How strong are you?
Well, I don’t hit the gym as often as I should. But last I checked, I could lift up in the 4 thousands? In pounds, at least. Thats somewhere close to uh… 1 thousand some kilos, I think. Maybe closer to 2k.
But I’m not that strong. Seriously. I should be able to lift more than that… gecko genes or whatever. So really I’m not sure. It depends on what standards you hold me to. I’ll get stronger though!
#spinner spins#no seriously though#the average gecko (across various breeds) can be anywhere from 40-80 grams#they can also hold 300 lbs total in grip strength#which is 136077 grams#now that’s effin crazy but my math isn’t mathing rn#so according to STUDIES#each gecko foot can hold about 20 times its own weight#so 40x if you use two#now spinner is 5’8 and a half#the average 5’8 male can weigh 125-150 lbs#I used about 140 pounds bc he’s a bit on the beefy side yk yk#at least I think 140 is beefy?#so 140 lbs x 40 times his grip strength#means that he#can#lift#5600 lbs#..WHAT#??????#my brother in christ#anyways#that’s all I had to say.#rp blog#ask me anything#shuichi iguchi

i yearn for Throne/Crown, Gecko, and Eclipse on moderns, I will be scrying so much when they are put on my moderns.
#the Everlux aren't my cup of tea but part of that may be because i was hoping for a gecko dragon!#the Everlux will probably grow on me over time like most of the other breeds did#when i first started I didn't like guardians#you'd never know it because guardians are actually the dragon type I have the most of now#i love guardians#I hope wind gets a gecko dragon.... or even better a modern gecko dragon in a few years!#what i'm saying is i desperately want a gecko dragon and i do not care where it comes from#maybe baldwin could make it to fit with the komodo dragon bogsneak?

Two beautiful captive bred White Line Geckos
One of these beautiful girls was sent out to Ontario recently! She will be joining another breeding project. A healthy captive bred population means fewer animals taken from the wild! This beautiful species has been exploited by the pet trade. For a long time the majority of animals were wild caught, sold in awful condition for less than $30.
Support captive breeding! Buying from a breeder means you have access to the animal's lineage, care history, feeding schedule, weight, and is generally much cheaper than buying from a store!
There are definitely reputable specialty pet stores out there, which will often purchase stock from local breeders.
These beautiful animals deserve the best of care ♡

Gonna be taking a posting break for a bit, the tanks all need changed up and I don’t feel like taking pictures while I do it.
#it takes me a long time to do things#and I'd don't wanna take pictures of videos until I have all of them changed up#nothing really bad happened#the big tank as fun as it is just doesn't hold in any moisture and needs daily care#and I want it to be set up so I don't have to worry about them when I'm away for a week doing cons#also... some of the species might not be geling well#and the stress might be what's killing the juvenile ones#so I'm going to be also seperating them all into their species as well#will hopefully also make breeding easiler in the future too#not sure what I'll use the big tank for maybe a gecko or a titan millipede if I can get a mister#ANYWAY!#hopefully be all set up by August#I might post next week because I'm going to an expo and I might see some new friends there#but it is a reptile one and I'm in no place to get a reptile yet#need to do more reseach want any little guy I get to be good
