Jaune was barely holding on. He was at the limited of his ability to hold his current form. He need to rest, and with Nora and Pyrrha still shifting and shuffling in attempts to get comfortable and fall asleep... he was stuck pretending to be resting. His family had warned him, that his dream was a mistake. That he would suffer for trying to meld with human and faunus society.

Finally when he was at the utter most limit of his strength, he sensed the slow steady breathing that signaled everyone was finally completely ensconced in dreamland. Sliding from under his covers, with unnatural stealth he moved across the room to the ensuite bathroom.

As soon as he was able to silently latch the door closed he closed his eyes and sighed. His cloths melted away, and his body morphed, adjusting to his true-form. The alterations to his body were surprising. His hips widened, as his behind plumped, his thighs thickened and he gained a prominent pair of breasts.

His eyes opened, and she smiled. Her nearly transparent milky white body stretched J(a)une was back in her natural form. Slime-girls were a forgotten race on Remnant, and J(a)une was one of the rarest. A Purity Slime. Her natural ability to remove toxins, and impurities making her essentially impervious to illness, and toxic substances.

She could have had a peaceful life, away from danger, following in her mother's footsteps and becoming a nurse practitioner... but she wanted to do more. Stepping into the shower, she plugged the drain and turned the faucet just enough to cause a very slow drip. Then she melted, allowing her body to become a puddle filling the shallow depression that formed the tiled floor of the shower.

request: can I request some headcanons for Kev trying to explain to everyone what a video game is? (and everyone’s favourites if they have them)

• Kev would just be playing on his Nintendo Switch (most likely the origami king cuz he gives me those vibes) and the ghost trio would just be behind him just staring at the screen.

• “Kev, my musical kitten mind explaining what is that man who is fighting doing you know... HAMMERING A GIANT PAIR OF SCISSORS?!” Georgia (genderbend George) would panic when she sees it uncovering its blades. “Kev it is a big sharp pair!Oh what are people teaching kids these days!”

• Meanwhile Davita (gender-bend dave) would just be amazed by the animation” Wow so beautiful! The animations surely do know what they’re doing!” She wouldn’t panic as much but would still be confused.

• Brayden (gender-bend Brenda) honestly would just comment on how the ‘thing’ doesn’t make sense. “My dancing chap how can he jump that high with some normal shoes? And how is it that the scissors didn’t kill the man?” he wouldn’t bother asking Kev any more questions after he sees that he is very focused on the game.

• A little later when Kev gets hit by the scissors, Georgia would be crying about how the young man had so much life ahead of him and now he’s dead.

• Kev would just start laughing at her. “Georgia, you do realize it’s just a video game?..” Georgia just looks at him confused, “Guess I have some explaining to do.”

• After Kev explains it would make so much more sense to the trio. “Oooh, so I get it! It’s an action-adventure game in which you can defeat Olly and save the Mushroom Kingdom!” “Yes, Davita, you’re right.”

• Georgia’s favourite would be any video game that has something to do with music.

• Brayden’s would be Just Dance. He loves it.

• Davita’s favourite is for sure Ibis Paint X or anything like that.

J(a)une took a minute or so to focus her thoughts, congealing and molding her outer body to the closest approximation of cloth as she could manage, while also molding her features to her male alter-ego. Taking a look in a conveniently close mirror Jaune smiled.

"This is about as good as I can do." Jaune commented to his reflection, "Now to get back into the room for some real clothes."

Stepping out into the hallway, Jaune scanned both directions, before setting off with rushed steps on an overland return trip to his team dorm. It was an extremely short journey as he turned a corner and walked smack into Professor Goodwitch... or as Jaune knew her... Aunt Glynda.

"J(a)une?"

"Hi?"

"Why are you NOT in your team dorm? Is there a problem?"

"No?"

"J(a)une." Aunt Glynda spoke in a soft but commanding tone. "What happened?"

"I overslept and..."

"Someone nearly discovered you in your true form?"

"Yes."

"Who, and how?"

"I forgot to lock the door and Pyrrha walked in so... so... I... I..."

"It's okay sweetie." Aunt Glynda cooed as she pulled the shivering form into a warm hug. "It's okay."

"It was disgusting... I... I... I'm never doing that again..."

"J(a)une your mothers and I warned you, about being here. The chances of being discovered, or even being hurt are so high..."

"But..." Jaune started to counter, his/her body rippling and reverting from that of a clothed young man, to that of a translucent female shaped being.

"J(a)une don't you think it's been enough?" Glynda asked still holding the young woman in a hug. "You did really try, you should be proud. You've done so well..."

"But I haven't graduated, or even completed a single term."

"How many times have you almost been discovered?" Glynda asked in a soft comforting voice.

"A few?"

"Yes a few, and those are only the ones I know about. Gods know how many there are that you... haven't told me."

"I don't want to be a fai..."

"You're not a failure, J(a)une. You never have been."

"But..."

"You can always try again. Spend time getting stronger."

"But..."

"Listen sweet-heart. Go to my quarters, and use my spare scroll. Talk to your moms. See what they advise, and consider it." Glynda gave J(a)une a soft smile before kissing her lightly upon her forehead. "I can always get you readmitted, if you decided to head home."

"And if I choose to stay?"

"They you and I are going to start training."

"Pyr is already..."

"Ms Nikos can train you in combat." Glynda countered. "But I'm going to speak to Suu, for advice."

"Advice? What advice can mom give?"

"How I can help you gain better control of your shape-shifting abilities." Glynda gave J(a)une a soft almost motherly smile, "That's the real issue correct? You're having a hard time keeping you form?"

J(a)une just nodded.

"That's what I thought." Glynda release J(a)une, and then pulled out keycard from her vest pocket. "Quickly now. Before the halls fill up."
