Just finished relistening to MAG101, and my god Michael Shelley got done dirty. I really hope he comes back in Protocol because I NEED more of this poor, kind, naïve lad who wholeheartedly believed that Gertrude was a normal old lady who needed his help, whilst the whole time she was planning to kill him. Not only did he not suspect anything, but even after they landed in Antarctica and his mind started unravelling and all he could feel was pure, unbridled terror at this thing that can’t exist yet does, Michael still trusted Gertrude enough to walk through that door. Even after finding out she’d lied to him.
