My names Jake, but I go by Crookshanks online. Mostly because I think its a rad name, but I also think I resemble the titular feline quite a bit— big and wide, red beard, and mostly a loner except for a select few. I’ve been doodling on anything I can get my hands as far back as I can remember, and when I was 16 I discovered American traditional tattooing and the accompanying style. My mom drove me to Connecticut for my first tattoo, and since then I’ve been hooked. My main focus has been on taking the classic motifs you see— panther, rose, lady head, skull, fire —and giving them a little manic twist. Changing mediums from just watercolor paper and inks has helped me turn regular flash designs into some crazy shit. These two skull designs are exactly my kind of traditional. it's weird how I've dedicated this entire week to rewatching She-Ra and getting into the right emotional state for it… and yet, there's no void.

And there's usually a void. When I've rewatched the darkest episodes of Clone Wars, I've felt the pain and the powerlessness and emptiness… The improvs that come out of it are not the same old flat-key mix of lmao-there's-no-way-I'm-puttin'-this-in-words-so-here-goes-music dark and hopeful and painful classic Maggie thang. Instead, it's transforming me away from the bland, I-pretty-much-only-do-school-stuff-and-like-2-other-things character that I've been for the past SEVERAL months; away from that person who just doesn't feel really anything when friends or when people.

Well, now I'm feeling something real when friends or when people. Northern just replied to my barrage of memes, and I genuinely had the interest of asking fleer how fleem's feeling, and I did ask fleer!!! (bueno, creo que le pregunté que how're you doing, pero you know.) And I'm talking to Monthz! And I didn't feel cold and dry towards Krutesh! You seee????????

It's warm. It's "Baby, God Bless You"—not in D-flat major. In D major. It's all real. I want to be so much more than a boring stickfigure that sits in a desk most of the day doing school stuff and then going to the piano and then to do shit. Yes, I do that, and I like doing most of that. But remember what Floris said!!! In the last class of the semester, midiears; he didn't say it for nothing. (Well, I mean, sure, that doesn't mean I stop doing the WeBWorKs and Mastering Physics jsjsjs, but you know.) Look at your friends who went out and marched for their rights. Look at yourself; ask yourself the big questions that Uncle Iroh asked Zuko! Look at Entrapta—how she is unshakably enthusiastic about The Universe ™ no matter the obstacles or the danger!!!

Entrapta is really the one that brought out the most of this in me, just now. I have @bannedd567 to thank for that, for her incredible fic "Soldier, Take Your Time", which is undoubtedly the best fic I have ever read!!! (And that's even though I've only ever read, like, four jsjsjsjs, and I haven't even finished it yet xd.) So thank you so much, to personages fantastical and earthly.

So I'm gonna go ahead and a) finish what I started this week and b) … be there for friends. Always. It is the meaning of my life; the past few months of my life will not make me forget this, because I won't let it.

Adora & Catra in the Sims 4!

For the honor of Gayskull Grayskull! I wanted to add more of my favorite animated characters to my personal Sims 4 world and decided that the save file didn't have enough chaos in it so Adora & Catra were born. I really like how both of them came out but especially with Catra as I had to make ALOT of her stuff myself to fix her canonical design. I tried my best to replicate her feline features like her tail and her ears but when it comes to cat ears in the sims you can only make them sit at a certain angle on the model and sometimes it doesn't always fit with the character you are trying to make but that's ok! As always if anyone has any sapphic character/couple recommendations let me know! As of now these sims are not for download but I guess in the future if people really want them I could put them up for download. I will try and include as many downloads down below as I can but if you are looking for a specific item that is not listed fill free to yell at me for it.

i’ve always got more headcanons to spare! don’t you worry anon :)

Jocelyn loves being workout buddies. MC and Jocelyn are the type of couple to take hot gym pics together and post them on Instagram, and everyone thirsts in the comments. She loves it even more when MC wears matching workout clothes. The power couple vibes are very strong.

MC and Jocelyn love to watch trashy reality TV together, specifically dating shows. She’ll watch The Bachelor with her and they both argue over who the hottest girl is. Bonus points if she agrees because otherwise MC will spend the rest of the season hearing why she’s wrong.

Jocelyn loves Halloween, especially because of the couple costumes. Her and her girlfriend still go trick or treating despite being way too old, and like to trade candy afterwards. She dresses as Catra one year and makes MC go as Shera, and makes her shout “For the honor of gayskull!” at every house they trick or treat at. It makes her laugh every time.

When shark week comes around, Jocelyn is surprisingly supportive and helpful in any way MC needs. She’ll go out and buy her any supplies and cravings, she buries her in her hoodies and cuddles with her at all hours of the day. If anything, she’s benefitting too because of her love for physical affection. When her shark week comes around though, she’s a wreck. Super emotional, and generally more vulnerable than usual. The two of them watch sappy movies and she cries into MC’s arms about the tragic nature of romance. Frankly, it’s super adorable.

Jocelyn is built like a space heater, but she’s your space heater. The colder months of the year it’s a blessing because MC can latch onto her and she’s super thrilled. In the summer though? Jocelyn is constantly complaining about the heat. Cuddling is less than ideal, and she doesn’t even sleep with a sheet on the bed. Instead, she makes do with MC playing with her hair. Since it’s basically all she can get, she’s constantly grabbing MC’s wrist to move it to her head. Any time someone comments on it she just glares at them and resumes giving heart eyes to her girlfriend.

Jocelyn isn’t the best with words, but she loves to give romantic gestures all the time. She’ll buy MC a bouquet of her favorite flowers during the week just because, she’ll basically give MC her entire wardrobe despite the fact that her clothes almost never fit, and she is constantly attached to her at the hip. She tries to write MC a love letter once and it’s the sweetest thing she’s ever done because of how willing she is to push herself out of her comfort zone for her.
