November 15, 2024 - Anti-colonialist activists tore down a statue of Otto von Bismarck in Frankfurt, Germany, and covered it in anti-colonialist graffiti. The toppling came on the 140th anniversary of the start of the Berlin Conference, known as the Kongokonferenz in German, which is seen as emblematic of Europe’s 19th century colonisation of Africa. The Berlin Conference was organised by von Bismarck in 1884 at the request of Belgian King Leopold II, and is seen by historians as formalising how European powers would manage the conquest of Africa. anti-nazi graffiti mural in the city that's been untouched for a good decade has been vandalised with crude swastika graffiti. I don't like this...
#this coupled with the vandalised green party office windows and door with the right wing graffiti is making me uneasy#like COME ON we're a german town with its own deplorable history of atrocities carried out against its jewish citizens...#how can people just walk past all this without a reaction?????#if i had any access to spray paints or knowledge on how to use it i would try to cover up the swastikas asap idk...#idk what to do other than vote for the political party that's got the best chances of beating the far right...#scared for the jewish and muslim and ukrainian and black people living in this town...#there's just been an ever growing animosity and distrust of anyone who looks different from the white german norm...#hate it hate it hate it.....

In a post-apocalyptic world, a loyal German Shepherd sits amidst the ruins of what was once a bustling city. The old TV set flickers with static, a relic of a bygone era. Surrounded by discarded gadgets and remnants of human civilization, the dog remains vigilant, guarding what little remains. The vibrant colors of the graffiti on the weathered walls tell stories of a society lost to time. As the sun sets, casting an eerie glow through the dilapidated structures, the German Shepherd knows that in this new world, companionship and survival are all that matter.
