YEA OKAY THE POSTS I SAW HAD ME SO MISLED ABOUT TLAES. Like, yes it's a "oh god oh fuck" moment, but also... can you blame them?! at all?!?!?!

Lunar, hours before that meeting, just got told that they're untrainable because they have feelings. They're untrainable because they're angry at the person who abused them, so that means they've reached their power limit and will maybe "some day" be useful to the council, but in the meantime, oh well!

LIKE OF COURSE THEY'RE GUNNA TAKE UP REZ'S DEAL OF "GET STRONGER BUT STILL BE ALLOWED TO FEEL" ARE U KIDDING. Dare I say, Rez knew of Lunar's vulnerability at that moment and knew that hitting their soft spots would be easier than forcing them into the negative side of things! Of course Lunar accepted the deal to be trained by Rez. It happened at just the right time.
