So…ummmm new obsession dropped Oop-🤭👁️👁️
I swear I need/want to make one of those color-coded charts that identify whose frenemies, dating, hate each other, etc. etc.~ I wanna say this is for an AU, but the whole show is sketch comedy so imo it’s basically an AU of real life so there’s no need😭😭😭
But yeah, they’re all so fun to draw go watch Right Now Kapow!!! :3 Ik RNK clips are on YouTube, everything is on Amazon Prime; but you have to pay for it. But I’ve been streaming it on wcostream.one but it’s better to watch it on a tablet or phone to actually avoid pop-ups💀

BIBLICALLY ACCURATE MONSTER HIGH MY BELOVED 🙈🙈🙈🙈🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️💓❤️💞💙💕❤️💞❤️🧡💗🩶🩶💞💘💜🤍💖💙💙💕💜💖
Even MORE MORE REDESIGNS, lets see what my brain has to offer:
(Also sorry for the MH redesigns hiatus, I go to college now and its pain :D)
Draculaura: mostly inspired by the haunt couture doll, but keeps the pigtails and boots. In my version, hemophage vampires and emotional vampires have different ear shape (so when I do Kieran you'll see)
Ghoulia Yelps: simple, geeky clothing you would see on a future champion mathlete. Sadly her and her team never made it to the competition, odd. And her head seems to have puntures, but from after the accident?
Deuce Gorgon: the son of medusa and a human?? Well that would explain his lack of golden wings and claws. Maybe he is compensating his half bloodness with a lot of snake imagery.
Gooliope Jellington: goop! Circus goop! Made in a lab with tons of luv and DNA from the blob, so she needs to sustain themselfs with random stuff, cause the goop eats all! The blob can shrink and growth as much as they like, cause it's all goop!
Abbey Abominable: I was so mad at the doll when I realized that she wasn't a hairy yeti, and even more at the show when they showed male yetis like, let the girl be hairy and tall! That's what being a yeti is all about! Also no longer ice powers cause that's weird, but she can have a "frigid aura"
Clawdeen Wolf: furry, lets just say it. But now with a purple and green combo cause it just works, what a fashion queen, what an icon! Her clothes are a fusion between her original and haunt couture outfit. Also a little pet peevee I have with many werewolf designs, why not make the tail with the same texture as the hair on the head? Unless its a wig I guess, but it just confuses me.

Idk who to draw next! We'll find out on the next episode!

Crochet and knitwear- The Haute Hobby
Fostered by the push for creativity experienced during quarantine, many young people took it upon themselves to find new means of creation while stores were closed, masks were on and boredom hit an all time high. The niche community of crocheters on social media sites, particularly TikTok, surged in members as professionals and beginners alike proved the seemingly intricate process to be much simpler than one would think upon first glance.
Thousands of videos made by your average adults and teenagers displaying “what they made in a month as a beginner crocheter" enticed viewers, as particular styles became trending micro-trend pieces across Pinterest and Instagram. As these styles grew in popularity, consumers were challenged with a choice; whether to purchase from an individual seller on sites such as Depop or Etsy, or to learn to make it themselves. With new users engaging everyday, what was close to becoming a dying art has now been given new life by the young generation. Since 2020, styles have been adapted to what is current and comfortable. Decided by factors such as weather or season, new common and simple patterns are made and given their own personal twist by their maker. a Simple sleeveless top can be given it’s own special flare with ribbons tied across the front, the side, the sleeves or hem.
Tailored to one’s own body, the fit and length is yours to manufacture. While understanding the art form and getting use to the feel, tension and overall make of the garments takes time and practice, experienced crocheters can assure you it is as simple as going stitch by stitch.
Looking back on trends from the 70s in particular, we can understand why this art form took its jump in popularity in 2021, a time when highend brands took inspiration from the decade in their own collections, from Chanel to Rick Owens. Crochet halters and bralettes are commonly created to embody the looks of 70s starlets. Furthered influenced by the 90s simplicity we see trending now, crochet tops have cemented themselves in this Fall seasons fashion trends.

Is thrifting worthwhile? 🧥🧣There’s talk that it might not be what you think it is, but where do you stand on this debate? Read both perspectives at @ponderlyapp …
🔵 Bre: Thrift, by definition, involves reducing waste. The act of thrifting promotes an attitude of restoration rather than disposal, an increasingly valuable behavior as finite resources continue being rapidly depleted by forces such as “fast fashion,” the mass production of which is supported by cheap--even child--labor.
🟢 Maha: The hygiene of thrifted goods is questionable. For instance, clothes aren’t laundered before they’re sold, which increases the risk of bacteria and pests like bed bugs and lice making their way into buyers’ homes. Not to mention ethical concerns…
This is just a fraction of the conversation on Ponderly. Are you interested in thrifting? Jump into the convo and download the app in the link

Weekly Trend- Bows in the Season of Boo!
Hair bows themselves have been around for centuries, consistently circulating in the circles of influential names. However their drop in everyday looks has seemed to deplete this season. It’s rare to go out and not see a ribbon tied in someone’s braids, ponytails, pigtails or even on their tank top straps.
Experimental placements and shades of white, black and red have completely flipped the perception of bows from juvenile to darling and classy. Popularized by young starlets such as Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Sydney Sweeney and peers alike, a ribbon is a simple way to dress up a casual or sophisticated look.
But where did this resurgence begin? The rise of social media influenced aesthetics such as ballet-core, coquette or regency-core has created a trickle-up effect onto the runway. During New York Fashion Week, Sandy Liang adorned her models with bows large and small, across their hair and in front of their eyes. Designer Susan Fang flipped the findings by incorporating small bows on the models faces just below their eyes to mimic tears.
The response from brands at the regular consumer level has been to stock up on clip-in hair bows. Target carries stock sitting at an average of $6 per bow, for adult women. Urban Outfitters now has options ranging from $10-$15. Although these purchases can be convenient due to the barrette clip backing, it’s hard to take the idea of buying a bow for more than $3 serious. A spool of ribbon often goes for less than $5, if you are in need of unlimited bows.
Such is the case with this years halloween, bows became an easy accessory to spice up a costume in efforts to make looks more feminine or decadent. For example, a common costume this year was Marie Antoinette; a look and person characterized by their affluence and decadence could surprisingly be interpreted into a much simpler lens. Paired with a corset top, loose bundles of fabric for the skirt or bloomers, possibly a wig, and many many bows to drive the costume home.
