This is how they tell me the world ends Review

I previously covered how I was reading This Is How They Tell Me the World Ends by the the New York Times reporter Nicole Perlroth.

The book is filled with spies, hackers, arms dealers, and a few unsung heroes, based on years of reporting and hundreds of interviews, this book lifts the curtain on a market in shadow, revealing the urgent threat faced by us all if we cannot bring the global cyber arms race to heel.

Reading I am reminded of the chaos some of the zero days have caused and how the world as we know it is forever changed due to the actions of the government's. I highly recommend this book.

Tagged by the sensual @mygeekcorner  I’m game because I love oversharing.

I have a very addictive personality.  When I get into something I get into something.  A few wonderful examples are... I made 4 crochet makkachins... when I find something I like to eat, I eat it so often in a three month period that I literally have to go years without eating it before I can look at it again (with the exception of sushi... I can eat sushi ever day forever)... how fast and hard I fall into fandoms... which brings me to...

I sell my soul to fandoms.  And there’s usually a process... Like first I find all the fanart and consume all the fics, and I know I’ve really fallen when I start drawing fanart, but the moment I write a fic, you know I’m so far down in the rabbit hole there’s no coming back (until a new fandom comes and sweeps me off my feet)

I have slightly sadistic tendencies.  I enjoy watching people suffer.  Now let me explain myself before I come off as super creepy.  I am desperately in love with love.  So, when there’s a third party around I just wish them the most unimaginable harm ever.  I’ll use Hannibal as my example since it’s my current obsession.  HanniGram is my OTP (obviously) and I have a thing for reading all the fics that center around Molly Graham and the fall out of Will choosing Hannibal because how dare she try to interfere with true love (even though she had no idea)

I don’t like to drink alcohol.  Mainly because it makes me sleepy, and when I’m sleepy I’m a MAJOR buzzkill so I rather be sober and fun.  All my friends drink, so I know A LOT about alcohol for someone who doesn’t drink, because I like to make the people around me happy.  So I’d be more than happy to mix you a drink or remember why type of whiskey you like or your favorite grapes when it comes to wine, because when my friends are happy, I’m happy.

I love giving people gifts.  For absolutely no reason whatsoever.  You know I love you when you get random things in the mail from me.  xD

I also love collecting people’s addresses for no apparent reason.  (or for fact number 5) I probably have the addresses of every single internet friend I have... just so I can randomly mail them shit.

If I’m reading a fic and I enjoyed it, and the author links their Tumblr, I will find them and scream at them about how much I loved their fic.  

I get so many random headcanons inspired by music.  So I have a tendency to scream at random people about them.  :)

I’m extremely frugal.  So if it’s not on sale I won’t buy it, until I fell down the Yuri on Ice hole.  I’ve never spent so much money on official merch until Yuri on Ice.  And it’s horrible because I can’t buy Yuuri without buying Victor because HOW COULD I BREAK UP TRUE LOVE!?

I love centaurs.  (okay not really).  I love joking about centaurs.  Because did you know that they are hung like horses?

Apple removes iPod nano and iPod shuffle and reduces the cost of the iPod Touch

Today Apple has pulled its iPod nano and iPod shuffle products from its website leaving just the iPod touch available, they have also simplified and updated its pricing on the current iPod touch and in the process they have brought the pricing down by up to $100.

Apple is also making the 32GB and 128GB models the only options removing both the 16GB and 64GB options, this refresh of the iPod touch models now mirror the iPhone 6s options of a 32GB and 128GB model and see a price cut of $50 for the 32GB version coming in at $199 and a $100 drop for the 128GB model now priced at $299. The more affordable iPod touch models are available now on Apple’s website. Apple has also reduced the price of remaining iPod nano and iPod shuffle left in store.

It’s been awhile since we did an article on a jailbreak tweak however we have come across PremiumPlay by iOS developer Tony Kraft, We have covered some of Tony’s tweaks in the past and feel he is a very talented developer. PremiumPlay shows his talents as it provides a way of adding AirPlay functionality to apps that normal wouldn’t allow it.

Once you install this awesome tweak, AirPlay becomes fully functional whilst the current list of supported apps are small we hope to see more added, the current apps supported are:
