Ok, I went crazy with practice and I drew 2 Shivas and a Sukuna.

I found some anatomical books that I wanted since forever and know I can understand a bit better how 4 arms would work. So it turned out with 3 characters I like drawn just for fun. Enjoy!

They have a disciple Cosplay concert, with Europa singing, Grimnir and Alexiel at the guitar, and Shiva on the drums..... and when Europa was done with her song she just gave Grimnir her mic and tok his guitar and now they switched and it's so damn cute to me

@ last post, seeing people be super sure and passionate about their first fictional character crushes, and then me being here not even being sure of who it was and having no lingering feelings towards the character who i eventually come to the conclusion that was the most likely one, it really tells you all you need to know about my brand of aroace-ism lol

Raid an Ennead or Shiva-level in GBF: Wait 45 minutes for someone to join after getting excited for someone to join 10 minutes in but they’re a leech and don’t help at all. Keep trudging away until finally a non-casual comes in and nukes them.

Thinking abt if I made a gbf primal s/i where they’re odin’s mortal vessel a la Lich. Something something rage of bahamut callback (I have never played RoB) with their bond to Grimmy to justify it. Gbf Grimmy can have two parents as a treat.

also what the heck is a primal. in ffxiv they taught us they were made from the stuff of wishes and dreams (bad). are you born a primal, or made a primal. can people be promoted to be primals. are they biologically different???

anytime any of my friends talk about primals on twitter i have to ask myself if this is xiv or gbf and the answer is always xiv.

primals in gbf are actually created by higher beings call astrals and were actually used for only war. lucilius is an astral that created lucifer and belial, while both of them are indeed primals.....they are more powerful than any normal primal.

while not EVERY primal was used for war, they are incredibly strong and skydwellers were super wary of them bc of the war and their destructive behavior. created by the stars, loved by the skies event tried to have humans change their viewpoint which did work (thank u lucifer and cosmos). primals just love humans a lot and want to have a good relationship with them.

characters like vira were made into a primal (using that loosely due to her and luminiera being bonded/fused together). zooey on the other hand had stated before that she was created by the desires and wishes of the skydwellers and astrals and shiva was born out of prayers.

i havent even talked about everything but this is kinda the gist of it

Making a hypothetical Ava kit if she was a collab character in GBF to tempt it into actually happening (or at least I can find an artist taking commissions who can draw in the Granblue style and also dragons)

She's likely overpowered but tbh most collab characters are stronger than they need be. Extra info below cut!

She's meant to be an attack-focus character with a ramp-up time for nukes, intended for longer battles. I juggled making the skills more accurate to canon/xiv gameplay and what's expected of a character's kit, and decided to go more with the latter. Dragonfire Dive was initially her lvl 1 attack skill, and I wanted each Gaze of the First Brood level to give her a new buff respective to each of the Greatwyrms, but that tends to only be given to characters using Elemental Crests, and those are max out at 5. I intended to give her lower charge bar gain to offset those buffs.

The effects in her unique effects are as follows:

Akh Scorh: -20% ATK & DEF, damage taken is supplemented. Dragonstorms: All foes' and allies' DEF is lowered. Allies' skill DMG cap is boosted. (Duration is indefinite)

I didn't want to outright kill her after Midgardsormr Trance ended, but I wanted the negative effects of the trance to be reflected in gameplay, thus the HP loss over time (It'd be around 5% per turn, I think). I think people could take advantage of this by shielding her to avoid taking more damage and switching her out with Nighthound or something to bypass the two-turn Weakened. Alternatively people could just let her die to activate skills for Fraux and Icarus and such, although it'd be a long wait ww.

She'd likely synergize well with Shiva as she provides Fire ATK up and he provides Dodge/Tank and counter for her Midgardsormr state, or those with switch-in skills for the reasons above.

I kind of want to make alternate versions too, maybe summer or tank alts. Coming up with how to translate the Dragon Sight/Nascent Flash targeted buffs could be fun!

"You know, when you said you needed help, I didn’t think it would be with taking a bath."

Shiva hardly seems ruffled at your statement, only giving you a small smile. You had quickly removed your boots before taking a seat at the edge of the spring, your bare legs dangling in the warm water.

Shiva feels Nagaraja shift, a soft hiss coming from the snake. Like the serpent knows the watchful and observing gaze transformed into admiration.

"You are the only one in trust with my back adherent."

You feel hot and it is not because of the warm water. That warm burning feeling from your neck, creeping up to your cheeks. Definitely not the water.

It couldn't mean anything, you are a mortal, your life hardly a mark on his immortal life. Yet as a strong hand rests on your thigh, moving your limbs to accommodate his large body, you are inclined to believe otherwise.

Shiva sits on the rocks that are conveniently placed where you are sitting. His lower half rests underneath the water, allowing the god to rest between your thighs, his strong back facing you.

You take in a deep breath and breathe out. Trying, and barely managing, to steel your nerves. Honestly it was easier when Shiva asked you to fight him to prove your worth.

Shiva sighs and leans back as your nimble fingers thread in his hair. You carefully move the slick strands away from his back, you are still amazed how much warmer the god before you is as your skin finally makes contact with his.

As your hands touch and kneed the muscles underneath his skin, the god wonders if humans also did this if their bonds extended beyond friendship. If you shared such a moment with someone else.

"You know, the next time, you are washing my back"

You mutter and Shiva chuckles. He could manage that small request the next time he and you would take a bath together.

The both you stay in that beautiful grove for the remainder of the day. Hidden away in the depths of forest, the season of sun and warmth on the horizon. Like a little piece of paradise

urging you right now to look up shin megami tensei v shiva battle theme

...its ok? probably not my favorite boss theme tbh, it feels like the same 10-20 seconds of audio on loop which would get monotonous very quickly to me esp as to my understanding hes a pretty hard boss fight so if you had to retry him a lot it could get old pretty fast

though actually if we're talking about themes associated with him this is more tangential but the lobby theme that smite did when they put him in their game is pretty cool in that they made it pretty similar to actual temple music (i think specifcally this is a type of Vedic rock?)

also it turns out gbf does actually have a theme for him? this one sounds nice as well though i'm not sure if its accurate like the smite one so much as it just sounds cool.
