" FIRST IMPRESSIONS. " - GARDENIA.

(Hiiiii, so me and my friend @crowcake0 made silly little ocs that kiss and i wrote about them. Mira belongs to @crowcake0 and Darian belongs to me. Uhhhh, enjoy!)

Mortality is a blessing, living a long and aged life, and having that release at the end. Mortality is natural, familiar, it's what makes up the structure of humanity. So why must I stray so far from the structure?

I have walked this earth for far too long, and yet I am human. 245 years I have touched the ground, breathed this air, felt flesh on my bones and a heart in my chest, beating and beating like a drum and refusing to stop.

I have seen the rises and falls of empires, met many faces, and watched those faces parish. 

Human connection is such an odd thing. How fast it can fester and how fast it can end is truly fascinating to me. Every year that passes, the more and more I lose my hope for what humanity has done to this beautiful planet, animals they are. 

I have fought many wars, seen many corpses, I have lived so many lives in just one body. Every scar I gain tells its own story, at this point, they have become a clock for me to tell just how long I have lingered, even if I should've been gone decades ago.

Armor sat neatly on my body, weighing down heavily. I didn't mind it, I have lived in armor almost my entire life. I was never one for taking such domestic jobs, I was a known war lord, not just a personal knight to keep a queen safe. I was respected among men, my face never known, just a name. Darian. But for this, my face felt the bright shine and warmth of the sun, allumniating every scar and freckle on my skin. I was a spy, only here to collect intel, pretend, and leave, simple.

Gardenia was the name of the kingdom, quite grand i had to admit. Buildings of stone rose high into the sky, and the main centerpiece being a castle who stood above the rest. It was quite a sight for sore eyes, anyone could appreciate the architecture of this place. One moment I was admiring the view, the next I was being guided into the castle, it was much larger on the inside then it appeared on the outside. My arms remained at my sides, my eyes forward, my face looking as if made out of stone. Voices were going in and out of my ears, I had no care for what they had to say.

The throne room was truly gorgeous. All sorts of royal colors and banners lining the walls, paintings, statues, it was so alive. I almost broke when I took it all in, I had been in many castles but never like this.

Everything was a blur for me besides the room, all of the people, royal staff, all out of focus. I was only focused on my job, I had all the time in the world to marvel about such beauties and luxuries later. Though, I was sucked back in at the mere sight of the queen. Her hair looked unnaturally white, even golden from the large slivers of sunlight entering in. Her skin was a nice contrast from her hair. The second thing I noticed was a small scar on her forehead, big enough to be noticed, but small enough to not be a sore sight. I was so captivated I had forgotten to bow upon her entry.

I felt eyes on me, kneeling down with a hand to my heart and another behind my back. “Queen Mirabilis, I am at your service.” My voice was rough and groveling, my throat spiking for a moment. My head lifted a second after, meeting her directly in the eyes. Her hands folded neatly in front of her, her gown fitting for a queen, a crown resting neatly on her head.

“No need for the formalities my dear! Mira will do just fine.” A polite smile stretched across the queen's face, her voice gentle as silk. I only nodded my head to her request, I was afraid my voice would come out as high pitched as hers if i spoke anything else.

For my mission, I had to act as her personal knight. Or, a bodyguard. This had previously sounded like a simple task where I could collect a paycheck and leave. But, clearly my brain and heart were betraying me on this one simply for how captivating she had turned out to be.

I know this would have been different. I was protecting a king, I would keep my stone and stubborn face to the end, I always found men disgusting. An ironic thought for a person posing as one. I certainly blended in. my features looked more masculine, my chest never showed, my voice was manually deepended, there was no reason for any man to be suspicious i was not one of them.

“And what is your name, sir?” I had fully perked up upon hearing the queen speak up again, her head tilting the slightest bit out of curiosity.

“Darian, my queen.” I answered her back, clearing my throat before doing so. I heard her mumble my name a couple of times, letting the name sit on her tongue for a moment. A smile remained on her face, her voice was calming as she spoke to different advisors and staff, readying me a room and orders for other such tasks. I could tell she was an orderly presence among them all, despite her soft spoken demeanor and quiet appearance, they all knew she was in charge.

The absence of a king was the second thing I noticed when I had first walked in, only her. She had been ruling by herself, keeping this kingdom afloat for so long.

I had seen empires rise and fall, but this one held its head high, and so did its queen.

Ah, Gardenia. What to say about her? She's where most of the issues here arise. She's a single mother of two, an unethical scientist, and a disgraced doctor who got her medical license got revoked due to medical malpractice [think House MD levels]. She ordered a hit on her ex-lover, then subsequently sent her son to a mirror prison for threatening to tell the authorities about multiple of her crimes, left her daughter in a house fire in hopes that she would die, attempted to kill her daughter several more times after that, and now has made a deal with the government while also seething with the knowledge that Amy is still alive.

Gardenia couldn't give less of a fuck about monster rights, despite her kids being monster-human hybrids themselves. She'll vouch for whichever side gives her more money.

Since I started playing CRK and fell in love with the story and the cookeis in general, I took some of my OC's from my UT AU, Kaosuverse, most unused, that were built to be background ocs or simple legends...or whatever, and cookiefied them.

This post is specifically from my "entities" ocs, that in short are basically some gods/manifestations in some ultra omniverse level. I lastly worked on them back in 2023, and they exist since 2018/2019.

I don't think I am read to explain or talk more profoundly about them yet...Not their original versions anyway. But I decided to apply the "god in a jar" concept (is this even a concept? Idk) where I basically try fit them in CRK world in a way that won't ruin the universe of CRK at all, even changing their details, to match the cookie world in general.

As for the 'ingredients' I just decided I'd put straight away flowers and their designs, clothes atleast, are supposed to be represent these flowers.

Flowers because I like to search about meaning of things, including flowers, so, yeah.

So far, I made ocs as cookies, cookie ocs, headcanons, some fictional lore for the background...Anyways, here is their names.

How does your OC handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?

I haven’t really gotten into Darren’s journey into self care. I was thinking he’s pretty reliant on other people to “fix” him until it gets to a point where he’s “irredeemable.” Kind of like Joe Goldberg but no stalking.

I think before the war, his self care routine would’ve consisted of - talking to Lymond, beating a tree with a sparring sword, horse riding, slut it out, take a nap, etc.

Does your OC have a rival? How did it start?

No real rival. In his head, Jaime is his rival. Jaime can resign from the Kingsguard any moment and steal his inheritance. And in the Darren x Nadya universe, he can steal his girl too! Meanwhile loverboy over here couldn’t give fuck.

Who's a character your OC cannot stand! It's on sight when they see them!

Tyrion. Darren takes after Tywin’s disdain for Tyrion and treats him accordingly. He doesn’t like that he’s a dwarf, that he openly drinks and whores and “embarrass” the family name. Always giving the stank face when Tyrion walks into the room.

Also, you guessed it, Joffrey Baratheon.

What flower do you associate your OC with?

After doing two minutes of research. Sunflowers because of that scene in shrek where Fiona is picking petals off a sunflower. Snapdragons, gardenias, and aster because it’s his birth month flower (I think???)

The whole 'Yuma freaking out bc he forgot to enter Duel Carnival and didn't get a heart piece' thing doesn't happen since Kikyo told him in advance

None of my OCs are duelists, in-universe for multiple reasons, main reason is because I wanted to save my mind the pain of having to write duels for them and trying to understand Duel Monsters

Kite and Hart's mother is a witch. Originally, I did that bc I thought it would be cool, and it stuck

Casey (one of my OCs) is British as a meta joke on how 4Kids makes certain characters British

Yuma and Mari met as children and played together whenever their mothers visited each other

While Casey's main thing is alchemy, she also likes being a detective

Kari already knew the truth about Bloom, while Yuma didn't

Bloom would sometimes take her family to visit her adoptive parents in Gardenia. They didn't mind

Kari and Yuma would play with Kiko when they were little

Daphne would also visit them sometimes

While Bloom and Sky would've broken up by now, they still get along

When they were little, Mari would often beat up anyone who bullied Yuma

Mari disliked Shark at first since he broke Yuma's pendant. She yelled at him how important it was Yuma and told him if he ever tried something like that again, she'll make sure that what Yuma felt emotionally, he'll feel physically

Along with Mari, Jason and Leo are very protective of their friends

Yuma enjoys listening to Casey talk about alchemy, as it makes her happy

Hello hello! I’m here to share my beautiful ocs! From left to right we have: Kitty (jumping off), Karlos (climbing the tayaki while judging his sister), Gardenia (at the very top), Idyllic (below her looking at a fruity pebble), Emery (swinging himself from the spoon) and Evan (trying to catch Emery). I’m trying to draw my ocs more. I love them for being with me for over 20 years. I’m going to share them with everyone 🧡🧡🧡! Oh and Skeem is my vicious cat. Yes in universe she started her own brand of dessert 🤣

this isnt a 1:1 retelling for both medias, i mostly retell the duel monsters story but set in the magical universe, with plot and worldbuilding elements of both. there are 8 "seasons" and one "movie".

both og and 4kids versions of both medias will be taken into consideration for ideas and such

the worldbuilding is also not a 1:1 of winx but an expanded version of it, with both changes and additions. basically whatever the winx fandom has been doing for the past three years. theres going to be another post for worldbuilding that im eventually going to link in a masterpost

there are some ocs but they have minimal roles or are inspired by a version of the character (like s0 yami)

took some liberty with ages and family relations for storytelling reasons (atem and yuugi are brothers as theyre basically daphne and bloom, so are ryou and yamiba, mokuba and seto are older than the gang BUT STILL BIG BRO AND LITTLE BRO)

this is an intro post for whoever is interested so it like, doesnt have all the details ofc

basics

yuugi is basically the bloom of the au: has lived with his (unknowingly to him not biological) grandfather since he can remember, helped him manage his game shop in the city of gardenia. he's actually the lost prince of the kingdom of domino (shocker!) and a fairy. theres this weird spirit clad in gold with a mask and spiky hair begging him to help him remember who he is and which speaks to him in his dreams. no hes not going to unpack that yet

jonouchi (who is on the run and using the name joey) is saved by yuugi awakening his powers during a fight exactly like stella is saved by bloom. jou is also a fairy of the sun and moon. said fight is against rishid, who was supposed to get the "ring of solaria" from jou, who then refused, so he had to resort to drastic measures (*malik voice* "get his ass")

yuugi goes to alfea with jou!! boy has two invites which he stole for himself (and shizuka in case she ever found out she was a fairy jic), and so yuugi can get in. for some reason all the professors look at him weird (save him). also everyone keeps talking about the anniversary of this "fall of domino" which happened 16 years ago and he doesnt know why he gets shivers everytime he thinks abt it

there he meets his and jou's roommates for the rest of the year!! anzu (princess of lynphea and fairy of nature), honda (ex-specialist who just awakened his fairy form and transfered from red fountain, fairy of metals from zenith) and ryou (fairy of sounds from melody). they all get along immediately although with some awkwardness. with this, the plot starts setting into motion, and its a mix of winx s1 and duelist kingdom

alfea is run by pegasus, who was the vice-headmaster before his wife cynthia, former headmaster, died in the fall of domino while trying to help civilians. he's as spoiled and weird as in canon and as obsessed with his goal to bring her back. he's a fairy of imagination

the rest of the faculty isnt really fond of him tbh. especially newly appointed technomagic and draconology professor seto kaiba, who is also the crown prince of the planet of zenith and fairy of dragons. many thought he wasnt ready to take a seat in the faculty as he isnt a guardian fairy or even earned the charmix power up, but he's one of the smartest and best students they've ever had, so *of course* he managed to get it. being filthy rich also helped.

(kaibacorp is still a thing here, and seto is still ceo. however here gozaburo is alive and king of zenith, and thus he still watches over seto like an hawk. he will die eventually ofc but i wanted to explore how seto would be like in adulthood if gozaburo was still around, although a distant threat. dw, the "losing is death" thing still gets drilled into seto's head)

rule of thumb for every student and teacher is: do not ask professor kaiba about his time at alfea, he really doesnt want to think about it. others will tell you he was close friends with current queen of andros ishizu ishtar (fairy of waves and nymph of andros) and deceased crown prince of domino atem, former fairy and nymph of the dragon flame.

mokuba is a specialist. he has graduated and completed his knighthood training at redfountain for a while, and is now an assistant to both his brother and the redfountain headmaster for all magic-school related bs. he may be older than in canon but hes still baby And a little shit. and! he and seto are still two peas in a pod <3

other than alfea and redfountain, of course there is the school for witches: cloudtower. the headmaster is tkb, here named yuzuru (fake name!!!), an extremely powerful dark witch of sands, nobody knows his true age. one of their best students is mai valentine, a witch of storms from callisto who is finishing up her last year and thinks the concept of covens is lame and overrated

"yeah but whos the trix" well i mean three people who are/have been antagonists and would have beef with the protagonists for personal reasons but also would work really well with each other as characters and have a fun and even slightly dramatic synergy bc of the fuckery between them all. tl;dr:

💜 PURPLE HEART — what is your oc's ancestry/genetic background?

Well she is the descendant of one the first generation of The Nine Nymphs of Domino/The Nine Nymphs of Magix, whose is the first wielder of the Dragon’s Flame (a spark of the Great Dragon, who came from The Void, that is responsible for the creation of The Magic Dimension that the Great Dragon entrusted to the Royal Family of Domino, where it passed through generations from heir to heir. (DO NOT BE confused The Great Dragon to the celestial dragon, Tai Shui, the creator of the universe, including dimensions outside of The Magic Dimension)). Meaning that Marianne have blue-blood consider her mother, Daphne is the Queen of Domino & The Supreme Nymph of Domino/Nymph of Sirenix and her father, Thoren is a part of Eraklyon’s royal family. Marianne is also the niece of Bloom, a legendary member of The Winx Club. The rest of Magix known about her and her friends’ legacy, while the superhero public on Earth, only knew The Winx Club as the superheroes of the town, Gardenia.

Short-term, Marianne never understand why witches of Earth can wield positive magic/light magic, as she saw Duchess/Tiara and Hiraya, despite being identify herself as a wizard whose is a student of Luna Nova Magical Academy. {Aoi Yamaniwa}

Aoi Yamaniwa, or the Spring Season Hero: Ceres, is a character that appears in the unnamed BNHA OC universe. She is a sophomore student at Seiai College and a student of its Class 2-A. She is also the younger sister of Pro Heroes Persephone and Gardenia as well as a distant cousin of Ibara Shiozaki.

{Appearance}

Aoi is a tall, medium tanned young adult woman. Her pink hair is curly and she has brown eyes much like her sister Persephone does. All over her body are freckles due to being out in the sun so much. Like other women in the Yamaniwa clan, she has a floral tattoo on her arm.

Since she grew up in a home that valued the beauty of the earth, Aoi has a love of flowers and plants and incorporates it into her everyday wear whether it be by wearing flower crowns or sporting earrings shaped like fruits.

{Personality}

Coming from a family of radical environmentalists, Aoi is full of rage for people who just want to see the earth die. Every act that harms nature is unforgivable in her eyes from littering to pollution. Hence why she has strict rules when it comes to being in her room since there are a lot of plants in there.

But that rage isn't just for the people who harm the earth, it's also for anyone who lacks morals and those who view themselves as holier than thou. She has no problem scolding both and giving them a good old-fashioned beatdown on a good day.

It's often a joke among her friends that she's just 78% percent righteous fury and they're not wrong. She doesn't have time or energy to be gentle towards people who are hurting others and she has one hell of a punch instinct.

If there's one thing Aoi loves besides plants, it's her loved ones. She keeps a close bond with her family and keeps her friends even closer.

{Overall Abilities}

Fighting Spirit: Aoi is one hell of a fighter and she doesn't give up easily. If she wants to fight someone to the death, then she'll fight them to the death.

Knowledge of Plants: Due to the nature of her powers and the vast gardens around the Yamaniwa clan compound, Aoi has acquired a vast knowledge of plants.

Aerial Gymnastics: Since she often uses vines to get around on the battlefield, it was important that she learned aerial gymnastics much like the rest of her sisters. And she's damn good at it like them, too.

Quick Thinker: Aoi knows that there's little to no time for strategy on the battlefield, to her you either think fast or you die faster. Due to this philosophy, she has developed quick thinking.

Environmental Fighter: Aoi uses her environment to her advantage by grabbing the nearest object and just going to town. Grabbed a nearby brick? Smash it into the villain's face. Table in front of her? Throwing that shit.

Trilingual: Aoi can speak three languages fluently: Japanese, Spanish, and English. She learned Spanish from her father since he wanted his heritage to be with his daughters as well.

{Quirk}

Primary Quirk: Bloom - Aoi can create flowers from any part of her body that release a noxious gas much like Persephone's Blossom can. Only that this gas doesn't cause its target to fall into sleep like hypnosis, but instead to experience symptoms of touching poison ivy.

Secondary Quirk: Mother Earth - The dominant Quirk of the Yamaniwa clan. Aoi grow plants out of her own body or take control of the plants around her and manipulate them freely.

Her birthday is on Earth Day.

Her inspirations are Poison Ivy, Stephanie Brown/Spoiler, and Flora.

She once broke someone's nose during training because they called her a green freak.
