Day 8-Post OP Update: I'm still in a lot of pain. Been up through the night with pain. The bruising is still pretty bad. It's really weird because I think my 2 bruises under my chin, on the side look like wings. Today would have been my grandpa's 97th birthday so I think it's a sign from him that he's taking care of me. We’re 6 DAYS away from hearing the full @taylorswift “Lover” album!! Ahhh!! I’m in love with her new song “Lover” so I can’t wait to hear all the other songs. Love you so much @taylorswift !! 💞 @taylornation @tree-paine @nhett On another note, here’s an update on my surgery recovery. I’m about 12 days out and still in a lot of pain which is to be expected because this was a big surgery. I also have these new sores on my lips that developed after the surgery that are a pain. So went to the oral surgeon yesterday and he said I’m looking good and I’m going to look even better once the swelling goes down.

So it's a little over 1 month since I had my chin surgery so I wanted to take a new picture to show you how I'm healing and give you an update. This has been a rough surgery to recover from, as everything is with all my diseases though. I was doing better with the pain but this past week has been really bad. I've been up through the night with pain. Now, part of it might be that I'm a side sleeper and right now, it just hurts to sleep on any angle of my face. The bruising got better but came back, which is really weird because it was in the exact same spot. I'm still swollen. I'm already so much better in terms of the end goal, which is to have my lips meeting on their own. So there's my update. I’m in so much pain right now. My back is killing me right where they took my old neurostimulator out and scar tissue formed. I never had pain like this. And my jaw and chin are hurting particularly bad tonight/morning. Thank the good Lord for @taylorswift ! I have “Lover” on repeat. Anyway, trying to make it until my next pain pump bolus at 1:54 am. Day 6-Post OP Update: I’m in a ton of pain and very swollen. Today and yesterday have been my worst days which is why I didn’t post an update. The bruising is starting to go down some. I’m excited because my lips actually touch on their own and stay closed. They are centered too. Most people don’t know this, but after my fall last year where I landed on my face, my lip moved off center. So I’m ecstatic that it’s even. I’m just bored out of my mind though. I wish I had people/family to come visit me or call or message me. I want to thank all of my friends, mainly Swifties, for your loving well wishes! It means the world to me! I know I can always count on Swifties. 😘 @nhett

Day 4-Post OP Update: Just got done at my follow-up with my oral surgeon. Everything is looking good. He took the tape off that helped with the swelling. He said he took a lot of bone out and the plate he needed to take out was under bone so he had to dig a lot to get to it. He still wants me on soups for a few more days. I go back next Friday. It still hurts really bad but it makes me feel good to see the progress of my lips touching on their own. I'm literally dying of boredom though, lol. Day 2 post-OP. I'm hurting SO bad! My neck and under my chin is bruised so much. I'm even more swollen than yesterday. Feeling really miserable, bored, and down. With all the #LoverSecretSessions and fans getting to meet @taylorswift , I just feel like my dream is crushed yet again. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the fans that met her but it's so hard when I have been a fan for so long and never get noticed or get to meet @taylorswift . It's hard to get noticed when you're disabled like me to get noticed because I can't make videos dancing to Tay's songs or jump around. I just feel hopeless. Just got home from my surgery.  It went good. They got my IV on the first try. I'm super swollen though and hurting a lot. I have to wear the tape on my chin for at least a few days. My nurse Ace is taking care of me as seen in one of the pictures. 🐶 I would appreciate any prayers!  Thank you! 💉💊 _______________________________________________________________

My mom, dad, and Nicole surprised me with this cute cat card and my mom took the time to try to match the cats on the card to @taylorswift 's cats. She did pretty good! And my mom saw that I Iiked this big stuffed unicorn in the store so she surprised me with a similar one. I love it so much because it fits into the "Lover" era. It definitely eased my pain.
