2 Broke Girls

Say what you will about this show and just how awful it is, or crass, or you know...laugh track, ugh! I digress,

anyway, say what you will, i like it. You know what I need from a comedy, to laugh, that is literally all I ask from a tv comedy that I choose to watch. Now, obviously sometimes the jokes are easy, and most of the jokes are offensive, the difference between that here and on say... #dads the most similar comedy currently on tv, is that here, the jokes are funny

that's right, i said it, it's funny and I laugh, also this show is about as red state as i get...Another thing that makes this show better than Dads or one of the many many awful sitcoms that have made it three seasons, or even on air #howtobeagentleman #accordingtojim #tilldeath anyone, it's cast. 

This is not a two lead show, this is an ensemble show, with a strong trio of actors always around to make the jokes work, Matthew Moy, Garret Morris and of course Sophie herself the always awesome Jennifer Coolidge, an addition that i felt really cemented it for me. 

Moy and Morris btw do most of the more broad comedy whether be in physical type stuff like Han and his 1 pack, or obvious like Morris in pretty much every line he reads. They're my favorite parts of each episode and generally get a guffaw a piece unless it's a episode like tonight that was Sophie heavy and saw them each underused as a result. Looks like we're gonna have a great Han heavy ep next week though, and that's the eb and flow of shows like this. They can't all be like the one a few weeks ago where in one take Moy slapped Dennings on the rear and flipped around and bent over with a gleeful grin...whoo boy, that is the one thing i really prefer to single camera shows, broad comedy you only find on 3 camera and on #modernfamily the only other show that does it well.

now, the leads, sure Behrs voice can get on your nerves, and Dennings character is the biggest slut/prude (a difficult respectable mix) on tv, they also have a top notch chemistry unlike any female duo i can think of currently on tv..and if you watch the show, those cons i mentioned, aren't, they're part of what you like, i assume..

Anyway, this show i've found has a lot, a lot of haters and that's unfair with shows like Dads around and those other examples i mentioned before...tbs, if you haven't watched it because of what you've heard, you should, if you have, don't bother trying again, it's not less of what you hated the first time you tried...
