And Kisuke, fingers playing with the long strands of Ichigo's hair, leaning down to rest his chin on a shoulder that is oddly shorter than it should be (just short enough to fit within Kisuke's arms, he thinks deliriously), thinks he understands that.

Humans talk about romance and being in love as a certainty, even when not all of them experience it, and Kisuke doesn't understand that — but he does understand the difference of feelings, does understand that what he has for Ichigo is much different from what he has for Yoruichi or Tessai or the kids, and maybe a human wouldn't entirely understand it, but for them? For them, that's all that matters.

He presses a kiss to Ichigo's shoulder, soaking in their warmth and solidity.

“If you wish to call it being in love,” Kisuke says, “then I will, too. Because I love you dearly, no matter what some of my desires may or may not be. And I care this way for you uniquely, and not for anyone else.”

Ichigo half turns, a smile on their lips. “I know. Who else would ever understand me but you?”

And it's such a simple question, such a simple feeling, but it delights Kisuke anyway.

For so long, he himself couldn't comprehend what was going on in his heart and soul, but Ichigo...

Ichigo just does, and how could Kisuke want for anyone else, when he already has the perfect fit for him?

He cradles Ichigo's face with more care than he is used to offering to anything alive, and looks into golden, molten eyes.

“That,” he murmurs, “is the most perfect thing you could have told me, my dear.”

Ichigo grins, nuzzling softly into Kisuke's hand. “I know. Kitsune, remember?”

And once upon a time, that would have been a threat; once upon a time, Kisuke would have reacted to it with violence and the need to push them away— but not anymore.

Right here, right now, that sounds like a promise.

I know; you are not human, but neither am I, and, I know you, and I am tricks given form, but why would I trick you when I can just be with you?

“Yes,” Kisuke laughs. “Our kitsune, through and through.”

And kitsunes are force of nature, a creature that should never be kept, but Ichigo leans into him, soft and warm and present, and Kisuke isn't keeping them. Ichigo is simply being, with him. With the family they adopted. With the leash they formed for themself.

Oh, hey, it's a bunch of character head-canons I've forgotten. - (Part One? Master List?)

Even though they're not complicated to make, George struggles with instant-foods, like packet noodles with flavour packets.

The Arthur family line has freckles, with Skarloey, they are very faint, while Marie and Arthur Scarlet's are visible.

Like actual bats, the Vampir-Copil being bat faunus would likely have them hibernate or sleep longer in Winter periods.

My idea for Oz & Salem being at odds with each other in the Chibi sketches I did would have had a comedic reason we'd flashback to, like Ozpin forgetting tog et the chicken out the freezer

Because of how he was built, Oliver lacks an Aura of his own, unlike Penny who has some of Pietro's, and (RWBY) Dash who would have some of Ironwood's so Pietro was not straining his body.

Casper ends up with a Grimm dragon as a pet called Torch, likewise, his later younger sister Alice would get a Grimm house-cat, though if I was to play him, Hazel would have had a Grimm mouse called Buttons as company.

A quirk of Alice was her being unintentionally scary, like being caught saying she "can't to see you burn", only for it to be she's making toast or roasted marshmallows.

Jess & Shinobu don't like dogs much, Jess had a nasty scare as a child by an aggressive dog, while Shinobu is like Blake in that being a cat faunus, the reaction is more normal.

Casper & Veronica's daughter is called Victoria, but it's not know what she inherits from her father and his abilities.

Eventually, when working with the heroes, Casper would stop using his "human" appearance guise with blond hair and blue eyes, since the only reason to keep it up is to help get around places without questions of why he looks like that.

Sunny & Angel are supposed to have accents but I've never settled on which, at most, Sunny would have been Australian, while Angel was tied between French and German.

Sunny being barefoot most of the time is mostly due to where she was born and raised being a beach town where questions about a lack of shoes are less of a thing, though her schools had them required as part of the uniform, and didn't allow sandals for things like science or workshop classes where it'd be stupid-dangerous.

Linda is asthmatic, and used to wear braces around two years before she'd end up at Beacon.

Ichigo's designs are based on past lead Kamen Riders in that they're what they'd look like if you took them and made them into clothing pieces, so for his main look, he resembles Kamen Rider 1gou.

Casper would have maybe learned he is not Salem's first child at some point after finding a painting of his mother, Ozma, and their daughters, this would have likely played into his defection.

BluBerry was an android OC who I would have revived to be an assistant to Ironwood, they are effectively non-binary/genderfluid as they composed of the twin AIs, the male Blu, and the female Berry, I would have likely updated the spelling to be BlueBerry proper too.

Venus was originally a villainess and head-villain of her kind, but I ended up liking her being a kind motherly-type, so she was made good, and later, the mother to Casper & Alice in the Mythril universe.

Likewise, Chrome was intended as a dubious-evil character, but the idea with the Authors then became to have them be mostly neutral figures as Mythril's gods.

Had my story been done a little better and not been playing catch up, Oliver as part of Team Salem likely would see him beefing with Tyrian, though for Chibi sketches, it's more Oliver and Tyrian having comedic moments of trying to set the other up into being punished by Salem.

Being androids, Penny, Dash, Rusty, and Oliver can switch off their hearing and sight if they wish.

George's usual pairs of socks have bunnies on them.

In her younger years, Alice would have dressed up Salem and pretended to be a mini-me of her for teddy bear parties.

Current Education: UA Academy, Hero Course. Best Jeanist is his self-proclaimed Best Friend (Kai actually has many now), as they were in the class together and seated next to each other. The blond decided that Kai would look good in the lion aethetic, and so designed a lion-based outfit (no, not a fursuit). Kai wanted to protest, given that he hated being a lion plushie, but arguing with Hakamada was a lost cause. So Kai compromised with the name "Night Lion" (   ).

Since super-jumping is rather meh when compared to all the other Quirks in the world, he needs a team. Also to save him from literally drowning.

The Karakura Gang will have reincarnated to reassemble the five-man band (Tatsuki's gonna help her child bestie friend this time around! Even if she has to be a quirkless Support Hero this time around!), and Keigo and Mizuiro will probs be quirkless or something.

Just because I can, Tatsuhime's gonna happen this time around, Keigo stays with Mizuiro cuz he doesn't wanna be alone, and Chad will stick with Uryuu. Their powers might probs be reincarnated as Quirks, as well.

...And also, some Shinigami (probs from Squad 12) fucked around and found out, recreating the Mod Souls. So Ririn, Noba, and Kurodou are reborn, in a sense, with the same names and powers as before. Kai finds out about this, and finding out that said Shinigami's gonna use them for evil (or I can have them be the same organization, but a subdivision, that tortured and abused Eri, two birds with one stone), Kai and his team (and Best Jeanist, all hands on deck) convince the Mod Souls to help them kill their creator (may or may not take the recipe, if available).

Does Best Jeanist already live with someone? If not, he probs roped Kai into living with him as well. Do they have the money and space to take in three basically-kids like all four of them once were? The Shinigami probs put them in gigais or did a lil' Grave Robbing. 

Unknown to pretty much all the living, Kai still keeps in contact with SS and the soul cameras from the 686.5 one-shot through a combination of Urahara, Mayuri, and Ichi finagling/harassing them to let him have one, too. Ichigo was pretty much the only familiar face he's known in 200-or-so, so they or may not have been something more. After TYBW, He's been learning all sides of his powers since. Ichi decided to grow out his ass-long hair, and once he died, the Hollow side of him bled into his appearance like Artbook or 2nd Anni Ichi (but also with the two horns from when Shiro was kicking Ulqui's ass).

Kai is also in the fight against All for One. Asshole's been escaping them for almost since Quirks were first formed.

Over the years, the ability to see ghosts has developed to be a Quirk. Once they die, their epic powers are locked away for if or until they become Shinigami or Arrancar (like Starrk and Lilynette) and unlock their Zanpakuto. Both the Quirkless and the Quirk people have Equal Chance of having or not having spiritual pressure and unlocking epic powers, just like everyone else.

Snowy is a very calm natured pokémon, they're a very caring pokémon, similar to Jayson He acts like an parental figure to the group, same as Wuni he usally like to makes the place colder. She's from Alola

All of them have tera type dark, do to my job of working with Team Rocket, I don't really care for their goals, i mostly stay because of the high payment and me having a huge crush on the admin Petrel, he usually helps me with my disguises and he acts more nice to me compared to other grunts, do i have a chance?

But since I moved to Alola, since i fell like the region is more of a home to me, I study a bit of taking care of pokémon, and the Aether Foundation was really popular in the region, sometimes i do freelance work on there by helping with the heath of the pokémon there my gay ass also have a crush on the admin Faba He's a bit of a snob, but our Hypnos do well togheter, so he likes that about me, I love hearing him talk about his job, i don't know, i fell dumb

I think that, out of everyone, Shinji would be one of the ones with the closest relationship to his zanpakuto spirit. I imagine him as manifesting Sakanade at every possible opportunity, just to have them there. Like, he’s not even bothered if the other vizards walk in on him hanging out with them. Before the whole hollowfication incident, he was always the one to give the soul reaper equivalent of Health Class at the academy, teaching all the new recruits what it means to be able to manifest their zanpakuto spirits, and how to maintain a good relationship with them.

Which is why, after the quincy battle, Kyoraku nominates him to give Ichigo “The Talk”. After all, he’s beginning to connect to Zangetsu on a completely new level, and hell if Kyoraku is going to have that conversation with a teenage boy. So Shinji goes and gives his best explanation, and answers all Ichigo’s awkward questions. 

That night, Ichigo starts experimenting. He’s fresh out of Nimaiya’s forge and he’s been meaning to sit down and have a talk with the voices in his head, anyway.

His hollow self is there in the room with him almost as soon as the thought crosses his mind.

“Hey,” he says, “this is cool! How come no one ever told us about this before?”

“I guess...there were always more important things to worry about?”

“That’s a fair point.”

“Where’s the old man? Can I bring him out, too?”

“I think he figured you wouldn’t want him here.”

“Well, I do want him here,” Ichigo says, squinting his eyes and concentrating.

“Ichigo.”

“Oh, there he is!”

“Wow...”

Slowly, Ichigo reaches out and puts a hand on first the one, then the other.

“This is...weird.”

“Bad weird?”

“No, I don’t think so. Just different. It might take some getting used to.”

“Do you plan to summon us to you often, then?”

“I dunno. Shinji said I should do it regularly. Do you think we can do it on Earth, too?”

“I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t be able to.”

“Never know until we try, I guess.”

“Right. So,” he asks, turning to his hollow self, “you’re Zangetsu, right? I mean, that’s your name?”

“Yes.”

“You look different than the last time I saw you.”

Zangetsu smiles. “Looked in a mirror recently?”

“Well. Not, like, super recently, I guess.”

“This is who you are now, Ichigo. Little older than before, huh?”

“I guess so.” There’s a pause as Ichigo takes that in, staring at Zangetsu’s face. Then he turns, to the manifestation of his quincy powers.

“And you? What should I call you?”

“I do not know. I have no name, not the way you or Zangetsu does.”

“Well, I have to be able to call you something.”

“I will answer to whatever name you see fit to give me.”

“Hm...then, how about Tensa? Like Tensa Zangetsu? Is that ok?”

“Fine by me,” Zangetsu says. “I think it suits you.”

“Tensa...very well. From now on, I will be Tensa.”

Ichigo smiles. “Ok. Tensa it is. Tensa and Zangetsu.”

“Hey Ichigo,” Zangetsu says, and then hesitates. “You know...You know I only ever had your best interests at heart, right? If I seemed angry, it’s because you were angry. I know we weren’t always on the best of terms, but I only ever wanted to help...”

“I know. I didn’t understand that before, but I get it now. Thank you, thank you both, for everything up until now.”

“Of course.”

“What he said. So! What now, now that we’re all on good terms?”

“I don’t know. What do you guys want?”

“We want whatever makes you happy, Ichigo.”

“Specifically though, right now, I think what you need is sleep. It’s been a tough couple’a days. You need rest.”

“Oh.” Ichigo stares dumbly from one to the other for a moment. “Do you, like. Stay here for that, or do you go back again?”

“Do you want us to stick around?”

Then Tensa shrugs and says, “the nights are cold here.”

And Zangetsu shrugs and adds, “the futon is probably big enough for the three of us.”

So Ichigo shrugs too, and says, “alright then. Stay.”
