Finally, I’ve drawn something for Mermay. I was so sure I was gonna do every day, for once, but then my ADHD violently reminded me it existed. But hey, at least my ideas got gayer.

WIP of swimming mermaid. very proud to not have used any refernces at all, but it definitely needs smoothimg out and cleaning up. figuring out the initial swimming motion was kind of tricky, but the pov swivel (?) was a lot easier than anitcipated. all in all, very fun hehe

If you need more time, take your time to explore the world of fish and coral, seaweed and sea witches. Swim and float and flip around. Become one with the waves and find their flow. Ride the currents and explore that inner mystical sea until you come to a still point where you can rest and relax.
