Merry Christmess (mullwashette)
Summary: This is why George can’t take these two anywhere. Prompt: ‘You haven't experienced the gift of Christmas until you lose all of your signif(s) at the mall.’ ‘That's a pity.’ ‘No, I pity the mall intercom announcing their stupidity.’ Author’s Notes:  This was prompted by PlagueBirbizzle on AO3 (y’all go check out their hamilton monster reincarnation au it is THE SHIT. good shit, my guys, good shit)
also yes, I know Christmas has passed. i wrote this during christmas time and am just now getting around to posting it. Also, I’m sorry it’s so short. My muse for writing has been… basically nonexistent. But I wanted to finish this because I didn’t want to keep anyone waiting longer than they have to.
George briefly pauses in the middle of a busy intersection of the mall, eyes darting between the heavily crowded walkways and his watch. He, Lafayette and Hercules had originally agreed to meet up at the food court to get a snack after a long day of Christmas shopping. However, after his two lovers ran into their friends, those plans had seemed to change—and now despite texting each of them what felt like far too many text messages, and having all of his calls go to voicemail, he can't find them.
When they'd arrived, Laf and Hercules had wanted to go Christmas shopping for him and each other. Of course, George didn't mind that at all—it gave him the chance to get the special presents that he'd been planning to buy for them for several months now.
And he'd got a good holiday discount price on the gorgeous wedding bands the jeweler had to offer. Happy Birthday, Jesus.
However, now he's resorted to searching around the vast mall for them. He'd been called into his office at the last minute—there had been a litany of public slanders against his name ever since the tabloids caught a photo of him, Hercules and Lafayette enjoying a date night, and the newest was  as well as several rumors that one of his significant others was a paid escort. Of course, it was nonsense, but that didn't mean he could let this rumor continue to circulate without addressing it. He needed to do a press conference, do some damage control. And he wanted—no, he needed Laf and Herc to be there. Needed the people to hear it from their mouths, too. This time, the election and whether or not he won was floating on his reputation, and he'd already lost a large amount of conservative votes when they'd been found out. He couldn't afford to lose the seat to Henry Laurens.
But they weren't answering, and he couldn't find them, and James Madison and Aaron Burr are absolutely no help.
“Maybe I can ask them to announce them from the intercom…” George hums in thought, having given up on finding them in the plethora of crowds and now changing his search to find a mall employee that wasn’t already busy assisting someone else.
"You haven't experienced the gift of Christmas until you lose all of your signifs at the mall,” James says, before taking a long obnoxious slurp from his iced coffee. George briefly looks over his shoulder to glare at him, while Aaron pipes up with:
"That's a pity. Awful way to experience the holidays."
"No, what's a pity is using the mall intercom to announce their stupidity,” James retorts, tossing the last of his coffee into the trash can. “They've probably gotten in trouble with mall security.”
“You two are useless,” George snaps in annoyance, though he's making his way to the first mall cop that he sees. The man is leaning boredly on his segway, typing away on his phone and ignoring the vast amounts of people that could be stealing anything from anywhere.
“Excuse me, sir,” the politician says, when he's within hearing distance. The man looks up, eyes drooping from exhaustion and annoyance, and quirks an eyebrow. “Do you happen to know where your security office is?”
“No, sir, I work there but have no clue of where it is,” the man—Jack, his name tag reads—deadpans, looking more and more fed up by the second. Behind him, James snickers and he can tell Aaron is attempting to hold back his own laughter.
“Can you take me there, please?” Washington asks through gritted teeth, ignoring them in favor of finding his signifs. Sighing, Jack powers up his segway and begins to move through the crowds — just barely slow enough that George and his inept entourage can keep up. Its a fairly long trek, a walk that George hopes is fruitful. The conference was in an hour, and they still needed to go home and change into something media worthy. He couldn't afford to waste time going into the very bowels of the mall, only to not find the two people he was looking for.
However, he strikes lucky. When Jack guides them into the small room that apparently acts as a holding cell, he finds his lovers and their friends sitting slightly bruised and bored on one side of the room while three security guards sit annoyed on the other side of them. Oh boy.
“What happened, here?” George asks, turning to the security officer that had apparently broken up whatever happened. He can tell it was him due to the large phallic shaped bruise on the side of his face.
“They were fightin’, sir. From what I can understand, they're obviously children—” the cop glares at his significant others and their merry band of idiots—all of whom have begun silently snickering to themselves. “—and they got into the erm… adult toys in a store and were fighting with each other like they were lightsabers.”
Lafayette chooses now to speak up, explaining with, “Alex started it! He bruised me, Papa, look!”
“Yeah, but he hit me back!” Alex snaps, thankfully glossing over the fact that Lafayette just called him ‘Daddy’. Hercules and Thomas seem to be thoroughly amused—though they seem to have joined in, as they're not exactly unmarked themselves. George sighs for what seemed to be the billionth time that afternoon.
“Can I at least take them home?”
“Sure. But they're banned from that particular store.”
Pinching the bridge of his nose, George let's out one final exasperated sigh. At least this wasn’t getting out to the media.
“Of course they are.”

Washington: Alexander is the son I’ve always wanted. I love him like he is my own.
Lafayette: *standing behind Washington, holding a handmade ‘#1 Dad’ mug, trying not to cry* I hope you two are very happy together.
Later
Mulligan: I told you the mug was too much.
Lafayette: You’re too much!

Fighting For Freedom (Hamilsquad x Reader)
A/N: Here is yet another request! This one was for the reader helping Thomas convince Alexander to help France and the reader is french, and they argue with Alexander. I hope I did okay anon, and I hope you enjoy it! As always I’m sending you all lots of love!
.
.
.
“Alex, you must realize we have to help France in their fight for freedom.”
You try to implore him. France had allied and helped this new nation fight for freedom, it was only right they do the same.
“We don’t have to do anything, they may have helped us fight, but we won our freedom and were not nearly strong enough to join their fight.”
“You won your independence because they aided the nation, Alexander.”
Alex turns to answer you, looking frustrated by your insistence, but he’s interrupted before he has a chance to speak.
“I see you’re trying to get through that thick skull of his as well,” Thomas chimes in looking annoyed. “I hope you at least attempt to listen to (Y/N), as you most certainly didn’t listen to my reasoning.”
“I would listen to you if you weren’t so pigheaded to begin with,” Alex nearly snarls.
“Alexander!” You grab his arm to pull his attention back to you. “We have to help France it’s the right thing to do.”
“That’s debatable.” He nearly shrugs.
“You can’t be so cold! They helped when they didn’t have to, they could have let us fail.”
“Please, they wanted to be free from the monarchy just as much as we did, they made their choice.”
“They made their choice with a treaty!”
“That’s easily dealt with.”
“Alex you have to convince President Washington to help,” you keep your hold on him, making him look at you.
He seems to soften a little and you think maybe you’re changing his mind.
“I’ve already made my stance clear, I can’t change it now.”
“But you can, you can. Just go into his office and tell him you’ve changed your mind, you’ve thought of something else, you think”-
He pulls his arm out your grip.
“I will not,” He looks at you sternly, grabbing your arm and pulling you aside. “I have made my opinion clear and it has not changed.”
“Alex,” you look up at him imploringly, “what about Lafayette?”
“Yes, what about Lafayette, Hamilton?” Jefferson chimes in again, further frustrating Alexander.
“Lafayette is very intelligent he can handle myself.”
“Please, Alex, do it for him, for me.”
His eyes soften for you once more.
“We cannot put our entire nation at risk for two people.”
“It would be for freedom, that’s what this nation is built on.”
“And we’ve already won our freedom.”
You reel back from him, ripping your arm from his grip.
“How can you be so cruel and selfish?”
“It’s not being cruel, it’s being rational.”
“Fine,” you huff, “if you won’t talk to President Washington, then I will.”
He takes hold of your arm again.
“You will do nothing of the sort.”
“Let her Hamilton,” Thomas intervenes, “if you’re so sure of your point, why would her speaking to him change anything.” He chuckles. “Unless, you know you’re wrong.”
“I know I’m right,” Alex bites back.
You snatch your arm from his grip once more, marching towards Washington's office. Alex and Thomas both follow quickly behind you. Just as you reach up to knock on the door, he exits his office. He nods at you and then looks to Alexander.
“Mr. President,” you rush to say, “may I have a moment of your time to speak about aiding France.”
“My apologies, Ms. (Y/N), but I have already made my decision and will not have it debated further.”
“And your decision, sir?” Alex inquires.
“Draft a statement of neutrality,” he nods solemnly at him and pats your shoulder before turning back to his office.
“Well, like always you’ve gotten what you wanted,” Thomas says as he leaves.
Alex rolls his eyes and turns to you.
“I know you’re upset right now, but in time you’ll see this is best course of action for”-
“I’m not upset,” you reply stepping away from his touch, “you’ve made your choice and I’ve made my own.”
“What, exactly does that mean?”
“It means you may not be willing to do what it takes to aide France, but I am.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“It means I’m going to France as soon as possible.”
“You can’t go to France, it’s far too precarious.” He takes hold you once more.
“I cannot stay here and sit around when my people are in such dire need of help.” You pull out of his grip for the last time. “I may only be one person, but I will do anything I can for them.”
“You have to stay,” he follows as you step away, “you belong here, your place is here.”
You halt your steps and turn back to him.
“Not anymore.” You walk away without another glance back.
 .    .    .    .     .    .    .    .    .    .    .    .    .    .    .    .     .    .    .    .   .   .   .   .   .
You wait at the dock for the boat with Hercules by your side. Both of you had packed what you needed. When you had told John and Herc what had happened, and what you planned on doing. Herc had immediately offered to accompany you. You told John to stay when he had offered his own company.
“You have to be here for Alexander.” He only nodded his head.
The boat had finally arrived, and you and Hercules prepared to board.
“(Y/N)! (Y/N)!”
You heard your name being called, you turned to see Alex making his way towards you.
“Please, reconsider,” he begs. “Don’t go.”
“I can’t, in good conscience, stay here when I know what's happening in France and who’s there fighting with everything he can.” You place your hand in his and give a gentle squeeze. “Lafayette needs help, France needs help, and I couldn’t live with myself if I did nothing.”
He has no words for you, his eyes beg you and his grip tightens on your hand.
“Goodbye, Alexander.”
John quickly embraces you and holds you tightly.
“Please, be careful.”
“I’ll write as soon as I can,” you promise as you squeeze him just as tightly.
He releases you and you turn to Hercules.
“Ready?” He asks.
You turn with a small smile and nod. “Ready.”
You interlock your arms and board the boat, ready to do aide your home and your friend.

Ok but i am looking for what the group (Laurence, alex, laf, hercueles maybe burr, Madison, jeffreson and wasingmachine) would do on Crihtmas
(I don’t know how long this has been in my inbox but thanks for being patient either way anon)
Alex: He would definitely try to get away with working in his office non stop but eventually would be forcefully dragged into whatever Christmas celebration the others were doing. He would try and pretend he didn’t like any of it but he secretly enjoys it all though he also internally wishes he could still be in his office working
Laurens: He’s pretty calm compared to the others when celebrating. He’ll join whatever the others are doing but never anything TOO extravagant. He’s always up for some good old fashioned Christmas cooking. He usually wins any gingerbread house contest that was made.
Lafayette: This is where the crazy gets crazy. He will do anything from singing Christmas carols to lighting fireworks in the middle of the night. He’s the most cheery and enthusiastic about anything and everything that is to be done about Christmas. He’s always the one who plans out the contests and how they will spend the holiday.
Hercules: He’s the one who will do all the work that goes into putting one of the many plans that Lafayette has into action, yet he never complains. He quite enjoys doing it and watching how something small can turn into something big and beautiful. Some of his favorites include putting up the Christmas tree and lights.
Burr: He enjoys the whole holiday as long as no one makes him do anything. He likes doing things out of his own free will. He’ll do some of the more quiet traditions and can be found chilling with Madison in the corner with a nice hot cup of chocolate.
Jefferson: He always tries to make the holidays a bit different and unique. He never quite does the same thing from year to year. It’s always different. He’s established his own traditions some of which include shopping for the most unmatched Christmas pajamas that can be found and seeing who can decorate their part of the house the fastest.
Madison: He would love Christmas but the only thing is that he always manages to get sick during this time of the year and it kinda ruins the whole thing for him. He is banned from the kitchen as cooking for the others could get them sick. He can’t really do much so he usually just chills with Burr, which he’s fine with. His favorite part is sitting by the fireplace sipping hot chocolate while watching Christmas movies.
Washington: It’s mostly stressful for him but in the end he can look back and say he had a good time. He always tries to get everyone the perfect gift and it’s one of the things that stresses him out the most. He honestly just loves seeing the others so happy because it gives him such joy.
N: Wow I’m just now realizing how much I wrote, I guess I got carried away but thanks for the ask anon, I enjoyed writing it :)
