In light of Remuria dropping in about 24 hrs from now, here are my fan-designs of Egeria and Remus

I was thinking of giving Remus more Primordial sea-esque palette, but decided against it sometime during the process (these are the designs I currently use in the animatic (it’s almost halfway done)).

I wanted Remus to be more ~shiny~ compared to Egeria. I also gave Egeria Celestial handcuffs lol. She’s also more ghostly compared to Remus bc she’s technically kept away physically (and this is more of her “projection”/ghost), but it’s more evident in the animatic itself (at least I hope ahaha)

Profile shots of my Scylla (both pre-Remuria collpase and game timeframe) and Remus headcanon appearances. Remus' design was mainly inspired by his artifact set, and Scylla's by his in-game appearance and the Bathysmal Vishaps. I think some of Siegfried Kaslana from HI3 snuck in as well for some reason tbh.

Cane user Annabeth

Annabeth has way more gray hair from holding up the sky than Percy and the hair in that spot always grows gray

Nico uses mobility aids (forearm crutches or his wheelchair depending on the situation)

Deaf or hard of hearing Will Solace!

Nico, the Apollo cabin, and some other campers know sign language and its getting more widespread across camp

Percy and Annabeth canonically have breathing problems after Tartarus so Will gave them both inhalers

Not exactly a headcanon, but Annabeth still struggles with her dyslexia and ADHD like most other demigods! She gets incredibly frustrated when she has problems with her reading or when her ADHD made things more difficult in school

I imagine New Rome University is a lot more equitable when it comes to ADHD, dyslexia, and other things, but its not perfect

Magnus Chase is Autistic (totally not bc i kin him and im autistic)

Remus uses some kind of mobility aid whether it be a cane, crutches, or a wheelchair

Jonathan Sims uses a cane

Collei uses and wheelchair

Usagi Tsukino had inattentive ADHD

Infiniry Arc!Hotaru Tomoe uses a wheelchair

Ami Mizuno will end up suffering through gifted kid burn out and the other scouts end up helping her through it and helping her not blame herself as much

Very excited to share the final version!!! Working on this project was a great learning opportunity~ I'm very happy that I was able to take this idea and put it to (digital) paper and actually finish the animatic. A building block on the way to next projects!~ (after I take some rest lol)

Currently thinking of either making "Ruthlessness" with fall of Khaenri'ah OR "Antihero" featuring Phos's journey up to their return to the Earth with Lunarians. We'll see how it goes~

Shit I just realized I never actually posted my (mostly) finalized Remus and Scylla designs outside of reblogs to previous sketches. If you can tell I am down HORRENDOUS for my own Scylla.

Remuria looks stunning and Cassiodor, you really did follow your heart and a will to write your own fate. As what I have understood from the quest, Remus wants to defy the prophecy and fate of his people, by surrending their mortal body and cast them in a stone golem, however as Cassiodor mention, they are still mortal in essence. Boethius is blinded by power and put himself up to the pedestal. Phobos mention that they grant them their wishes, and cease their civilization in the end. It seems that Fate only happens when they only focus too much of the cause and temporary resolution, but not something out of the box, a long term resolve to save their people. It's like Remus is an opposite result of what will happen to current Fontaine.

It made me realize that, during archon quest act five, the prophecy still happened, however, the resolution that Focalor/ Furina is to trick celestia that the ending is doom and end of fontaine. The solution she made is to give back the authority to the rightful owner, which is the hydro dragon and grant them their wish, to be a full fledged human. He is the god of life after all. To continue to exist, and saved from the prophecy. Since Furina's divinity died to save fontaine, it made me think that the water flooded to fontaine is her power or her control over hydro ( the reason for the flood, then fate takes its course) , just like what happened to Havria, as per Zhongli, even though Havria is not that powerful , the death of a god still cause calamity to its people, hence the reason why they turn into statue covered in salt. (It's just sad to think that, Egeria has the authority since she was made to be the heart of primordial sea however, she is limited to do something to help the people before due to Celestia being a b*tch)

Remuria is interesting and maybe the old civilization demise is like a parallel to some current events in teyvat, if their god or their archon, made the same decision as it happens before. It's like history repeats itself, not to mention about the cycle that the ordo mention. There are lots of possible outcomes, it is just depends on which path they take and what's the best path to take action to.

(I have so many thoughts about the world quest, however I have to read again the artifact set, books and notes again to make sure I understand it right, so far the quest is short but beautiful, I love swimming along with Scylla while we made the final note that Remus gave to Scylla)
