the FL MtG cards are here!

this is like my fourth batch, but i haven't posted any of the previous ones, so let me show off some of the cards from all the batches!

briar and his three mr stoneses! these are the face commanders of the deck. there are alternate commanders that you'll see later, but this is the pair that i like using the most often.

more masters! (and bazaar-aligned entities). all the masters in the deck are vampires, and they also all have the seal of the bazaar as a watermark. just a neat bit of visual clarity, i think!

ocs! incuding mine. not all of them will be able to make it into the deck proper (for deck size and colour identity reasons) but i'm still so happy to have them all.

basic lands: seven of each. these gave me so much hassle back when i made them, but i think they turned out well!!! apart from the edge mountains which are like 70% black.

more lands! a triplet of creatureland which i feel work very well. the rest of them are neat too. whenever i say i have an underground sea proxy in the deck, people give me a Look, but how could i not! it's a perfect fit.

dfcs! the frames of these all had to be done by hand, which always took a while. i still think they turned out incredibly well, all things considered.

more creatures!! some legendary, some not. i made the decision pretty early that if i represent a named character with a nonlegendary card, i'd just cut the "the" from the name (see sallow spirifer and voracious diplomat). i think it works!

and noncreatures!! there's a vague treasure theme in the deck (as can be seen in the fall of london, revel in riches and spirifage (as well as a lot of the creatures)) but honestly most of the cards are flavour picks. still, artificial evolution has gotten me out of some jams. fun card!

aaaand tokens! which is everything. i reckon when i play this deck properly, i'll report back any fun scrapes that anyone's characters get into. like getting turned into a bug, or killing the god of death.

Meet Njord the Crow Elytrian!

(Basically my sona in this wack as all hell story and world i am trying to create.)

Name: Njord

Age: 22 (at the start of the main story)

Height: 5'3

Species: Crow(?)

Pronouns: He/Him They/Them

Sexuallity: Pan

LORE: (age 7) adopted by his godmother, Queen Polaris, and she raises him to enjoy art and education, but Njord still had a fascination with the history and the different species and cultures of the Emerald Isles.

This fascination would lead to Njord (age 15) meeting Ajax (who can control and generate amethyst, geode stuffs, dripstone) in kind of a trade school and then after they completed school they both join a year long research project to document the fauna, species, cultures and history of the Emerald Isles.

At some point Njord (Age 17) and Ajax both realize that the feelings they have for each other were no longer platonic and romantic but, before they both could confess, they're sent to intersept a Witherian and a Crimson Piglin who possess an odd Nether Star, which the Redstonians/ Tinkers Guild wants in their "safe" hands.

After a long battle scene on the outskirts of a small village, Ajax gets fatality hit and Njord rushs to his aid and with the last bit of his strength, Ajax puts his hand, covered in forming amethyst, on Njord's cheek and says "I love you my little feat-th-th-r-." as his hand falls to the ground the amethyst on Njord's face shatters leaving the purple scar on his face. And in this moment, Njord realizes that they where send to die.

Njord feels the firey rage in his heart bleed up to the surface, where there was wind magic there is now fire, as Njord rushs and kills the Piglin who dealt the blow on Ajax then, before finishing off the Witherian, the Witherian sticks their claws into Njord's arm and starts to cast a soul swap spell but, Njord kills the Witherian before it's complete, now the Witherian's soul is also in Njord's body (giving Njord the Soul wind/fire abilities).

To stop the wither effect from spreading, Njord cuts off the affected arm and takes the Nether Star to not let the Tinkers Guild get it. He tries to get to safety but, is stopped by an old mentor on the same mission and tries to get the Nether Star, but Njord explains the truth to her and she let's them go.

After flying for what feels like days, Njord crash lands into the home of a Beefolk who takes care of them for like 4 months and in the process of that, the Beefolk realizes that they're trans and Njord helps Jade to transform and stuff to try and return the favor of saving their life, and THEN they both fall for each other after helping one another through their lowest points.

Then, Njord (19) meets a forgeman and teaches em to forge weapons and how the making of a weapon is a sacred thing, then Njord uses the skills from the time at the Tinkers Guild to make a new arm powered by Soul Quartz. The blacksmith mentor passes away, then Njord creates a sword to protect the thing he cares for.

3. PROJECT GEODE: Mockt

Edgy ass Milo Murphy's Law OC but only in his backstory! He works under Mr. Block to keep the timeline nice and healthy, but due to encounters with Milo or Martin, always ends up shutting down or experiencing errors that he can't diagnose! I need to start rewriting episodes so they can include him. I'd love to see him drawn with any of the MML cast, especially in the pistachio missions!

4. Mal / Emblem

Back when I was super into marvel! I can never draw reference sheets for them properly smh.... I'd love to see art of them with Bucky, Peter (Quill or Parker!), or Tony!

I found an amethyst geode while I was playing Minecraft and wondered if Bug Purple would like being in one. It possibly would be too dangerous for a lil bug to be down that far but I decided it’d be fun to draw bug Purple and Green in an amethyst geode.

Purple would probably like the ringing noises the amethyst blocks make and might even sing along too (which would be adorable).

Warning, long post

Geode was made originally by a nameless mad scientist that used the robotniks as inspiration, Shadow's existence especially. Geode's intended purpose was to be a being of such raw, unrivaled power that nothing could stop him.

The TRUE ultimate lifeform, as he was called in the process of being made. He was supposed to be a weapon, a monster made from Sonic, Shadow, and something else's DNA.

But that kinda went prftt because Rouge, working with GUN, found out abt the suspected projected and sent Shadow to check it out and bam he found the little guy.

Not really knowing what else there was to be done, Geode (regardless of boom or in general) ends up being primarily raised by Shadow even if he "shares custody" with Sonic via just...dropping him off randomly when he wants to.

I've drawn Geode when he's just Tails's age bc I originally planned to focus on his life while he was that age buuut I plan to draw Geode's teen design now.

Geode's abilities are super speed, super strength, and being much more compatible with magical energies like the chaos emeralds. He can tap into energies or give energy but only if he already has it- like carrying a bucket.

Issue is, his powers are unstable and needs special inhibitor rings because his speed and strength aren't consistent. Without the rings he can't tell if just a step will send him miles away, if knocking on a door will take the wall down, if attempting to run will be slow, or if an attempt to punch metal will do nothing but hurt himself.

The rings keep it at a consistent level rather than actually lowering or amping up something.

His ability to sense energies is stable though but always going at a mild level. He can intentionally enhance it if he focuses on something. At his basic level, he can just see the faint aura of people's souls (for a lack of better words), he knows where anyone in a 10 ft radius is.

Plants look brighter and kind of sparkly to him. And he can see any soul energies that... hasn't dispersed too, ghosts if you will. They look...different to him.

Living thing's auras is usually centered at their chest for him and makes their eye colors seem clearer, but ghosts? It's their entire body. It's strange to him.

not sure which specific ARPG (Art Role-Playing Game) this ask is referring to, since I'm currently in a few of those, but here's a little list :3

Geodes of Veracity (toyhouse) is a pokémon mystery dungeon inspired art game with, like, different traits that alter a pokémon's type and appearance. The group is in an invite-only beta phase of sorts.

Cats United (discord) is a Warrior Cats inspired art game that focuses on building your own Clan. It is open to new members, but not very active at the moment.

Okay, so I'm going to start out by explaining my WIP a bit. WIPs to me are absolutely anything I am working on in any way shape or form, which means finished items that need editing or simply haven't been published all the way down to things still in the conceptual stage. And, uh, my WIP folder is *huge*, so big that I've made a folder outside of it for my Krystar stuff, which is all technically WIPs, so... Here we go.
