wobble and spit to drip down your chest, he’s close. “Shit!” he gasps. “Fuck, fuck, fuck me, m’gonna cum! You’re gonna…fuck, baby!”
You are too. You can feel your pussy tightening, clenching, throbbing with the urge to release. “Mmmm!” you whine around his cock, your thighs trembling around Toji’s neck.
The security guard intensely stares at you, forcing you to cum with that damn finger crooked inside of you. “Give it to me,” he demands. “You know you fuckin’ want to. Go ‘head, babydoll.”
You can’t help yourself. You hush all around Toji’s cock just as Satoru loses the last thread of self control and cums deep in your mouth with a long, loud moan that no doubt attracts unwanted attention from the outside.
Another fat, creamy throatpie fills your mouth and streams down your throat, nearly making you choke. Satoru luckily pulls out, but only to jerk the last drops of spunk onto your tits and glasses, staining your skirt and top in the process.
As the last tendrils of pleasure course through you, Toji slurps you up and leaves your pussy twitching from his ministrations. As he sits back to sigh, Satoru releases a huff, exhausted but satisfied. “Oh, fuck,” he groans followed by a whistle. “That was amazing! Definitely needed for a shitty shift.”
Toji nods, his lips coated in you. “I concur,” he hums in pleasure. He leans up to get eye level with you and holds your chin in his hand. “C’mere, doll…taste yourself. This slutty pussy is just too good to not share.”
He smashes his lips against yours, pulling you in for a sloppy French kiss that steals your breath away. Jealous, Satoru yanks you away towards him.
“Save some for me,” he murmurs before he leans in to kiss you, softly moshing as he does. He then pulls away, kneels, and slurps the rest of you off of your open thighs despite your whimpers of agony. It hurts too good.
Ring-ring-ring!
You jump at the sudden sound. Satoru reaches into his back pocket to get his phone. “Uh-oh!” he mockingly announces. “That’s the timer. Break time is over.”
Toji begins to get dressed, zipping up his fly and tucking in his shirt. “We should probably clean her up. Poor baby looks like she can’t even walk.” He laughs at your expense, humored by your fucked-out, messy state.
Despite them both using your holes just now, the two dress and clean you up as much as possible. They pull your skirt down, fix your top, clean off your glasses, and smooth down your skirt.
Once finished, Toji passes you a napkin out of his pocket. “Wipe your mouth, babydoll,” he sniggers. “You don’t want people to ask what’s on your face…or glasses. Shit, we did a number on ya.”
He plants a sloppy, wet tongue kiss on your mouth, filling your tongue with the taste of your pussy and himself. “This was a lot of fun, sugar,” he says with a smirk. “Call me again if you need a worthwhile break, alright?”
You wordlessly stare at him, unable to form words…or even think them.
“Same here,” Satoru adds, flashing you a smile as he fixes his costume. “I’ll know who to go to for my little ‘problem’ next time.” He presses a kiss to your cheek before he and Toji head out of the stall back to work.
But Satoru stops and turns back to you, smirking. “Oh, and…”
He bends down and snatches up your red panties, tugging on the waistband with his teeth before stuffing them in his pocket.
“These are mine.”
He gives you a wink and blows you a kiss. “See ya out there!” he hollers before he disappears out of the bathroom with Toji, leaving you alone with your thoughts and regrets. But also supremely satisfied.
In the end, you’re late back to your shift.
THE END.
