Hey 9wing!! Hello and I hope you're doing well <3
I've seen a couple of your posts mentioning this sort of sentiment and now I'm genuinely asking with curiosity; how would one think that Kaylor is a romantic love story?
No doubt, the songs are amazing masterpieces, the long-term perseverance is admirable and there are certainly many aspects of Kaylor that are poetic and remind me of the magic of 'soulmates,' whether that is practically real or not
However, even as a third party observer who has no stakes in this, I find it bleak and tiring sometimes
Constant backlash and scrutiny from the media, the people and most often your own fans; having to communicate in cryptic language; having to engage in unpleasant PR stunts; having to hide a central part of yourself just to survive in this world; not having the liberty to be yourself and love whomever you love loudly and proudly; being constantly misunderstood by a large fraction of the world; being loved but not seen; living in uncertainty about your own rights and freedom when the political climate's so unstable
I understand that life is not without problems and sometimes you have to do what you have to do with whatever choices are at your disposal. And these two will always have my support, and I make sure to respect my own mental health and step away from this site of the internet when things get too much
But how would one see the beauty in this? The light in the darkness? I would love to know and hear your and other's perspectives and what keeps you optimistic despite it all. Thank you and good day
i would love to hear from others!
i think that everyone will have their own definitions of beauty or romance, so i understand where you are coming from, and your impressions are valid for you!
for me, there are aspects of their story that i just cannot find in other places in the world, and it’s always been something that brings me opportunities reflect on my own life and life philosophy.
i think that there is something to be said for the amount of unconditional love that they show one another that appears when picking haven for one another at the risk of their reputations. i recognize that it probably doesn’t look that way for many people but from my perspective, it’s how i see it. there is something singularly authentic about it to me. as a enneagram type 9 (where my username comes from), i gravitate to the concept of holy love like a moth to a flame, and the dynamic of seeing taylor push her lovers away all her life and then meeting karlie and being inspired by karlie but still fighting doubt and ultimately trying to push her away only for karlie to vehemently refuse to leave is just.. something that really speaks to me. it sort of embodies the human struggle not just to give love but to accept love. i’m not sure if i’m explaining it well but there is so much depth to the love that she writes about in these albums, separate from the heavy external factors that have shaped their story.
but for me, those external factors only work to heighten my interest and appreciation for their journey. in my career i’ve done a lot of executive coaching work and study in leadership theory and i find the study of defining moments (sometimes called crucible moments) incredibly interesting and for taylor and karlie, at the top of their game, the stakes could not be higher and their navigation of everything is very interesting to me.
and i think that the struggle is a part of the beauty because i don’t always find easy things beautiful, and by that i don’t mean that pain is beauty in some voyeuristic way but that success after pain feels more spectacular than success without struggle.
if you are a fan of literature or philosophy, i would recommend the seminal work of junichiro tanizaki called “in praise of shadows” — there’s a fairly well known concept in japan called wabi-sabi which is the idea that true beauty is found in the transient and the fleeting. that a falling cherry blossom is more beautiful than a tree in full bloom, or that cracks in pottery ought be to celebrated (there a tradition in japan of fixing cracks in ceramics with gold called kintsugi). tanizaki’s writing is very formative to this concept and it’s something that has giving me a heightened appreciation for things with complication and age.

So far of reading your writing, I really love it! :)) May I request Kunikida, Dazai and Ranpo having an younger member of the agency being a sort of subordinate of them but acts a lot like a younger sibling to them? She's just really pure hearted and soft and really looks up to them so she likes helping them out a lot. Just some fluff because my boys deserve all love and affection
Awww thank you so much for the compliment!! This request is so cute, and yes, all the boys deserve all the love and affection that is possible cause they go through too much 😭 Anon requested this as platonic, and reader is gender neutral. Also, I wasn’t too sure what the age should be, so I went with Kyoka’s age, which is 14. Hope you enjoy!
TW: Mentions of suicide in Dazai’s part, but nothing too heavy or specific is mentioned. It does get kinda sad though, but it has a happy ending. Also, slight spoiler for season 2/Dark Era Arc, but nothing too major
Young ADA Member Acting like a Younger Sibling to: Kunikida, Dazai, and Ranpo
Kunikida
Okay, so when you first started at the office, people (specifically Naomi and Junichiro) were nervous when you got paired up with Kunikida. And Kunikida isn’t a bad man by any means, but he can be very, very, very strict
And how well do rules stick with kids/younger people? Exactly. It just sounded like a bomb waiting to explode
And you look so soft and so sweet! What if he made you cry?!
Which Naomi threatened to draw blood if he did
Even Kunikida himself was nervous. This was not written in his notebook to be a glorified babysitter!
But the President insisted, putting faith into you that you’ll be a great addition to the team and that he can lead you on the right path and not into trouble like some people he won’t mention (Dazai)
That was all that he needed to hear, and he took those words very serious. He won’t let the President down, and he wasn’t going to let you down either. You guys were gonna give it your all, whether you were ready to or not
But, to everyone’s surprise (really his) you both adapted well. You treated him with respect, said yes sir, no sir, tidied up both of your desks (which were right next to each other), you even tried to abide by his stern schedule without any complaints
You were a great help on missions too, you didn’t recklessly throw yourself into danger, and you made sure to look out for citizens to keep them safe and out of danger
And that wasn’t it, oh no
You made sure to bring him snacks (atleast the ones that he said were ideal), made sure that he was keeping hydrated and not tensed up all the time (working in this office will do that to you), and to make his workload as light as possible
After seeing him go off on Dazai for the 1000th time and getting wound up over a case that wasn’t getting any leads, you saw how stressed and frustrated he was getting. Mumbling to himself about how could he “replace the President if he couldn’t do this right”So you tapped on your shoulder, with one goal in mind: To comfort him
When you tapped his shoulder, he turned and yelled, “WHAT NOW?!”, right into your face
Time stood still as everyone froze, shocked. Even Kunikida himself after he saw it was you.
He felt immediately guilty, about to apologize for losing his cool when you began speaking
“Mr. Kunikida, please don’t stress too much. It’s not good for your heart! And don’t let this one thing stop you! You’re a great leader, and someone that I look up to. I wouldn’t be where I was at now without you! So please don’t doubt yourself, because we don’t, especially me! You’re my role model, Mr. Kunikida. Please, don’t ever forget that.”
After that, it was like a flip switched in him
“(Y/N), come here and walk very slowly.”
You did so with no hesitation, but you were curious
“Your shoe is untied. Here, let me tie it for you. It wouldn’t be ideal if you get injured because of a lousy shoelace. It wouldn’t be ideal if you got injured at all.”
“(Y/N), we have lunch scheduled at exactly 12:15. They’re also serving your favorite today, so we can’t be late, understand?”
“Yes sir!”, you said with a smile
“(Y/N), let’s go. It’s getting dark and if you still want to see that dreaded light show, we have to leave in 20 seconds to make it! I don’t want to see you sad or hear you complain if we miss it.”
“Coming sir! Just finishing up some work for tomorrow-“
“I already have it written in my notebook on when it will be done, so we can go.”
“Here you go Mr. Kunikida, I already typed up and printed out the reports for later on!”
“Thanks kid. And you don’t have to keep calling me Mister okay? Kunikida is fine.”
Dead silent in the office
KUNIKIDA is letting someone way younger than him just call him KUNIKIDA? Not MR.KUNIKIDA???
Everyone is, realistically, shook
But as time went on, they understood why
He came to look after you as his own
The entire ADA would have never thought the day would come (it wasn’t even in the notebook!) where he would care for a kid like his little sibling but here it was, right in front of their faces
But they weren’t complaining at all. You seemed to make his day a little brighter, and he wasn’t as uptight as much (but don’t be mistaken he was still Kunikida, just at an 8 instead of a whole 10)
After that mini pep talk that fateful day, he made it his duty to be a good role model for you. To always set a good example, both in and out the office.
He wouldn’t fail you, and he would be damned if he let anything happen to you
You’re a good kid, and you only deserve the best. And he was gonna be the best role model (and brother) for you
Dazai
Aw man, he was..conflicted to say the least
Listen, it’s not like he hates kids or teens, but it’s just extra responsibilities to watch over them. And he already slacks off enough to begin with, so is this really a good idea sticking a 14 year-old with him?
And lowkey, the way that he treated Akutagawa is still heavy on his mind, and he doesn’t want a repeat
But the President made it so, and Kunikida was ready to attack if he even thought about denying the order. Plus, it could be like another Atsushi around (another person to pass work off too) so that was a win!
And another person to annoy Kunikida too
You looked so pure and innocent. Are you sure that you’re in the right place?
He genuinely thought you were a lost kid when you came up to him the first time lmao
Geez, you even sound sweet too! How has this world not damage or corrupt you yet?
“Hi Mr. Dazai! It’s nice to meet you. I hope that we can make a great team, and that I’m here to help if you need anything!”
“Nice to meet you too. And now that you mention it, these reports have been giving me a hard time...”
Not gonna lie, he did take advantage of your help. You offered, so why not? He thought you were gonna get sick of it soon and start complaining, but nope
You took his reports and did it with no hesitation every time. And you always handed it to him with a bright smile. On top of that, you always cleaned up his area and behind him, you did any leftover work that he ignored forgot to do so that he wouldn’t get yelled at, and tried to bring him small snacks and even packed a whole lunch for him when you noticed that he didn’t eat a lot
He even started to feel pretty bad and he was getting disapproving looks from his fellow detectives (even Kenji, and he never frowns)
So he started to take back and *GASP* actually do his work?!
But you stopped him, and told him that he should, “Take it easy! You work hard enough as it is saving the city. It’s no problem doing these reports, and I want to help you in any way I can, Mr. Dazai.”
“(Y/N), don’t worry, I can do them. And remember it’s just Dazai, calling me Mister makes me feel old like Kunikida-”
“I HEARD THAT!”
And it seemed like you really cared for his wellbeing, especially when you had to accompany him on missions
Well, it just so happen that while you were going with Atsushi to find Dazai to start a mission, you both found him
Hanging upside down, sinking to the bottom of the lake
You rushed into the water immediately, pulling him out and onto the ground while Atsushi was just standing there in disbelief
Atsushi is so done with his shit
“Dazai, can you hear me?! Dazai?! Atsushi, I gotta give him CPR I don’t think he’s-”
“(Y/N) don’t worry he’s okay! This isn’t his first time he’s done this, and probably not the last.”
“W-what do you mean?”
Oh
Oh
You didn’t know about Dazai’s suicide methods? Did he not tell you or talk about it in front of you? Atsushi would have been somewhat proud of him if this whole situation didn’t happen, but here we are
“Geez, guess this method isn’t for me. It seems like someone is bound to always inter- hm, (Y/N)? What are doing out of the office? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”
You hugged his chest tightly, not caring that he was practically soaked down to the bone
“Please stop, Dazai! Why are you doing this? Why are you trying to leave everyone?! Why are you trying to leave ME?!”
That got his attention
“Your life is important, Dazai, too important to try and end it on your own terms! You’re special to me, I look up to you. You’re smart, funny, and you help everyone out in your own special way. If you weren’t here anymore, everyone would be so lost...I would be so lost..,I-I-I wouldn’t know what to do-”
“(Y/N)-”
You looked up, eyes red and puffy with tears rolling down your cheeks, but filled with determination
“I promise you that I will make sure you know how much you matter to everyone. I swear on my life that I will.”
Okay, so you know how you were helpful/adorable before? On a scale of 1-10, you were definitely at an 11. But Dazai felt like you were at a 20
At first, he thought that you weren’t being genuine. You were just a young kid who didn’t know any better and was just trying to do your job, in sickeningly, oversweet way. I mean, who would really care about him with his horrid past? He was convinced that you were just naïve, and that the world would swallow you whole when it gets the chance. And it made him feel pity for you
But you proved him wrong
You weren’t just some ignorant child. You were in this agency working alongside him for a reason. And you reminded him of that everyday when he saw you working, handling the cases, taking actions on missions, all the while being kindhearted through and through
You especially went out of way for him, and it was both a warm and scary feeling. People that he ended up caring for shared an undeserving fate, and he blamed himself for it constantly. So he tried to keep his distance, for your safety. You still had a life to live, and he didn’t want to ruin that for you.
But it was kinda hard to when you work together, and with you constantly being under his wing trying to show him the good in life and the difference that he made, he couldn’t help but admit it
You proved him wrong, and not a lot of people can say that.
You went out of your way to make sure that everyone was okay, mentally and physically. He didn’t want to admit it, but you made the office (and his life) a little bit more bearable when you were around. You’re a good kid. And it was so fun to rope you and sometimes Atsushi into his schemes lmao y’all can be so gullible sometimes
Unfortunately, he still planned to leave this world, but he tried not to talk about it in front of or around you, and his number of attempts did dwindle, so that was a good thing
“Hey (Y/N), let’s grab something to eat, I would be a terrible person if I let my dear little baby assistant go hungry.”
“Dazai, if you’re hungry, you can just say that. I don’t mind finishing this later. It’s good to eat when you need to, and your health is #1 priority!”
He couldn’t take back his past and the way he abused Akutagawa, but he could certainly make sure that he doesn’t make the same mistakes
And that would start with being a decent role model for you. He won’t exactly be a “model citizen”, but he will always do the right thing. He’s turned over a new leaf by turning to the light, and while his methods aren’t always legal, he won’t stray from it again
And he won’t let you stray either
Ranpo
He was not a happy camper at all, let me tell you
Hello, do you know who he is?? He’s the greatest detective in the world! Why would the President think he need a sidekick?! He saw you working under him as an insult. Were they trying to say that he wasn’t good enough on his own?!
You weren’t exactly welcome with open arms, but that was okay! You were a complete stranger to him, but you were hoping that would change overtime
And Fukuzawa offered to praise him if he took you in so he stopped pouting momentarily
“Hi Mr. Ranpo! I’ve heard great things about you, and I hope that we can get along!”
“Well, of course you’ve heard great things about me, I’m the greatest detective in the world! It would be a crime if you didn’t hear about me.”
It was a rocky start between you guys to say the least. Not only was he lazy with the work he already had (I mean, it was too easy for him), but you were always willing to complete it (which you did, when you realized that maybe he was too tired or had other important things to worry about)
Who are you trying to fool, this man was just being lazy
But you either didn’t realize it or you just purposely ignored it to get it done for the sake of the agency. Bless your pure heart for putting up with that poutyface
Despite that, you handled everything with positivity and pride. When discussing cases (even though he would solve it in under a minute), you already had the reports ready to go, took notes for him, and you even tidied up his desk (which really consisted of his snack pile)
And you were starting to grow on him. You were like his mini cheerleader/#1 fan. His ego was going through the roof
On missions, it was a piece of cake for him, duh! With his ability, Super Deduction, it was always easy. And you were in the background, in awe with everything going on. He wanted to say he was surprised, but he would be lying. It would be a downright lie if you said you weren’t impressed with his ability and with him in general.
You repeatedly praised him, and he always gave you the same response:
“World’s greatest detective, remember?”
The one thing that would cause him to see you in a new light, was when he got lost. You remembered Kunikida mentioning that he wasn’t the best at navigating the train system
He really said that Ranpo didn’t even know how to read the schedule, and that someone had to always walk with him to make sure he was going to the right places.
He just wanted to go back to the office to his beloved snacks, when this happened. He wasn’t stupid by any means, but it was a waste to use his ability on something trivial as this-
“Mr. Ranpo! Wait for me!”
Just as he knew, you were running late meeting him
“Hey (Y/N) what took you so long?! My beloved snacks are calling for me back at the agency, and I need to answer-”
“Don’t worry, I packed you some!”
“Yeah, I already knew that since that’s the reason you’re late. And before you ask, you look out of breath, the receipt is still crumpled in your hand, and I see some crumbs from something you already ate on your clothes.”
Huh. Was it that obvious? You guess so...
Or maybe Ranpo really is the world’s greatest detective!
“I know, I know. I’m the best, no need to tell-”‘
“Mr. Ranpo, you deserve all the praise that you get. You’re someone I want to be like when I get older.”
“Hm?”, there you go praising him again, but you were crying
“I feel like people don’t take you seriously like they should, Just because you don't fight like the others doesn’t mean that you’re not a valuable asset to the group! And I wish people saw you like how I do! You’re my inspiration to do my best everyday. And I know that I can’t be the best detective, but I want to be as strong and intelligent and brave just like you so I can save people and be a motivating hero like you!”
He’s silent, and your words are sinking in. You’re wiping away your tears, the start of an apology on the tip of your tongue, when he suddenly put his hand on top of your head
He’s staring right at you, glasses on and green eyes open for you to see
“You’re already on your way there (Y/N). That I know. And I’m never wrong with my deductions, let alone when using my ability.”
The flood gates have OPENED
You know that he doesn’t technically have an ability, but that doesn’t stop you from accepting his words and finding them as the truth. If Ranpo said it, he meant it. He was the world’s greatest detective, and you didn’t have any doubt in him
“Now let’s go, it’s going to start raining and I don’t want us to be hungry and drenched. Plus, Kunikida is totally freaking out and thinking that we’re both lost and in some criminal’s hideout right now.”
After that fateful day, the dynamic shifted between you two. Instead of you just doing the work, he pushed it off on someone else so he could explain to you about the different cases he had to solve, and other detective matters
Really he was just bragging and having you both slack off, but it didn’t matter you guys were still having fun
It even got to a point where he shared some snacks with you from his sacred snack pile
BOY WAS THAT THE TALK OF THE OFFICE
All in all, while he knew that you couldn’t be the greatest detective (that was his title after all), he would help you get to your goal regardless. Not that you would need a lot of extra help, he was watching over you after all, and you already have a good head on your shoulders along with the heart of a hero
Every Sherlock needs a Watson, and he deducted that it wasn’t too bad having you by his side

Random relationship (and just general stuff) headcanons for the ADA squad!!
Atsushi Nakajima 🐯
Soft boi
Smells like strawberries and vanilla
Don't question me on this, he just does
Also probably adores eating strawberries and vanilla, alongside ice cream and anything sweet really, but like, in moderation (it's gotta be a soft food tho)
He also likes fruits and veggies
A healthy boi
His ideal date would be sightseeing, just walking around town with his s/o and admiring the scenery
Would try to be really cheesy and say something like "you're prettier than any location we've been to" but he'd get too embarrassed halfway through so it would just come out as a stammering mess
He's adorable tho, you love him
When sleeping, if you sleep in one bed, he'd legit be like a big cat (no pun intended)
He'd be so warm, and his arms would be wrapped around you in a soft embrace
Prone to having nightmares so please comfort him
Ozamu Dazai 💀
The literal opposite of a soft boi
What I mean by this is that he's a straight up f-boy
Don't @ me, it's official; he's left every woman he's ever been with crying
But don't worry, once he gets attached to you, he'd be all giddy and happy whenever you even exist around him
My dude adores coffee (+ alcohol!)
Doesn't really eat much (please force him to eat more) but he's a sucker for sweets (I feel like he'd be really picky tho, like "no this brand of chocolate is absolute garbage I only eat the finest *insert niche brand literally no one has EVER heard of*"
We love him for it
He'd also really be into salty snacks, anything that has a crunch to it really
Did I mention that he smells like washed out Cologne mixed with his natural scent (+ the most recent way he tried to commit not-living)
His ideal date would be a coffee-date
He knows it's not much but that's where he feels the most relaxed and happy, so he wants you to experience that with him as well
Unlike Atsushi, this boy can FLIRT
Expect a cheesy remark every few seconds
It comes to the point where it's actually kinda annoying
Once you start firing it back at him (it's gotta be something sincere tho) he'd be flustered and kinda flabbergasted
Is also prone to nightmares, but don't expect to see this side of him unless he REALLY really trusts you
Kunikida Doppo 📚
Stoic boi
Idk how to explain this but I feel like the 🗿 emoji really represents him
Also he smells the most normal out of everyone ㅡ literally just some kinda nice perfume and neutral, washed out shampoo (by neutral I mean that you can't really identify what it is, but it's nice)
I feel like he'd be warm
Like not to Atsushi's level, but he'd be a good heat provider if it ever gets windy or rainy
Not to mention how comforting his hugs are, although, extremely awkward (he's so inexperienced with them Lord help him)
Also a sucker for coffee but that's because it's the only thing keeping him sane (and awake, Kunikida go to bed challenge)
He's a really good cook
Like it surprises you how many dishes he actually knows how to make, given how much time his work occupies
He's also more like your dad (or even mom tbh) than your boyfriend, because he's always nagging cuz of some idealistic criteria you failed to meet (ie. "cLeAn YoUr RoOm")
That's why his preference for dates are dates that don't even feel like them
It's literally just everyday activities
Going shopping together? Sure, he's down, gotta get it done anyway and it's nice to have company. You want him to teach you how to make a certain dish? Geez, finally, it's about time you start doing that yourself. You wanna join on a mission? That's a bit too dangerous, but you can meet him afterwards
Like do you get what I'm saying
It's so obvious you two have a thing for each other but he's just so damn dense and yet somehow gets super flustered at the same time
Compliment him on something he's insecure about and he'll be a mess for like 10 whole minutes (by this I mean he genuinely won't be able to utter a word)
Akiko Yosano 🦋
She listens to girl in red
Okay maybe not, but she definitely stans Dreamcatcher
I'll stop you get the point
Her favorite LOONA solo is Heart Attack
(That was the last one I swear)
But fr tho, she looks and acts scary but she's a whole sweetheart
Kind of cold but it's okay you can warm her up (melts if you do that)
Really scared of letting people get too close to her, but if you keep insisting and being nice to her she'll have to accept your love
ALSO fond of coffee (seriously what's with these people) and a mediocre cook (she's trying ok)
Will always be down to try and make something with you, whatever the dish may be
Smells like oranges and roses (not mixed, obvi on different days it's a different vibe)
Also sometimes has a lingering aftertaste of blood due to her job at the ADA and you're kinda just like 😶 about it because?? Do you tell her?? Does she know?? What do you do???
Pain.png
Hint: you should definitely tell her tho
SHE FINALLY HAS A CONSISTENT SHOPPING BUDDY
Although she doesn't force you to carry everything around like she forces everyone else to, because you're special ✨
That would also be your assumption on what her favorite date is, but she can actually be pretty romantic!
Don't expect anything grandeur tho, it's just a fancy dinner date at a restaurant
Poor bb has been planning and saving up for this for months now so please appreciate it
She sleeps like a rock
She's just straight, like a soldier
Oh the irony
But I feel like if you were to hug her she'd instantly melt into your embrace
Is ALSO prone to nightmares (seriously what's with these people) but she doesn't wanna bother you with them
Edogawa Ranpo 👓
Praise him
Please
He has a praise kink
So please praise him
He's surprisingly soft
Maybe it's all the sweets he eats, but he's both soft to hug and soft personality wise
Oh yeah did I mention he emits an aura of candy
Like he walks into the room and you don't even have to look to know that it's him, cuz it'll just smell like sweets all of a sudden
Speaking of, he really adores them
To the point where you'll have to force him to eat something healthy from time to time as well, I mean, seriously, that much sugar CANNOT be good for you
If you give him some homemade baked goods (ei. cupcakes, brownies, cake, ect.) listen he will LITERALLY lose it
You're his angel now
No not even that, you're a GODDESS/GOD to him
(Yes he's that dramatic)
He likes taking you to see detective movies with him where he figures out the killer in the first 3 minutes
Also he gets lost so gosh darn easily; never ever let him out of your sight or he'll just be gone forever
Other than that, he lets you organize and plan the dates, cuz he thinks you could do a way better job at being romantic than he ever could
He's really okay with anything you wanna do ㅡ he's just happy to be with you
(Just don't take him to someplace where he can't eat candy)
Force him to eat spicy food and he's breaking up with you nckdndjc
When sleeping together, he's sprawled out across the mattress
In many ways he's just a big teddy bear, you can climb on top of him and sleep there and he'll just be chill with it
These next few ⬇ are only friendship hcs bc a sis doesn't wanna go to jail
Kenji Miyazawa 🐄
Baby boy, baby
Listen I can't explain it but he smells like grass and that fresh air country smell
Like you just know he does
LOVES getting head-pats
Loves giving them too!!
He's so confused when it comes to city stuff, so he'd much rather chill with you somewhere on a grass field
Expect to play a lot of tag and hide n seek with him!! It'll be extra fun if he drags Kyouka and Atsushi with him as well
Sometimes he'll randomly drop a country fact that seems so obscure to you (think; that one time he mentioned they just throw criminals off a cliff) and you'll just stare at him like; 👁 👄 👁
He loves to eat
Literally anything
"I love cows but I love eating them too"
He mentioned before that he shouldn't eat a lot cuz he has no power when full but you can't just??let him starve??
Give him an apple and water and he'll be fine
Introduce him to arcades and he'll get hooked in a matter of seconds
Kyouka Izumi 🌺
baby girl, baby
Loves to go sightseeing like Atsushi
Kind of stoic in the beginning but as she slowly warms up to you she'll be smiling all the time
Brings out Demon Snow to protect you if a leaf falls a little too threateningly
Cdndjdj no but fr ㅡ she never really had friends that accepted her and wanted to spend time with her so she really doesn't want anything to happen to you
You have to remind her that she's just a kid; she should be allowed to relax and enjoy the moment for a bit
Smells like flowers and death
The death part of it fades away with time
Spends a lot of time with Atsushi!! Meaning you will spend a lot of time with Atsushi as well
If you don't like him I'm sorry but you two just can't be friends
She has no idea what counts as friend activities and what doesn't so expect her to either: a) not propose anything, or b) propose totally obscure stuff
But if something cute catches her attention she'll make an attempt to guide you to it
Like if she thinks you two should eat ice cream she'll stare at a nearby ice cream shop intensely
Sadly missing Junichiro and Fukuzawa cuz I just don't know enough about them 😔 we sad

Angstember Day 9
Tumblr media
You were Naomi’s friend first, it had all started when she brought you to her place to spend the night. She was like your sister and you spent most of your free time with her. You hadn’t met her brother before, but she talked about him a lot, you had a general idea of what he was like. When you actually met him though, you were star struck. He was kind, sweet, genuine, an all around great guy. It didn’t take long for you to grow feelings for him, and when you finally admitted to yourself that you had those feelings, you knew that he was the one for you. You wanted to spend your life with him, and you were going to do just that no matter what.
Tumblr media
Your one year anniversary fell on a weekday, you both knew that much, but it still bummed the two of you out knowing that he had to go into the office. You still wanted to do something special for the day, and you had it all planned out already.
The sun shone through the blinds at the perfect angle, casting its light across your face, waking you up almost instantly. The feeling of his arms still wrapped loosely around you was something that you relished in every morning. “Hmm, Junichirou, it’s time to wake up.” You said as you rolled over, watching as he sleepily pouted.
“Do I haaaave to?” He playfully complained, pulling you against him as he nuzzled his face into your neck. You giggled as his teeth grazed against the sensitive area of skin, trying to pull away from his arms. “I just want to lay here with you all day today, we deserve that, right?” He looked up at you, his hazel eyes glimmering in the sun.
“We do, but we can’t. We have all night to spend together. Plus, I’m pretty sure Naomi is waiting for you.” The mention of his sister made him sit up, stretching his slender arms in the air as he let out a small yawn. He knew better than to make his sister wait, he moved quickly around the room, putting on his clothes, brushing his hair and his teeth at the same time. You smiled, falling back against the pillow as you watched him.
“I’ll be back this evening, and we can celebrate our anniversary then. Love you, bunny.” You smiled at the term of endearment, one that he had called you since before the two of you had even begun dating. You remembered the first time he had called you that, when Naomi and yourself had been walking through a petting zoo and come across the rabbits. You had been joking with Naomi, hopping around in front of the fence that housed the rabbits, and Junichirou had been calling you bunny ever since.
He leaned down to press a small kiss to your lips before walking out of the room. As soon as you heard the front door close, you jumped out of bed, ready to head out and get everything you needed to make the night perfect. You pulled on your jacket and your boots, ready to head out into the crisp fall air.
You remembered the day that he had asked you to be his, you and Naomi had been walking down the sidewalk, Junichirou following behind the two of you. He had called you to him, grabbing your hands in his, professing his love and adoration to you in one quick, nervous, awkward sentence. His cheeks had been flushed, his eyes wide, his palms were sweaty and shaking as he waited for you answer. You hadn’t even been able to answer, so shocked at the confession, so you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him as an answer. The two of you had been going strong ever since.
The day was particularly warmer than most, the sun was beating down hard and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Even with the fresh autumn breeze, you still found yourself almost sweating under the glaring heat of the sun. You knew that walking to the store would be most unpleasant, so you called for a cab and waited under the shade of the last tree with leaves for it to come pick you up.
When the cab pulled up next to you, you immediately thought it was strange, the way it sped in your direction and squealed to a stop in front of you. When you got in and politely said hello, the driver didn’t even respond or ask where you were headed. You should have thought it was strange, you should have got right back out before he took off driving again, but you were so focused on making the night perfect for Junichirou and yourself that you weren’t worried about anything else.
You watched out the window as you passed by store after store, and it wasn’t until the driver passed the grocery store that you had intended on going into that you finally spoke up. “Uhm, excuse me sir, but you passed the destination. We can stop here, that’ll be alright.” You grabbed the handle of the door, ready to jump out when the car finally stopped, but it never even slowed down. Instead it began going faster, weaving in and out of traffic. “P-Please stop! We’re going to get in an accident!” You shouted, grabbing onto the handle on the roof.
The driver never spoke, never looked back at you through the mirror, he continued driving. He only stopped when he got to an intersection, right in the middle. The cars on all four sides were beeping their horns, yelling out their windows for him to move. He finally looked up into the mirror to look at you, you couldn’t tell who it was or who it could even be though. He was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, the only thing you could see were his lips that were pulled up into a smug smile. “Go ahead, you can get out now.” He unlocked the door, giving you a sinister snicker as you pushed open the door.
You should have known by the tone of his voice that something bad was going to happen, just like you should have caught on that the man who was driving the cab was up to no good, but then again, you weren’t very intuitive, and the only thing you wanted to do right now was to get away from the man and the creepy cab.
Everything seemed to go silent, the truck never honked its horn to let you know that it was coming, it barreled on straight toward the cab. You weren’t even fully out the door, and the only thing you could think to do was to get back inside, and that’s exactly what you did. “Drive! Drive please!!” You shouted, looking to the front seat, only  to find it empty. You didn’t have time to question his absence, or whether he knew this was going to happen. You could only curl up on the far side of the cab, tucking your head between your knees and covering it with your arms as the truck collided with the cab.
Tumblr media
Everyone was sitting around the office, it hadn’t been very busy today, and things had been pretty silent from with the Port Mafia for a while. They should have known not to trust the silence for too long though.
There was a knock on the office door, and when Kunikida opened it he was met with two officers and a detective from the department. “There’s been an accident. It’s a car accident...”
“Can’t even solve a car accident now, can you?” Ranpo stood up from his desk, ever so eager to show off his detective skills. “I guess I have some time to spare to help you guys out.”
The detective shook his head as he turned back to look at Kunikida. “The witnesses at the scene say it wasn’t like an ordinary accident. It didn’t seem... accidental. The driver ran off before the collision occurred, like they knew it was going to happen.”
“Was there a victim? Is anyone injured?” Kunikida asked, pulling out his notebook to begin jotting down information. At this point everyone was fairly interested in the mysterious case of the purposeful car crash.
“There was one victim. They’re in critical condition. Right now they’re in shock trauma, we found identification though. Their name was Y/L/N Y/F/N.” Junichirou and Naomi both looked up at the detective, the mention of your name finally getting their full attention. Everyone in the Agency knew that you and Junichirou were together, you would even occasionally come in with Naomi to help with secretary work on your days off.
They all turned to look at Junichirou who had already begun shaking. Naomi had her hand on his shoulder as she covered her mouth with her other hand, trying to stay calm and keep from crying. “What hospital?” Junichirou asked, his voice low, his eyes seemed to turn darker as his hair curtained his face.
The detectives told him the location and he immediately got up, pulling Naomi along with him as he raced out the door to get to the hospital. He would handle whoever did this after he made sure you were okay.
When he got to the hospital he went straight to the front desk, slamming his palms down on the front desk to get the receptionists attention. “I need to see Y/N, where are they at?” He asked, his fingers drumming against the linoleum counter as he stared down at the woman behind the desk. She quickly typed your name into her computer, sighing as she looked back up at him, shaking her head.
“I’m sorry, sir. They must not be out of surgery yet, I’m not finding a room number.” He groaned loudly, running his hands through his hair as Naomi tried to calm him, rubbing circles in his back. “If you’d like, you can wait here, I’ll take your name and when they’re moved into a room of their own I can let you know.” He couldn’t argue, it was the only thing the receptionist could do. He nodded, writing his name down on a sheet of paper next to your name before making his way to a far corner of the waiting room.
“Waiting is always the hardest part. But I’m sure Y/N is okay!” Naomi was always the optimist, and usually he appreciated her bright and sunny view on things, but right now he just couldn’t believe her words. He couldn’t understand why anyone would want to hurt you, why anyone would target you in an attack unless they wanted a war with the Agency. If it was a war they wanted, than he would give it to them. Two things that Junichirou loved with his entire being were you and his sister, and anyone that hurt or even thought of hurting you or her would have to deal with him. “Maybe Yosano can come in here and-”
“I wanna know who did it. I don’t want you out, not until we catch the guy. Okay?” He turned to face his sister, she wasn’t used to him being so stern with her, but she knew that he was on edge, he wasn’t trying to be rude or come off as angry, he was just worried. She nodded in agreement, curling up in her chair to lean against his shoulder. “Thank you.”
It had been hours, he had dozed off multiple times only to be woken up by names being called over the speaker system. The names weren’t his, and they weren’t yours though, so he would sigh and try to fall back asleep as Naomi snored softly in his ear. His name had finally been called four hours after he had gotten there. His back was stiff, his neck ached from the angle his head had been tilted, but he didn’t care about his own pain, he only cared about seeing you.
He gently shook Naomi to wake her, once her eyes were open he pulled her out of the seat and toward the front desk. “I-Is Y/N okay? Do they have a room?” Naomi asked, still rubbing the sleep from her eyes. The receptionist pursed her lips as she looked between Junichirou and Naomi. The news wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst possible news.
“I’m going to give you the room number, and let the doctors know that you’re coming up. They can tell you everything.” It would be better coming from the doctor anyway, they would be able to tell them everything they needed to know.
They got their visitor passes and began walking down the long hallway. The sound of children crying, televisions silently playing, PA systems calling codes, the sounds of footsteps running down hallways, all the noises seemed to mix together as they walked. It didn’t take long to find the room, the doctor was standing in the doorway, a small smile on his face as he watched them walk closer.
“Is Y/N okay? Can we see them?” Naomi asked again, trying to peer into the room. The doctor blocked the view, moving out of the room and shutting the door behind him. “We can’t...”
“Y/N is alive, I’ll tell you that. The crash, it was big, it was destructive. Their ribs were broken, and some of the bones impaled the lungs, so they are on a ventilator right now. They are also unconscious, but not brain dead, in a coma. They are also paralyzed... from the neck down. The way they were folded up to protect themselves actually caused more damage.” The doctor spoke so casually, and even though Junichirou knew that it was just him doing his job, and that he had seen these things often, he couldn’t help but feel agitated.
“So you’re telling me... that they’ll never walk again? Will they wake up? They’re not going to die, are they?” He had so many questions, but he knew that even the doctor couldn’t give him the answers he wanted. He felt entirely hopeless right now, and he didn’t know what to do.
The doctor finally let him and Naomi into the room, and when they saw you laying on the bed, they both couldn’t control their tears. Seeing you that way, in that condition, knowing that there was nothing neither of them could do. The tubes that were going up your nose and down your throat, the cuts and scraped that lined your face, the line of stitches that ran down your arm. The way that you laid there, limp. He knew that you would never feel his touch again, you would never feel the way he caressed your body on lazy evenings after a long day of work. Your legs would never casually wrap around his as you tangled yourself into him under the covers. Dreams of dancing with you at your wedding, holding your hand as you both walked along the shore of the beach, dreams that used to cloud his mind were now becoming cloudy themselves, slowly fading away as all hope seemed lost.
He stood over your bed, grabbing your hand in his, knowing that you didn’t feel it, but hoping that you would at least feel that he was there in some way. “I promise, I swear, I’m going to catch the person who did this to you. I hope you can hear me, I need you to hear me, because I need you to know that I’ll do anything for you. I love you, and I need you, so take all the time you need, but you have to wake up, please wake up. I love you, bunny.”

3. Strength
We learn some more about our outstanding team and we find that Ryoko is a strong girl... she just lifted Dazai over her shoulder with ease.
Tumblr media
Okay Bokuto was actually very funny Ryoko found. Akaashi was a seemingly less dead inside version of Fyodor and she appreciated that greatly.
“Fukami Aoba Johsai’s captain wants to talk to you.” Higuchi said, venom lacing her words. The pinkette rolled her eyes making Akaashi giggle quietly.
“Alright blondie where are they?”
“Don’t call me blondie you hoarder.” She snapped. “Over there in the light blue t-shirt.”
“Yikes someone didn’t get their daily dose of Aku today. Nice chat boys talk soon.”
Oikawa wasn’t stupid enough to say he wasn’t nervous to talk to the pink haired girl, he’s a confident man, stupidly cocky and competitive but he knows when he needs to back down from the alpha dog. Ryoko being the Alpha dog. She was terrifying, even mad dog stared towards their team in awe. They looked friendly enough but Toru Oikawa was astute enough to figure out something was up with the Yokohama team.
Strong
Fast
Incredibly keen
He needed to know and he was going to ask each and every player on that team.
Hirotsu fiddled with his monocle and watched as the students mingled, called parents or friends and generally did their own things, the Fukurodani coach stepped beside him.
“Takeyuki Yamiji.” He says. “Your team is something.”
“Ryuro Hirotsu. Yes they are.” He smiled. “Fukurodani is quite strong too.”
“In comparison to your lot I’ll definitely take that compliment.” The man laughed. “I’m sure you know half the reason Yokohama was invited was so we could learn your plays.”
“We know.” Hirotsu said smugly.
“Then I must ask why agree? Some of us definitely aren’t near your level we were surprised you agreed to join the camp.” Yamiji wondered.
“Let’s just say our lot needs some normalcy. Our school is very much performance based they need to be good at everything they set their minds too. They can do it they are strong kids but a misstep would... uh... anger them. We don’t pressure them to be perfect in any way- we want them to do well... and they enjoy teaching others. The third years like being mentors, the second years want to show off just a little and the first years want to be seen outside of Volleyball. A training camp gives them freedom.” Ranpo interjected.
“Very well said Edogawa.” Hirotsu laughed. Yamiji nodded in understanding.
“Shiratorizawa’s coach needs to be more like you, he’s stuck in his old ways- should have seen his face when your girls weren’t managers.”
“Ugh.” Ranpo sneered. If only they all knew what the Yokohama team really was they’d change their tune.
“Ugh indeed.” Yamiji laughed. “I should go make sure Bokuto isn’t planning on kidnapping Fukami from you he looks so sad now that she’s gone over to Oikawa and their Ace.”
“Perhaps, she has that affect on people.” Hirotsu smiled. She carries a warmth about her that gets hidden by a stone like shell with cracks running through it. The warmth would be a raging fire if not held back.
All of the Yokohama team was like that- they weren’t normal the school made certain they knew that, no one at that school was. Could you even call it a school? Principal Fukuzawa wasn’t entirely pleased by the governments methods of teaching.... non of the teachers were... it’s not teaching if the kids pass out.
Speaking of Hirotsu should go with the other coaches to check on the food Ranpo will be alright alone.
“Oikawa and Iwaizumi right? Blondie sent me over.” The pinkette said lazily. She could see the side eyes of her teammates it’s not like she was going to attack anyone that only happened once and she wholeheartedly believes Twain deserved it.
“Just wanted to meet you. We’ll play against you tomorrow and since we’ll be stuck together for a while maybe become friends?” Oikawa answered. Ryoko snorted at his tone.
“If you have no intentions of being friends don’t pretend I don’t like liars. You seem like a smart guy just ask your questions.”
“Okay fine you got me what gave me away?” Oikawa laughed, genuinely laughed.
“Iwaizumi’s face.” Said Ace went to speak before noticing the quirk on her lips, she was teasing them. “But seriously what’s up milk bread.”
Oikawa spluttered, Iwaizumi snorted and all else who heard snickered quietly. Okay maybe not quietly Tendo found that comment extremely funny.
“Well I was offering a branch of friendship for volleyball note swapping but after that comment.” Oikawa huffed.
“In other words what kind of training do you all do?” Iwaizumi asked.
“Oh- you should talk to Oda and Chuuya on that stuff. I just show up and hit things.” She chuckled. It didn’t seem genuine if the Aoba Johsai players were honest. Her fiery eyes darken slightly, “Honestly we just work well together, like all of you we train each section, play and style to near perfection but again those questions are best for the Captains milk bread.”
“I’m not going to live that down now.” Oikawa grumbled.
“No way milk bread.” Iwaizumi teased. Ryoko twitched and pulled on her braid watching them with an awfully calm watchful gaze, like an animal studying something new. “Let’s let Fukami go back to her team I think her manager wants her.”
Ryoko nodded abruptly and walked back towards the dark haired man she was near attached to.
Fyodor had been watching, as had most of the Yokohama team or at least the Akutagawa’s, Ranpo, Junichiro and coach- who knows what the others were up to... Atsushi was making friends, Chuuya was grumbling to Dazai and Oda with the Karasuno and Nekoma Captains and vices. Ryoko had been with Bokuto and Akaashi but Higuchi had soured her mood (she was now as motioned before speaking with Oikawa and Iwaizumi).
Fyodor often watched, he had no reason to interact unless necessary and no one was coming over to him just yet thankfully. His pale bony fingers played with the silver band on his wrist, it wasn’t a nervous tick or anything just caution. Ryoko and Chuuya wore one too and stupidly many people just assumed they were friend (they are but that’s not the point) ship bracelets. Nope just some spectacular silver bands to keep the three of them controlled.
Purple eyes caught stark grey ones, Chuuya had been thumbing his own bracelet but had made a motion towards Ryoko with his eyes. Fyodor followed till he caught her tense shoulders. The pinkette’s head jerked quickly and only just noticeable to those who knew it was a tick she gained while trying to keep herself controlled- one Chuuya shared. Fyodor didn’t have ticks, he had intelligence and poise... he had a terrible habit to mumble not that anyone would tell him less they face the wrath of their stoic volleyball manager. Ryoko looked uncomfortable, like she wanted to itch at her skin and pull her hair, she was tugging on her braid is that close enough. Her chuckle fell through the air as Iwaizumi called Oikawa milk bread again, more mutters, then the pinkette was soon by his side again.
“Are you alright Ryo?”
“Fine. You? You’re playing with the band again.”
“You noticed?”
“Chuuya is too.” She said pointedly. “I hate wearing it.” She muttered.
“Alright Burnabitch how about we go get dinner.” Fyodor raised a thin brow waiting for the pinkette to get his joke.
“Oh fuck you Rat Bastard it was one time and Kaji deserved it.” She snorted pushing him out the door.
Sakusa watched too, less sternly than Fyodor but definitely more than Atsumu and Osamu were. The trio was off to the side, Atsumu searching for his favourite short ginger (Hinata where are you?).
“You think those two are together?” They heard Lev ask. Yaku hummed in response watching the two Yokohama students walk towards the cafeteria.
“They most certainly aren’t.” Akutagawa scoffed.
“Sound jealous.” Dazai snickered.
“Am not.”
“Are too.”
“Am not Dazai.”
“Are too Akuuu!”
“Is the Yokohama team normally this... chaotic? Their energy off the court is so different to their energy on.” Sakusa grumbled.
“It’s like they get to act like kids off the court or something. They aren’t getting in trouble so maybe it’s normal.” Osamu shrugged.
“Maybe. They just were so scary when we played against them.” Atsumu shivered. “Especially their setter... pretty sure he was going to set dunk my face.”
“You were flirting with the female middle blocker.” Sakusa droned.
“HE DID WHAT!”
“That’s you’re cue to run!” Oda yelled gripping what he could of Akutagawa with the arm that wasn’t in a sling.
“Running!”
The evening seemed to go by stagnantly. Everything moving either slowly or too quick bouncing from person to person.
Dinner was nice, sushi and soft drink with some fried chicken if anyone wanted some. Desert was some ice-cream. Pretty simple thankfully. Now everyone was in their designated rooms chatting and messing around until lights out
Atsushi and Tanizaki were bumbling around chatting quietly, Hinata attempted to join but to no avail the two apologised saying their coach sent them a message and ran off. The poor small ginger he was so confused.
“Uh it’s basically bed time man?” Tanaka said as Akutagawa stood to leave.
“Not for me. Good night.”
And with that the door was slammed.
Again the evening felt odd.
“Gin? Ryoko? Higuchi? Where did they go?” Yachi wondered noticing the three empty beds. With hands on her hips she sticks her head out the door but either girl were in sight. “Have any of you seen them?”
“Not since showers.” Kiyoko answered. The girls brows furrowed- where did they go?
“Dazai you can’t go to bed yet.” Oda sighed.
“But I’m tired.”
“No you aren’t dumbass.” Chuuya kicked him.
“Hey what’s going on guys?” Kuroo and Daichi asked.
“We must go coach needs us.” Fyodor answered cryptically. A knock on the door startled everyone.
“Why does this feel like the start of something bad?” Asahi asked quietly before Sugawara whacked him on the head with a mighty negativity be gone.
“Oi Dazai get up lazy ass.”... Ryoko?
“Ryoko?” Bokuto asked with innocent confusion.
“Sup Owlking.” Ryoko grinned with her hands on her hips. “Dazai get up before I make you everyone else has headed over besides you four.”
“I’m going.” Chuuya and Oda said rushing out the door.
“Don’t wanna.” Dazai sung. Fyodor sighed, Ryoko’s eye twitched.
“Don’t say she didn’t warn you.” Fyodor said.
The third years watched as the pinkette strolled into the room slowly towards the seemingly unmovable Dazai and lifted him up.
No struggles or tugs just picked him up and threw him over her shoulder.
The third years sat gobsmacked.
“How?” Oikawa managed to get out.
“I work out.” She winked before sashaying out the door with Dazai swaying and grumbling over her shoulder. Fyodor just sighed again and followed out.
What the hell is up with that team?

*hiding behind a wall to see if commie accepts* Tsukasa (ot4) and Sougo(ot..4?), Z (found family)?
Z is for family
Junichiro laughs awkwardly. “I’m so sorry, Mr--Yuusuke, it feels like whenever you come here you end up repairing something.”
Yuusuke shrugs, grins. “I like having things to do with my hands, and there’s no sense in making you waste money on a plumber for something this simple to fix. And I’m going to teach Geiz how to do it too, so if it comes up again and you can’t get in touch with me he can take care of it.”
Blinking in surprise, Junichiro looks past Yuusuke’s shoulder to Geiz, who shrugs. “Woz hates being dirty and Sougo...uh...I kinda don’t think we should encourage Sougo to take apart stuff in the house. Um, no offense.”
“None taken, Geiz, I’ve known him longer than you have and I don’t know that I’d trust him to fix the toilet either, he’s, ah...”
“A little absent-minded?” is Yuusuke’s cheerfully diplomatic suggestion.
“Yes, exactly.”
A frustrated noise floats in from the dining room, and Geiz glances over nervously towards the doorway. “Maybe we should get started on that before Daiki actually manages to lose his temper.”
“I don’t think he’d really lose his temper over something like this.” Yuusuke also glances toward the dining room and frowns. “But then again, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him lose at chess this many times in a row.”
There’s a notable silence, and then the sound of Tsukuyomi saying, quietly, “Checkmate,” followed by Daiki’s aggrieved, “Where did you learn to play chess like that?”
“Yeah, let’s head upstairs, either he’s going to actually get upset or he and Tsukuyomi are about to have some kind of serious conversation and he’d be embarrassed if we overheard him, he hates getting serious in public.”
--
In the dining room, Tsukuyomi frowns at her queen and says, “I...I don’t actually know. I know how to play chess, but I don’t remembering...learning how to play chess. Or who taught me.”
Daiki's resetting the chessboard, so he doesn't look up at her, but he does say, "You know, sometimes I envy Tsukasa for having been allowed to forget things." Before Tsukuyomi can reply, though, "But then he'll go saying something like you just said and I remember how lucky I have it."
Tsukuyomi's frown gets a little deeper, but now she looks more confused than frustrated. "What do you mean?"
"Has he ever mentioned that he can't remember his parents' faces? Or their names?"
"He...no, he hasn't."
"Being able to forget is a blessing, but only if it's something you can allow yourself to do. Having it happen to you is a different thing entirely." He finishes setting up the pieces. "Sorry, I'm being gloomy, it happens sometimes."
Tsukuyomi peers at him for a moment before responding. “That’s why you started showing up to talk to Geiz, wasn’t it. Because of something you wish you could forget.”
Daiki still doesn’t look up at her. Now that the board’s reset he’s started fidgeting with the pieces again, picking up both kings and queens and rolling them in his hands. “You’re too sharp for your own good, you know that?” He puts the kings and queens down again in a little square in the center of the board. “I had a younger brother once. I failed him pretty badly.”
“I mean, apparently I had an older brother once, and he tried to kill me.” Tsukuyomi taps the white queen on the top of its little crown. “That’s also why you keep bringing me Watches.”
“Got it in one. You deserve a better brother. I think you four remind us all of ourselves.” Daiki looks down thoughtfully at the little square of pieces. “Hey, look, by the way, it’s you.” He taps the white queen just as Tsukuyomi did. “So I guess that’d make this one Sougo--” the black king, “and this one Geiz,” the white king.
She giggles. “And Woz is the black queen?”
“Well, it’s not a perfect one-to-one. I guess I could go with the black bishop, but guys who go by Bishop tend to be pretty ominous characters and he's not nearly as worrying as he used to be.”
“So if we’re like you guys, then which one of these are you?”
“Oh, we’re not chess pieces, we’re cards.” Rustling, and a Tarot deck emerges from one of the interior pockets of Daiki’s jacket. He slides it lovingly out of the box and flips through the deck, drawing four cards and laying them down on the table next to the chessboard--the King of Wands, the Queen of Coins, and the Knight of Swords, and the Page of Cups. “See? There’s Tsukasa, that’s Natsumi, obviously this one is Yuusuke, and that’s me.”
“You just...had that in your pocket? And...Cups is the one that turned into Hearts, right? You’re the Page of Hearts?”
They’re interrupted by a startled noise from the kitchen, Woz saying, “How did you get that--” as Tsukasa, at the same time, says, “Princess, we don’t play with kitchen knives, give me that.”
“Ooh, sounds like things are getting exciting in there.” Daiki’s face lights up with a genuine grin. “Anyway, you have no idea how much stuff I’ve got in my pockets, that’s right, and of course I am. The Knave of Hearts, he stole some tarts. Speaking of which...” The Tarot deck goes away, and is replaced by on the table by a deck of regular playing cards. “Why don’t we switch games? You know how to play poker?”
--
Tsukasa carefully takes the paring knife from Yuzuki and puts it back on the counter, farther back from the edge than it was before. “I’m pretty sure you grew, I don’t think you could have reached up there last week.”
She grins up at him. “Tall!”
“Yeah, that’s right, you’re very tall.”
Woz shifts nervously as she returns to the kitchen chair she’s been occupying and clambers up onto the seat. Once she’s occupied with her stacking cups again and in no apparent danger of getting her hands on another knife, he visibly relaxes. He picks a piece of dumpling filling from the mixing bowl with his chopsticks, deposits it in the wrapper in his hand, and passes the whole thing to Tsukasa. “I appreciate your assistance with this.”
Tsukasa shrugs and starts to crimp the dumpling shut. “I figure you’re probably not usually cooking for ten people.” Closed, the dumpling goes onto a sheet pan, where there are already at least fifty completed but uncooked pieces laid out.
“You might be surprised. Sougo and Geiz both eat a great deal.”
“And you don’t?” Tsukasa accepts another filled wrapper and looks Woz up and down. “I’ve seen you eat, it’s kind of amazing that you’re so skinny.”
“That’s...not unfair.”
They make dumplings in silence, Woz filling and Tsukasa crimping as the sheet pan becomes fuller and fuller. Eventually they have to get a second pan, and when they’ve got ten dumplings down on that, Yuzuki slides down from her chair with a thump and tugs on the hem of Woz’s shirt. “Woz. Woz. Woz.”
Woz looks down at her in alarm. “Yes?”
She points imperiously to the counter. “Book.”
“Ah...yes? That’s my book.”
A firm nod. “Woz, book.”
“She wants you to read to her.” Tsukasa puts aside another completed dumpling. “Right, princess?”
Yuzuki nods again. “Ok! Read book!”
Woz only looks more alarmed. “Why me?”
“Well, she knows it’s your book.”
“Yes, but my book is...” Woz glances to the side. “My book is not suitable for children.”
Tsukasa’s eyebrows go up. “Isn’t it? If the stories in there aren’t suitable for children then I don’t know what is.” He pauses. “I mean, maybe don’t read to her about the Amazon kids, the Greek ones, but otherwise. I can keep making dumplings by myself, I’ll be fine.”
Uncertain, Woz nods, puts aside the cooking chopsticks, and washes his hands before taking his book down from its spot on the counter. Yuzuki claps delightedly as he sits down in the kitchen chair and climbs up onto his lap with only minimal wincing on his part. “Woz, book! Thank you.”
His mouth twitches slightly, as if he’s trying not to smile, and Tsukasa winks at him. Then, carefully, he opens up the book and turns to a spot about sixteen pages in. “Long, long ago, there was a man who knew how to do one thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine things--”
“Big number.”
“Yes, very big. There was a man who knew how to do one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine things, and his name was Godai Yusuke.”
“Like Daddy! Yusuke!”
“Just like your father, yes. And he loved nothing more than the blue sky and to travel and have adventures...”
--
“Hm. A little to the left, please.”
Sougo blinks. “Which one?”
“The Ride Booker. Your big watch is so chunky that it’s actually managed to make the Booker look small, which is pretty impressive.” Natsumi frowns, peering at the screen on her camera, and then shifts slightly as Sougo adjusts the placement of the Ride Booker. “Yeah, there we go, that looks nice.”
She takes several pictures. They’re working outside in the sun, so she doesn’t use the flash, and after ten or so shots she nods in satisfaction and Sougo says, “Do you want me to rearrange them?”
“No, that’s fine, I’ve got what I wanted. Here, toss me the Booker, you can take your watch now.“
“Ok, here. Why did you want a picture of the Grand Zi-O watch?”
She shrugs. “I don’t get to do a lot of still photography, most of the studio’s business is portraits. I thought it’d be a nice change.” The Ride Booker goes into her bag, her camera goes back into its case, and she sits down on the bench they were using as a platform for the set-up. “Besides, the weather’s good today, it’s a nice excuse to get outside and get some fresh air.”
The Grand Zi-O watch fizzes away, presumably back to the bedside table in Sougo’s room, and he sits down next to Natsumi. “It is nice out today, yeah. But I mean, like. Why Rider stuff? Why not, I don’t know, nature photography?”
“Because I don’t get out in nature as much as I’d like, but Rider stuff’s been a lot of my life. Tsukasa takes all kinds of photos of Rider stuff, of course, and they’re kinda great for what they are, but they’re not really practical records. The story of the whole thing matters, and it’s easier if you’ve got clear pictures.”
“The story? What story?”
“Whatever story’s being told. That’s what photography’s for, to tell stories about our lives. You know, like, here’s when Ritsuko got married, and this is when Miki and his sister graduated high school, and here’s when we saved the world the first time and Tsukasa got turned into a giant belt for ten minutes.” She glances over at him and grins. “Anyway, I wanted to get a picture of his transformation whatsit with yours because it’s kind of funny to see him pick up a junior, I think it makes him feel better about himself knowing that he’s not the only one doing what he does.”
Sougo nods, frowning slightly. “Tsukuyomi said you’re a Rider too, but I’ve never seen you carrying anything that looks like Rider stuff, what do you use?”
“Oh, god, she’s around here somewhere.”
“...she?”
“Hey! Kiva-la! I know you’re here!”
And a little purple-and-white bat flits into view and says, “Obviously I’m here, what do you want?”
“Sougo wanted to know what I transform with. See,” to Sougo, “Tsukasa and Daiki just get cards, Yuusuke’s got his stone, but if I need to do hero stuff I have to deal with her.”
Sougo stares at Kiva-la wide-eyed for a moment before saying, “It’s, uh, nice to meet you? Ma’am?”
Kiva-la turns a loop-de-loop in the air. “I like him! No one’s ever polite to me! Anyway,” with a pout in her tiny voice, “Tsukasa said to tell you it’s time for dinner.”
--
The whole building smells like frying dumplings and cooking soup and good food in general, and Yuusuke and Geiz straighten up and put the lid back onto the back of the toilet moments before Woz says, in his most carrying, I-Am-Making-An-Announcement voice, “It is time for dinner,” echoed by Yuzuki’s enthusiastic shout of, “Dinner!”
Yuusuke’s face lights up. “Oh, perfect timing. Here, wash your hands, I’ll wash mine, and we can both head down.”
“Sounds good.” Geiz turns on the water and starts scrubbing his hands vigorously. “Thanks for showing me that, by the way, everyone else here is useless at repairs.”
“I mean, I don’t know that I’d put it that way...”
“No, seriously, I live with Sougo, he’s a space case. And Woz is...he’s Woz. He’s great, but he’s also Woz.” Geiz backs away from the sink and grabs a towel to dry his hands as Yuusuke starts to wash his. “Why’d you want to, though? Like I appreciate it, but what made you want to teach me something like this?”
“I like fixing things, and you seem like someone who needs to find more ways to relax.” Yuusuke accepts another hand towel. “Rider stuff is exhausting, it’s nice knowing how to do normal things too. Wow that all smells good, I’m so excited to eat a meal that I didn’t have to cook any of myself.”
As they head for the stairs, Geiz says, “No offense, but you seem...different, somehow, from Tsukasa and Daiki and Natsumi.”
“That’s because they’re huge drama queens.” Yuusuke grins at him. “I love them so much, you have no idea, but if we were all like that then nothing would ever get done around the house.”
Geiz stifles laughter.
Yuusuke’s grin just gets wider. “See, I knew you’d get it.”

Zemblanity - Chapter Three
Zemblanity is the faculty of making unhappy, unlucky and expected discoveries by design
- - -
~Present Day~
Pissed was an understatement.
What she was feeling, there was no word in any language that could describe it. All her life, those around her would get on their knees just to do her bidding. She was born to be doted on, to be served. Not to be humiliated in public by some third rate pianist and accused of something so fabricated that even Hollywood would never use as a short scene in anything.
Although no charges was pressed on Misaki's request, Junko's life had been turned upside down since the fiasco. Words traveled fast in the upper class society after all. She was no longer invited to parties and events, the interview schedules a week from now was suddenly postponed indefinitely, and all brands she was the face of terminated their contracts with her; she had never seen posters being taken down and replaced so quickly.
She did not understand, however, why she was being subjected to such treatment. In her world, they were in no shortage of fiasco. This week, two actresses could be reported fighting over a man. Next week, a CEO could be found having an affair with four different women. Drama was all around her and Junko was not the first to cause a scene. Albeit, it was not her first time causing a scene either though it was the first time she was not seen as the victim. Who was that pianist and why did everyone choose to believe her? In an attempt to save her image, Junko convinced her father to throw a charity ball to showcase her generosity and kindness.
~.~
"Are you sure about this, Misaki?"
"No, but I don't have a choice."
When the invitation for a charity ball hosted by the Inoue's came in the mail, Misaki tossed it into the trash. She never had a interest in these affairs, and she definitely lost what little interest she might have when she saw the name Inoue Junko. Misaki was not afraid, she just did not have the patience nor the time to play along with whatever game the model came up with this time. Unfortunately for Misaki, Junko was smart this time.
A day before the ball, Misaki was called to her father. He was sent an invitation, personally delivered by Junko's father. While Junichiro had knowledge of what happened between his daughter and Junko, he never reprimanded Misaki for her actions because she never brought shame to the family. If anything, her situation was in favour of the Kanemoto name. Now that her father was involved, there was no escaping for her. Whether or not she liked it, she had to attend the ball. And while wearing an emerald green sleeveless empire line dress, a professional fake smile plastered on her face with her arm in her father's, Misaki made an appearance at the ball.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary arriving at the venue. They were photographed, as always. They were escorted into the hall, as always. And always, Misaki shadowed her father while he made his round of greeting partners and friends. Half an hour into the ball, she was starting to think perhaps this was a genuine event when she was approached by Junko. She was greeted with a smile though Misaki could detect a smug instantly.
"I am so glad you could make it. I know we set off on the wrong foot and I was hoping we could make up here."
"What's your game here?" Misaki asked, her voice low enough only for Junko to hear.
"No game. I sincerely want to apologise for what happened."
Despite genuine sounding sincerity, Misaki was not falling for Junko's act. Nobody else knew what happened in the bathroom, though everybody believed every word Misaki told them. Junko, however, knew she had nothing to apologise for. Misaki was the one who tore her own dress, broke her own shoes, and pretended she was attacked. If Junko was anything Misaki came to know of, she would not be apologising for something she did not do. She had something up her sleeve and she was planning on unleashing it this evening.
"I do, however, have a favour I would like to ask of you." When Misaki did not respond, Junko continued. "As this is a charity ball, we've decided to provide some services for the guests who donated. While we have a variety to choose from, many guests heard you were coming and asked if you could play the piano for them. This is a list of songs they requested."
Almost instantly, Junko was baring her claws. She did have something up her sleeve, but she just could not keep it in long enough. Taking the list from Junko, Misaki could not help the scoff. A simple glance of the list, and she could tell that the other woman Googled 'World's most difficult piano piece' as she wrote the list. Knowing it was a trap of some sort, Misaki decided to entertain the idea.
"If you could just give me perhaps half an hour to look over the scores for these?"
"How about fifteen minutes? I wouldn't want our dear guests to be waiting too long, you see."
"Of course."
"I'm glad you understand."
Excusing herself, Misaki went to one corner and looked up the score for each of the piece on the requested list. The pieces were complicated but to a skilled pianist like herself, they were not hard with practice. Misaki did not see a problem with most of them as they were pieces she played before, though there were pieces she never touched in the mix. Junko's intention was becoming clear; she did not want to hurt Misaki, not as much as she wanted to humiliate her. She understood where the plan was headed for though she had a feeling Junko did not think it quite through. It would make more sense to have Misaki play these pieces on the violin as humiliation, rather than giving her one advantage: the piano.
Walking over the piano positioned right in the middle of the hall, Misaki sat on the stool and almost immediately, all commotion in the hall stopped and they were slowly gathering around her. Junko gave her a brief introduction and explanation before stepping aside to leave her the stage. As the applause quieted down, Misaki placed her hands on the keys and took in a deep breath.
She would be lying if she said she was not nervous before every performance. No matter how big or small, it was always nerve wrecking. The beginning was always the hardest, the first note she had to play. She remembered her first official performance, she was so nervous that her hands were shaking and she ended up playing the wrong note. She became the laughing stock that night, and her father was not pleased. She learnt from that mistake, however. Before she went on stage, she had a little ritual; texting Minato, reciting her favourite poem twice, and telling herself that Chopin was looking over her.
There was no ritual tonight.
It was the first time she did not feel nervous at all. If Junko's goal was to humiliate her in front of everyone, Misaki was not going to let her have the pleasure at all. Taking another look at the list, she started with the piece right at the top. From the first note to the last, she was confident. Once she finished the first piece, she moved on to the next, and the next, and the next. She was halfway through the list by the time she finished the pieces she was familiar with. She could feel Junko's death glare somewhere in the crowd and could not help the smirk in response. As she moved on to the less familiar, and some harder, pieces, she was approached by Junko with disappointed look on her face (though it was satisfying for Misaki).
"Hi, you're playing beautifully but some guests are starting to complain that they can't have a conversation with all this noise going on."
"But I thought they were the ones who requested for me to play?"
"Well, now they don't want to hear it."
"I have two pieces left, I'll be done soon."
"I said, stop!"
Even as they spoke, Misaki continued playing. It was a mistake, in hindsight, though she did not anticipate Junko's reaction. Throwing a tantrum was expected of the spoiled model, but slamming the fallboard while Misaki was still playing was not. She reacted quick enough to save her right hand though her left wrist took quite a hit. Silence blanketed over the hall as no one knew how to react. Clutching her left wrist in pain, the only thing on Misaki's mind was to get medical attention. Besides her brother, her hands were her everything.
Standing up to leave, Misaki was stopped by Junko who grabbed her left wrist roughly and yanked at it, bringing tears to Misaki's eyes from the pain. Seeing the tears, however, infuriated the other woman further.
"Stop pretending! Show everyone what a fraud you are! Tell them you framed me last time! Tell them!"
"Junko!"
"Daddy! Look, she's doing it again! She's pretending to be hurt so she can blame me again!"
"Let go of my daughter."
Junichiro forced Junko to let go of Misaki though she refused to and tightened her grip, causing her more pain. Eventually, with the help of Junko's father, they were separated. The pain was so numbing that Misaki barely knew what was going on, only that she was taken away as soon as she was free. Sat in a small room, Misaki was left alone while the hotel staff went to get a first aid kit. She looked down at her hand, trying to move her fingers but no matter how hard she tried, they did not.
Many thoughts ran through her mind; how this would be the end of her career, how her father would get angry at her for being involved with Junko. Most importantly, however, she could only think of how this was her fault. She wanted to teach Junko a lesson, that she should not mess with power and status when she was not the one with complete power and status. So what if Misaki stood above Junko in society? So what if everyone would blindly believe her over the model? None of that meant anything when Junko could slam a fallboard on her hands and basically end her life. She was playing with fire, knowing perfectly well that it could burn her no matter how much she thought she knew about it.
There was a knock on the door and Junichiro walked in, closing the door behind him. Misaki looked up, though she could not read her father's expression. This was not the first time Misaki caused a scene in public, she knew what would happen next without reading her father. The last time something to this scale happened, she was sent overseas to study so as to be kept out of the spotlight and to ensure that Junichiro kept his image.
"Well done."
Her father's words were surprising, but the hand on the shoulder was telling Misaki she did not hear him wrong. "Well done? I don't understand, father...I messed up. I caused a scene. I brought shame to the family. The Kanemoto name-"
"-Is fine. You caused a scene, but you were not the instigator."
"You're not mad?"
"Under any other circumstances, I would be," Junichiro admitted. "But I've been looking for a reason to stop funding Inoue's campaigns, just never had a good reason to. Your last incident with Junko came at the right time but it still wasn't good enough. Tonight, however, was perfect. His daughter assaulted mine, and I can stop his funding. And everyone is siding with us."
Although relieved she would not be punished, Misaki could not help but feel disappointed with her father. The only reason why he sided with her this time was because it benefited him somehow. He did not care what she did to Junko, nor did he care about what Junko did to her. He could not care less about her throbbing wrist. This was her first time hearing a real praise from her father, and it was at the cost of her hand and her career.
"How's the wrist?" Junichiro asked.
"It's alright," Misaki lied, rotating her wrist while keeping the pain to herself.
"Good. But I'd like you to go to the hospital still. Get every doctor looking at it and have them describe the worst possible outcome. I want the Inoue's to suffer the consequences."
"Yes, father."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It did not take long for the headlines to start coming out.
Model freaked out on pianist!
Kanemoto Junichiro to stop funding Inoue over daughter dispute!
No doubt, father of the year!
Misaki scrolled through the articles on her phone, not clicking into any of them to read. She must say, however, that she was impressed. It was only an hour ago when Junko had her little break down and injured Misaki, but almost every news outlet already caught wind and published multiple articles covering the news; two pages of search worth. Junichiro would most definitely be delighted to see these articles, but Misaki felt like throwing up just reading the headlines for each of them.
She had no sympathy for Junko. In fact, she felt she deserved the karma. But the idea of her father using her misfortune for his own gain, it made Misaki sick to the stomach. His only concern was how he would be presented in this incident, and the benefits that came with it. Junichiro got what he wanted, at the cost of Misaki's wrist though he could not care less. He did not accompany her to the hospital, continuing the act of a good father as the media had painted him as. Albeit, that did not stop him from benefiting further. Under her father's orders, Misaki sat in the public waiting room of the hospital so she could be photographed like an animal at the zoo by the tabloids. He wanted her to seem as pitiful as possible, reining in all the sympathies.
In the ER waiting room, however, no one paid her any attention. The nurse registered her and simply told her to take a seat without even looking up from her screen. Those waiting for their turn did not have time to care about the world renowned pianist sat next to them.
Sitting about two rows in front of her was a father with a little girl in his arms. Her eyes were red from crying but her father was patiently rocking her, singing softly in her ears. It was a simple interaction, one that was expected of any parent, but jealousy was building up in Misaki. Not once growing up was she ever held so lovingly by her father. Neither was Minato. When they were sick, it was Mai who took care of them and by extension, the servants around the house. When they hurt themselves, Junichiro would look at them indifferently and told them that a true Kanemoto would never let anyone see them cry. Weakness was never accepted in their household, not unless it was to bring them benefits.
Her attention was brought away from the father and daughter when she felt someone sitting next to her. A boy, no older than eight years old, looked up at Misaki with a cheeky grin. His right arm was in a cast and sling, and he had some bandages down the right side of his face.
"Hi," he smiled.
"Hi there," Misaki smiled right back. "What happened to you?"
"Accident. I fell down the slide at the playground."
"Ouch, sounds painful."
"Yeah, it was. But I have a cast now. I'm going to be so cool in school." Misaki could not help the chuckle at that comment. If only she had his positive outlook when she was his age. He scooted a little closer to Misaki, looking up at her with his big eyes. "You're really pretty," he whispered. "My dad has been staring at you. So was that nurse. He crashed into someone just now."
Looking over to where the boy was pointing, Misaki gave his father a smile. The man was embarrassed, looking the other way as soon as they made eye contact. She was feeling miserable, feeling sorry for herself just two minutes ago, but the little boy's innocent candor lifted her mood instantly. He sat with her for the next twenty minutes while waiting for his medicine, telling her about his school and his classmates, telling her about his fall that happened earlier in the night. Misaki's mind was completely taken off her own night, speaking to the boy. She even felt a little disappointed when he was called by his father.
"I've got to go," he said, jumping off the chair. He was about to leave when he stopped himself, turning back and kissed Misaki's hurt wrist. "Mummy says that makes the pain go away."
"Thank you," Misaki smiled, sliding off the chair and was squatting next to the boy. She took his right hand in hers gently and stroked each of his fingers while chanting. "One rainbow, two sugar, three candies, four puppies, and five kisses." She ended the odd spell with a kiss to each of his fingers. "Now you are healed."
The boy happily bounced back to his father, turning around to give Misaki an enthusiastic wave until he was completely out of sight. Suddenly feeling empty, Misaki returned to her seat and let out a soft sigh. Those who did not live her life envied her, but she wondered if they would still feel the same if they knew how lonely this life was.

Zi-O 20 subs are out~...
... And I can finally sit down!~
That’s right, after a long day of work, I can finally come home, eat a weird concoction of linguini, chicken, tomato, and parmesan, and watch my children do things while I plot their untimely deaths!
... That... Sounded really creepy. Please, no one take that out of context.
In no order:
Well, we start w/ a lot of the same thoughts.
Kuro Woz is lying to me again...
I hate Shiro Woz.
So does Geiz, pretty sure.
The watch is symbolic, I suppose. Doesn’t it restart at the end?
Okay, so I think I kinda understand why Quiz is still Quiz, even though there’s Another Quiz--bc w/ all the others, they were previous Riders. The Another Riders were created in the same year that those Riders existed, which was in the past. But Quiz is (allegedly) from the year 2040. So he doesn’t exist yet, in 2019, when Another Quiz was created. And going by how he knows about his father being said Another Rider, it’s probable that Another Quiz was defeated before he became Quiz. So they never actually existed, technically, at the same time--or, I guess, it might be clearer to say that they didn’t originate at the same time. And for Kinji, we A) only saw Shinobi in a dream and B) it was him who was made into the Another Rider. They were the same person. Did... Any of that make sense?
That is totally the moment he had the idea.
I still don’t know what Oct-Sox is.
Geiz’s ‘please someone shoot me’ face every time Shiro Woz is Shiro Woz.
Geiz is slowly wandering into considering Sougo an actual ally and I don’t know he’s quite realised it yet. He’s trying to predict what Sougo is going to do in a situation and work w/ it. I love my sons.
Also Sou Okuno remains absolutely adorable.
Shiro Woz just wanders in to ruin everything by whining.
No, I’m sorry. Geiz’s mission is to defeat the ostrich.
HE’S SO EMBARRASSED! I LOVE IT!
Geiz is a straightforward, honest, good boo and I LOVE HIM.
He’s super embarrassed. I love tsunderes so much. I just love simple, kinda gruff characters who end up being soft in their own ways, despite trying not to.
Hiromu is like ‘I detect friendship?’ and Geiz is like ‘oh, god, NO’
But I can see why Geiz would be afraid of actually getting close to Sougo. Bc then what if something does happen, even if it’s out of their control, and he does have to kill him? Either he won’t be able to go through w/ it at all, or it’ll destroy him bc he’s such a loyal and honest and true person. Especially since he’s so uncomfortable showing feelings et al. Like, he’s just so genuinely afraid of going through more pain and loss than he already has. God, I wish we had more backstory on these kids.
I still hate Shiro Woz’s laugh.
Wow. They’re henshining quite close to each other...
I’m still pretending that the using of the W Armour was significant and NO ONE CAN STOP ME.
Geiz just stands around and watches Hiromu punch his dad for a bit.
Okay, the giant W is funny.
I told you, he’s Red Buster.
Okay, so he does have a kid at this point.
Geiz is just like ‘this is the moment awkward moment of my life, and I am an extremely awkward person.’
The hilarious thing is that it didn’t even look like Shiro Woz hit Geiz that hard. But he still went flying.
I’m minority offended by the BeyonDriver voice doing the Quiz Driver voice transformation announcement.
DON’T TAKE THINGS SHIRO WOZ HANDS YOU!
Yeah! I knew I remembered right! They watch works now!
Is that Revive from the back or the front? I can’t tell. It’s still definitely only one form. Didn’t that magazine indicate it had two?
I’m wondering if it was Geiz’s sheer stubbornness that he didn’t fall over.
Shut up, Shiro Woz. Sentimentality is gonna save the bloody world.
Also, stop trying to destroy Geiz’s feelings, he worked hard for those.
And... Then he just walks away w/ his hand in the air like he’s got a french cigarette. ... It’s gotta be the beret.
Hiromu is concerned, but can’t do much.
Well, yes, I think Geiz Revive is going to help change history but not in the way Shiro Woz intends it to.
Tsukuyomi’s outfit was again adorable and I wish I’d seen more of it.
Some still tell me Sougo at least looked for Geiz a little. I get having to take Mondo Sr. to a hospital or something, and having to get home, but... Like, dude, Geiz did not look well.
I mean, he goes ‘well’ like he’s about to say something like that. He does look extra down, even though things technically went well-ish. I mean, Hiromu was able to learn what he wanted.
I’m now vaguely concerned Kuro Woz did something upstairs. I get that it’s dramatic, I just... How did he get up there? Did he teleport? Climb through a window w/ his scarf?
... *smallest violin*
He’s offering to feed Kuro Woz. Does Kuro Woz eat? I don’t believe we’ve seen Kuro Woz eat? Someone get this boy some takoyaki.
Wait. So... Does this mean that the power up is broken? Is that why he’s asking Junichiro to fix it? So... Is Junichiro going to fix it, or is... I don’t know, Sougo’s... I don’t know, desire to stop his mirror self and help his friends?
... *is a sucker for characters gaining power through their desire to protect the ones they care about*
I mean, the Zi-Ot3 appear to be back together next ep, so... And if Sougo gets stuck in a mirror world, then Geiz and Tsukuyomi will be on their own again Another Ryuuga... Well, and Shiro Woz, I guess, but no one likes him.
Hrrrrrrrgh. I just want my kids to be safe and happy and love each other, okay. Also I can’t wait until the sixth.
Anyway, that’s all. Digital croissants for anyone who read all that.
Point is, I love the Zi-Ot3, I’m kind of fond of Kuro Woz in a ‘if you got a redemption arc and joined the squad I would be glad’ way. Shiro Woz still needs to gtfo and keep his maybe-hazy foreshadowing implications away from my precious tsundere.
That’s it for now.
