Here's Flame and Mulberry!!

Flame was an OC my high school sweetheart came up with. He's a Sans x Grillby child.

Mulberry is a Swap!Sans x Fell!Sans ship child I made back in middle school. For whatever reason, I was obsessed with the Sanscest ship children. I think it was because I loved the idea of combining two character designs and fusing design motifs and whatnot.

Also, this Mulberry has no connection to Star-Beau's Mulberry. UT OC | MULBERRY + BIO by Star-Babu on DeviantArt. Complete coincidence that we both have CerryBerry children named Mulberry. Lol.

I've explained half of Mulberry's story in Calli's Pride Art.

Mulberry's story starts before he meets Calli. He canonically was just a child that spawned into existence, and Swap Sans was like "omg so cute! Fell Sans, can we keep him?" And Fell Sans was like "Bitch, why? We can barely afford food on the table." And Swap Sans was like "I'm gonna keep him anyway."

The reason why I chose the CherryBerry ship wasn't because I actually shipped these two. It was because I didn't see any popular CherryBerry children. Like, Ink x Error had Paperjam and Gradient. Ink x Dream had Palette. Geno x Reaper had Goth, and so on and so forth. So I believed that having a Swap Sans x Fell Sans would be well received. My actual opinion on the ship at the time was very meh. I liked Swap!Sans, I didn't like Fell!Sans very much. And that favoritism was obvious in this story. Lol.

Mulberry grew up with a normal-ish childhood. It was obvious that things weren't going great at home. But Mulberry didn't let it sway him at the time. He was a very sweet child. Very friendly and nice to his fellow peer group.

But things at home got progressively worse. Fell!Sans was pretty much the breadmaker of the house. He had to work double time to keep food on the table, and that piled onto an alcohol addiction he apparently had. Swap!Sans had a problem with this because Fell!Sans was pretty neglectful of Mulberry.

Arguments would pile up and one day, in a drunken rage, Fell!Sans severely injured Swap!Sans, ending up with him in the hospital, Fell!Sans loses custody of Mulberry, and Mul ending up in the care of Swap!Papyrus while Swap!Sans was recovering. Once Swap!Sans recovered, he moved in with his brother and that's where Mulberry lived by the time he meets Calli.

The only reason why this story had this child of divorce plot was literally that Mulberry was a Mary Sue, and I, like every young teenager, thought that giving him a tragic backstory would fix that. Now having gone to therapy for several years, I can see where little kid me came up with this story.

Tips for being a story writer: don't give your OCs trauma. Give yourself trauma and then project it onto your OCs. /j

Post Calli's adoption, Mulberry made some friends. One of them being Flamelight. Mulberry and Flame kind of became self-inserts for me and my at the time bf. So they were just pretty much a fluffy romance. I don't remember Flame having much of a story. He's a chill nerd who loves science and has anxiety.

When Mulberry and Flame grew up, Flame got his dad's restaurant, and Mulberry became a baker. having that passion since he was a kid. They have a child named Cambri Pepper who was close to his cousin Juniper.

I have a fondness for Mulberry because he was the first time I started posting my art and my OCs. I opened up an ask blog on Amino, and I had frequent engagement with it. It made me feel like I had something to give to the world, and that the world appreciated what I did.

I want to start up another ask blog at some point. Not now. But at some point.

But plot twist, it goes off the story a bit with a lot of changes to fit the two together better

For example, none of the characters die, they either recover or just get spared/spare Dust

Plus Mad has four children instead of 3 to fit in his main four children

Dust also has multiple children, all the kids he has now, he just has to save 1 from Monika while the rest are safe with whoever is Chris in this

Also the ending is incredibly different, before trying to face Monika, both her and Dust have a self aware moment of "Ok the original lore is that Miranda has to use the main character's kid to bring back her own.. But I(Monika) don't have a child so like idk why I even have your kid" so she just gives back Dust's kid, helps him find the others, and he just kinda takes interest in her power and becomes her successor. Getting Geno back too and just staying with Monika and the others.

There's also extra 'roles' to add more characters. For example, Blue, G, and Sci all become Monika, Mad, and Dust's "prized possessions" aka just their partners bc I said so. Blue gets with Mad before Dust arrives, Sci is "owned" by Monika before Dust arrives but only becomes her boyfriend near the end of Dust's adventure, and G is just sorta taken by Dust a few weeks into being Monika's successor. Btw, Blue and Sci are simps in this AU BECAUSE WHO WOULDN'T BE WHEN YOU HAVE MAD MIXED WITH THE VAMPIRE LADY AND MONIKA MIXED WITH MOTHER MIRANDA. YOU WOULD BE INSANE NOT TO SIMP FOR THAT!

But yeah. Thought of that on the spot all bc I thought of an RE: Village version of Blueberrylatte/Mad x Blue. Surprisingly this ship helps me create a lot of CV aus.

Coming back on my under verse phase a little and now thinking about it.. PJ x fresh was always a little weird depending on ur head canons

A lot of people hc fresh, error, and geno as siblings

And pj was usually hc as error and inks child

So that would make fresh pj's uncle

WHY WE'RE SO MANY PEOPLE SHIPPING PJ WITH HIS UNCLE?? (not everyone has these hcs tho so)

If you didn't have one of these head canons then the ship was fine but otherwise what the sigma 😭

stray killer happens upon carrion murder's universe. and after getting blasted to hell and back, killer finally notices something - that this murderous sans reeks of death. and then reapertale chara comes in, all like "hey, maybe it would be fun to steal one of reaper's favorite mortals", and killer goes "get lost, you child" to the literal embodiment of chaos (he has no fuck to give about chara anymore).

and while killer is busy trying to corrupt this world, as an agent of chaos (stg4 imperative) would do, chara goes behind his back and encounters murder for the first time, all sweet like "you know? i can grant you the best thing you can wish for. we can make the human stop, forever". they show murder the hundreds of specimens that killer keeps (killer will be so pissed after learning someone touches his things afterwards), mostly red human souls that are effectively trapped in containers with no chance of escaping. maybe killer has learned from error about how to capture these pesky souls through much trial and error (heh). and murder is... interested.

but like, of course he vehemently refuses. like, who do this sassy lost child think he is? he's a loner, he doesn't trust easily. if he had done what thousands of voices said over and over again in his head, he wouldn't be here at all. divine intervention? get that thing away from him! he's doing his own hell right here.

and then maybe killer manages to capture murder's human and extract them from the universe. but then maybe by doing that, he corrupts this universe to such an extent that everything just starts to break down slowly but surely. and murder, being part of this world, is also affected by the corruption, but at the same time he's weirdly giddy at the fact that the human is gone. killer (and chara) is like "enjoy your broken happy ending as much as you can". and chara still wants to invite murder to their side and they fail of course. killer couldn't care less honestly, but he admits murder is a pretty fun playmate/opponent while it lasts, so maybe he could just humor chara's insistent wish just this once.

maybe once everything's been broken down to unintelligible and unworkable lines of codes, once murder is all content withering away with his universe as if he's going to an eternal happy dream with the remnants of his loved ones, he wakes up only to find himself an outcode, all courtesy of killer, who has disappeared.

maybe this could be a geno and/or error thing where murder is left in a blank space (save screen? intro screen? that weird ass corrupted space that error and ink encounter in fatal error comic?), the remaining space of his universe. he would go crazy, seeing distorted/corrupted versions of his universe - areas, people, even himself. he's all left alone there, agonizing over the endless nightmare until one day killer comes back as if he just went out for a smoke and forgot about the family he left at home...

meanwhile, crow is the first one to notice something strange. he hasn't been able to go into murder's universe for quite a while. so he consults core frisk (his usps boss) at first, who doesn't know what has happened either. uh oh, now reaper is also concerned, since core frisk is supposed to be omniscient. but because they're all operating within their codes, they cannot cheat and bypass the order basically. and the only one they can ask for help in this instance is error, who is... uh... not nice...

and then we can add more drama by adding my underrated ship reapercore (reapertale chara x core frisk) in here. all the drama!!! this is a telenovela of my making!!!

even in carrion trio, i cannot escape the kist urge...
