“I’m in here!” He calls out from deep in the lab. The place practically pitch black but his eyes still pick up everything in the room. His sensitive vision not dampened in the slightest. A bright pink glowing substance in vials and pipettes. Eyes flicking up to see you walk in. 

“There you are…” You sigh, walking deeper into where he’s sitting. Seeing him there working on something new as always. “Whatcha doin?” You hum, pulling out a seat next to him and sitting down, looking over his gloved hands as he’s working. 

“Just workin’...” He says with a small smile your way. Not knowing exactly why you came in here. Sometimes you just do that. When you have a break from missions or even on your days off. Just to be near him, he thinks. Not that you consciously make the choice, you just subconsciously search for him all the time. “How did this morning go?” He asks softly, turning dials and working on whatever substance he’s making. 

“It was good… got the Vulture variant back to his dimension… no one was hurt.” You nod. Leaning your elbows on the table and watching him work. Your eyes flicking over the vials and liquids around the desk. 

“That’s good…” He hums, standing up from his seat, sneaking a kiss on your cheek before he walks over to the boxes and dials on the wall. You have no idea what he’s doing but he’s on a mission of some kind. Pumping something into something else and it bubbles up in the glass container. Sparkling pink and neon.

It’s quiet and relaxing here. Especially after the loud, fast mission you endured this morning. Just watching him work. Like nothing could disturb this moment. You sigh, basking in the quiet and calm, tapping your fingernails on the metal workbench. Before hissss!

A small splash of the bubbling liquid spurts from the canister, sprinkling on the desk and glowing. One drop hitting your hand, making you flinch. It’s not too hot actually. The boiling point must be pretty low, but it tingles. Miguel’s eyes blow wide, turning to you once he hears you gasp. 

“Shit- come here” He rushes over, clearly it’s serious. Holding onto your arms and ushering you over to the sink. Shoving your hands under the water and the cold liquid chills your fingers. His chest pressed to your back, dunking your hands under the water, holding your smaller hands in his bigger ones and rubbing his thumbs over the backs. 

“Sorry- I should’ve had you put gloves on if you were gonna be in here” He sighs, shaking his head. Squeezing your hands gently and checking the backs to see if there’s a welt or burn. But there’s nothing. That makes it worse actually though. 

“It doesn’t hurt… what was that?” You ask, stepping back and letting him squeeze your hands in a towel to dry them. His eyes are constantly looking down at your skin, checking the backs of your hands, the fronts. He doesn’t answer your question though. 

“Uh h-how do you feel?” He looks up at you. Looking in your eyes. Almost like he’s charting down your every move in a log in his mind. “I feel fine…” 

He discards the towel, holding your arms gently and looking up and down them, running his thumbs over the joints of your elbows. Looking at the veins in your arms. Specifically the arm where your hand got splashed. “Shit.” He huffs, his eyes catching the faint pink vein marks on your arms as whatever that was creeps up your arm, getting into your system. 

“What? What is it?” You ask again. Not liking that he’s not answering. 

“Here just sit down, you’re gonna be okay, baby…” He says. Holding your arm gently and leading you over to where you were sitting before. And he turns off all the equipment he was using. The bubbling stops, the pressure gauges going back to zero. “It’s not gonna hurt you…” He says, trying to calm you down. Cursing himself for being careless and letting this happen. He taps on his watch, the doors of the lab closing and locking. Adding to your unease.

“How do you feel now?” He asks, a sheepish look on his face. Sitting down in front of you and holding your hands. Your eyes narrow at him. Not answering this time. “What’s gonna happen to me?” You glare at him. 

“You just- um… here.” He sighs, letting go of your hands, messing with the small vial of pink solution. Pipetting a few drops out and dropping one on the back of his hand too. A little fizzle follows as the solution immediately absorbs into his skin just like it did on you. “Miguel!” You exclaim, eyes widening. 

“It’s okay… I suppose now is a good time to test it anyway…” 

“Test what?”

“Your Christmas present… birthday present, I don’t know… I made it for you. It was supposed to be a surprise so… surprise?” He says, grabbing your hands again. That guilty look on his face again. Looking at you through his big lenses and hoping you don’t get angry. 

His eyes seem to pierce into you. Like straight heat. Or maybe you’re just noticing how hot you’ve become. Like your spidersuit is made of fire clinging to your skin. Your face feels flushed and warm. Adjusting yourself on the lab stool and gasping, your clit buzzing like it’s awoken when it rubs over the edge of the metal. Eigentlich sollte KIM ein sicherer E-Mail Service für die Medizin, also die Kommunikation zwischen Krankenkassen und Ärzten sein. Etwas ähnliches gibt es auch seit Jahren im Bereich der Justiz für Gerichte und Anwälte. Insofern handelt es sich nicht um die grandiosiste Innovation. 

Trotzem ging es schief. Wie auf dem 37. CCC Kongress in Hamburg von dem Münsteraner Sicherheitsforscher Christoph Saatjohann vom Fraunhofer-Institut für Sichere Informationstechnologie (SIT) in Münster und Sebastian Schinzel berichtet wurde, haben insgesamt acht Krankenkassen durch die Gematik den gleichen S/MIME-Key erhalten. Sichere E-Mail beruht auf dem seit den 80-iger Jahren von Phil Zimmermann entwickelten Public-Private-Key Verfahren. In öffentlichen Einrichtungen geschieht das nach dem Standard X.509, während im privaten Umfeld Jede/r seine Schlüsselpaare selbst generieren kann.

Wenn jedoch die Zertifizierungsstellen (CAs) für verschiedene Akteure die gleichen Schlüssel verteilen, dann war es das mit der Sicherheit sensibler medizinischer Daten. Das ist der GAU in der PKI - der Public Key Infrastructure.

Laut den Sicherheitsforschern hatten, wie Heise.de schreibt, einmal drei Krankenkassen denselben im September 2021 ausgestellten Schlüssel, bei einem zweiten Schlüssel fünf. 28% der Bürgerinnen und Bürger seien über diese acht Krankenkassen versichert gewesen. Dieser Vorfall war nicht der erste mit KIM. 2022 wurde eine Log4J-Schwachstelle im KIM-Clientmodul von T-Systems gefunden.

Künftig werden die Schlüssel nun monatlich auf Dopplungen geprüft.

How an A-10 Warthog won a "kill" mark of a cow 🐄

In addition to all A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft in the U.S. Air Force fleet, an A-10 Warthog with serial number 81-994 may be among the most exclusive for a simple reason: it is the only aircraft we know to boast the mark of a slaughter, or "kill", of a cow.

Attributed to the 107th "Red Devils" Fighter Squadron, of the 127th Michigan National Air Guard Wing, at the Selfridge National Air Guard Base, the A-10 in question was seen in official photos of the U.S. Air Force displaying a yellow marking there slaughtering a cow next to other numerous weapon markings released in combat.

The marking of the slaughter of the cow dates back to at least 2017, when the commemorative painting of World War II in red and green of the A-10 of the 107th was launched to honor the 100th anniversary of the Red Devils. In 2018, the A-10 cow killer even appeared on a commemorative flight over the beaches of Normandy on the 74th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.

There are many rumors about the mark of the slaughter of the cow since it was first seen in U.S. Air Force photos. According to a report at The Aviation Geek Club, ground troops moved to an enemy village in an "unrevealed location" after an assortment of approximate air support with the A-10 where they left a cow "in pieces by 30 mm 'hot freedom" of the iconic Gatling GAU-8/A seven-barrel cannon of the A-10.

So, what's the story behind this unique 'kill' marking? According to Penelope Carroll, spokeswoman for the 127th Wing, the A-10 "unbelledly" killed a cow during aerial operations during the deployment of the 107th Fighter Squadron in Iraq.

Although minimal information about the particular mission was available, Carroll referred additional questions to the U.S. Central Command.

About 350 aviators and a dozen A-10s of the Michigan National Air Force were sent to Iraq and Syria in April 2015 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the U.S.-led fight against the caliphate of the Islamic State group, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Speaking about the deployment at the time, Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters praised the effectiveness of the approximate A-10 air support capabilities. That said, blowing up cows was probably not what they had in mind.

Hay momentos en los que la vida nos tiene guardadas sorpresas inesperadas, descubrir el universo musical de Nuria Culla es una de ellas. Cuando entras en las compasiones de la artista donostiarra es hacerlo en un mundo en el cual te vas a mover de una manera natural y orgánica por estilos que van desde la bossa nova, el jazz, el rock y el pop electrónico más actual. Desde 2013 la guipuzcoana lleva haciendo crecer un proyecto cada vez más consolidado, después de un EP e incontables actuaciones por salas y festivales del País Vasco llega el momento de presentar su primer larga duración.

Así ve la luz ¨Hamaika Gau¨, un disco donde Nuria Culla mezcla de manera magistral el euskera, el castellano y el inglés y en el que nos lleva por sonidos del smooth jazz de los años 70, el funk o el Neo soul. Un disco donde aparecen temas como la salud mental, el miedo a enamorarse o el lanzarse de lleno a una relación. Sin duda un trabajo apasionante donde la artista se ha juntado con un grupo de músicos que han entendido a la perfección el proyecto y le han llevado a un nivel superior. ¨Hamaika Gau¨, ha sido grabado, mezclado, masterizado y producido por Josu Erviti en su estudio de Iruña.

Y claro esta, como todo gran disco que se precie, hay que presentarlo con una gira a su altura. En el caso de Nuria Culla ha ido tejiéndo una serie de conciertos que la llevaran a visitar buena parte de nuestra geografía. Para la primera cita no tendremos que esperar mucho, ya que el próximo 1 de febrero Nuria Culla estará presente en el ciclo Microsonidos de Murcia. Al día siguiente toca visitar una sala mítica como es la Euterpe de Alicante, dos citas que servirán para ir calibrando el directo e ir tomando temperatura para los siguientes conciertos. Febrero se cerrará con visita a la sala Hangar 48 de Madrid para después emprender camino hacia las localidades riojanas de Leza de Río Leza y Peroblasco. En marzo Nuria visitará otra de las salas con más solera de nuestro país, como es la sala Creedence de Zaragoza, cerrando por ahora esta interesante gira con un concierto el 4 de abril en su Donosti natal. Sin duda muchos y diferentes conciertos para vivir de primera mano un disco y una artista diferente, la cual nos hará disfrutar desde el primer momento de cada uno de los shows.

FN America Exhibits Complete Line of Airborne Weapon at AAAA Annual Conference

FN America, LLC, is a U.S. subsidiary of FN Herstal, S.A had a great showing at the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) annual conference last month where they exhibited complete line of airborne weapon systems including various pintle mounts, FN PODs and the FN M3M or GAU-21. FN Herstal integrates its well-known .50 cal FN® M3P machine gun into a range of fixed forward-firing pods. Fitted with standard lugs, the pods can be carried by helicopters and subsonic aircraft equipped with 14’’ NATO standard suspension masts. The FN® M3M (GAU-21) is a .50 caliber (12.7x99mm) single barrel rapid-fire machine gun suitable for rotary-wing aircraft applications providing defensive firepower ranging out to nearly 2000 meters. The FN M3M™ was designated by the U.S. Navy as the GAU-21 in 2004. The U.S. D.O.D. has authorized the use of the GAU-21 for all branches of service, and it is currently in operation on multiple rotary-wing platforms of the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and the US Air Force. An evolution of the M3 .50-caliber heavy machine gun, it produces a blistering 1,100 rounds per minute cyclic rate of fire through the use of open-bolt operation and a dual recoil buffer system. Operating independent of either electrical or hydraulic power sources, the FN M3M™/GAU-21’s unique soft mount system enhances weapon accuracy and minimizes the firing vibration transmitted to the airframe. FN Herstal has been awarded a sole-source U.S. Navy contract to produce the FN® M3M .50-caliber machine guns under the Gun, Aircraft, Unit-21 (GAU-21) designation for Navy and Marine Corps rotary-wing assault aircraft.

Drugscrimineel Bordo wordt mogelijk uitgeleverd aan Frankrijk

Er is een reële kans dat de in Brazilië gearresteerde Joel ‘Bordo’ Martinus wordt uitgeleverd aan Frankrijk. Dit heeft advocaat Irvin Kanhai opgemerkt in gesprek met D-TV Express. Terwijl “de Facebook sensatiemaker” en gewezen hoofdbestuurslid van de ABOP in Suriname nog de status van verdachte heeft, staat hij bij de Franse justitie wel geregistreerd als een drugscrimineel. Hij wordt al enkele jaren gezocht door Frankrijk, waar hij bij verstek tot acht jaar gevangenisstraf werd veroordeeld wegens het organiseren van drugstransporten en het ronselen van drugskoeriers in 2019. Advocaat Kanhai denkt dat de Brazilianen gevolg hebben gegeven aan de red notice van Interpol. “Er zijn twee dingen die spelen. Er moet ooit een veroordeling zijn geweest van Frankrijk. Het openbaar ministerie van Suriname heeft hem op de Interpollijst geplaatst. Brazilië heeft op basis daarvan die aanhouding verricht en kennelijk op verzoek van Frankrijk die de uitlevering heeft gevraagd.” Kanhai merkt op dart er een uitleveringsverdrag bestaat tussen Brazilië en Frankrijk. “Brazilië heeft geen redenen om hem daar vast te houden. Naar ik weet heeft hij geen strafbare handelingen gepleegd op Braziliaans grondgebied. We kunnen gevoeglijk aannemen dat hij aan Frankrijk wordt uitgeleverd, want wij hebben niet om zijn uitlevering gevraagd.” “In het internationaal recht geldt de regel: wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt volgens de advocaat”. “Zelfs als hij een burger is van Suriname. Bovendien gaat het om een veroordeling bij verstek in Frankrijk.” Kanhai verdedigt Bordo in de zaak rond een vliegtuig dat in het district Marowijne begraven lag. Hiermee is vermoedelijk 450 tot 500 kg drugs vervoerd volgens de politie. In deze strafzaak staat Bordo terecht met Clifton ‘Keppie’ Jongaman, Prachand ‘Moena’ Phoeli, Ramesh ‘Rampie’ Phoeli en Albert Gau-Gau. Tegen de voortvluchtige Bordo werd er op 21 november 2022 een opsporingsbevel uitgevaardigd door het openbaar ministerie. Hij wordt gezocht voor mogelijk moord, doodslag, deelname aan criminele organisatie, drugshandel en witwassen. Kanhai geeft aan dat hij recentelijk geen contact heeft gehad met zijn client in Brazilië. “Ik heb hem nog niet gesproken en weet niet als het nog gaat lukken. Ik weet niet in welk verband zij advocaten daar gaan inschakelen om hem bij te staan”, aldus de rechtsgeleerde. Kanhai laat doorschemeren dat hij Bordo had geadviseerd om naar Suriname te komen en via het rechtssysteem zijn onschuld te bewijzen. “Ik ken het dossier, maar zoals het een advocaat betaamt heb ik hem geen informatie gegeven uit dat dossier. Ik heb hem gezegd “als je komt dan krijg je de informatie.” De Braziliaanse politie heeft eerder aangegeven dat met de arrestatie het uitleveringsproces bij de Hoge Raad wordt voortgezet. “Het gaat om een Surinaamse man die in Brazilië woonde, met een red notice uitgevaardigd door zijn land van herkomst en Frankrijk, en een arrestatiebevel tot uitlevering uitgevaardigd door het Federaal Hooggerechtshof. Met de arrestatie wordt het uitleveringsproces bij onze Hoge Raad voortgezet, zodat deze in zijn land van herkomst kan worden afgehandeld”, aldus de Braziliaanse politie. Read the full article

Der GAU bei Microsoft

Entwendeter Schlüssel viel mächtiger

Alles ist bis heute geheim, Microsoft sagt offiziell nichts über einen wahrscheinlich bereits im Juni entwendeten Masterkey. Aber eine US-Behörde hatte Microsoft auf seltsame Vorgänge in ihren Online-Exchange-Konten aufmerksam gemacht, weil sie in Protokolldaten verdächtige Zugriffe auf ihre E-Mails registriert hatten.

Microsoft gestand, dass mutmaßlich chinesische Angreifer, die Microsoft als Storm-0558 bezeichnete, sich Zugriff auf das von Microsoft gehostete Exchange Online vornehmlich europäischer Regierungsbehörden verschafft hatten. Dafür wurde ein Signaturschlüssel von Microsoft genutzt, mit dem man sich selbst funktionierende Zugangstoken für Outlook Web Access (OWA) und Outlook.com ausstellen kann - also ein Masterkey.

Dies hätte eigentlich nur für "billige" Privatkundenaccounts funktionieren sollen, doch die digitale Unterschrift funktionierte auch im Azure Active Directory für Business-Kunden. Doch es kommt noch viel schlimmer: Die auf Cloud-Security spezialisierte Firma Wiz behauptet, dass sie mithilfe des von Microsoft veröffentlichten Fingerprints weitere Möglichkeiten des Mastekeys identifiziert hätten. Dabei hätten sie festgestellt, dass der gestohlene Schlüssel nicht nur bei Microsofts Exchange Online funktioniere, sondern fast überall in der Microsoft Cloud.

Und noch schlimmer: Damit ist nicht nur der Exchange Mail Dienst, sondern das gesamte Azure Active Directory betroffen. Sogar in die in Unternehmen selbst betriebenen Azure-AD-Instanzen und deren Cloud-Appikationen können/konnten die Angreifer mit dem Schlüssel eindringen. Inzwischen hat Microsoft den kompromittierten Schlüssel gesperrt - der Vertrauensverlust ist dennoch enorm.
