Sickening to see this happen...especially to a cool and pretty ethical company like Itch...whereas FunkoPop, in addition to this latest bullshit, also fills landfills with plastic waste:

Funkopop is just overall a nasty mindlessly greedy drain on society and they shouldn't be allowed to take down actually good things like Itch. I hope they get sued over this shit. God knows how much revenue Itch and indie game creators are losing because of this.

Funko (of Funko Pop) have taken down itch.io as Itch alleges they’ve used some “some trash AI powered” brand protection software that reported Itch to its site registrar.

Monday Thoughts

It was a quiet Easter yesterday which was good. We did have a small family dinner and I got to see my niece who I have not seen for a while. Going to go to the museum today and get some volunteer hours in. I may go Thursday as well since I can not pick up my passes until after 12pm that day. I got some good tips for getting the three Funkos I want to get signed. Hopefully the signing go smooth and I do not have to much trouble.

Got some supplies to make some trinkets for Ren Faire. Going to use some of the supplies I had when I was going to make jewelry to sell. May still make some jewelry to sell since I do have a lot of earring hangers. Will give me a chance to be creative and use of some of the supplies I have. Going to start doing some painting and drawing. May even pick up some chalk to start working with. With it about to get hot out both of these activities will keep me out of the hot sun.

My new piercing is doing so good so far. Looking forward to when it is fully healed.

❓How are you celebrating today? ⭐ My bae, @elizabethao1, is an uber fan, so we're spending May the Fourth, Revenge of the Fifth, and the Sith watching the films in release-date order. Our entire house is loaded with her Star Wars merch, so it took a minute to narrow it down for this shot.
