🗣THE RIGHT TO BREATHE & SELF-CARE IS REVOLUTION.🗣 swipe for some 💫✨! been noticing my angle-dependent facial androgyny hints and feeding it some self-love & appreciation 😁💕 sometimes i struggle with accepting the person in the mirror is me. this is how i look. this is how i talk. "you need to eat, Héctor. you need to sleep, Héctor". • Quarantine has made me truly face myself and unearth all the self-loathing i didn't consciously acknowledge. something about my face never felt like it was me. Like i was this formless being or very old man or very young child. • But I'm okay, delighted even, with this host/interface of a body that allows me to interact with the universe and eat, talk, sing, dance, make art, breathe, etc. not everyone has the privilege of a body. • And holy shit talk about bodywork. Been doing yoga, jogging, breathwork, imperfect veganism, meditation, massaging, stretching, etc etc. Shit is painful work but LORD is my everyday life 1000× better because of it. I'm SO much more clearminded and productive and even then i still get fatigued from hyperfocus, overstimulation, distraction, mild dissociation, and anxiety.
